A VISION OF BURNING REVIVAL FIRES

A Vision of Burning Revival Fires by Deborah Perkins of His Inscriptions
In 2010 my husband and I had an angelic encounter in which the Lord revealed a progressive sequence of events that would take place in coming years. Although I have only spoken once publicly about this encounter, the Lord compelled me to share a few of the highlights with you again today.

SHAKING, BLOWING, BURNING
In 2010, I was told by the Lord that there would be a “shaking, a blowing, and then a burning” that happened in America; spiritually, politically, and economically. While this threefold progression of events would impact all people, the outcomes for the Body of Christ would be radically different than the end results for the ungodly.

I saw the potential collapse of financial systems as we knew them, and I heard the Lord say that evil political rulers were no match for His power. Despite any devastation that might come, God wanted to comfort and reassure believers of His love and His sovereignty over all things. The complex systems that man had set up appeared to God like nothing more than a child’s toy towers; easily knocked over!

We have certainly been through the shaking, and we are now seeing the “blowing” as a time of winnowing and harvest. Wheat is being separated from tares as the winds of the Spirit blow away confusion, deception, and everything that stands in the way of God’s Kingdom and truth advancing.

THE BURNING
This week as I encountered the Lord Jesus, He spoke again about the “burning” stage.  In a vision, I saw that the Lord was setting up a fire in a clearing. He had laid out the wood for the fire in an open area for anyone to see.

I knew that what appeared to be a “campfire” actually represented revival fires that would erupt in not just one location but many around the world. Jesus wanted to reveal Himself in greater measure as the Flame of the Lord, in this season of “burning.” (Isaiah 10:17.)

For believers, the burning represents a branding. For the obedient “remnant” in the Body of Christ, that branding will look like a spiritual mark of “Holy to the Lord.” For those who do not fear God, however, the burning will expose and bring to an end dead, antichrist works done in the flesh. (As symbolized by the dead wood.)

In this vision, I saw kindling but no flame. Thinking of Elijah with the Baals on Mount Carmel, I began praying that God would send the “flames” of revival. But the Lord had something else in mind.

As I continued to watch, the Lord instructed me to pour oil on top of the wood until it was saturated.  Next, He asked me to blow on the oil-soaked logs to ignite them with the breath of the Holy Spirit.

Unlike Elijah, today’s believers must partner with God not only to build these revival fires but also to ignite them by releasing the Holy Spirit’s flame from within them! I saw that a flashpoint was coming: a sudden eruption into flame, when believers’ increasingly heated prayers throughout this volatile season burst into sustained flames of revival.

God is asking His Bride to BLOW on the prepared wood: to keep breathing and decreeing His fiery words over everything that appears dead. (Ezekiel 37.) The oil-soaked kindling is at a boiling point and will quickly ignite as the breath of God from believers’ mouths touches it, becoming a consuming fire!

I saw that this scene would be enacted in many locations; many sparks will ignite and many fires will burn! Even in times of conflict, I saw believers huddled around these fires together to worship; to tell stories of His faithfulness; to share what God provides; and to celebrate their adventures with Him. The fires were places of warmth, togetherness, and rest. The Lord Himself would visit these fires, engaging in “tête-å-tête” conversations with His people.

PROVISION
Beside each of these revival fires were tables and tents.

Surprisingly, the tents were not for sleeping; they were full of provisions for the remnant. Inside the first tent was fresh bread, piled from the ground to the tent’s apex; just outside the tent door were buckets of fresh water to drink.

Inside a second tent I was surprised to find a massive pile of new brown leather journals. The Lord said that those who come to meet with Him at these fires will need the journals to chronicle their amazing journeys with Him!

There was a clear sense of mobility, movement and adventure for believers who had committed themselves to living a holy lifestyle with God in the midst of volatile times. The remnant would be warmed by these fires; they would share in fellowship and break bread with the Lord and each other.

Yet these "journalists" would not be sleeping or stagnant; they had missions to fulfill and it was the Lord’s intention to provide for them at every site. Their works would become a witness to future generations.

A CONSUMING FIRE
Just like in Korah’s rebellion (Numbers 16), I believe we will see a permanent and perhaps violent separation between those who are marked by the Lord as holy and those who are not, even within the “priesthood” of the Body of Christ. Moses and Aaron watched as in one day the Lord destroyed the sons of Levi - quasi-priests - who were offering unsanctioned fire:

“And (Moses) said to the congregation, ‘Get away from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, or you will be swept away in all their sin.

“…By this you will know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I do not act of my own accord… If the Lord creates an entirely new thing, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up, along with all that belongs to them, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned and rejected the Lord!’

“ … As soon as Moses finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split open and swallowed them and their households, and all the men who supported Korah, with all their possessions.

“…Fire also came forth from the Lord and consumed two hundred and fifty men who were offering the incense.”  (Numbers 16:26; 28; 30-32; 35.)

We are seeing similar events, where what has been set up in the strength of man or in opposition to God’s true priesthood, is suddenly being exposed and destroyed. Yet the holy remnant has a promise for such times of reckoning:

“In that day the Branch of the Lord will be splendid and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be excellent and lovely to those of Israel who have survived. It will come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called HOLY - set apart for God - everyone who is recorded for (eternal) life in Jerusalem.”  (Isaiah 4:2-3)

As God removes the supply of bread and water from nations that have rebelled against Him; ignoring, defiling, and provoking His Presence with Sodom-like sin; He is reassuring those who truly love Him that all will be well; the righteous will reap the good they have sown (Isaiah 3).

THE FLAME OF THE LORD IS YOUR LIGHT!
An invitation to “walk in the light of the Lord” (Isaiah 2:5) is being issued in preparation for greater darkness. The time in my vision this week was dusk; total darkness was quickly coming and it was harder to see. This was not the first time the Lord had spoken to me about a deep level of wickedness that would cause large-scale blackouts, conflicts, and chaos.

I sense that the Lord is issuing His invitation with a crucial warning to be aware of the lateness of the hour.

The fear of the Lord is falling on believers and unbelievers alike. Those who are already on fire for the Lord do not need to fear a time of “burning,” because they belong to the true Shining One! They will bear the marks of God’s Presence and will move from place to place with signs of His provision and power. They will become the storytellers of our generation!

Yet I believe the Lord is asking again: will you partner with Me in prayer to help ignite one of the most widespread revival movements this world has ever known? Will you choose to respond with courage in a dark time when others fear taking places of leadership or governance? Will you continue to follow Me?

FRIENDSHIP WITH THE KING

He who loves purity of heart and whose speech is gracious, will have the King as his friend.
~Proverbs 22:11

Dear Friends,

The current Hebrew month of “Elul” is such a beautiful time to celebrate the nearness of our King!

As I’ve meditated on this traditional Jewish time of preparation leading up to the “Days of Awe,” the Lord has drawn me back into the story of Ruth and Boaz. Within this ancient text are keys for how we must partner with our heavenly “Boaz” - King Jesus - today.

You may remember that like Christ, Boaz returns to his field at harvest time to check on his servants and reapers. Like Christ, he probably wonders: “Will I find faithfulness in my land? Will my fields be well tended and my full harvest come in?” (Luke 18:8)

What Boaz finds becomes the seed for an incredible story of redemption and new beginnings. Ruth is the eighth book of the Bible. While it is set in the time of the Judges, Ruth’s story has unique applications for us now.

THE CURSE
In a time of economic and political instability as well as spiritual decline, a man named Elimilech (meaning “My God is King”), encounters a famine in Bethlehem. Yet instead of remaining in the Promised Land, he moves his wife (Naomi) and their two sons to Moab, a nation hostile to Israel. This is no easy, local move: Moab is at best 1800 miles from Bethlehem; roughly a month's journey on foot.

