Frank Cho’s Studio Tour

With the house being repaired and cleaned from aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I decided to give you guys a quick tour of my studio which is the main floor of my house.

The main family room is my painting area. I chose this room because of the great towering windows and large open space which can accommodate my giant canvases. As you can see, I’m currently working on several paintings at once. Well, “working” is not quite the right word. More like “dabbling” whenever I have some free time. Until I get more free time, all those paintings will remain unfinished for awhile.

Like the old saying goes - “Paintings are never finished, only abandoned”.

Adjacent to the painting room is my drawing studio. This is where I do all my comic book work and drawing. You can see all the Savage Wolverine pages scattered about. It’s also my computer station where I do all my writing and internet surfing. This is also the room where I spend most of my days. So I remembered to send extra on comfy chairs with good back support.

I’ll show you guys my library where I keep all my cool books and comics, next time.

For now, I have finish my Wolverine pages and get ready for my NC Comicon trip in Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend.

See some of you at the show.

After 3 weeks of hell dealing with Hurricane Sandy, house damage, insurance company, tree removal people and repair men, things are finally looking up. The repairs to the house are underway and insurance will cover pretty much everything. Now with things finally settling into normalcy of sort, I can actually focus on my Wolverine work again.

I’m devoting this entire weekend writing and drawing Wolverine so that I can get back on pre-Hurricane Sandy schedule. And you know what?- I’m having a blast.

Here’s a partial sneak peek of Savage Wolverine #3 cover.

Enjoy.

Enjoy.

I’ve been up all night watching the election unfold. So excited and proud of America for re-electing Obama as the President of the United States.

Needless to say, I’m exhausted. So instead of writing my latest blog, here’s the link to the giant Comic Book Resources interview/article of me that just came out yesterday: Frank Cho Unleashes A “Savage Wolverine”

Enjoy.
