Caught Without A Good Read
Today waiting for my mother at her doctor, I was caught without a book. Sure there were magazines and newspapers, but I have three books - good ones too! - that I'm reading. I yearned to know what my "friends" (in my books) were thinking, feeling, doing...all awaiting my attention. Commissario Guido Brunetti (Dressed for Death) had just learned some vital juicy piece of information over penne rigate with a touch of pepperoncino about the transvestitie whore murdered with red heels. My imagination wandered away from murder to a scary story in progress. Kinky had her listeners perched on the edge of their seats, the wee dear Irish kids, waiting to hear if the "Shee" would indeed come after Connor (An Irish Country Girl by Patrick Taylor - my goodreads win.) Connor did seem the kind of man that wouldn't be scared away by an old Irish superstitious folklore. I think. Sharply in my mind's eye came the cover of the "The Oulander", Gil Adamson. The snow, deep and plenty and the young woman trudging through it - I really tried not to start for afterall two books are reads enough - but with that opening - "It was night, and dogs came through the trees, unleashed and howling." I mean, wouldn't you want to know what or who they were after? Alas there I was without my friends -- my books! A lesson learned, don't leave home without a book. The wait was long and boring.

LET GO, MOVE ALONG-FOLLOW THE RAINBOW
I AM FROM THE BELIEF OF NEVER, EVER GIVE-UP BUT IT IS WISE AT TIMES TO ACQUIESCE.
This doesn't mean I have lost faith, it means I am re-energizing, clearing my mind and spirit of strife and struggle as I keep faith.
"When you get to the end of all the light you know and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown faith is knowing one of two things shall happen, either something solid will be given to stand on or you will be taught how to fly."
I've learned, through the school of hard knocks and rocks, let it go, even for now, for the sake of peace of mind and the recovery of clarity.
Also, I've learned the exact dream, vision and/or goal I hoped for at a certain time in life, thinking I was ready for it, actually manifested - not in my time, but in the order of my spiritual and personal growth awareness. At a time I could fully, and wisely, live that vision. I've learned that walking into the unknown presented many more options and opened up opportunity unknown to me before.
When have you been at that place of having to let go in order to continue forth? What is your thoughts on how to and experience of how it came to be?

I HAD A DREAM! A dream meditation
DREAM - VISION - WHERE WILL IT TAKE YOU?
I'm sharing a dream that showed me where I was going in life and adding a recent radio interview about why I wrote four books.
I had a dream many years ago that one day I'd inspire and teach people, many people to think beyond their preconceived limitations to live with a greater sense of their unique powers, rely upon their psychic impressions to guide them in life and be fulfilled..
When I had my dream I was a single mother pulling pennies together to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
To dream about me being on stage talking to an audience seemed, well, silly. What would I offer? Why would people want to hear me? Was that it, just a dream?
It's easier to say why you didn't accomplish what you hoped for than think if you kept to it, didn't give up, had greater faith, much would be revealed.
In the dream I stood on a stage encouraging others to see with their psychic eye, to developed their telepathic abilities. But the dream was so powerful that when I awoke I recorded it on paper never knowing how, why and where it would take me.I kept those notes until I was standing before a group at a podium, before my classes began to fill up, before so much manifested.
Since then I've written four books, two screenplays, taught many about psychic development, tarot, been invited to lecture on stage, on a couple of TV talk shows and my favorite, interviewed many times on the radio! Please listen to my latest radio interview, see link below.
As a Life Coach and for over forty years conducting psychic readings for clients across the USA and diverse parts of the world I've just about heard all the dreams, hopes, goals and as well as why people can't achieve them:
too old, too young, too fat, too thin, not educated enough, overly educated, no money, too responsible for others, a disorder (many to chose from) that doesn't support success/change, wrong sex, wrong color, wrong day, wrong time, wrong, wrong, wrong....
I say stop it!
Do we always get what we set out for? No.
But know this! In the process of taking steps toward what we hope will be our dream come true life we learn more about ourselves and open the doors to opportunities perhaps never thought of before.
Remember stay flexible, keep an open mind when reaching for that dream, and don't lose faith.
What is your dream?
Following your dream can take you many places and teach you much about your wonderful self, your abilities and talents
Here's an easy meditation for staying in the glow of your hopeful heart:
Sit quietly in a space you won't be interrupted by people, pets or phones.
Place a budding flower in front of you, a white candle and a colored one (yellow is inspiring, red is motivating, blue is encouraging and so forth). You can add an image of what you are ready to accomplish, to manifest. Place it in front of you so you can keep an eye on it.
Now, relax - slow nice rhythmic breathing, mentally see your dream, or goal as clearly as you can and/or look at your image.
Let your eyes slowly close as you keep that image in your mind's eye.
Say Aloud:
My heart is full of hope
My mind is clear
My soul is inspired
My spirit createsI manifest my vision
With faith as I walk the path
ready for whatever and whomever
I meets long the way, I trust
all is part of my journey
to realize my fulfillment
of my vision.
As it takes form,
I take form, transcending
challenges,
transforming to my true self.
May this or something better happen in my life.
So Mote it be.
Stay a while, enjoy the flickering candle flame. When you're ready to go snuff it out.
Let the flower open in the days to come. When the flower has reached it zenith and the petals drop give back to earth or place in a moving body of water.
You can repeat this two more times, but don't look back. Meaning don't dwell upon when? How? Who? Just take steps and keep faith.
Every book I wrote others suggested I do it but one. One that is truly my own inspiration written for me.
Which one is it?

GOING THROUGH HELL....FEAR & ANXIETY KEEP YOUR HEAD ON
If you're going through hell - keep going. - Winston Churchill -
Many worldwide are going through hell with this epidemic disease.
We all know of some (and maybe it's yourself) where fear and anxiety has taken over logic and reason - planning and caring. Fear this worldwide illness will kill ourselves and/ our loved ones.
Fear gripes and overwhelms us. We become chained to panic believing its power is greater than our own, like the people in the Tarot's Devil Card. The Devil got me by the toe.
I think in part that's reasonable to fearfully worry about our vulnerability as humans, don't you?
But, does it help? The answer is , no.
Carry on.
How to turn that to a more reasonable way of dealing with the very stressful situation?
The sixth Tarot card The Lovers card is the mirror opposite of the 15th card The Devil (reduce 15 = 6)
In the Lovers card the man looks at the woman, she at the angel.
What does this mean? It's has a few meanings but it truly is about Communication.
The balance between the man (yang) the physical world's knowledge, education, worldly experiences and the woman's (yin) inner world of wisdom, feelings and intuition. She looks to the angel, Rafael. Angel of healing.
Evolve spiritually through intelligence, reason and intuitive wisdom
This YouTube video on handling fear and anxiety can be instrumental in creating spiritual evolution and understanding to balance to your soul and intelligence.
Please let me know what you gained or didn't from the video. Blessed be.
