SPIRIT ATTACHMENT: WHEN SPIRIT COMMUNICATION GOES AWRY
For those following my posts on my spirit communication and experiences (many of which are in my book How to Talk With Spirits: Séances• Mediums • Ghost Hunts), I'll write a downside of it. Especially as Hallo Eve (Halloween) and Day of the Dead draw closer and the veils between the two worlds drop and spirits are free to walk the earth.
How a spirit attachment happened to me: Exhausted from book success I crashed and in the course of recovering found a spirit attached to my body.
When the paperback version of book was released in April 2017 I was inundated with invitations to speak at book party events where I read an excerpt and answer questions.
Then I lead a group meditation with the hope of contacting deceased loved ones and would add, "If the spirit moves me, I'll share."
Well, I of all people, a seasoned medium, should have known that wasn't a good statement to make. Eager to contact living loved ones spirits lined up. Almost every guest, if not all, received a message.
If you've seen the movie "Ghosts" where Whoopi Goldberg is burden with so many spirits waiting in line to talk to the living, that's what it was like. "Me, me, me next!"
With the almost weekly events through May and July I became so exhausted mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually - not sleeping well, eating badly, trying to keep up with book party requests and most importantly not meditating and cleansing my energy enough!
I took a couple of months off and delayed book events.
To Heal: My massage therapist and acupuncturist are very aware how to work with me, a psychic/medium. First I went for a massage where an attachment was discovered in my lower back. As soon as she pushed on that area I FELT and then saw a dark energy of a vampire entity.
As the therapist dug deeply (ouch!) I literally felt a great release. But not entirely hence after to my acupuncturist where it finally dissipated. I refocused on my self care and am free of that entity!
It's not the first time those dark entities have tried to invade me, my then young son and my space but and I've always stopped them with NO!! and I SEE you! (they don't like that).

Where did I pick the attachment up? First know that you, me, spirits and entities are all energy - energy that floats around and attracts and deflects.
I believe the attachment happened at two book parties: one where overwhelming s grief and emotional chaos prevailed. Murder and suicide victims, early infant deaths. In the chaos my psychic energy frayed as I channeled information. At the next one, same weekend a guest told of an evil spirit in a home during her childhood where her father committed suicide. I had already pulled in this entity now added to its energy.
If you open to spirit communication, take care before and after: mediate, and cleanse self and place you are entering. Do not invite spirits to "touch you" as I've heard a medium do. Even a spirit you think is friendly or believe is a loved one might not be. If you think you have an attachment or see dark shadows lurking around and feel frightened, contact a professional medium. SPIRIT MESSAGES FOR HEALING & ENCOURAGEMENT
What can the living gain from messages from the dead?
Since May 1, 2017 release of my book, How To Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts invitations to speak at groups continue with inspiring and lovely messages from spirits.
Messages can mend relationships after death, encourage an idea to help heal and confirm one is on the right track in life.
Would you be willing to heal a broken relationship with a person who hurt you but is no longer alive?
"High heels", said I to a woman directly across from me. "Your mother is here" S
The woman responded, "I didn't get along with my mother. I don't want to hear from her."
I listened to the spirit, "She wants to thank you for helping her with shoes." The woman, who was between maybe a believer, maybe not, gasped. "My feet were bigger than hers so I'd break her shoes." I told her, her mother was thankful - something the woman felt her mother never was for all she had done. The woman needed time to process the message.
Would you take advice from the beyond?
Georgie Boy. A man, older - like maybe a grandfather." A guest said, my grandfather was named George although she never heard him to referred to as Georgie Boy. I gave her the message anyway. It had to do with wind chimes that could help heal her (she had a few years of serious health issues.) The woman was uncertain if the spirit was her grandfather because of the "boy" in the name. A few days later she contacted me; her research with older relatives confirmed her grandfather was called Georgie Boy by his older sisters. She said also, "I was just been in a store when someone moved wind chimes and the sound caught my attention. It is very soothing to me. Could that type of sound have a healing quality to it?"
According to her grandfather, it does.
Can a spirit confirm you're on the right track?
This spirit had been with me for days before the book event.
I turned to my far right to a woman to describe the spirit who'd appear to me the past few days: a lovely round faced woman with beautiful skin, dark hair sort of crimped, wavy at the side - older style hair do. The spirit wanted the woman to know she is happy the woman was keeping up her education and how well she was doing in her job. The woman was living the kind of life the spirit when alive would have loved. She offered the woman a "sweetie. A lollipop (the spirit's words)."
The woman said, "I could really relate to the message as I recently had gone back to school, graduated and got a job promotion." It new it was a grandmother who passed away 12 years ago that she had been close with. Education had been very important to her grandmother and she had always wanted her children and grandchildren to do well with it.
Although the woman could relate to "sweetie" as her grandmother called a treat, she couldn't relate to lollipop - not a word her grandmother used.
Later email: "After leaving you I stopped for tea and a particular dessert. They were out of it. I settled on a "cake pop", which I never had before. Later I realized it was made to look kind of like a lollipop."
Sometimes we need time to see how the messages from the spirit world fits into our lives.