Whether motivated by fear or faulty human reasoning, Elimilech runs from a problem instead of facing it. His decision proves to be fatal: Elimilech’s two sons marry Moabite women (Ruth and Orpah) and eventually all three men die, leaving three widows destitute in a foreign country.

Naomi sums up the experience this way: “I left full (with a husband and two sons), but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi (“pleasantness”), since the Lord has testified against me and the Almighty has afflicted me?” (Ruth 1:21)

Naomi and Elimilech's story is a picture of a curse in action.

After these deaths, Naomi hears that God has actually been taking care of His people in Judah, giving them food in a time of famine. It would have been better to trust God than to run from the problems!

Think about it: in the space of just ten years in Moab, Naomi loses not one but three intimate family members. She is abandoned by one of her daughters-in-law and winds up penniless except for an unredeemed piece of land in Bethlehem. To reclaim her inheritance, Naomi and Ruth must begin a long journey back home.

How does this apply today?

The journey symbolizes an urgent “return” to God that many people need to make right now, lest we, too, encounter worse situations in dire times.

God’s mercy is still available even to unbelievers - the “Ruths” among us - who are hungry for the Lord and His Word. But wholehearted return is often a long journey through death, grief, bitterness of soul, facing the fears, and encountering spiritual famine or impoverishment.

The journey is hard, but it is meant to restore.

Throughout the journey, Ruth remains a faithful, comforting companion to Naomi, even pledging her life to the God of Israel. The meaning of Ruth’s name is “Compassionate Friend.”

Like New Testament Cornelius, Ruth’s hard work during the harvest season, her bold loyalty, and her generous devotion are noticed by others. They earn her, in the end, a fruitful place in the lineage of Jesus. Ruth’s son becomes David’s grandfather.

THE BLESSING
Returning to God always carries a blessing with it, and Ruth’s story illustrates just how wonderful the blessings of friendship with the Lord can be.

From Boaz’s first words in Ruth 2:4, we see a Christ-like figure who speaks blessings over his people. He cares for the condition of his workers, not just his crops.

As this symbolic “King” returns to his field, Boaz hears of Ruth’s faithfulness and submission while she exercises the biblical right of the poor to glean at the edges of his field.

When Jesus returns to the field of this world once again, will He find your faithfulness, too?

Like the servants with the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), Ruth has used any skills or strength  she possesses to labor from dawn to dusk for her food. As a result, Boaz blesses her with more.

Ruth is “promoted” from gleaning to reaping as Boaz commands his reapers to undo their work, pulling stalks of grain from bundles already gathered. She is promoted again when she moves from doing the work of reaping to bearing fruit herself.

Boaz’s interactions with Ruth release 12 blessings:

He welcomes her as “My daughter,” treating even a foreigner as one of his own.He cautions her not to go into other fields, but to stay close within the boundaries of his own field. He advises Ruth to watch where the reapers go and to follow after them. He commands his men not to touch or rebuke her.He gives her fresh water to drink. He brings her to his table like David did with Mephibosheth, inviting her to eat his bread until she is satisfied. He rewards her with extra grain for Naomi, her only remaining family member. He decrees the fullness of God’s blessings over her life, “under whose wings she has come to take refuge.” He fights for her wisely and legally, so that Naomi’s field may be redeemed by someone who cares not only for the value of the land, but also for the women who own it.He protects Ruth’s integrity and reputation when she secretly presents a sensitive request for redemption. He honors Ruth by extending his covering to her as a kinsman-redeemer and bridegroom. He causes Ruth to become fruitful herself, producing an heir in the lineage of David.
This is what Jesus does for His friends. While it’s easy to see the connections between Boaz and Christ in these twelve blessings, I believe that Ruth's story also holds significant prophetic weight for us in our current season.

Just as Boaz blessed Ruth with protection and provision, so God will protect and provide for those families who remain in or return to Him at this hour, even in times of famine. Whether this lack is experienced naturally or spiritually, the Lord intends to satisfy those who come to Him with bread from His table (Isaiah 55).

Christ teaches in Matthew 13 that the reapers are the angels. There is a powerful partnership with angelic reapers available to all believers at this time. Where you have labored tirelessly like Ruth, there is promotion and acceleration available to you as you lean in to the supernatural help God is providing through His Spirit. Ask the Lord for these ministering and reaping angels to bring supernatural help as you labor for your harvest!

We are in a time of “winnowing,” where wheat is clearly being separated from the chaff. Yet for Ruth and for believers today, the time of winnowing can become the time of promotion! It is at the threshing floor that Ruth receives her greatest reward: the promise of a covering and full redemption by her soon-to-be bridegroom.

Notice that Ruth had to walk in a precarious place of integrity and trust throughout her difficult journey. While she grieved, she retained honor for her elders; worked tirelessly for little pay while obeying the laws of the land; had the boldness to approach her “redeemer” undercover, in the darkness of night; and found courage to invite Boaz to partner with her.

Deep trust and strong faith are necessary components for relationships that work in difficult situations. Steps of bold faith - not running from hard times - will lead you into God's current places of provision.

It is through this tiny “community” of three faithful people - two of them extremely broken but yielded to God - that healing, restoration, and the continuation of a family line are preserved. It is through these three faithful people - Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz - that healing and restoration are made possible for the world as the generational line of Christ is continued! (Matthew 18:19-20.)

Faithful, intimate alignment with God in today's “winnowing” season is a key to receiving the fullness of your inheritance! God is waiting for you to ask Him for your full inheritance in prayer. Alignment with others who share a similar commitment to excellence and integrity is essential to your survival!

THE "KING IN THE FIELD" SEEKS FRIENDS
Proverbs 22:11 describes the type of person who has the King as his friend. It is someone whose heart, like Ruth’s, is pure, and who celebrates purity of heart in others. It is someone whose words, like Boaz’s, are governed by the law of kindness, even in times of deep loss, hardship, or alienation.

When the “King is in your field,” as He is in this beautiful story of Ruth, you’ll see a shift from poverty to blessing. Widowhood to marriage. Bitterness to joy. Gleaning to reaping. Scraps to sheaves. Famine to harvest. Isolation to friendship. Barrenness to fruitfulness. Vulnerability to protection. Alienation to covenant!

My prayer for you today contains words from the book of Ruth

Blessed is the Lord who has not left you without a Redeemer!

May His Name become famous through you. May He be the One who restores your life and sustains you in old age as you devote yourself to serving Him faithfully; in season and out of season.

May you never be afraid to stand your ground when famine or loss strikes. May you have the courage to always return to God, even if your soul must journey from very far away.

May you receive the fullness of your own inheritance in Christ as you seek to remain intimately within the protection of His covering. May you find refuge under His outstretched wings. Amen.

THE SCEPTER OF WICKEDNESS WILL BE BROKEN!

Picture This Month's Prayer Resource from His Inscriptions
Dear Friends,

Early in the morning on 8.13.22, the Lord drew me into an encounter with Him. I heard Him say: “The scepter of wickedness will not remain over the land of the righteous.” (Psalm 125:3.)

I was immediately shown a vision of a “scepter of wickedness.” It resembled a rough, brown branch or wooden staff, much like a walking stick. Carved into it were words like “slavery;” “debt;” “fear;” “poverty;” “borrower;” “bribery;” “money;” and “interest.”

All the words on this scepter spoke specifically of economic oppression that was being inflicted worldwide through ungodly leaders.

The Lord then highlighted three Scriptures.

The first was 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.”

In context, 1 Timothy 6 warns believers about false teachers, greed and covetousness along with the need for us to guard the “deposits” of faith and contentment we have made for eternity.

The second scripture was Matthew 19:21. Here, Jesus responds to a rich young ruler’s question, saying: “If you want to be perfect (mature; complete), go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

The third scripture was from Matthew 6:24: “You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Jon and Jolene Hamill’s Declaration of Independence from Babylon, decreed at Faneuil Hall in Boston on 7/22/22, was a powerful corporate verdict of freedom for our nation from the oppression of the spirit of Babylon.

