How to hear the voice of your soul

Have you ever really thought about your soul? I’ve always been so interested in the journey of the soul and how our souls actually influence our lives. When we take the time to slow down and listen to our soul, it’s amazing how much wisdom comes through.

I believe that most of us have lived many lives before and that these past-life experiences impact who we are today.

I’ve created a free four-part Soul Calling Series to help you form a deep connection with your soul, so you can discover more about where you come from and who you really are as a soul.

That is not God

To anyone who feels excluded by God, THAT IS NOT GOD.

To anyone who has been made to feel unholy, THAT IS NOT HOLY.

Thousands of years ago the Bhakti Kirtan movement began when the Indian poet saints gathered the lower caste people in villages around India (who were not allowed in the temples because of their status) to sing God’s name. To have a personal and collective experience of God. To get drunk on the divine essence and nectar that exists WITHIN ALL PEOPLE. AND ALL BEINGS. We all deserve that. We all have access to that. Christ stood for that. All of the great mystics did. And anyone who thinks they have the power to control that is, in my belief, missing the point and disconnected from this sweet sweet nectar. God, spirit, the divine spark, EXISTS WITHIN ALL OF US.

We can have a direct relationship if we choose to. And while organised structure can be absolutely amazing, you do not need an institution to connect with this nectar. It exists within each and every one of us. Start your own place of worship in the temple of your own heart. That is the most holy place of all. And if you are called to worship in an organised way, may we welcome all to join us.

Have you had a past life in Atlantis?

First referenced by Plato and then psychics such as Edgar Cayce, the search for Atlantis is much discussed. Many have devoted their lives and everything they have to discovering this lost treasured land. It is thought that the continent of Atlantis was bigger than Asia and that it existed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Greek Philosopher Plato first mentioned Atlantis in his works: The Times and Criteas. He referenced it as a marvel of architecture. A city made up of a series of concentric circles surrounded by moats of water in the middle of the sea. In the center of the city was a temple to the God of the sea – Poseidon.

The Atlanteans are thought to have been an extremely technologically advanced group of people. It has been suggested that the technology to build the pyramids of Egypt and the Americas, and the megaliths of Europe came from Atlantis. And that the Atlanteans had communication with the wider cosmos and connection with beings from other planets.

Legend says that as technology advanced, the Atlanteans become more and more greedy and corrupt, struggling over money and power and it was brought to an end by a tidal wave which caused the continent of Atlantis to sink into the sea. I see Atlantis as a place of polarity and great power. There was a high state of consciousness and they knew much more than we do now but are starting to remember.

Most accounts suggest that Atlantis was destroyed by a series of natural disasters including earthquakes and floods… and that the continent exists to this day under the sea in the Atlantic, however this lost continent has never been found.

Have you had a past life in Lemuria?

Have you had a past life in Lemuria? Lemuria or Mu is believed to have been a continent where heaven really was a place on Earth. The Lemurians are thought of as a peaceful, highly intelligent race of people that existed millions of years ago. In Lemuria, life worked in harmony, all beings were seen as equal and we were deeply reverent to Mother Earth. All knew that a mosquito was no worse than them and the sun no better.

In the 19th century, biologists discovered that there was similar flora and fauna in southern India and Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) and southern Africa. Philip L Schattler proposed the idea of a land bridge between southern India and southern Africa that many then believed was the lost continent of Lemuria.

It is believed that Lemuria or Mu existed where the Pacific Ocean is now and potentially the Indian Ocean too, with pockets of places such as Hawaii, South Pacific Islands, Easter Island, Fiji, New Zealand, Asia, Australia and into the Indian oceans, holding the frequency of Lemuria still today. I was called to spend extended time on Kauai – Hawaii’s oldest island, and one that some people believe still holds the frequency and could have possibly been the capital of Lemuria itself. I feel this Lemurian frequency when I am in places like this. Especially when I am in crystal clear water.

I believe that the first wave of Starseeds to come to Earth lived on the continent of Lemuria. My soul’s memory of Lemuria is one of crystal-clear waters and crystal mountains. With juicy fruit and breathtaking flowers. A paradise, garden-of-Eden type of feeling. Where we were at one with nature and saw everything around us as sentient beings. We communicated with trees, flowers and animals. The beings of Lemuria had special gifts. All were healers. All were team orientated and focused on one love. A soul family type vibe. We were shapeshifters with an ability to change form, using telepathy and were able to move in a similar way to whales, dolphins and birds, both on the land, through the air and the water.

Many myths speak of there being a great flood or cataclysm which brought about the end and sinking of Lemuria. Some went into the ocean and shapeshifted into whales, dolphins and the Mer (Mermaids). Others went underground into tunnels deep in the earth. Others became the stone people. And others fled to other lands (such as Atlantis, Avalon and Ancient Egypt, which we will speak about soon). Those that survived went on undercover attempting to integrate with the rest of the planet. It is thought that the Lemurians became the shamans and healers of the globe, sharing their healing gifts and passing them on. This may be why so many of the world’s religions, lineages and healing modalities are so similar when you break them down in essence, because they came from the same place… Lemuria. Some believe that there is a Lemurian civilization living within and underneath Mount Shasta, a volcano  in California.

It is thought that at the end of the age of Lemuria, the Lemurians did what they could to store the wisdom and did so by coding it stones and crystals. When I was in Kauai I crossed paths with a shaman who was trained by a lineage of Kauai shamans, she took me to ancient Lemuria guardian stones that held so much wisdom in them.

Perhaps you too believe that heaven really can be a place on Earth. Perhaps you are part of the transition team who at soul level are devoted to creating this kind of harmony on the planet now. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the state of affairs on the planet right now, but you are being encouraged to keep holding the clear vision of the future; it is closer than you think.

