Donald Trump Rallies Wyoming Against ‘Lapdog for Pelosi’ Liz Cheney

Former President Donald Trump rallied supporters in Casper, Wyoming, on Saturday, urging them to vote against Rep. Liz Cheney (R‑WY) in the Republican primary.
“Worse than the terrible Democrats are the backstabbing RINO republicans that are helping them do their act,” Trump said. “And there is no RINO in America who has thrown in her lot with the radical left more than Liz Cheney.”
During the rally, Trump described Cheney as a “lapdog for Pelosi and a human soundbite machine for CNN and MSDNC.”
“She has gone crazy,” Trump continued. “Now I get it. I’ve been hearing these stories for years. Now I get it. She’s gone totally crazy.”
Trump painted the entire Cheney family as guilty of failing the country.
“The Cheneys are die-hard globalists and warmongers that have been plunging us into new conflicts for decades, spilling American blood and spending American treasure all over the world,” he said.
The pr …

Russia shows off Zircon hypersonic cruise missile in test-launch at sea

Russia successfully test-fired a hypersonic Zircon cruise missile over a distance of about 1,000km, the defence ministry said on Saturday (May 28).The missile was fired from the Barents Sea and hit a target in the White Sea, it said. Video released by the ministry showed the missile being fired from a ship and blazing into the sky on a steep trajectory.

President Vladimir Putin has described the Zircon as part of a new generation of unrivalled arms systems. Hypersonic weapons can travel at nine times the speed of sound, and Russia has conducted previous test launches of the Zircon from warships and submarines in the past year.

Russia’s military has suffered heavy losses of men and equipment during its three-month invasion of Ukraine, which it calls a “special operation”, but it has c …

Killer’s Parents Make Excuses

The father of the 18-year-old who shot and killed 19 students and two teachers at an Uvalde elementary school after shooting his grandmother in the face has apologized for his sons actions — but demanded “I don’t want them calling him a monster.”
Salvador Ramos Sr. told the Daily Beast on Thursday, “I just want the people to know I’m sorry man, [for] what my son did.”

The 42-year-old admitted that he had not seen his son in some time due to his fears about being exposed to COVID-19. He said that his son became frustrated with his COVID concerns about a month ago and stopped speaking to him.

“I never expected my son to do something like that,” Ramos continued. “He should’ve just killed me, you know, instead of doing something like that to someone.”

Daily Beast releases apology to Hunter Biden’s laptop repairman

The Daily Beast has issued an apology to the Delaware computer repairman who acquired Hunter Biden’s laptop for wrongly claiming in a past story that the computer was “stolen.”

The apology to John Paul Mac Isaac appeared in a Wednesday editor’s note attached to a story the Daily Beast published in Dec. 2020 alleging the laptop was pilfered, Fox News reported.

“An earlier version of this story mistakenly referred to Hunter Biden’s laptop as ‘stolen.’ We have removed that word, and we apologize to Mr. Mac Isaac for the error,” the editor’s note reads.

Isaac, 45, was left with the infamous laptop after Hunter Biden abandoned it at his shop in 2019. The repairman came to legally own the laptop after the president’s son neglected to ever pick it up.

In October 2020, The Post reported that the device contained a trove full of emails t …

Summer Power Blackouts May Be On The Horizon

By Casey Harper (The Center Square)
As energy and gas prices continue to rise, industry insiders are warning that blackouts and “energy emergencies” may be in store for millions of Americans this summer.
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation released a report this week evaluating the possibility of blackouts, saying that there is a “high risk of energy emergencies during peak summer conditions” in many parts of the country.
RELATED: JP Morgan Warns Gas Prices About To Get Much, Much Worse
“System operators in [Midcontinent Independents System Operator] are more likely to need operating mitigations, such as load modifying resources or non-firm imports, to meet reserve requirements under normal peak summer conditions,” the group’s report said. “More extreme temperatures, higher generation outages, or low wind conditions expose the MISO North and Central areas to higher risk of temporary operator-initiated load shedding to maintain system reliability.”
In the summer months, the need for things like air conditioning energy soars. At the same time, Americans are already experiencing record high gas prices and energy prices that hav …

U.S. Treasury Targets Hamas Financial Network | FDD’s Long War Journal

Tressury-designated Hisham Qafisheh and Trend GYOOn May 24, the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) announced it designated a Hamas financial official, and other financial facilitators, including companies used to move money for the Gaza-based militant organization. The move is the latest in a series of actions by the U.S. government to target Hamas’ illicit financial network around the globe.

The individuals and entities sanctioned by Treasury were Ahmed Sharif Abdallah Odeh, Usama Ali, Hisham Yunis Qafisheh, ‘Abdallah Yusuf Faisal Sabri, Trend GYO, Anda Company, Agrogate Holding, Al-Rowad Real Estate Development, Sidar Company and Itqan Real Estate JSC.

All were found by Treasury to be involved in concealing and laundering funds for Hamas.

Treasury noted that Hisham Yunis Qafisheh played an “important role” in the transfer of Hamas funds. He also managed several companies operated by Hamas, including Agrogate Holding, Al-Rowad Real Estate Holding and Turkey-based Trend GYO.

From documents obtained by FDD’s Long War Journal, Qafisheh was also a board member of another Turkish real estate company called IYS. That information was not included in Treasury’s report and IYS was not mentioned as having any connection to Hamas in Tuesday’s announcement.

Also not mentioned in Treasury’s report is Qafisheh’s change of name.

From the documents obtained by FDD’s Long War Journal, Qafisheh changed his name to Hasmet Aslan, though it is unclear on what date that occurred and the …