SAN FRANCISCO GHOST PLAYS. MORE THAN SPOOKY. FROM THE HEART.
GHOST PLAYS - SIX MINI PLAYS OF SAN FRANCISCO'S GHOST STORIES.
I was taken aback at the excellence of GhostPlays. It tells the sad tale in six short stories about the spirits of those who died tragically in San Francisco and continue to seek answers and loved ones. "Remember me. Don't forget me," says one ghost.
GhostPlays ends today 7/30/17 after the 2 p.m. matinee. I wished it wasn't over. I wish the plays went on for more to enjoy. The acting was truly superb. My two friends and I were brought to tears a few times as the sad tales unfolded. Each play, different ghosts, shows historical places in San Francisco.
Karen Brynes GhostPlay Producer & me.Karen Byrnes, not new to putting on stage plays, but from the comments of her fans this play is her finest. She says writing the stories was encouraged by her brother, Bob, who passed away two years ago.
People are MOST interested in talking about spirits, and ghostly happenings thus are curious about me as a medium. "Do I see a spirit around them?" - "How do I know the difference between a spirit and ghost hunting?" and so forth.
Since I started my book tours with the debut of the paperback version of "How to Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts, I've answered questions and listened to many spirit and ghost stories from attendees.
After the play Karen invited me to give a short talk about ghosts and the audience kindly stayed to listen. Ying Liu, the producer of The Haunted Bay Paranormal Investigation was a member of the cast, came to stand with me as we discussed our findings of ghosts in various San Francisco historical locations.

SPELL TO GATHER POWER FOR NEW- IT'S ONLY CHANGE.
People are always creating new possibilities new experiences, new paths.
When you step out and commitment to your change, that which you hope opens up a different or new life, other opportunities, you can come to realize you, not only are you changing mentally, but even within your entire being - as though your DNA is changing through this new experience.
A few blogs ago I shared a spell I did for my new role with my Rosicrucian Order aka AMORC group to take a different role/position. Now that I'm into it, I realized how much more dedication is needed, and how not only unwilling duties but accepting that I'm rapidly changing in many ways, thus another ritual/spell was in order.
During my year as an AMORC San Francisco's monthly group leader I had to prepare a talk for the monthly meetings and do the members' ritual. It took prep work and some time. This was all through the illness and subsequent death of my mother. It truly became a time to walk my talk spiritually. My duties and studies gave me a sense of stability and calmness - much needed to get through one of the most saddest and energy consuming times of my life - the death of my beautiful, loving mother.
In my latest book, "How to Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts" I write about her long goodbye and our parting and what I learned about myself and her.
Now with my new role/position I find a different aspect of my duties - a greater focus and interaction with various members outside my SF group. I more energy and acceptance of my new role where other members, previously unknown to me are in contact. Therefore, I decided to do another spell was in order.
What I am creating now is truly a greater change. I'll say an elevated awareness of my power to influence. Kind of a more serious commitment and realizing one must be true to self if serving others kind of position. Growing in me is a confidence that comes when you know your life is on track - one you are meant to be living.
Perhaps you will think of opening to your power of whatever position you've taken on - realizing how it not only is shaping you, your life but those of others.

