Advent Day 7

Alright, no creepy fog today. Just something more in line with my YA style. Enjoy!

Advent Day 6

I was having trouble falling asleep the other night and decided to write this while watching the fog steal through my neighborhood. Just a warning, it is a little on the creepy side. I hope you like it. Let me know in a comment what you think.

Advent day 5

Now for something a little lighter, you might even call it breezy. It isn’t 5 golden rings—and yes, I know that is something different from Advent—but I certainly enjoyed writing it.

Advent Day 4

For those of you who don’t know, I love the Cape High series by R.J. Ross. Her stories are so much fun! So, I decided to try my hand at it. Special shout out to Whit for helping me with some technical stuff. Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Advent Day 3

It’s day 3 and time for a little Sci-fi. I love the genre but never feel confident writing a whole book. I will one day, but for now, I’ll have to be happy with just these shorts.

Nano and Beyond!

Happy December, everyone!

Two points of interest for you. Firstly, NaNo is officially over! I won, hitting 50k, but still need to finish the book. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of editing this time. Sorry. I could be wrong, but I’m guessing I’ll be ready to release sometime in February at the earliest. But, that brings me to the next part:

You don’t have to wait until February for something fun! In honor of the month with possibly the most holidays ever, I’m doing an Advent Calenda...

Life Update: October Edition

Hey guys! I know I go quiet during the times in between books, but I’m going to try and get better about that. So, I thought I could give you an update on my life/projects, at the very least. Let’s start with what you really want to know…

Project update:

RFT 10 is being plotted! I’m using a different character building method this time, so it’s taking longer, but I’m really pleased with everything so far. It will be my novel for NaNo this year, but I may start early, depending on how every...

Surviving

Welcome back, guys. Warning, this post will discuss the relationships between the characters in Rivers of Gold, including the abuse they suffered. I’m mostly going to focus on the emotional trauma, so beyond a few mentions of physical abuse, I won’t be unpacking that topic.

As I mentioned last post, this story really sprang from the question, “What do you do when everything you want is personified in a single person?” Midas was obsessed with gold. His daughter was harmed by that obsession, bu...