Now, as the tyrannical rule of this spirit is broken off our nation, I hear a strong call from the Lord for people to come out of Babylon captivity themselves.

God is shaking the systems of this world in order to restore right relationship with Himself; complete freedom will come as we continue to pull the "talons" of Babylon out of ourselves and our families.

The root of the rich young ruler’s sin was not primarily greed or covetousness, but idolatry. No one who serves two masters is given authority to rule!

The danger of compromise is outlined in Psalm 125:3 (above) and Proverbs 2:22: “The wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous shall be forcibly uprooted and removed from it.”

It is time for the Bride of Christ to walk in greater levels of personal maturity and commitment, with the kind of faith and integrity that forsakes all forms of idolatry. We must embrace the ways of the Kingdom, whose treasures and provisions all flow from honorable relationships.

“Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord’s vengeance; He will pay her what she deserves.” ~Jeremiah 51:6

Claiming possession of our Kingdom inheritance is only the beginning of our victory; as God exposes and uproots wickedness, a pure, righteous remnant is arising to rule their land!

Like the rich young ruler, those who are rich in the things of this world may find it difficult to make the transition from the rigid systems of worldly wealth and debt into more fluid, Spirit-led transactions. Yet Jesus promises that with God, all things are possible!

Today, Christ's hope is still a lifeline for those who are struggling to entrust everything - especially finances - to God. God is shifting His Body into an era of great resourcefulness and unprecedented creativity that will not only sustain us but will also bring much-needed solutions to a distressed world.

God's exposure and censorship of idolatry is meant to be an invitation back into the highest place of communion and fellowship with Him, in the “holy of holies” of His heart. This season marks a return to kinder, gentler ways of the heart; whose rivers and streams are finding their way around every boulder Babylon has placed in our path like dams against the tide.

In 1 Timothy 6:3-20, the apostle Paul lists eight specific actions believers like Timothy can take to counter false teachings and the snare of Babylonian “riches” and idolatry:

FLEE from the “prosperity” gospel (using godliness as a means for gain)PURSUE righteousness (moral conformity to God’s character through Christ)FIGHT the good fight of the faith (through godliness, study, and prayer) TAKE HOLD of eternal life, which is hidden with Christ in God KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS unstained; live with integrity, beyond reproachCHARGE THE RICH not to be proud or to hope in mammon instead of God GUARD the “deposit” of faith entrusted to you AVOID senseless quarrels and ungodly “knowledge.”  In a similar end-time warning, Jude adds one final command: KEEP YOURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD!
These cautions can become checkpoints for those struggling to exit the mentality of Babylonian strongholds.

For example, how you personally “pursue righteousness” in this new season might include renewing your commitment to tithe (Proverbs 3:5-10) or deciding to bless the poor through your sacrificial giving, even when finances are tight (Luke 21:1-4). God will reward cheerful givers who demonstrate trust in His provision!

Those who allow God to purify their hearts right now, being faithful in little, will find their authority to rule increases much!

SECOND VISION: CHRIST'S SCEPTER
In a second vision, I was shown the Lord’s scepter, which was not crude or wooden but shining and glorious. It had only one word inscribed on it: “JESUS.”

The scepter that bore Christ’s name represented righteousness and justice. (Psalms 45:6 & 89:14.) As I wondered about the striking contrast between the two scepters, the Lord brought to mind three more scriptures:

Psalm 45:6 “Your throne, O god, is forever and ever; the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.”

Psalm 60:7 “Judah is My scepter.” (Judah means “praise” or “thanksgiving”)

Genesis 49:10: The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes.”

We know from history that Judah did rule, even if minimally during periods of captivity, until Shiloh (Christ) came. From that time until now, the Lord has given spiritual governing authority to His New Covenant disciples.

I believe the Lord is calling His people into a place of increased, continuous rule through praise and worship; intercession and decrees. We are being asked to bring positive change from the high places of Kingly worship and the surrendered, Throne-room positions of priestly intercession. Abiding in protected places of heartfelt worship is essential as God continues to remove the wicked and expose evil leaders. (See Amos 5:13.)

The Shepherd’s rod is now being used to “number” His sheep and gather those who belong completely to Him. The test of rule, promotion, and protection will always be the condition of our hearts!

THIRD ENCOUNTER: BABYLON IS FALLING!
In a third encounter with the Lord, I went out early one morning to worship under the stars.

As I sat quietly with Him, I suddenly saw a very bright falling star - a meteor - shoot rapidly through the heavens on its downward slope. I had never seen this happen so clearly or closely before!

I began interceding for America, repenting for wickedness that pervades every sector of our society. I prayed for mercy for our world, which seemed to be falling apart!

But the Lord stopped me and said: “My world is not falling apart; I am still upholding all things by My Word!” There was joy on His face as He spoke these reassuring words. Then He added a promise: “I will settle you.”

I discovered later that this particular promise is found in Isaiah 14, describing both the fall of Babylon and the fall of Lucifer: “The Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and SETTLE them in their own land… they will take them captive whose captives they were, and RULE over their oppressors…

"On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! …The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers… All the lands are at rest and peace; they break into singing.” (Isaiah 14:1-7)

A shift in perspective is necessary as we renounce tyranny and rejoice in Christ’s eternal rule. Instead of focusing on sin, it is essential to give PRAISE to the Lord for breaking the scepter of wickedness over our land and restoring righteous rule!

God is bringing deliverance and rest from those places where you have been oppressed and unjustly persecuted. Be encouraged! He has seen and heard what the enemy has done both individually and corporately, and evil government will not continue! Those who have abused their positions will lose their positions, falling like stars from their places of governance.

Our key to deliverance is not anger, backbiting, or political maneuvering, but worship as we respond to the extended scepter of our King to rule and reign with Him. The world is going to find that faith-based, relational transactions of the heart carry more authority and provision than any substitute systems they have set up!

The Body of Christ is already discovering unusual power and glorious freedom as we begin to make UNIFIED decrees from places of authority before God's Throne. (*Note: this month's prayer card  focuses on Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17. Order it here.) Lesser kingdoms are falling to the Greater One as we align ourselves entirely and precisely with the Lord and His individual mandates for our lives!

Authority to rule is increasing for those who are forsaking Babylon's crumbling systems and entrusting themselves to Christ alone! Are you one of them? Will you accept the Lord's invitation to come out of any remaining places of idolatry? Will you rule and reign with Him?

DECREE WITH ME:
Thank you, Lord, that the staff of the wicked is being broken! True Shepherds are now arising who will lead the Lord’s Bride through His love in their hearts; not because they have been “hired.”

The collapse of the world’s "Babylonian" system is ushering in a new era of great resourcefulness and creativity for the Body of Christ. Vindication is coming to God’s people as relational restoration takes place.

Even young people who surrender themselves to the Lord are becoming noble vessels filled with the authority of Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit. They will rule on earth in their God-given spheres!

Your plans for our world are good, Lord, and You are still sovereign, upholding our world amidst all this present chaos. I submit myself and everything I possess to You, for the good of Your Kingdom. I want to store up better, lasting treasures in heaven!

Neither the love of money nor fears about personal security will stop the flow of Your goodness to me, Lord! I will worship You and believe in Your provision.

Yes, I will reign with You!

Amen!

A VISION FOR GOD'S EAGLES

A VISION FOR GOD'S EAGLES by Deborah Perkins
Dear Friends,

In a series of encounters over the past week, the Lord has been speaking to me of His “Eagles”: those believers and warriors who have taken the time to rest deeply in the Lord, heal, listen, and prepare themselves for the future.

These Eagles are trained to soar! Like great birds perched on the Master Falconer’s arm, they are awaiting His signal and ready to be released.

I believe there will be a time very soon when these Eagles are corporately released. They will know by the Spirit what they are to do, both individually and in collaboration with each other. Their visionary leadership and heightened perspective in stormy times will be a great asset to the Body of Christ!