GATHER POWER
During a waxing (growing toward full) moon after sunset, light a yellow candle.
Place yellow flowers in a vase with water. Place fresh ginger root next to the flowers. You might want to light incense and/or add a crystal or bowl of water (for visions).
For as long as you wish sit quietly and reflect upon the beauty before you, flickering candle, breathe, relax, enjoy.
Now think of, and connect to, your personal spiritual guardian be that an angel, guide, a loved one in spirit or a living sage/teacher who champions your progress. This could be God, All Intelligence, Buddha, Goddess, Allah. When you have decided, call upon your spiritual guardian to join you as you prepare for life changes and new experiences.
Say Aloud:
I cleanse my sacred space through my ability to call in only positive and helpful spiritual guides and teachers.
I am safe.
I call in the elements of air, fire, water and earthto support my visions yet to manifest.
I join with the power of the universe to expand and enhance my connection to that which has always been and will always be.
In the Universal flow and energy.
I open to my power in all forms within all possibilities.
I step forward bravely to fulfill known and unknown karma, willingly release old karma and identities that no longer serve my spiritual advancement. Create new karma through my new understanding of purpose and path.
With the greater good, I ask that this be done.
So Mote it Be.
And so it is.
Let the candle burn as long as you like. Dispose of the ginger root on the full moon in the earth.

I HAD A DREAM! Foretold my future. Dream Meditation Ritual
DREAM - VISION - WHERE WILL IT TAKE YOU?
Sharing a long ago dream that revealed my future plus my latest radio interview about why I wrote four books.
I had a dream, literally, many years ago that one day I'd share
inspiring words and offer information for people to think beyond
their preconceived limitations and live fully in their unique powers.In the dream I stood on a stage encouraging others to see with their psychic eye, to developed their telepathic abilities, to believe in their intuition. But the dream was so powerful that when I awoke I recorded it on paper never knowing how, why and where it would take me.
When I had this dream I was a single mother pulling pennies together to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. To dream about being on stage talking to a big audience seemed, well, silly. What would I offer? Why would people want to hear me? Wasn't I being silly?
Since then I've written four books, two screenplays, taught many about psychic development, tarot cards and much more in the spiritual metaphysical arena. I've been invited to lecture on stage, present my experiences on TV shows and my favorite be a guest on many radio programs! My latest radio interview link is below.
Do we always get what we set out for? No. As a Life Coach (1997) and for over forty years conducting psychic readings for people across the USA and diverse parts of the world I've just about heard every dream and every reason why people give up on their dreams.
Not smart enough overly intelligent, no one gets me, I'm too different, don't fit in, too responsible for others, too old, too young, too fat, too thin, not educated enough, wrong sex, wrong color, wrong time, wrong, wrong, wrong....
It's easier to tell why you didn't accomplish what you hoped for than realize if you kept to it much will be revealed. If you had the faith and willingness to keep an open mind during the process, taking small or big at times, steps you would/will learn more about yourself (fears and strengths) and realize opportunities come along for those who are willing to explore.
What is your dream? Following your dream can take you many places and teach you much about your wonderful self, your very own abilities and talents, the world, places you hadn't considered to explore, people you hadn't thought were helpful, teachers, interesting.
Here's an easy meditation for staying in the glow of your hopeful heart:
Sit quietly in a space you won't be bothered by people, pets or phones.
Place a budding flower in front of you, a white candle and a colored one (yellow is inspiring, red is motivating, blue is encouraging and so forth). You can add an image of what you are ready to accomplish by placing it front of you. And/or place a mirror to gaze into your eyes (at a height that is comfortable to do so).
Now, relax - take a breather - slow nice rhythmic breathing, shake away the day, mentally see your dream, your wish, your goal as clearly as you can and/or look at your image.
Say Aloud:My heart is full of hopeMy mind is clearMy soul is inspiredMy spirit createsI manifest my visionWith faith as I walk the pathready for whatever and whomeverI meet on it to be part of my journeyto realize my vision.As it takes form, I take form, transcedningchallenges, transformingto my true self.May this or somethingbetter happen in my life.So Mote it be.
Stay a while, enjoy the flickering candle flame. Snuff the candle out before you leave your special space. Let the flower open in the days to come. When it has reached its zenith and petals drop return it to the earth or place in a moving body of water.
You can repeat this two more times, but don't look back. Meaning, don't dwell upon when will this manifest? How? Who? And all those I have to hang on to making it happen. Just take steps forward, do what you can to manifest it and keep the faith.

