Dems Didn’t Get Reaction to J6 Show They Wanted
If the Democrats thought that the reaction to the Jan. 6 Committee was going to be riveting, the reaction so far from a variety of quarters says not so much.CNN’s Chris Wallace expressed skepticism that the Committee was going to produce anything of worth.
“I’m kind of skeptical about what we’re going to see tonight and over the next couple of weeks,” Wallace said on CNN minutes before the hearing was set to begin.
Wallace said the committee had put itself in danger of falling victim to too much “hype” about its findings and “over-selling” what they have to tell the American people about the attack.
“You’ve got Jamie Raskin, one of the members of the committee, saying ‘this is going to blow the roof off the House,’ you’ve got Adam Kinzinger saying ‘It’s going to change history,” Wallace said.
As we noted, they tried to scale back expectations after those exaggerations. As my colleague Bob Hoge noted it was a dud.
Wallace also called it a bad look that the Committee had hired a former ABC official to help produce the event. “I think that’s a bad look both for the committee and the mainstream media to seem that they are hand in glove with each other,” Wallace said. No kidding, ya think?

Biden’s Approval Hits All-Time-Low, Again
President Biden’s approval rating has been in a continuous state of decline since the failed Afghanistan withdrawal last summer. With just months left before the midterm elections, his average approval rating has now fallen below 40 percent.
According to RealClearPolitics, President Biden has a record low of 39.5 percent as of Thursday, while his disapproval stands at 54.8 percent. The drop under 40 percent comes after two recent polls from the first week of June. One from Quinnipiac (6/3–6/6) shows Biden with a 35 percent approval rating and 56 percent disapproval rating, the other—an NPR/PBS/Marist survey (5/31–6/6)—has Biden at 39 percent approval and 52 percent disapproval. On the economy, only 34 percent of the job he’s doing while 60 percent disapprove, on average. Jason Miller: Cheney Deceptively Edited J6 Footage
Jason Miller, CEO of GETTR and former spokesperson and adviser for former President Donald Trump, said that Rep. Liz Cheney (R‑WY) deceptively edited his testimony that was played during the January 6 Committee’s primetime hearing.
During the committee’s primetime hearing, Cheney played a thirty-second clip of Miller’s video-recorded testimony.
“In this clip, Miller describes a call between the Trump campaign’s internal data expert and President Trump a few days after the 2020 election,” Cheney said shortly before playing the clip.
“I was in the Oval Office. And at some point in the conversation, Matt Oczkowski, who was the lead data person. was brought on, and I remember he delivered to the president in pretty blunt terms that he was going to lose,” Miller said in the video.
“And that was based, Mr. Miller, on Matt and the data team’s assessment of the sort of county by county state by state results as reported?” the investigators asked Miller.
“Correct,” Miller said.

Farmers Fight Biden’s Taxes As Inflationary
Few feel the pain of inflation like farmers. From fuel to fertilizer, America’s green thumbs get hit when they plant and when they buy finished products at the local Piggly Wiggly.
And now one group is fighting back. Ag Conservatives, a new coalition led by two former agriculture secretaries, has formed to challenge Biden administration policies that are boosting inflation.
In its first move, it is spending tens of thousands to fight an import tax proposed by President Joe Biden that would lead to higher prices on goods produced overseas, including fertilizer. It’s in the “Build Back Better” plan that the president is trying to resurrect.
Called the “carbon border tax,” the group dubbed it “inflation on steroids” in a new video. “The cost of food and gas will go up even more,” warned the ad.

Democrats Begin Fundraising Over Jan 6 Hearing
The Democratic National Committee is fundraising off of the Jan. 6 committee hearing and attacking Republicans, according to a photo of an apparent DNC fundraising email posted on Twitter by the Republican National Committee.Under the heading Biden Harris Democrats, the DNC stated, “Tonight, TV cameras will turn to Capitol Hill as the January 6 Select Committee begins its public hearings into how Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican allies organized a mob and incited a deadlyinsurrection to attempt to overturn a fair, free, and secure election.”
Republicans have repeatedly denied these claims and are calling the committee “illegitimate” and a “sham” orchestrated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D‑Calif.).
The DNC asked supporters to donate $25 to “help elect Democrats who will protect our democracy,” according to the email.
The organization then proceeded to accuse Trump supporters of working against democracy.
“MAGA Republicans didn’t stop after January. Across the country, they have continued to undermine our democracy by promoting Trump’s Big Lie and making it harder to vote,” the Democratic group wrote.

Mob is STILL illegally protesting outside Kavanaugh’s home
The inflammatory and irresponsible rhetoric of Democrats and their media allies nearly led to what would have been a shocking act of violence against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after a plot to kill him failed on Wednesday. But despite the dangerous situation, protesters were allowed to march unimpeded in front of his home later in the day, a violation of federal law.
With the high court’s ruling in the Mississippi abortion case that could overturn Roe v. Wade rapidly approaching, the potential that unhinged individuals could act out against conservative justices and their families has become very real and the assassination mission of a California man who had very nasty plans for Kavanaugh and possibly his wife and their daughters should have merited some sort of response from Democrats to call off the dogs.
After he traveled across the country to find “purpose” in his life, 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske spilled his guts to the police admitting that he was furious at the Supreme Court over the possibility that Roe v. Wade could be upended, saying that he was furious that the landmark ruling could be overturned.