THE EAGLE-BRIDE
In recurring visions, I saw the Lord’s Bride in the form of a mature Eagle, perfectly perched on His right arm. She was at rest, and she faced inward, not outward. She was looking intently into her Master’s eyes, awaiting His commands.

Like a skilled Master Falconer, Jesus had found and trained this Eagle at just the right time.

At her feet, I saw a dark rope - a “cord of compassion” which the Lord had used to rescue her, which became a “tether” to her when she flew. This cord did not restrict the Eagle’s freedom in any way, but symbolized the spiritual connection between His heart and hers: His, in rescue; hers, in flight.

Like every one of the Lord’s Eagles, I knew that she had her own testimony of redemption or rehabilitation. Her feathers were beautiful, soft and perfect; she had no wounds or flaws.

I knew from a previous vision that the Eagle’s hiddenness and subsequent emergence to maturity had gone almost unnoticed by the world. She was a skilled, obedient hunter who responded immediately to the Lord’s voice.

Looking closely, I saw that the Lord had placed blinders over her eyes (like a falconer’s hood) to calm and protect this Eagle from the noise of change and the sudden sights of  chaos happening around the world. He meant to keep the Eagle from flying off too quickly to her demise.

While these blinders shielded the Eagle from the warfare happening all around her, they did not prevent her from gazing at Him! The Eagle’s focus was completely on the Lord. It was her ability to seek Him first, above all, that kept her from being destroyed by mounting anxieties and battles taking place in the world around her. (Matthew 6:25-34.)

This Eagle was abiding in the powerful place of stillness Isaiah describes, where rest becomes salvation and trust becomes strength.

As I experienced these encounters I felt so strongly that they contained deep wisdom from the Lord. I saw that for some believers at this time, REST could mean the difference between life and death.

God is calling His Eagle-Bride to fix her gaze steadily on Him for two reasons: first, so that she is absolutely certain of who He is and her strengths in Him; second, to allow the fog of deceptive warfare to pass so that better strategic perspective can be gained.

"WHILE EVIL MEN RUN AND HIDE, THE RIGHTEOUS ARE GOING TO SOAR AND RISE!"
In another prayer time the Holy Spirit brought me into a new vision. He took me to the wilderness, and showed me what appeared to be caves.

I saw that those who were plotting greedily for their own gain thought they were safe hiding inside the tunnels of these rocky caves. They were digging themselves deeper and deeper into darkness.

The Holy Spirit said: “While evil men run and hide, the righteous are going to soar and rise!”

I saw those who were planning evil on the earth were encountering the Fear of the Lord in such a measure that they were now running deeper and deeper into these caves created for their secret schemes. They thought they were protected, but as the judgments of the Lord increased, they cried out for the rocks to fall and hide them:

“I watched as He opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

“Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their  wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”  ~Revelation 6:12-17

I heard the Spirit say that earthquakes around the world are meant to be a sign that God is able to break open even the deepest recesses of the earth, exposing to all what has been maliciously hidden.

“I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places.” ~Isaiah 45:3

I saw hoarded “treasures” of the wicked inside these caves, stored up for one purpose yet designated for another! This was so that the righteous could know and rejoice in the Lord, their just and merciful King!

I heard the Lord say: I am orchestrating a transfer of wealth from the wicked even as I transform the righteous!”

RESCUES AND RECKONING: A CONTRAST BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED
Isaiah describes a day of reckoning this way:

“For the Lord will have a day of reckoning against all who are proud and arrogant… that they may be degraded… and the idols will completely vanish. They will go into the caves of the rocks and into the holes of the ground (fleeing) from the terror and dread of the Lord and from the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to terrify the earth. In that day… men will go into the caverns of the rocks and into the clefts of the cliffs as they flee from the terror and dread of the Lord.”  ~Isaiah 2:12;19;21

As I watched in the vision, I feared for those who chose to remain in such situations. Yet I heard the Spirit say that there was still time for some to be rescued!

I saw the Lord Jesus walking through the wilderness, actively seeking those who were caught as victims of evil schemes; going in the caves Himself to pull them out. I felt the Lord’s strong desire for us to continue to intercede as this reckoning and rescuing continues.

At the same time, I heard the Spirit say that those who have remained in the Lord and been purified will be safe in times of reckoning. Contrasting the righteous and the wicked, the Lord reminded me of Isaiah’s words:

“Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, for they will eat the fruit of their (righteous) actions. Woe is coming to the wicked! It shall go badly for him, for what his hand has done shall be done to him.” ~Isaiah 3:10-11

KEY APPLICATIONS FOR GOD’S "EAGLES"
Like the Master Falconer, the Lord’s desire is to continue to care for and nourish His waiting Bride even as He breaks open evil plots and brings down corrupt leaders in every sector of our society.

Rest is meant to empower you, not to limit you! A corporate empowerment for God’s Eagle-Bride is coming. Use times of inactivity to feast on the Lord’s goodness and replenish for future battles. Trust in the Lord’s timing and await His signal to soar on fresh winds!

The Eagle in this vision becomes stronger in her love relationship with Christ as she rests, holding tightly with her “talons” around His arm. Her firm grip is meant to remind us of the Shulammite’s, leaning on the Beloved’s arm as she emerges from the wilderness!

Allow the Lord to continue to feed and care for you as you gaze intently and only at His face. I hear the Lord saying: "The direction of your gaze will determine the height to which you can soar!

Know that God sees the ungodly, even in their obscure hiding places. He knows how to rescue those who are still trapped in captivity.

Understand that divine rescue missions are underway right now even as holy reckonings occur. Wars, famines, and earthquakes are simply indicators of the redemption and awakening being made available through Christ.

Pray for the captives who are still being rescued in mind, body, and spirit. Nothing is too hard for God; no area is too “unreached” for Him to seek and find the lost!

May the Lord’s Bride become that Eagle untouched by terror, who arises only at Christ’s command, clothed in the splendor of His majesty!

For Him,
Deborah

REDEEMED WITH JUSTICE!

REDEEMED WITH JUSTICE: His Inscriptions Blog ~ Deborah Perkins
Dear Friends,

I hear the Lord saying to His Bride:

“You thought I abandoned you, but I have not forsaken you! You thought I left you in the wilderness, but you did not perceive what I was doing behind the scenes as you learned to depend entirely on Me.

“For here I have given you the gifts of My Presence and provision, which will carry you out beyond the wilderness and into a world at war. I am taking My cup of wrath and placing it in the hands of your tormentors, who took you captive and made you like dirt for them to walk on. I am pleading your cause and rendering justice in your case. Your justice will become a testimony to your tormentors!”

I see the Lord’s Bride emerging from the wilderness with spiritual power and authority that can come only from the Throne of God. This Throne is firmly founded on justice, holiness, and righteousness.

His Inscriptions Blog ~ Deborah Perkins 7/22 A HOLY, VICTORIOUS BRIDE EMERGING
Our Lord is HOLY. He is incapable of evil; entirely just and fair; morally excellent; spiritually pure, and perfectly GOOD all the time. “Holy” is His very Name!

The Lord’s Spirit at work in His Bride is also holy and pure.

While this past season has been one of intense refining, I see the Spirit now drawing people out of the wilderness and their former places of wandering, into a place of true, uncompromised character.

I hear the Lord saying: “I am driving out the nations and giving YOU the victory! No man will be able to stand before you: I am laying the fear and dread of YOU on all the land!”

For the bridal company who has yielded to His embrace, the fresh knowledge of the Lord gained in the wilderness will protect them from increased deception. They are awakened to the "fellowship of the mystery" of Christ and to their unity with His Body of believers in powerful communion. I see God’s holy lovers becoming true “plumb lines,” exposing every false measure and shaky foundation.

