“Ghost Dog” Progress Report

Frank Cho, codename: Ghost Dog, vampire

Decided to take a break from my other projects and focus all my attention on the “Ghost Dog” book that I’m doing with my buddy, Tom Sniegoski, this weekend. I forgot how great and strange this story is. Ghost dogs, energy vampires, demon in a stomach – Tom really outdid himself.

I’m laying out all the pages of our hero, Payne, fighting the weird and grotesque vampire. It’s fun to draw things that I’ve never drawn before, and I’ve drawn lot of twisted and uncommon things. The big climax at the end of this story is truly bizarre and exciting, setting things up nicely for more bizarre and exciting stuff to come.

I’ll post more art as things progress.

Jungle Queen Flying Bikini Thief

I can’t believe this damn weather. It’s up and down. Rain, snow, sunny and windy. I wish it would make up it’s mind already. Again, I spent most of the day writing and drawing due to the weather.

“Drawing Beautiful Women: The Frank Cho Method” book and “Ghost Dog” project occupied most of my time. But the most exciting thing happened during my lunch break – A new story idea. I was eating, watching TV and scribbling when a new sword and sorcery fantasy story idea just popped in my mind. It’s funny how new ideas pop up when you least expect it.

For the rest of the afternoon, I kept thinking about it and this germ of an idea just grew and grew until it became almost a whole story. I’m gonna let it percolate in my mind a

bit and let it grow some more but it’s real exciting. More later as the story unfolds.

Picture of the Day: It’s Jungle Queen getting her leather bikini stolen by those cheeky dinosaurs again. Yes, I know. I need help.
