What did I Change?
Hey guys! I hope you read the last blog post I put out. It was all about the Origins of King Midas. Click here if you want to read it first. Also, I feel like this is pointless, but still… spoilers ahead.

Alright! Now that that is taken care of, let’s get on with it.

I’ve been teasing this story since the first book in the series. The first significant change is, ironically, Amy herself. As I mentioned in the last post, Midas didn’t have a daugh...

Origins of King Midas
First off, thank you everyone who left a review for me. I was blown away by the support you’ve shown. If you haven’t picked up the free shorts yet, just follow this link to the Freebies page and download your copies. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Whoo! Midas is a trip to read up on. Greek myths are just… they are something special. So, let’s get started!

Back in ancient Phrygia—a district of Anatolia, or modern-day Turkey—there lived a king named Midas. Midas was an...

Well, the reviews are in and the second short is unlocked! Thank you guys for all your support! I often hear that people want more from Darena, so here it is! She won’t be in the next book (most likely), but she might in the following. Stay tuned and enjoy your short story!

Rivers of Gold is now available on Amazon! I’m so excited for you to read it! And, as always, if I get enough reviews, I will release two free short stories. This time, the goal is 14 and 17.
Go forth and read!

Midas made his daughter into an icon, a relic of living gold enshrined in a golden temple, fiercely defended, and ruthlessly isolated. She’s the perfect, spoiled princess. Or is she?
Amy lives in a gilded cage, and she knows it. Her father ensured that when she was only eight...

¡Punk-tuation‽
Hello, everyone! I’m back with another blog post. First though, thank you to everyone who made it out to SheaCon. It was so much fun to be asked, and I can’t wait to see what the planners think up for next year. If you haven’t filled out an exit survey, please do, and let me know what your favorite part of the event was by leaving a comment at the bottom of this post! Personally, I thought the Drawing with a Twist was hilarious, and I loved hearing from the other writers. Also, Rivers of Gold is...

It’s finally here! Rivers of Gold is available for pre-order and will be released August 14th!

Midas made his daughter into an icon, a relic of living gold enshrined in a golden temple, fiercely defended, and ruthlessly isolated. She’s the perfect, spoiled princess. Or is she?
Amy lives in a gilded cage, and she knows it. Her father ensured that when she was only eight. Whoever decided it was smart to give a king the ability to turn anything he touched into gold was a fool. She may not...

Anniversary News
Happy Monday! I have a big announcement, but first, some context.
As some of you know, today is the third anniversary of The Salamander Prince. It has been a wild few years and I can’t even begin to say how thrilled I am for all the support you have given me. I’m far from a massive success, but I feel like one. In January, I was able to officially call writing my part-time job—which means I’m actually making money at it, not just doing it as a hobby—and I plan to continue writing for the fore...