LOST AND FOUND IN THE WILDERNESS
Some of you thought you would lose sight of the Lord in the wilderness, yet it was there that He found you and brought you back to Him for good!

“Now the Angel of the Lord found (Hagar) by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur… Then she called the Name of the Lord who spoke to her, ‘You are (El Roi) - the God who sees;’ for she said, ‘have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?’ Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi (‘well of the Living One seeing me.’)” (Genesis 16:7;13-14)

I hear the Lord speaking the beautiful promises of Isaiah 51 over you: “The Lord will comfort Zion in her captivity; He will comfort all her ruins. And He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of a melody.”

Just as the Father delights to sing over you, so the sound of your worship delights His heart! You are emerging from your wilderness season not as battered, wounded servants, but as sons and daughters who have encountered His love and are now strong and ready for battle. I hear Joshuas and Calebs shouting: “Give me these mountains!”

WILDERNESS WEAKNESSES BECOMING STRENGTHS
The Lord is highlighting to me the classic “turnaround story”of Joshua’s battle at Ai. (Joshua 8.)

Ai’s men had just dealt a severe blow to Israel, whose soldiers had been compromised by sin.

Fear, not strength, permeated the ranks of Joshua’s army. Yet once the sin was dealt with, Israel was able to enact a new, winning strategy.

God instructed Joshua to set up an ambush behind the city of Ai with some of his soldiers. The rest of Israel’s army then pretended to be defeated on another side, luring the enemy to chase them as they ran back towards the wilderness.

Once the city of Ai was abandoned and unguarded, Joshua raised his spear, and his soldiers in ambush came out of hiding to set the stronghold on fire. Ai’s soldiers found themselves trapped between two Israelite regiments.

Israel used the perception of weakness and the boundaries of the wilderness to their advantage - and won the war!

In a similar way, I see the Lord turning the weaknesses the Bride faced in her wilderness into powerful new strengths.

Throughout this long season of fiery purging and refining, the remnant-Bride has been preparing herself in the wilderness, regaining strength and learning to lean on Christ alone. All the while, God has been setting ambushes against the enemy.

It will now be the strongholds of the enemy that are consumed by fire, not the dwellings of the Bride! The Bride will know how to use lessons learned in the wilderness to defeat her enemies.

I decree that former places of confinement and defeat will become your inspiration for future success strategies. Your prayers are activating holy ambushes, and you will only have to look with your eyes to see the destruction of the wicked!

While the world thinks God’s deliverers are retreating in defeat, I hear over and over again a Gideonesque victory shout in the Spirit: “The sword of the Lord and of ______!” (Insert your name in place of Gideon’s.)

There is a company of warriors rising up who refuse to be intimidated by the enemy any longer. They are prophesying victory as they wield their own Word-Swords, which have been crafted by faith.

God is quenching thirst and refreshing His Bride even as He burns up and destroys her enemies! What was once barren and dry in your lives will be saturated with springs of living water as you open your hearts to receive from Him!

I see a vision of the Lord uncapping long-sealed wells of the heart to release rivers and streams of life. I see His Bride emerging from the wilderness refreshed, singing, and prophesying about God’s goodness, deliverance, and holiness!

[image error] FULL REDEMPTION FOR THE BRIDE
The prophet Isaiah’s words are coming to life right before our eyes. Rebel rulers and worldly, unjust judges who can be bought for a price are now being shaken right out of their pride.

Those who have been deaf to the cries of the righteous, or turned away from the unborn and the fatherless, are now seeing a supernatural “Avenger” arrive on the scene, toppling their “screens” (of deception) and interrupting their “shows” (false signs of strength).

The arrogant will learn that “Where the Word of a King is, there is power;” no one can say to God: “What are you doing?”  (Ecclesiastes 8:4)

To the faithful remnant-Bride, I hear the Lord saying: “I will restore your judges as at the first, and [wise] counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. I am redeeming Zion with Justice and reviving the repentant with righteousness!” (See Isaiah 1:26-27.)

GLORY!

To lovers of God emerging from the wilderness: it is the Lord Himself who is setting angelic ambushes and fighting your battles! I see the Lord's justice restoring you and freeing you of  remaining enemies in this season. Your redemption stories will fill the enemy with fear, but the righteous with hope. Your wilderness season has turned the Fear of the Lord into your treasure - and the enemy’s dread!

For Him,
Deborah

I HEAR THE LORD SAYING TO THE WEARY: "I AM YOUR LIFELINE AND RESCUER!"

Dear Friends,
I hear the Lord saying to the weary: “I am your Lifeline and your Rescuer!”

In a vision this week, I saw the Lord Jesus holding a thick rope which extended from heaven to earth. His desire was to rescue His people by drawing them up higher with Him in the Spirit.

The ones who took hold of the Lord to ascend in this way were deposited on a cloud in the heavens. All around them was darkness. I heard the Lord say that He was a “Lifeline” and a “Rescuer.”

When I asked the Lord about the cloud, which was very high above earth and surrounded by a vast space, He spoke into my ears a verse from Psalm 18:19: “He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.”
As I studied this verse in context, the Lord began to speak about His ability and desire to rescue the people He delights in from dark, perilous times.

He emphasized the contrast between the enemy’s cords of death (which ultimately pull unbelievers to their destruction) and His cords of compassion.

As believers withstand increasingly difficult battles on earth, Christ’s strong cords of love are available to draw us close to Him. He wants to provide much-needed spiritual refreshment and “rescue” for those who seek Him!

I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.
The cords of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death confronted me.
(Psalm 18:3-5)

I believe there is a fresh call to enter into the realm of the Spirit through prayer and worship. Doing this will provide rest and give a deep breath of life to believers who are weary from the enemy’s relentless attacks.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
He drew me out of deep waters.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the Lord was my support.
He brought me out into a spacious place;
He rescued me because He delighted in me.
(Psalm 18:16-19)

Lifeline Image / His Inscriptions
I hear the Lord saying: “The enemy pressures you with deadlines; I provide you with lifelines!”

Again, I see the contrast between the time-sensitive pressures of earth, which are dictated by Satan’s evil agenda, and the “timeless” feel of the seasons and processes of heaven, where God moves at the speed of relationship.

While God is sovereign over the earth, governing and protecting us as we live in “occupied territory,” the world itself is still under enemy rule. As Psalm 18 so aptly describes, we experience war, loss, and the pressures of “training for reigning” even as we remain under fire.

The secret to survival is learning to rest and trust the One who holds time in His hands!

GO AT THE SPEED OF RELATIONSHIP
The enemy’s pressure to produce, perform, persevere, or even reach breakthroughs of faith in short amounts of time is meant to hide the untroubled truth that our relationship with Christ exists within an eternal continuum.

We are being prepared and perfected as Christ’s partner and Bride, and He has all the time in the world for us!

The Lord is a Master at building relationships. I believe the Lord is reminding His Body that His goal is not primarily to USE us, but to LOVE us. The idea that we have to produce or perform by certain dates and times can be toxic to the soul and deadly to the Spirit. He loves us - and lovers take time with each other!

The antidote to Satan’s agenda for weariness and destruction is not frustration, anger, or revenge, but a measured following of the Spirit, who always guides our feet into peace. What we do not finish here on earth will be carried on by those who follow us, while we support and cheer them on from heaven.

TAMMUZ: A MONTH FOR GOD'S CHILDREN TO WORSHIP
A beautiful scripture in Genesis 33:12-14 reveals the heart of God for His children.

Brothers Esau and Jacob have just been reunited after a separation of roughly 20 years:

Esau said, “Let us be on our way; I’ll accompany you.”

But Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are tender and that I must care for the ewes and cows that are nursing their young. If they are driven hard just one day, all the animals will die. So let my lord go on ahead of his servant, while I move along slowly at the pace of the flocks and herds before me and the pace of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir.”

