A NEW 'JESUS REVOLUTION'

...With righteousness, He will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; and He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips, He will slay the wicked. Also, righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist. And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little boy will lead them.
~ Isaiah 11:4-6 NASB



In a time of prayer this week, I felt the Father’s heart weeping over the many youths who are just beginning to receive personal revival in this new “Jesus Revolution.” These are the Daniels and Jeremiahs of a new generation who will do great exploits! 

The Lord showed me that many of these young people have been neglected by their parents and previous generations. Now God is reaching out His hand in what He called a “rescue operation” for a chosen generation of warriors reserved for Himself!  

These youths are rising up in the wake of witchcraft, amidst the refuse of rebellion. They are rising up to vindicate their peers and show God strong on their behalf. 

Where they have been left to fend for themselves against an enemy too strong for them, God is now taking over. God is reaping His harvest of souls right alongside believers whose hearts have honored Him by praying for the prodigals, the disenfranchised, and the marginalized.
 
This revival of love is an open invitation to today’s youth to receive an inheritance that in some cases was denied them. They will quickly see that Someone is making a way for them, providing all that they rightfully deserve from a new Source they perhaps did not know before. Where the world has run out on them, God is providing because they are His children! 

The Lord showed me that this is a hungry generation, yet often we have not perceived the depth of their hunger or pain. We have thought them ready for today’s challenges, yet they are still in need. We have thought them very capable, yet they still lack certain abilities and resources within themselves to deal with societies that no longer adhere to truth or righteousness. 

I heard the Lord say that He is stepping in to do a “great reset” in the hearts of these youths, converting them back to standards He desired in the first place.

These young ones He called the “trendsetters” of faith: pioneers of ancient paths, new to them, that lead people back to God’s heart! They will challenge even the spirit of death that has hovered around their generation. They will lead other youths away from ‘dead ends’ that bear no fruit. 

I heard the Lord issuing a charge to the Church: “Do not in any way fear what is happening among the youth! Instead, honor their hearts for righteousness and authenticity in a world gone mad. Honor their desire for wisdom and truth, for they will seek and find what they most desire. 

I am releasing a spirit of adventure into the hearts of a generation that will find satisfaction not in reckless exterior pursuits, but in relentless spiritual pursuits! They are the Davids of this time: extravagant worshipers jealous for what is right and true!” 

God is pulling the youth out of their “caves” of hiding. He will use these new young worshipers to shatter hearts that have grown dull to His voice.

Revolution of any kind shocks the system.

AWAKENING, REVIVAL, AND GLORY

For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts. The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD  of hosts.’” ~ Haggai 2:6-9, ESV


On January 28, 2023, as I ministered at a Winter Revival in Tennessee, I saw a vision during worship of abundant golden glory being poured out from two massive, angelic hands into the sanctuary. I heard the sound of this ‘release’ in the Spirit and felt a substantial shift in the atmosphere.  

As I went up on stage to minister, the presence and power of God increased so dramatically that I was compelled to set aside my message. 

The spirit of prophecy overtook me, and a “wave” of glory seemed to saturate the entire building. For the next twelve minutes as the congregation continued to worship and the anointing flowed, I ministered to as many people as humanly possible. It’s hard to describe just how extraordinary this time was! 

Many were touched, and God’s power remained throughout the weekend as I and others continued to worship, speak, and pray. 

We saw healing and deliverance take place for children as young as four years old and adults in their 70s. One teenager who asked for prayer was so overcome, shaking under the power of the Holy Spirit, that I doubt he will ever be the same! 

I have not seen this kind of outpouring since the 1990s in Toronto. Many of the youth that weekend did not even know what Toronto or Brownsville represented to our faith; I realized they were too young to have experienced those movements.  

Since that weekend, I have heard of several other such manifestations of God’s power and glory in various places. I believe we are now seeing the beginnings of a Great Awakening that has been anticipated for many years!


WORDS FOR THE REMNANT
About a week after I returned from Tennessee, on February 8, 2023, the Lord met me during my private worship time. He asked me to transcribe, word for word, some thoughts about revival for the Body of Christ. I believe these words are meant to both encourage and caution us as we move forward into a glorious time, unlike any other seen on earth!  

“What you believe determines the course of your destiny. Those who remain in unbelief will NOT move forward at this time and will miss the beauty and majesty of what I am about to do! 

“Power will be poured out; religious captives set free, and 'mercenaries' who have exploited My people will see their own downfall. Judgment and revival will happen simultaneously, and at times there will seem to be such “chaos” that it feels confusing to you. Remember that I am Lord over all, and this - in My sovereignty - is organized chaos. Let the chips fall where they may. Do not be surprised when revival seems to have a ‘cutting edge’ to it, for it will be Me doing the cutting while you receive the benefits. 

