Hi, everyone,

You did it! There’s no turning back now. This book will happen! Thanks to your generosity and support, we’ve hit our goal to get this book into production. Frank is sharpening his pencils, preparing his brushes and perusing through the bra section of the Sears catalogue in preparation to creating new art that will help guide you toward being a semi-respectable girlie artist.

First Stretch Goal Announced

Now that our initial funding has been provided by all of you, we can focus on how we can take this book to a whole new level. To begin, we would like to announce our first two stretch goals. Frank would like to include a pair of detailed horizontal pen-and-ink pieces. To showcase these properly we need a set of gatefolds. (Or as Frank likes to call them “centerfolds”.) If we reach the $35K mark we will add one gatefold to the four editions which will increase the page count by four pages. If we hit the $40K mark, then a second gatefold will be added to increase the book by yet an additional four pages. This will be a 120 page book instead of the initially planned 112 pages! We have even more wild stretch goal ideas if these are achieved –most of them legal.

We’re both thrilled to have the opportunity to create this book. We couldn’t have done this without you and we’re grateful for your trust.

Greetings, everyone!

Thank you all for what has been an exciting first day of ourKickstarter campaign! We didn’t have any preconceived expectations as to how this would do, and we are thrilled with the support we have received so far. “You guys are da bomb”, as Frank eloquently stated. Thank you so much for your pledges and for the faith you have in us.

We’ve been receiving some comments asking about what our stretch goals will be, should we achieve our initial goal. We have also received some passionate messages explaining that some individuals would like to see a new tier above the $50 limited edition. We would like to share what we can for now and prepare you for some big news that is coming next week.

There are seven very cool stretch goals that we have in mind. The first one will be announced on Monday. The remaining six will be shared over the course of December. Each one of these additions or upgrades will, if reached, automatically transform your pledges into an even greater value.

Concerning the second topic of the new tiers above $50–we probably won’t have the details ready until a week from now. This idea that Frank came up with is a stunner. John is working on pricing and printing quotes to determine the costs and how to make it work. John will have the full details posted as soon as he can. At that time, we suspect some of you will want to upgrade your pledge level, and we’ll provide instructions to make it an easy process for you.

Thanks again to you all! We are hoping to bring you an instructional book that is unique, informative and highly entertaining, and that is also presented as a high end art book.