You may be guided to hold the frequency of Lemuria in your own community, family, workplace, or within yourself. Know that it is possible, and while at times it may feel like you are alone, you truly are not. There are hundreds of thousands who hold the codes of this ancient lost land. Keep doing what you are doing and remember: The only way to heal the world around us is to first heal ourselves.

Have you had a past life in Avalon?

Avalon is perhaps the most recent lost land, thought to exist on the continents of the UK, Ireland and parts of Europe. It is said that Avalon is the place where King Arthur was taken after being deeply wounded in battle. Some believe it was a physical place, others believe it to be a mystical place of healing and others believe that it still exists in the “otherworld” today.

Avalon was mentioned and popularised in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s ‘In History of the Kings of Britain’, (1100–1154) which while it is a work of fiction it is believed to be based on Celtic folktales and Authurian legends. It was popularized more recently with Marion Zimmer Bradley’s book The Mists of Avalon.

Often referred to as “the isle of Avalon”, some sources say that Avalon exists off the coast of Great Britain, or “across the sea”. Many believe that the town of Glastonbury in Somerset, England is one of the locations of where Avalon existed with other communities also existing in Cornwall, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Arran, an island off the coast of Scotland, has also been considered a possible model for Avalon. And if you visit the UK’s Glastonbury today, you will read “Welcome to Glastonbury, the ancient Isle of Avalon”. 

When you approach Glastonbury you can see the Glastonbury Tor from a great distance. The Tor is a significant hill where the Mary and Michael leylines meet and is referred to as the Heart Chakra of the planet. Many travelers report that they can feel the special energy of this land… as if Avalon still exists in the “otherworld” on this site today.

It is believed that Avalon was a Mother God civilization where all were in service to the great mother. Worshiping the earth and her seasons, much of the Avalonian tradition can be seen in the Celtic and druid lineages and traditions today.

Time is not running out

Like so many I’ve spent the past year or so focusing on healing my nervous system. And it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done! I remember a few years back when I realised that my ability to endure, push through and react to urgency had been my superpower.

As the years pass on I see the great cost that way of living has on us. Anything that is not sustainable is not good for anyone in the long run. But admitting and being willing to release an old way of being that once served us so well is no easy feat. And so the unwinding begins.

In our loud, reactive world where instant response is so often expected and at times even a currency, it can feel almost impossible to take a breath, let alone give ourselves the space to rest and reset. Conversations that should be had heart to heart are flung via comment, email and text. It seems that everyone has anxiety these days, constantly scanning our phones for something we might have missed.

Keeping our minds and bodies pointed in the same direction as our souls is near impossible at such reactive speeds.

One thing I’m practicing at the moment, when things feel urgent and I’m reaching to old ways of being instead of going slow and letting the new ground form before me, is the repetition of this mantra: ‘Time is not running out’.

Time is not running out. Because it’s not.

And what I am slowly discovering is that no matter what happens today, or what doesn’t happen today… If it’s truly important and truly for me to deal with, it will be there tomorrow, and often, God will work it out for me while I sleep.

Only you know what is true for you

When you put the opinions of others above what you know to be true. When you make the mistake of taking your pulse from someone else’s feelings. When you catch yourself beginning to believe what strangers say about you. When you let the energy of the external world question your innocence. When you feel yourself absorbing other’s unfelt emotions and mistaking them for your own. Say: I am not that. That is not who I am. And merge with the infinity of who and what you truly are.

The Initiation

Rite of passage. You’re going somewhere sacred.

Initiations require that we cross the threshold from one world or state of being to the next. We are called to face what scares us and have to be willing to lose it all, in order to gain a new way of being, of safety, of security, of depth, of meaning.

Initiations, like rites of passage, mark the shift from one age to the next, and can take place because of emotional turmoil, great loss, grief, or devastation. But it is through the seeming hardship that our heart cracks open and our spirit is invested to step forward. We take the sacred voyage into more of who we are and who we came here to be. It can be painful and scary, but once we begin the journey, we can be more ourselves than ever before.

If you are in the middle of an initiation right now, you will get through it and one day soon, you will bless the thing that broke you down and cracked you open because the world needs you open. You are going somewhere sacred. It will be worth it. And you’re closer than you think.

A temple of the Goddess Isis

A photo extract from my diary from my incredible trip through the sacred sites of ancient Egypt. Thank you to my guides. 

Like the best journeys that our soul leads us on, we hadn’t planned to come here. I am so deeply glad we did. Our local guide led us to this humble temple in the middle of the desert. Out in the open for all to see but easily overlooked by those who did not know what they were looking for. I’ve found many of the most sacred places are like this. As if they are guarded in their simplicity. Like many of the Black Madonna chapels I have visited. A place of alchemy. 

It is believed that many of the black Madonnas scattered across Europe are symbols of great mother Isis herself. Many believe that Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene were part of this order of priestesses. The energy was subtle yet palpable. From the moment we approached I felt my body exhale in the familiar relief of arriving after journeying so long. 

After praying to the Great Mother Isis together as a group, @starchildtarot and I were led in the dark my heart beat along with the bright pulse of devotion that was held in each stone brick that made up each hidden chamber. It felt like an ancient soul home that many women of devotion had gathered from lands far away. Each answering a soul whisper to meet in a prearranged moment in time, led solely by the map etched in the chambers of their hearts. A meeting place. A safe haven. A place to drink deep from the sweet waters of the Mother. And to get intoxicated by the heights of spirit. A place where souls were recognised. A place like that can only be seen by the heart, felt for thousands of years and worth a million steps.