“Those who honor Me I will honor. Those who sow disrespect and dishonor reap the penalties of such behaviors. No one is exempt from My mercies OR My disciplines. Do not be surprised at the fiery burnings that take place; you will see those who burn with love for Me AND those who are burnt by the sequence of events around the world. Look only to Me for your sustenance and all will be well. Look to man and you will be sorely disappointed! 

“I will awaken and I will heal. Entire households will be saved! Those who stand for the ONE [Jesus] will receive MANY as their harvest! A great harvest is yours to reap; only continue to do what I show you and no more. 

“As Israel was told not to reap to the edges of their fields, so confine yourselves to the areas or spheres of influence to which you have been assigned; do not seek to do more than My grace allows! This will be protection for you and a blessing left for others. 

“I want ALL My Kingdom children to experience the JOY of harvest, yet all must know what they are able to handle. Do not take up more in your hands than your strength permits you to carry at this time; the temptation will be to do too much and then to fall. [The enemy still seeks to weary you.] Remain within the boundaries I have carefully set for you and you will abide in a place of peace and protection. 

“Do not be misled by excitement or emotion. Come to Me daily for guidance and remain within earshot of My voice, which is wisdom for your life and light for your path. While it will seem that there are now multiple paths for the release of My glory, in truth, there is but ONE path for YOUR feet to travel. See that you keep your feet on the path My Spirit highlights for you at this time! This will help you avoid the “collisions” the enemy wants to create between you and other believers, and will keep you out of his dirty ditches. 

“I have not forgotten you! Every believer has a part to play in this new awakening and all can hear the sound of wisdom’s call at the right moments. Keep watching; keep listening, for I will show you what to do. Joy will be your constant friend and partner, filling you with strength for what is to come!”


REVIVAL, JUDGMENT, AND AN "ECONOMIC EARTHQUAKE"
As the above transcription from the Lord indicates, revival and judgment often happen simultaneously. Charles Dickens’ words “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…” still hold true for us today! 

On January 24, 2010, at the end of a 21-day fast, my husband and I had a two-hour angelic visitation in which we were told of significant events to come, including an “economic earthquake.” 

We learned that just as Haiti had been devastated by a recent earthquake [on January 12, 2010], we could expect the global financial system to collapse. 

Note: Haiti’s 2010 earthquake registered lower than this week’s event in Turkey (Haiti’s 7.0 to Turkey’s 7.5 on the seismic scale). Yet it caused an astonishing 300,000 deaths to Turkey’s 21,000 and counting. 

The Lord said that the economic system as we knew it would crumble in a God-ordained “shaking” that was designed to bring a “reset” to faulty systems founded on greed, profit, and oppression. We saw some isolated economic downturns and crashes in the years that followed, but nothing on a massive global scale until recently. 

The earthquake this week serves as a reminder that our world systems, whether economic, governmental, or religious, are extremely fragile. In love, God warns His people about such things so that we may be prepared! 

In our 2010 encounter, the Lord highlighted portions of Haggai 1 and Jeremiah 2 even as He urged us to ‘remember Hezekiah’ [2 Chronicles 29-35].

Hezekiah was given a death sentence, but put his house back in order and then saw personal healing, national deliverance, and a 15-year reprieve in answer to his prayers.  

God emphasized to me that while judgment might come for those who dishonor what is holy, He intends to spare the remnant, raising up the Body of Christ like beacons and lighthouses.

The Body of Christ is meant to be a sign during shakings, just as when the power went out in Egypt, the lights stayed on in Goshen. Nations will look to the Church they have oppressed, and the Church will shine! 

Haggai 1 describes the connection between economic collapse (individual or corporate) and a failure to honor the house of the Lord. Yet the same chapter also commends an obedient remnant who obeys the voice of God and begins to walk in the Fear of the Lord (1:12). 

I believe the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord is being awakened in us today. Haggai's promised result of obedience is twofold: the Lord will be PRESENT with His remnant and the Lord will STIR UP THE SPIRIT of the remnant! (Haggai 1:14.)


SHAKING, BLOWING, BURNING
I was told [in the 2010 encounter] that a “new world order” was then in its infancy, but was emerging. At the time I did not even know what the “new world order’ was! 

I heard that from the “south of America” [which likely speaks of the southern border], something would come that brought a great change to the nation of America. 

After this “shaking” would come a “blowing” away of all the rubble as the Lord performed a great “reset.” Then a “burning,” which resembled in the vision a branding of that which was meant to be “Holy to the Lord.” As Haggai writes, the silver and gold belong to the Lord.  

God's economic system operates by principles of the heart. As the Acts church demonstrates, when we work according to God's systems, there is no lack. 

The goal of this “shaking, blowing, and burning” process was not to destroy but to remove what was oppressive so that restoration and rebuilding according to God’s heart could take place. 