Jacob’s goal of settling in Seir with his family did not override His desire to love and protect the little ones who traveled with him. By going at a slower pace, Jacob also built shelters at Sukkoth and built an altar to the Lord (“El Elohe Israel”).

In other words, like David carrying the ark, Jacob worshiped as he went. He honored the relationships and situations unique to him rather than conforming to any pressure or impatience on his brother’s part. These scriptures hold keys for us today!

Jesus echoes this sentiment when He says in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

Jesus did not mean that only children are the possessors of heaven. Yet a child’s pace is dramatically different from that of an adult. They are far less hurried as they observe and delight in everything along the way! They are curious learners; and of necessity followers, since they are still unfamiliar with the world and its ways. Their faith and trust is built as they fully engage in life.

As the Lord Jesus delighted in children, so God delights in you as His child. Just as the Son of Man made time and space for children, so God wants to do for you.

Rescuer image from His Inscriptions

During this Hebrew month of Tammuz, waiting and worshiping are keys.

Israel failed the test in the wilderness by worshiping a golden calf. Moses, however, responded to God’s invitation to ascend, wait, and worship God. Moses’ obedience became Israel’s lifeline.

God has perfect timing. All His ways are peace, when we let Him lead. His leadership will be our victory!

As trials on earth increase, I see Jesus providing the way of escape for those who will embrace Him. He is setting His people securely on high places and training our hands to war from a higher place of perspective and spiritual victory.

Worship and prayer will create the “holy pauses” each day that will allow you to reach up and take hold of your spiritual Lifeline.

As you meditate on David the worshiper’s Psalm, ask the Lord to draw you up with His cords of compassion until you are resting in your Rescuer’s wonderful embrace!

Deborah

GOD IS RAISING UP AN ARMY OF DELIVERERS!

I hear the Lord saying: “I am raising up an army of deliverers! For you have seen how I brought deliverers to the forefront one by one to champion My cause and deliver My people from oppression. But now in this time, I will cause ARMIES OF DELIVERERS to arise as one, putting 10,000 to flight. Joel’s army is arising like the anointed Cyrus with his troops, to conquer Babylon and take back her treasures!”

Early this morning, as I meditated on the familiar scriptures in Isaiah 45, I saw MANY anointed deliverers rising up as “Cyruses” for our time: a “Joel’s army” marching VICTORIOUSLY and IN UNITY as they took back spiritual ground the enemy had stolen.

While historically there was only a single judge or deliverer at any one time for God's people, I saw armies of deliverers rising up to say “Enough is enough!” to the works of the enemy at this time. Moving together as one, they would see the Lord’s triumphant victories on earth because of the powerful, corporate anointing of the Holy Spirit.

I hear the Lord saying: “No more will gates be closed and bars impenetrable to you. For as I went before Cyrus to unlock and open the bronze doors of Babylon, so I am now commissioning you to follow the River of My Spirit and take back your cities. I have given you the keys - yet you will not NEED these keys, for the doors are already open to you! Cross over into your destinies AS ONE; push open these doors, and you will find My goodness waiting for you on the other side!”

According to the Greek historian Herodotas, when Cyrus wanted to conquer Babylon he first encountered the river Gyndes as a territorial obstacle. The river’s deep flow drowned one of his white horses and was impossible to cross.

To overcome this obstacle, Cyrus had his troops divert the river into a series of streams - hundreds of them - making  the river so shallow that “even a woman could cross.” (Story here.)

He then followed the river right up to the city gates with its bronze doors, which - amazingly - he found unlocked.

Two hundred years before Cyrus appeared, God had Isaiah write down a prophecy that those bronze doors would be open to Cyrus. Babylon's strong city was easily conquered because God had gone before His deliverer and the city’s occupants were so busy drinking and reveling that they were taken completely by surprise!

Biblically, bronze doors and iron gates are a sign of the curse: “The skies above will be as unyielding as bronze, and the earth beneath will be as hard as iron.” (Deuteronomy 28:23; Leviticus 26:19).

Today I see the Lord unlocking spiritual barriers that have separated seekers from His blessings and breaking up the pride and hard-heartedness that has kept people from reaping their harvests.

I hear the Lord saying: “Take firm hold of My promises to you, My anointed ones, and believe Me for your victories. Do not flinch at any obstacle the enemy puts in your way, but only ASK ME and I will show you the solution to overcome it.

I am making inroads to the heart and bringing release to prisoners within iron bars. I am disarming demonic kings and rulers who have previously blocked your victories.

My Sword will cut through iron; My Word in your mouth will bring freedom! Just as Cyrus decreed Israel’s return from captivity, so I will cause My army of anointed worshipers to decree freedom and release to the bound. I honor My Word, even to those who don’t yet fully know or believe Me!”

I feel the Lord’s heart beating for FREEDOM! I sense a stirring in the Spirit for these deliverers to arise as one man, knowing they are stronger than a "Cyrus" because of their CORPORATE UNITY in the Spirit and their AGREEMENT to see oppressive demonic regimes come down.

What happens next in history will serve to bring honor and glory to God’s Name alone. He is strengthening and arming His intimate “Warrior Bride;” equipping her to subdue nations through the kind of worshiping warfare that causes God’s Presence to go before her, open all the gates, and bring complete victory!

This victory will yield NOT ONLY the “hidden treasure” of souls in harvest, but also the secret riches and resources the wicked have stored up to finance the continued expansion of God’s Kingdom.

Personal Note: As we praise God for the historic overturning of Roe vs. Wade today (which came just hours after I wrote these words), may we agree together in prayer for the further demolishing of pride, idolatry, and the injustices that keep good people oppressed and bound. Let’s tear down demonic lies and strongholds that still hold the afflicted in captivity. Above all, may we not yield to the temptation towards anger or retaliation ourselves, but remember that our highest call, even as an army of deliverers, is to love!

I SEE EDICTS OF JUSTICE BEING ISSUED FROM HEAVEN!

“The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.”
John 3:32-34

Dear Friends,

One of the easiest ways to pray is to use the Lord’s prayer as a “template” or starting point for deeper understanding.

For centuries, people have found that praying slowly and intentionally through the prayer Christ taught His disciples brings great revelation.

Through this prayer, for example, we realize that we are children of a Father who is unlike our natural fathers because He is both good and holy. We see that we can approach Him intimately, calling Him “Abba,” which means “Papa” or “Daddy,” a far cry from the religious idea of an angry or unapproachable God!

We learn that this holy Father desires to feed and care for us daily, keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil.

Each phrase communicates something essential for us and can become a gateway into deeper revelation as we pray.

ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN
As I prayed through the Lord’s prayer this morning, I paused at the phrase: “On earth as it is in heaven.” Rather than pass quickly by, I asked the Father what was happening in heaven today.

If we are to bring heaven to earth, we must first see what is happening in heaven! Then, just as John writes in the scripture above concerning Christ, we are also able to testify to what we have seen and heard.

The Father showed me a vision of many papers being sorted through and handed out in heaven, and I heard Him say these were “edicts;” orders and decrees from the King concerning justice for His people.

I saw the Lord Jesus come and hand me one such document: a white sheet of paper that outlined two things in particular for His people: Protection and Provision.

This “edict” was the Word of our King decreeing complete protection and provision throughout a time of famine on the earth, and it was given in the spirit of Justice to those who had been pleading for the Lord’s mercy and help in difficult times.

It was not until later, after the vision ended, that I noticed today’s date: 23 Sivan 5782!

A DECREE OF JUSTICE
For those unfamiliar with the Hebrew calendar, today is the day on which, in the wake of Haman’s death, King Ahasuerus signed and sealed a decree drafted by Mordecai mandating protection for the Jews and made provision for them to gather, assemble, and defend themselves against their enemies (at Purim, on the 13th day of the 12th month of Adar). In short, it is a day of justice!

As I listened to the Father to understand more, I heard Him say that He has heard even the silent cries of your hearts, when there were no words for what you were experiencing at the hand of your enemies.

