Entering the Final Stretch!

Just wanted to give you a little status update: I got my notes back from my beta readers! It took longer than I expected, so hopefully there won’t be too many changes. I’ll let you know a firm release date when I have one.

No, that title is not a typo. I had a random thought while taking a break from edits, and I started thinking about cat’s pyjamas.

Snow Queen Short

I promised and here it is! I finished editing the last short for The Snow Queen. It is 60 pages and qualifies as a novella, technically. If it seems a bit rushed to you, that’s because I could easily have turned it into a full-length novel. I just didn’t want to. That would take a ton more time and I already have quite a few projects on the docket.

Status Update Sunday!

Well… mostly.

I just finished the line edit on RFT 8 and sent it off to my betas. I should receive it back in about a week, but it is pretty much done. The next step is working on the shorts and the cover and then getting it sent to my ARC readers.

As for the Snow Queen short, I am almost finished but I wanted to get this done asap. Hopefully, I’ll have it done tomorrow or Tuesday.

The short of it is…

Sorry about the delay, but the final Snow Queen short story is on its way. I have it written already but I need to do some final edits before I upload it. Just a warning, it may take another week to get that done. I am working on line edits for the current book, going through proofreader edits for a past book and now need to edit a not-so-short story as well. Oh, yeah, this one is about 50 pages. You read that right, 50 pages! I apparently didn’t know when to stop.

For those of you who aren’t sure what I’m talking about, I have a checklist that I create of things I need to fix in my story. Life Update

Alright, folks! Thank you to all of those who answered the poll questions. A whopping 92% of you wanted more updates and 42% wanted more random musings, so I’m sort of combining them today.
