Kickstarter Cover – Work in Progress

Things are moving along well this week. I’ve finished couple of Marvel covers, wrote several pages of script and I managed to work on my Kickstarter oil painting cover.

I’ve partnered up with John Flesk of Flesk Publications http://fleskpublications.com for this Kickstarter project to insure this book will be a top notch high quality book.

Here’s the unfinished cover so far. I’ve blocked in the background colors, and now it’s matter of of detailing and polishing the figure and background.

We’re launching the book on Kickstarter after Thanksgiving in 5 weeks. We’ll officially announce the book’s title then.

Running Scared

Sometimes when I do random sketches to relax or to help reset my mental focus, free from the pressures of deadlines, I would accidentally produce a delightful image full of energy and fun.

And this is one of them.

Here’s the latest Jungle Queen pin-up that I’ve sketched up. I’m going to ink it later. Depending on how it turns out, this may be the cover to my next convention art book.

LOKI: AGENT OF ASGARD cover

I’ve been cranking out bunch of covers for Marvel lately. One of the recent ones that I’ve finished is for the newly announced “Loki: Agent of Asgard” series. (Brilliantly colored by my trusty colorist, Jason Keith.)

I’m slated to do more variant colors and I’ll post the finished images as Marvel announces the projects.

I’ll also post more images of my creator-owned projects as I finish them. It’s a very full and exciting year for me. And 2014 is going to be insane.
