Jesse Watters Drops Bombshell Live On Air About Paul Pelosi’s Arrest

US House Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D‑CA) has been a burden on the American taxpayer for much of her life, and as a dependent of the government, with a political stronghold of power over our nation’s capital, she has benefitted greatly in the way of travel perks, luxurious accommodation, access to money players, and ability to perform good old fashioned cronyism- to help her family members benefit as well.
Now we know from her husband’s recent drunk driving arrest that none of the people in her circle have to face the consequences of the law like we- the little people- do.
It is good to be queen Nancy Pelosi, right?

15,000-Strong Immigrant Caravan Makes Its Way North…

It is estimated that a so-called migrant caravan of 15,000 is making its way from Tapachula on the Mexico-Guatemala border to the United States this week.
The last count had the caravan at 11,000, but it is expected to grow as they make their way north. This caravan is on its way despite a federal judge’s decision to uphold Title 42, a pandemic-related public health policy to restrict the number of people coming across the border that the Biden administration had been planning to lift.
The timing is also of note due to this week’s Summit of the Americas, hosted by the Biden administration in Los Angeles. The Summit is meant to discuss various things but undoubtedly immigration will be on the forefront of the agenda. Still, the President faces considerable hurdles in getting any actual results among them controversy over who is and isn’t going to the Summit.

Economists To Americans: Get Used To It!

While Americans struggle daily with inflation, and high gas and food prices, economists at investment firm Morgan Stanley added one more thing to the list.
There will be ongoing convulsions to the U.S. economy, which probably means your 401K will not look any rosier anytime soon.
Also according to Morgan Stanley, things like low interest rates and cheap debt will be becoming things of the past.
There are concerns that the volatile stock market could get even dicier by the specter of what was once thought impossible: Stagflation.
In short, that’s high inflation and a stagnant, or even shrinking, economy…

Oprah Promotes Gun Control With David Hogg

David Hogg, a survivor of the shooting in Parkland, Florida in 2018, was given a platform by personality Oprah Winfrey to promote gun control in the wake of the shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
Hogg’s self-described mission is to “find common ground with those who oppose gun control.” Oprah asked Hogg about his organization March For Our Lives and what ideas he has for restricting guns.
Hogg spoke idealistically with the celebrity influencer about his ideas for ending gun violence in America. “We’ve always heard this conversation as either you’re anti-gun or you’re pro-gun,” he said. “We need a third way in this country to acknowledge the fact that our entire country is anti-gun violence. Our entire country is pro-peace. Every gun owner that I have ever met, every responsible one, at least, is for that.”

DeSantis Ramps Up Effort To Fight Against Woke State Universities

As seems to be the case more and more, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is front and center in the fight against the left’s push towards socialism and “wokeness.”
His latest battle in the war against woke is taking on what has become not so much education, but indoctrination in the Sunshine State’s colleges and universities. DeSantis wants to “bring accountability” to the state’s higher education system, and put professors and other faculty members on notice when they want to bring a left wing agenda into the classroom.

Oh Well, Riot Hearings Are Killing Liz Cheney’s Reelection Chances

When the House committee investigating the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol holds its first public hearing Thursday, Rep. Liz Cheney will stand out as the Republican who broke ranks with her party and with former President Donald Trump over his role in inciting the mob.
But that national platform and crusade of hers is contributing to Cheney’s undoing with GOP voters at home in Wyoming, according to polls and interviews with state Republicans who say she’s becoming too identified with Washington politics that damage the de facto leader of her own party.
Cheney is trailing her leading GOP primary rival, attorney Harriet Hageman by 28–56 percent, according to a survey chartered by the Hageman-backing super PAC, Wyoming Values, and obtained by NBC News. The survey was conducted by Tony Fabrizio, who also polls for former President Trump. It closely tracks other polls in the state, according to Republican insiders.
“I think the race is kind of getting baked in here against Cheney,” said Republican consultant Bill Cubin. “It wouldn’t be so much that she’s participating in the Jan. 6 Committee — and yes a lot of Republicans are uncomfortable with that — but there’s this feeling she’s not really representing Wyoming anymore.”

Unfunded state pension liabilities grow to $8.28 trillion

Unfunded state pension liabilities have climbed to $8.28 trillion, or nearly $25,000 for every person in the United States, according to a new report from the American Legislative Exchange Council.
The American Legislative Exchange Council released the latest edition of its report on pensions in all 50 states Thursday. The report, “Unaccountable and Unaffordable 2021,” shows just a handful of states with outsize pension liabilities account for a large share of overall pension debt in the U.S.
The report looked at 290 state-administered government pension plans and their assets and liabilities from fiscal year 2012 to fiscal year 2020. An example of state-administered government pension plans in Illinois would cover state employees, teachers, university workers, judges and lawmakers.

Amidst New Outbreak, WTO Shouldn’t Monkey with TRIPS

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.
For almost two years, the World Trade Organization (WTO) has been kicking around a proposal to stop enforcing — that is, to allow the stealing of — all Covid-19 vaccine patents. The folly of this proposal has been apparent since it was first put forward. Now, however, it’s under consideration for adoption at a WTO ministerial conference in Geneva next week. Trade officials should stop their mindless posturing and reject it before it does even more harm.At every point in the fight against the coronavirus, strong intellectual property (IP) protections have been thoroughly vindicated. Now, it appears Mother Nature herself is making the same argument — through an international outbreak of monkeypox. Before a few weeks ago, most Americans had probably never heard of monkeypox. Yet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now tracking its spread from central Africa to Canada, Europe, and the United States.Luckily, vaccines are already available. Except luck had nothing to do with it.We have monkeypox vaccines because laboratories and drug companies invested billions of dollars researching and developing them. It’s not an accident that the smallpox vaccines now being enlisted to fight off monkeypox were developed in nations with strong IP protections., Only in countries providing such protections do such massive investments in medi …

Trump To Make Big Announcement On July 4th

Now that the midterms are a mere 5 months away, Republicans hold a six-point advantage in their bid to regain control of Congress.
If the elections for Congress were held today, 47% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, and 41% would vote for the Democratic candidate, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. In total, only 4% of people would vote for another candidate, and another 7% aren’t sure…CONTINUE READING»>

Biden’s social media staff cost taxpayers as much as $6.7M each year

EXCLUSIVE — President Joe Biden’s social media presence may be costing taxpayers millions of dollars per year, according to an analysis of White House personnel records and recent reporting about Biden’s messaging challenges.
A recent story detailing White House staff dysfunction included information attributed to spokesman Andrew Bates that more than 70 staffers help create and manage Biden’s social media content. Based on salary data, the combined salary for 70 White House staffers would be roughly $6,695,436, not including equipment or other costs.
For comparison, the social media budget for large companies with more than 50 employees was generally $100,000 or more in 2021, according to the social media management platform Hootsuite. That figure would include media equipment and production costs, copywriting and editing, software, paid advertising campaigns, and salaries. The $6.7 million White House figure only accounts for the estimated salaries of the 70 White House staffers working on Biden’s st …
