New York Comic Con First Impressions

I haven’t been in New York Comic Con for 3 years and wow, have the show grown! It definitely rival San Diego Comic Con in attendance and excitement – More so in the excitement since the convention is in Manhattan, the city that never sleeps.
Truth be told, I was busy the entire time and I couldn’t walk around and actually see the show floor. Some of the aisles were so packed that I couldn’t walk down them. But I did manage to see some really cool toys and statues during the morning when I walked to my table.
There were some disorganization and confusion but a great show overall. And I hope to do it again next year.
Here’s one of the commissions that I finished at the show.

Jungle Queen Meets the T-Rex

Welp. I just finished the one of the convention commissions. The rest I’ll finish in New York.
This week has been a blur. I have loads of projects on deck and business meetings all week to insure everything is on track.
As I have mentioned before, look for a huge Kickstarter project announcement after Thanksgiving and another equally exciting news in early spring. (That’s the project that I’m doing with my buddy, Tom Sniegoski.)
Now I gotta do laundry and pack for my New York trip.
See you freaks in the Big Apple tomorrow.

New York Comic Con Prep

Working on my Marvel covers and my creator owned projects. I started working on my New York Comic Con commissions.
Here’s the pencil version of Red Sonja commission. I just started inking it since pencil turned out nicely. I’ll post the finished ink soon.
I’ll be setting up at the Artist Alley area Table BB1.
So when you’re in New York this weekend, stop on by and say hi. If you’re nice, I might show you some of my smutty art.
