Iran and Venezuela Sign 20-Year Cooperation Agreement
Venezuela’s socialist leader Nicolas Maduro and Iran’s hardline theocratic president Ebrahim Raisi recently signed a 20-year cooperation agreement. The Associated Press reported that this new agreement came just one day after Maduro praised the Iranian Islamic Republic for sending badly needed fuel to Venezuela despite American sanctions. In an interview with Maduro after he arrived for a two-day visit in Tehran, Iranian state media reported that Maduro heaped praise upon Iran’s efforts to send fuel tankers in support of his country. Maduro said, “Tehran’s delivery of oil to Caracas was a great help to the Venezuelan people.”Maduro’s visit to Iran comes as tensions heighten across the Middle East as negotiations over Iran’s nuclear deal fell apart and as U.S. sanctions and rising global food prices choke Iran’s suffering economy. This was Maduro’s first visit to Iran.A high-ranking delegation from Venezuela comprised of political and economic officials joined Maduro on his visit to Iran after receiving an invitation from Raisi. Venezuela, like Iran, is under heavy sanctions from the U.S., which hinder its economic growth. In a joint press conference …

Pennsylvania Parents Sue Over Transgender Lessons for First Graders

Three Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania mothers filed a lawsuit last week to stop a first grade teacher from instructing their kids about transgender transitioning and other gender identity topics.Fox News reported that the lawsuit seeks a “court order to stop the gender-related instruction or offer parents the chance to excuse their children from it” at Jefferson Elementary School in the Mount Lebanon School District. The plaintiffs Carmilla Tatel, Stacy Dunn and Gretchen Melton name first-grade teacher Megan Williams in their suit as having violated the Constitution, state law, and district policy by teaching gender ideology in the elementary school class. The parents’ lawsuit cited the 14th Amendment’s due process clause as the basis for their parental rights, something that American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten previously said “starts wars.“Among the examples listed in the suit, Williams had allegedly said, “ ‘parents are wrong’ and parents and doctors ‘make mistakes’ when they bring a child home from the hospital,” all phrases consistent with pushing gender ideology on children.Megan Williams “began the process of interjecting her own personal life and views into the classroom, explaining that her child had worn an ‘Elsa dress’ for Halloween” the suit alleged.According to Newsweek, Williams claims her own child is transgender but for the three parents that “does not give her the right to impose those views on a captive audience of six- and seven-year-old …

FDA Faces Backlash Over Flavored Cigar Ban
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing a ban on all characterizing flavors in cigars in what they say is an attempt to reduce younger smokers from trying tobacco, but others say adults should have the freedom of choice.According to an FDA press release, the proposed ban on “all characterizing flavors (other than tobacco) in cigars” would attempt to reduce “youth experimentation and addiction.”
“The proposed rules would help prevent children from becoming the next generation of smokers and help adult smokers quit,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said.
Critics of the proposed ban say individuals should have the freedom to decide what they can and cannot buy, not the government.
“The choice of which legal products adult consumers have a right to enjoy should be left entirely to adult consumers,” said David Ozgo, president of the Cigar Association of America (CAA).
The CAA has launched an online portal allowing cigar consumers to voice their opinions on the FDA’s pr …

NYC Spends 200k on Drag Performers for Public Schools

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
New York City shelled out more than $200,000 in taxpayer funding in the past five years to have drag queens come into classrooms and interact with schoolchildren as young as age 3, according to a report. The nonprofit Drag Story Hour NYC, previously known as Drag Queen Story Hour NYC, received approximately $207,000 in taxpayer funding since 2018, the New York Post reported, citing city records. The total includes a $50,000 contribution from New York State through its Council on the Arts, along with $157,000 earmarked from New York City’s Departments of Education, Cultural Affairs, Youth and Community Development, and even from the Department of Transportation, according to the Post. Records show that the non-profit received $46,000 from city contracts for appearances at public schools, street festivals and libraries in May alone ahead of Pride month. Insufferable Taylor Lorenz Returns to the Spotlight at the WaPo

The Washington Post continues to display its internal dysfunction. The Washington Post continues its spiral into a realm of inconsequence. Following its weeklong melodrama with a petulant reporter, the paper segues back to dealing with another problematic staffer. I previously said that Taylor Lorenz had to be grateful for the childish drama Felicia Sonmez stirred up, as it distracted from her latest fiasco of an article and the ensuing fallout. But after the paper finally fired Sonmez, which meant that her getting the hook and being yanked offstage, the spotlight would swing back onto Lorenz.
Recently, the WaPo media critic, Eric Wemple did something rather unique: casting a critical eye upon his own outlet. Wemple does at times show flashes of objectivity like this, and as he explored the ongoing inconsistencies behind the Lorenz issue, he was met with something revealing; his own paper was not forthcoming about the details.
To briefly recap things, the initial Lorenz article centered on YouTube accounts she found had garnered increased interest from covering the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial, and profited from the spikes in traffic. A couple of those accounts stated they had never been contacted by Lorenz, as she reported, and some of her stated claims were inaccurate. This led to the paper stealth-editing her piece and then issuing two corrections. It also led to her making charges her editors had placed the incorrect information into her piece.
Wemple explored the aftermath, and as he studied this episode there were two aspects of the tale he focused upon; the claim of editors inserting the claim of Lorenz making contact, and the standing policy at The Post t …

