Another sketch cover for fun. This time it’s She-Hulk versus non-stretching clothes. I enjoyed drawing the facial expression on this one. Drawing comical facial expression on a beautiful women is one of the hardest things to draw. But if done right and you catch that expression just so, it makes the whole cartoon better and the gag funnier.

I’m still trying to get over my creative block. Everything I’ve been drawing looks wrong recently. It might be the cold weather and the snow that has depressed my creative fire.
To help overcome my slump, I’ve decided to sketch more and work on these sketch covers for fun, to get the creative juices going. Prime the pump if you will. First up on the plate, Spider-Woman. The classic costume, not the bike messenger one.

At times, it seems my life is like that of a hamster wheel, constantly spinning and going nowhere. I’m currently juggling 3 projects right now: Skybourne, Marvel stuff and Liberty Meadows Sunday Collection Book 2. My hope is to get as much Liberty Meadows Sunday strips rescanned and recolored as much as possible before I get completely swamped Skybourne and Marvel stuff. I’m hoping to have the collection book out by this autumn.
Here’s the recent Sunday comic strip that I rescanned and recolored. I remember arguing with my editor to get this strip approved. I think I was showing too much skin for their taste. It’s funny when I think back now. Newspaper comics page was a surreal and restrictive business.