Place a budding flower in front of you, a white candle and a colored one (yellow is inspiring, red is motivating, blue is encouraging and so forth). You can add an image of what you are ready to accomplish by placing it front of you. And/or place a mirror to gaze into your eyes (at a height that is comfortable to do so).
Now, relax - take a breather - slow nice rhythmic breathing, shake away the day, mentally see your dream, your wish, your goal as clearly as you can and/or look at your image.
Say Aloud:My heart is full of hopeMy mind is clearMy soul is inspiredMy spirit createsI manifest my visionWith faith as I walk the pathready for whatever and whomeverI meet on it to be part of my journeyto realize my vision.As it takes form, I take form, transcedningchallenges, transformingto my true self.May this or somethingbetter happen in my life.So Mote it be.
Stay a while, enjoy the flickering candle flame. Snuff the candle out before you leave your special space. Let the flower open in the days to come. When it has reached its zenith and petals drop return it to the earth or place in a moving body of water.
You can repeat this two more times, but don't look back. Meaning, don't dwell upon when will this manifest? How? Who? And all those I have to hang on to making it happen. Just take steps forward, do what you can to manifest it and keep the faith.

DREAM - VISION - WHERE WILL IT TAKE YOU?
I'm sharing a dream that showed me where I was going in life and adding a recent radio interview about why I wrote four books.
I had a dream many years ago that one day I'd inspire and teach people, many people to think beyond their preconceived limitations to live with a greater sense of their unique powers, rely upon their psychic impressions to guide them in life and be fulfilled..
When I had my dream I was a single mother pulling pennies together to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
To dream about me being on stage talking to an audience seemed, well, silly. What would I offer? Why would people want to hear me? Was that it, just a dream?
It's easier to say why you didn't accomplish what you hoped for than think if you kept to it, didn't give up, had greater faith, much would be revealed.
In the dream I stood on a stage encouraging others to see with their psychic eye, to developed their telepathic abilities. But the dream was so powerful that when I awoke I recorded it on paper never knowing how, why and where it would take me.I kept those notes until I was standing before a group at a podium, before my classes began to fill up, before so much manifested.
Since then I've written four books, two screenplays, taught many about psychic development, tarot, been invited to lecture on stage, on a couple of TV talk shows and my favorite, interviewed many times on the radio! Please listen to my latest radio interview, see link below.
As a Life Coach and for over forty years conducting psychic readings for clients across the USA and diverse parts of the world I've just about heard all the dreams, hopes, goals and as well as why people can't achieve them:
too old, too young, too fat, too thin, not educated enough, overly educated, no money, too responsible for others, a disorder (many to chose from) that doesn't support success/change, wrong sex, wrong color, wrong day, wrong time, wrong, wrong, wrong....
I say stop it!
Do we always get what we set out for? No.
But know this! In the process of taking steps toward what we hope will be our dream come true life we learn more about ourselves and open the doors to opportunities perhaps never thought of before.
Remember stay flexible, keep an open mind when reaching for that dream, and don't lose faith.

Here's an easy meditation for staying in the glow of your hopeful heart:
Sit quietly in a space you won't be interrupted by people, pets or phones.