He wants you to know that He is the Father of your spirits and the “man of understanding” Proverbs describes: able to discern both the thoughts and intentions of your heart. He is your “Wonderful Counselor,” not as Healer or Friend alone, but also as legal counsel releasing long-awaited decrees of justice on your behalf. Glory to God!

As you continue to abide in Christ, seeking His counsel in all things, the Holy Spirit - who is your “managing partner”-  will cause you to partner with Him to build God’s Kingdom and receive your share of the inheritance. There is no limit to the Spirit; no “cutoff” to His goodness or His anointing!

The Lord is expanding our capacity to perceive and receive the richness of what He is giving. In a time when the world screams “lack” and “insufficiency,” you will see both protection and provision that can have no other explanation but God.

WAVES OF BLESSING
I see waves of blessing washing up on your shores; waves stirred up by the Lord Himself to bring in all that you need to keep going and keep building your families, ministries, and communities.

I see the Lord’s delight in giving you all the riches of His Kingdom, wave upon wave, until you have no choice but to rejoice, to testify, and to love Him even more!

I hear the King saying that there will be a day when you will see every desire of your heart FULLY satisfied in Him: a smile on your face and a heart that sings songs of unending love and thanksgiving to Him.

You can trust that every step you take towards Him is a step in the right direction.

You can trust that one day your steps will lead you right over the threshold of this realm into a glorious eternity.

You can trust that in that place you will be forever satisfied by His glorious Presence.

And for today, you can trust that He has heard and responded to your cry for justice. Today marks the day when the enemy is put on notice. Because you have trusted God as your Defender and Avenger, He will see to it that you receive what is rightfully yours.

Amen!
Deborah

ESTHER 8:7-14:

Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, “Indeed, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he tried to lay his hand on the Jews.

You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke.”

So the king’s scribes were called at that time, in the third month, which is the month of Sivan, on the twenty-third day; and it was written, according to all that Mordecai commanded, to the Jews, the satraps, the governors, and the princes of the provinces from India to Ethiopia, one hundred and twenty-seven provinces in all, to every province in its own script, to every people in their own language, and to the Jews in their own script and language.

And he wrote in the name of King Ahasuerus, sealed it with the king’s signet ring, and sent letters by couriers on horseback, riding on royal horses bred from swift steeds.

By these letters the king permitted the Jews who were in every city to gather together and protect their lives—to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the forces of any people or province that would assault them, both little children and women, and to plunder their possessions, on one day in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.

A copy of the document was to be issued as a decree in every province and published for all people, so that the Jews would be ready on that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

The couriers who rode on royal horses went out, hastened and pressed on by the king’s command.

THE MOUNTAIN OF THE HEART

Dear Friends,

On May 26, 2022 at 2:13 AM the Holy Spirit awakened me, bringing me into what seemed to be an office or “study” where I encountered the Father. I stood by a desk and watched as the Father wrote, with silver ink, letters which appeared both on and over the page.

These “living letters” began circling above the desktop in the Spirit. Wisdom and revelation seemed to saturate the atmosphere in His “office.” I knew that each character coming from Father’s pen had a story of its own, originating in the Father’s heart, and each was very precious. I sensed that these characters represented the many people who make up the Lord’s Bride; each individual containing beautifully unique, redemptive stories of their own.

The Father told me to take one of the silver letters and “eat” it, as I might eat a scroll. As I did so, I was filled with a measure of revelation. I heard the Father say that He wanted members of His Bride to become “living epistles.” At this particular time in history, He was sending certain believers out as emissaries with very specific messages.

I had to look up this unusual word: emissary! I found that while an ambassador may reside long term in a foreign country, an emissary usually does not; instead, he or she is sent on temporary (and sometimes secret) special missions as a diplomatic representative for a government official.

FAITHFUL AND TRUE
Immediately the vision shifted and I found myself outside the Father’s office, riding behind the Lord Jesus on a white horse.

The warm, amber glow of the study faded and everything became very dark. We were surrounded by thick, billowy storm clouds; beyond them the atmosphere was pitch black.

As we rode through the heavens, I heard the Lord speak loudly and repeatedly the words: “FAITHFUL AND TRUE! FAITHFUL AND TRUE!” This phrase from Revelation 19 burned in my spirit and I saw that the Lord was leading the armies of heaven as if to war.

I heard the Spirit say: “What is desirable in a man is his fidelity (faithfulness or steadfast love); better to be a poor man than a liar.” (Proverbs 19:22) and “Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.” (Psalm 51:6; NIV says “You desired faithfulness even in the womb.”)

The Lord and those who rode with Him were to be known for their faithfulness and truth. I saw the edge of Christ’s robe which was dipped in blood. The same blood that was a covering for the saints would mean judgment for sinners.

I believe the Lord was emphasizing the qualities of purity, faithfulness, love, and honesty which marked those who rode with Him in the end time army.

Jesus did not seem bothered at all by the dark atmosphere; in the vision it seemed “right” or to be expected somehow. When I asked Him about this, the Lord said that the darkness of the end times would merely serve as a backdrop to the white horses and the brightness of His coming.

PictureA HIGH MOUNTAIN
Our ride brought us to the very top of a high, dark mountain. The mountain was almost indistinguishable from the atmosphere because of its blackness.

Trying to figure out in my mind where we were, I assumed that this must be one of the “seven mountains” of culture. I asked the Lord: “Which of the seven mountains is this?”

He replied that it was none of those. This, He said, was “The Mountain of the Heart.”

Everything suddenly went clear. I was deeply moved by the existence of such a “mountain.” It had never occurred to me that there was a “mountain of the heart,” yet the vision made perfect sense.

While identifying this “mountain” from the Lord’s perspective inspired me, I was troubled by the utter blackness of it, which I knew was not good. I saw that lovelessness, offenses, and unforgiveness had amassed, causing hearts to become hard, like mountains of stone.

As we stood together at the top, the Lord commanded me: “It is time to go down the mountain, as Moses did, to instruct the people.”

I saw that He wanted members of His remnant - especially anointed teachers in the Body of Christ - to descend boldly with His Words, just as Moses had thousands of years ago.

As I looked down toward the base of the mountain, I became aware of the chief reason for its blackness, which was the same as in Moses’ day: idolatry.

The Lord reminded me of the Mount of Transfiguration, where Christ had met with Moses and Elijah. He showed me that today, His emphasis is not on the prophets (as represented by Elijah), but on the teachers who know His law like Moses. There will be a fresh anointing on fivefold teachers who know how to “rightly divide” His Word.

These are teachers who know not just God’s Words, but also His ways. Those with the supporting character traits of faithfulness and truth; humility and love. Those who are unafraid to tackle issues that divide believers from each other and from God, so that an authentic “witness” for Christ may be rekindled.

In times of heresy and lawlessness, and in nations where the Babylonian spirit seeks to deceive even believers, people need strong teaching, not prophetic platitudes. They need wisdom-filled teachers and leaders who will prayerfully confront and bring deliverance from idolatry and faithlessness.

2 Timothy 2:24 encourages Christians to "reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling. And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing. He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth."

Scriptures from Amos 2 and Exodus 32 also came alive in my spirit. It was clear that whoever speaks to people to confront issues within the “Mountain of the Heart” will need to be absolutely true themselves, straight as a plumb line; with honesty and integrity in the inner man. Those who are able to war and win can have no compromise within them!

Believers who first commune with Jesus at the top of the “Mountain of the Lord” can then descend with an authority and radiance that will be evident as they confront the idolatries and offenses common to men’s hearts.

As Moses was backed by the Lord when opposed by the sons of Korah and Peter was defended by the Holy Spirit against Ananias and Sapphira's lies, so God will back believers who boldly proclaim His ways in times of opposition.

STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED!
People who stand firmly in these times of violence, lawlessness, lovelessness, and dishonor will be those who know God intimately. They will be diligent students of the Word, discerning truth from error. They will take seriously less palatable passages like 2 Peter 2 and the book of Jude, which warn God’s people about idolatry. They will be anointed to bring correction that leads to repentance.

These believers will see the Father’s warnings as lovingly protective, not inhibiting or restrictive! They will be marked by quick, eager repentance when the Lord calls attention to areas of their own hearts still black with sin.

The Lord is bringing forth a pure, mature Bride and a powerful end-time army of holy “emissaries:”  missionaries, messengers, and solutionists in ministry and the marketplace who are unafraid of confrontation because they are righteous IN HIM.

They will conquer the blackness of their own hearts, receive healing and forgiveness, and understand what it takes to rescue others from the same stoniness. Equipped with the Word of God, they will be  healers, teachers, and deliverers in God’s Kingdom, full of compassion, light, and fire!

With the authority of the Lord, they will say to the Mountain of the Heart, “Be removed and cast into the sea!”

And it will be done for them.

OPEN THE DOOR! YOUR HARVEST IS COMING IN!

Picture
Dear Friends,

In repeated encounters over the past few months I have heard the Lord encouraging us to “open the door” to welcome His harvest. I hear the Lord saying: “Open the door! Go, stand at the door and watch: your harvest is coming in!”

For the past year, my husband and I have taken specific steps to open the door for those God sent to worship, study, or pray with us at home - the house one visitor lovingly named “My Father’s House.”

Today, the Lord impressed me to release this word to the broader Body of Christ as well.

I sense such an expansive desire in God’s heart to reach many more souls with His love. I want to encourage you: be ready for the seeking ones God will send to your home at this time!

While the pandemic has caused some doors to close to the public, I believe the Lord desires to open new doors to families, homes, and hearts. He is welcoming those who, for various reasons, have become increasingly hungry and thirsty for His Presence.

In one vision, I saw an elaborate table set by the Father in His royal house. I saw that He had pulled out all the stops and set a table laden with good things for His people. A dividing wall between two large rooms had been broken down within His house to expand the capacity to receive His children. These hungry ones, He said, will come on buses and will be treated as kings!

Just as the father of the prodigal son welcomed His lost child home by giving him the very best from within His house, so the Father will now welcome by the busload those who are hungry and thirsty for Him again. John 1:12 is His theme: all who receive Him and believe in His Name are given the right to become children of God.

I hear the Father echoing words spoken through the apostle Paul: “I am putting no obstacles in anyone’s way… I have spoken freely to you… My heart is wide open. I am not withholding My affection from you… I speak to My children: open wide your hearts also!” (2 Corinthians 6:3;11-13).

MARYS, MARTHAS, AND JAELS
This morning, the Lord highlighted the story of Mary and Martha to me in eight simple words, saying: “Martha opened her house; Mary opened her heart.”

The Father is looking for those who will open the external doors of their homes in hospitality, as well as the interior doors of their hearts in communion. Those who do so will be rewarded.

Like Abraham, Martha excelled in the gift of hospitality. Her gift made room not for angels but for King Jesus Himself! It was Martha who eagerly ran to meet Christ when He returned to her home after Lazarus’s death.

Like the Queen of Sheba seeking king Solomon’s wisdom, Mary had a seeking heart. Her desire to listen to King Jesus opened the door to an intuitive ministry of ongoing communion with the Lord. This desire for communion later positioned Mary to be the first person in the right place at the right time after Christ’s resurrection. Speaking of Mary’s choice to seek and listen, Jesus said: “her portion will not be taken from her.” (For contrast, see Acts 8:31.)

Yet there is a third woman whose hospitality is also mentioned in the Bible.

Like Joshua, whose tabernacle worship transformed him into a mighty warrior, Jael transformed herself from a tent-dweller to a strategic soldier. She knew the power of luring the enemy onto her turf so that she could use what was available at home to her advantage. Her hospitality became an ambush, dealing deadly blows to an unsuspecting enemy!

Jael went out to greet Sisera and said to him, “Come in, my lord. Come in with me. Do not be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

Sisera said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.” So she opened a container of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.

“Stand at the entrance to the tent,” he said, “and if anyone comes and asks you, ‘Is there a man here?’ say, ‘No.’ ”

But as he lay sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She drove the peg through his temple and into the ground, and he died.

When Barak arrived in pursuit of Sisera, Jael went out to greet him and said to him, “Come, and I will show you the man you are seeking.” So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera dead, with a tent peg through his temple.

On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites. And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin, king of Canaan until they destroyed him.
(Judges 4:17-24)

Those who experience supernatural encounters and victories in our time will be hospitable in both their hearts and their homes. Like Jael, they’ll be open to showing kindness even to the enemy in their “tent!”

Romans 12:20-21 and Proverbs 25:21-22 read: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing so you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

These verses reveal an essential key for those who want to be overcomers in times of oppression. The key of hospitality will unlock the door to God’s goodness. It will release both supernatural revelation and unusual victories!

Jabin was king of Hazor, which means castle. Note the irony here: it was the weapons of Jael’s meager tent - nothing more than a tent peg and a hammer - that Jael used to kill Sisera, the commander of king Jabin’s mighty army!

I decree that the hammer of God’s Word in your hand and the “tent peg” that is Christ Himself will be sufficient to defeat those who rise up against you and your families, causing an expansion of the Kingdom of God right where you live!

Do not retreat at this critical time! It is time to enlarge your tent and strengthen your stakes so that you can dispossess the nations. Despite all the warfare coming against you, there is a door the enemy will never be able to close, and over which you retain absolute control: the door of your heart. As you open your home and heart to worship with the wandering, you will see the Lord go to battle, setting others free:

“My anger burns against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders; for the Lord Almighty will care for his flock, the people of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle. From Judah will come the cornerstone, from him the TENT PEG, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler. Together they will be like warriors in battle trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.”  ~Zechariah 10:3-5

“The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria; with his rod he will strike them down. Every stroke the Lord lays on them with his punishing club will be to the music of timbrels and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.” ~Isaiah 30:31-32

FAMILIES WITH A MISSION
In 2017, I published a prophetic word on the His Inscriptions blog concerning “Families with a Mission.” I saw that families would begin to emerge more and more as cell groups of wisdom and teaching in God’s Word; compact training grounds for the next generation.

At the time, there was no way I could have anticipated the global shutdowns we are now seeing. Yet the Lord was emphasizing to me how important both the home and the family would become to leaders training new disciples.

The Lord said then: “Families will see the need to welcome into their homes the lonely, isolated, social outcasts, spiritually lost, and even people on the fringes of society. Love will do the heavy lifting that breaks down barriers of pride, independence, fear, and rejection. Watch for these: they are “Families with a Mission!”

Make ready a place in your hearts and homes for those who will come looking for Me in you. Don’t expect the millions but the ones, for I will send you the exact number of people I know you can handle! Each of you has a part to play in this harvest, for this is not about the “superstars” but about the “common man,” the one whose simple faith in Me is enough to share with the friends I bring to his door. “Feed My sheep” is a mandate for the church in this hour!

The door of God’s heart is open wide to people He has created and dearly loves. Christ IS the door that stands open to all who will come to Him!

Some of you are being called to open the door of your heart to a supernatural secret place. You have an invitation to lay aside distractions and enter into the deeper place of heart-to-heart communion with your Bridegroom. Some are being invited to open the door of your house to host a Bible study or a home group. Finally, some who have been hindered by fear or delayed by warfare need to respond to the Lord's command to advance, not retreat, at this time. The Lord wants to give you victory through your obedience, ambushing the enemy right in your own home!

Today, I believe Christ is knocking at the doors of many homes and hearts, inviting us to receive timely supernatural encounters, unexpected victories, and unusual expansion for the Kingdom. One question remains:

When you hear Him, will you open the door? Will you welcome those He sends?