Whistleblowers Explain How Smugglers Are Exploiting California’s Sanctuary State Policy

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, California — Whistleblowers are detailing how California’s sanctuary state policy, shielding illegal aliens from arrest and deportation, is crucial to smugglers operating the billion-dollar enterprise for the Mexican drug cartels.
In October 2017, California joined a number of other blue states in designating itself a destination for illegal immigration by imposing a strict sanctuary state policy that bans local law enforcement from inquiring about the immigration status of suspects and cooperating with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
Likewise, then-California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed into law the policy that allows illegal aliens to secure driver’s licenses in the state.

Whistleblowers close to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told Breitbart News that California’s sanctuary state policy is a vital tool for smugglers working for the cartels who bring thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to the United States-Mexico border every day.
For example, in cases where federal immigration officials are trying to track down smugglers and the illegal aliens they are smuggling, whistleblowers said California local police almost never intervene to help with arrests.
“California officers are not allowed to intervene ever,” a whistleblower said. “And the officers will literally say, …

The Left Owns Too Much Cultural Ground Without The Few Conservative Harbors Giving It Away

The right has come to expect transgender accolades in the corporate media, with networks such as CNN and MSNBC perpetually promoting that left-wing ideology. But conservative viewers were stunned on Friday to see that radical narrative being pushed by the only major cable network still sympathetic to their views: Fox News.
As part of its push for Pride Month, Fox aired a segment about a family who transitioned their now-14-year-old daughter when she was only 5 years old because, as Fox said, “before Ryland could even speak, ‘he’ managed to tell his parents that he is a boy.”
The entire segment, about Ryland Whittington and the rest of the family, was trans propaganda. It legitimized the idea that incoherent toddlers can discern their sex, that sterilizing children is compatible with “Christian faith,” that pumping wrong-sex hormones into young bodies protects them from suicide, and that pretending a girl is actually a boy is what “living authentically” looks like.
Fox News viewers felt deep betrayal — not only bec …

Joe Biden Admits to Elite Donors: “We’re Gonna Live With This Inflation for a While”

President Joe Biden shifted his narrative on inflation at a California fundraiser Friday night, despite his administration stressing for months that inflation was only temporary.
“We’re gonna live with this inflation for a while,” Biden said at the event. “It’s gonna come down gradually, but we’re going to live with it for a while.”
The Beverly Hills fundraiser with wealthy Democrat donors was hosted by billionaire Haim Saban, a media mogul.

That was a slightly different message from the more positive one he issued to Americans while visiting the Port of Los Angeles earlier Friday afternoon.
“Inflation outside of energy and food, what the economists call core inflation, moderated the last two months,” Biden said. “Not enough, but it moderated. It’s come down, and we need it to come down much more quickly.”
According to the latest consumer price index numbers for May, month-to-month core inflation was at 0.6 percent, the same percentage it was in April. Year-to-year core inflation was up 6 percent in May compared to a year ago, down from 6.5 percent in March.
The president has failed to offer any new solutions to solve inflation, despite calling it his “top economic priority.”
During his speech, Biden blamed oil companies for high gas prices and shipping companies for high shipping prices.
He also blamed all of the food and gas hikes on Russian President Vladimir Putin, even though prices were already rising before the invasion of Ukraine.
“I understand Americans are anxious, and they’re anxious for good reason,” Biden said, adding, “We have never seen anything like Putin’s tax on both food and gas.”

A NEW National Shortage Is Creating Major Nightmare

It’s not just baby formula that’s gone missing from store shelves…women across America are now in a panic after a new essential product is no longer available.
“In the last few months, I’ve visited stores in New York, Massachusetts, and California — no tampons,” Alana Semuels wrote for Time.
Now, people from all over the country are complaining about not being able to find what they need.
“Is there a tampon shortage or something? I just went to 5 different Walgreens [and] the shelves are CLEARED,” one user tweeted.
“I kept asking myself — am I going crazy? Because I went to so many stores and couldn’t find anything,” a mom in Queens said, according to Time.
With supply chains snarled all across the world, the tampon shortage seems to be just one more result of the problem.
