President Joe Biden’s effort to “build back better” has degenerated into “build back poorer” for the American people and “build back broke” for the American government.
With gasoline prices setting new record highs every week, the American people are becoming poorer.
With the high cost of diesel fuel (up 70 percent over the last year) raising the cost of every product delivered to stores by truck, the American people are becoming poorer.
With the high cost of petroleum being translated into higher prices for fertilizer and other products necessary to modern farming, the price of food is skyrocketing and leaving the American people poorer.

What Is the US End Goal in Ukraine?

President Joe Biden recently signed into law a massive $40 billion “emergency” measure allocating additional U.S. aid to Ukraine. That $40 billion sum, which includes $20 billion in direct military assistance, $8 billion in general economic support, $5 billion directed toward food shortages and $1 billion toward the Ukrainian refugee crisis, comes on top of Congress’s earlier $13.6 billion aid appropriation. On Wednesday, the White House announced that due to this additional funding, the U.S. “will be able to keep providing Ukraine with more of the weapons that they are using so effectively to repel Russian attacks.” Specifically, the military portion of the massive $40 billion figure will fund “new capabilities and advanced weaponry,” including four advanced guided-rocket systems equipped for a 48-mile range.Around the same time, Ukrainian President — and newfound liberal in …

Hand Count Drops Democrat Winner To 3rd Place In Major Race

The Democratic primary for a Georgia county has been called into question after a hand count revealed the voting machines were off by thousands of ballots.
Marshall Orson, a Democratic DeKalb County school board member running for the county commission, asked the local elections board on Thursday to not certify the results as scheduled on Friday due to “numerous issues” with the race.
Orson asked for an “independent review” and a formal recount of the election in his letter to the board, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
“There is no rational basis for believing that there are not continuing issues with the results and the results should not be certified with the continuing existence of multiple substantive issues and concerns,” Orson wrote. “Doing so would pose a substantial risk not only to the confidence the public will have in the overall election results from this race but could extend to the entire primary as well as the general election.”
The initial Democratic primary results showed Orson winning for commission District 2 with Lauren Alexander in second place and Michelle Long Spears in third. This would have put Orson against Alexander in a runoff election.
