Convention season is full upon us. I am getting ready for next weekend’s Emerald City Comic Con. (March 28 – 30) http://emeraldcitycomicon.com
I can’t believe that March is almost over and the comic convention season is in full swing. Despite my best effort, I will be doing my usual full convention schedule which I’ll post later.
Right now, trying to get this Baroness art print ready for the Emerald City Comicon. It’ll be signed and numbered by me and Brandon Peterson, limited to 250. And yes, I’ll be taking a short commission list of sketches at the show.
See you guys there.

London Super Comic Con Sketches
- FRANK CHO: Black Queen commission -click on image to view full-
Just flew back home last night from London Super Comic Con. Boy, was that a fun show. Good friends and great fans in a historic city.
I got to hang out with my buddies, Steve Morger, Arthur Adams, Joyce Chin, Adi Granov and his lovely wife Tamsil, Charlie Adlard, Ian Churchill, the ever happy Mark Buckingham and his lovely wife Irma, and many more. I even got to chat with my old pal, Howard Chaykin, between signings. London Super Comic Con is definitely going on my list of fun comic conventions to do.
Between signings, I’ve managed to draw several conventions. Here are few that I managed to take a picture of. I’ll try to find a better picture if I can.
And now on to Emerald City Comic Con, next week.
No rest for the wicked.

Green She-Hulk: Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

I love London. It’s one of my favorite cities in the world. So much history and so many interesting places to visit in this city by the water. I’ve been having a ball at this great European city since day one, traveling and sightseeing all week.
Being a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, the first place I visited was the Sherlock Holmes Museum on Baker Street. The museum was small but full of fun displays and recreations from the classic stories. I had a delightful time posing with various wax dummies in the museum.
The next place I visited was the Tate Britain Museum, not the Tate Modern Museum which is full of modern art garbage and bullshits. I wanted to see the beautiful J.C. Waterhouse’s “the Lady of Shalott”, one of the definitive 19th century British paintings for me. But I was horrified that they hung it so high to see it properly. I was annoyed and baffled that the museum curators placed lesser art at eye-level but placed few of the major pieces high on the wall so that no one can see them well and study the details. Despite some pitfalls, I’ve enjoyed most of what Tate Britain Museum had to offer.
After the convention on Sunday, we’re planning on doing the “Jack the Ripper” tour. Oh, the London Super Comic Con went very well also. ;-)