NEW YOU: NEW LIFE ROLE INITIATION SPELL
Throughout life there are times we take on new and different roles. Sometimes they come with a title identifying who and what we are professionally and personally.
A time of reflect in the way of a spell for those different path and new roles can give greater insights to ourselves and the journey. Below is an initiation spell to give a clarity spiritually while preparing us for the actual physical events yet to unfold.
Recently in my AMORC - Rosicrucian Order I was asked to step up to a title position Now, I'm not crazy about titles, especially ones with high praises, but I accepted the position although it means more time and work. I accepted because my life - spiritual and wordly has changed for the better from the teaching of this fellowship (it's not a religion).
Am I up for this titled role? Can I truly be of value? In my questioning I realized clearing myself of doubt and concerns will allow for greater acceptance that yes, it is time for me to raise my consciousness to higher plane and serve humanity in some positive way.
I am preparing to to sit at my altar with this initiation spell.

SUMMER OF LOVE
HAVE YOU BEEN EXPERIENCED?
Ah! But are you experienced?
Have you ever been experienced?
Not necessarily stoned, but beautiful...

I was experienced during that historical time and yes it was groovy and far out!!
Recently, I went to the Summer of Love (1967) art exhibition at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Many memories flooded back. If you get a chance, go - wear a flower in your hair, trip out to the music and art. .
It blew my mind that I actually lived that experience so many are curious about and interested in.
A time and place in history where all who wanted were free to experience beyond what society told them to be.
I was living in San Francisco before and after the Summer of Love and was part of the Haight/Ashbury scene. Both my novels reflect the changing environs - "City of Redemption" (set in San Francisco during the Summer of Love. Read more about it below) and "The Skye in June"(1950's to 1964- the early days of "the movement" as it was called) give the reader a view of social and political changes during those times.
Summers in San Francisco are usually foggy and windy with sunny days here and there. That didn't keep the flower children from dancing, often near naked, in streets and Golden Gate park for the free concerts.
Could I tell you some tales, but....perhaps through my novel you'll get the vibe.
My book, "City of Redemption" is an enthralling story about the historical turbulent days of the 1960's free sex, drugs, rebellion and murder. Set in San Francisco during the Summer of Love the story's voice gives vivid color and power to an unforgettable time and place in history.
Flower power ignites into firepower when a lonely young woman entangles herself in a treacherous plot and murder during the Summer of Love.
As fun and peace making as it was, it wasn't all love and flowers in the hair - oh no! The strong plot and dialogue of City of Redemption exposes the seldom seen seedy side of the Summer of Love.
Partly to blame for her young son's death, Liz flees Scotland to San Francisco. She wants to lose herself with free love among the groovy people. Instead, she is unwittingly drawn into the dark underbelly of violence and addiction with a callous drug-dealer and a treacherous plot to bring down the Black Panthers. Her unlikely friendship with Black Panther Toni Bordeaux, leads Liz to redemption for her shameful past.

San Francisco
From the Haight to Eureka Valley
July 11 1967 – Midday
MIDWAY DOWN THE 33 Ashbury bus, Liz sat forlornly, looking out the window at the dreary San Francisco summer fog. Uncombed hair hung loosely around her face and landed on the shoulders of a wrinkled, white peasant blouse. She wore no make-up. Two teen girls sitting in front of her laughed about the stories they told to get out of school for the day. The girls, like so many young people coming from the suburbs for the day to be part of the action, lied to their parents about their whereabouts. Then they complained about how they hadn’t expected such cold weather in the summer, and wished they’d dressed warmer. Both wore light cotton blouses, long flowing skirts and sandals. Liz realized she didn’t feel the cold. She didn’t really feel much of anything except the growing need to make some money. Her bellbottom jeans, slung low on her hips, were tattered from constant wear. Patting the large leather bag on her lap, she thought of the red-beaded earrings she’d made that morning, hoping somebody would buy them today.
... the parade of people dressed in tie-dyed tee shirts, jeans, long flowing dresses, and flowered wreaths. Here and there bare chests were painted with blue and red paint or big flowers. They were too stoned to feel the fog’s damp sprinkles. Banging on pots, they danced around wildly, and waved placards reading MAKE LOVE NOT WAR and U.S. OUT OF VIETNAM. Laughing and singing they were oblivious to the blocked traffic.