Both devastation and restoration seem the same at first, yet restoration’s chaos has a purpose: to rebuild something better or stronger than before. 

Throughout this earlier encounter, there was such a sense of the SOVEREIGNTY of God in the midst of chaos! The world’s economic and political systems are nothing to God. Corrupt, deep-state leaders who seem larger than life are as easily turned as Pharaoh was! 

The role of the Body remains to worship and praise God, who by these wonderful outpourings is now filling His people with strength and joy! In times of revival and judgment, we will see many people fall, but we will also realize that our enemies are powerless against an omnipotent God. 

We have arrived at a critical moment of shaking, awakening, and glory that will soon sweep the earth. Prepare. Set your house in order. Be ready to receive the harvest God is giving YOU to bring in.

Do not fear the chaos you see as revival and judgment happen simultaneously. Trust in the Lord, who makes a path through the sea and a way in the wilderness. Rejoice in the power and joy that is now being poured out on your behalf!

"PROPHETIC SPECIALISTS" ARE ARISING!

​Early this morning, Holy Spirit awakened me and began speaking about specific types of prophets that are going to arise. He called them “Prophetic Specialists.” 
​
These "prophetic specialists" will be trained in the School of the Holy Spirit to carry anointings and words of knowledge unique to specific or unusual situations. They will be so accurate in their giftings that the words of truth they deliver will be considered signs and wonders in themselves! 

The Spirit took me to the book of Ezekiel 40-42, where a description of the unbuilt (likely millennial) temple includes measurements of gateways, the altar, and city and governmental boundaries in highly specific, mathematical dimensions.

This, Holy Spirit said, indicated the degree of specificity that the Lord intends to release through a new class of prophets. 

The Lord will respond to the enemy’s heightened attacks and demonic expansion with increased signs and wonders from heaven. Detailed words of knowledge and specific prophecies will help minimize hindrances as the Bride of Christ moves toward her desired goals and objectives.

​PROPHETS WHO ESTABLISH BOUNDARIES
I heard the Lord say: “Prophets are meant to set the boundaries.”

The Lord is incredibly specific about what He prophesies. In partnership with Holy Spirit, God means for prophets to set boundaries that bring protection to His people. 

Once these heavenly parameters (or “blueprints”) are seen and defined, apostles along with the rest of the Body can begin to ‘build according to spec.’

​Whether taken literally or as a symbolic “blueprint” for believers’ hearts, Ezekiel’s temple is one such example.
​

​GOD’S “SCOPE OF WORK”
I was next told to study the phrase “scope of work.”

I began to study prophecy as it connected to scopes of work (project boundaries) in business. The similarities were striking. 

In the marketplace, a ‘scope of work’ defines the parameters for a given project. It describes needs, goals, objectives, limitations, resources, and timelines.

A scope of work is an action plan communicated by a project manager to those who will put the plan into action. As with covenantal prophetic promises, each party to a ‘scope of work’ statement has a part to play in the accomplishment of specific objectives.

Spiritually, God communicates detailed words concerning aspects of an individual’s life through His prophets. The recipients of a prophecy then know how to move forward towards this defined objective set by the Lord.

Just as in the marketplace, resources, limitations, and even timetables may be included in a prophetic scope of work, helping believers to focus on their individual roles and callings as they build God’s Kingdom.

Holy Spirit, of course, becomes the divine “Project Manager.”

​BUILDING TO ‘SPEC’
As the Lord continued to speak to me, I saw that incredibly specific words will come out of the mouths of these anointed prophets. Times, dates, and details will be sharp and clear in the Spirit as these messengers of God's heart come into the place of His counsel.

God is releasing a strong anointing for clarity, precision, and accuracy. That precision itself will be a sign and a wonder to the world, which is walking deeper and deeper into confusion.

Matthew 16:18 says that Christ builds His church on this "Rock" of revealed knowledge:
​

Revelation-based churches are going to arise en masse as people continue to leave traditional denominationalism en masse. Holy Spirit will meet the need for fellowship, in part, by raising up new apostolic-prophetic centers and providing foundational resources for guidance and protection.

As I contemplated these things, especially the idea of prophetic accuracy never seen before, the Lord stated: “You can take this to the bank!”

I asked the Lord to clarify exactly what He meant. 

In response, He brought to mind Jehoshaphat’s words to Israel in 2 Chronicles 20:20. Before going into battle with Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir, the king said: “Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established. Believe His prophets; so shall you prosper.”

As in many biblical stories of victory in battle, faith in the revealed words of Christ will set parameters and establish protection for the Body moving forward. Honoring the prophecies spoken over your life is one key to financial prosperity and protection in times of economic depression! 

We are moving from a time when general words and overarching principles will no longer be sufficient for guidance. Highly specific instructions will be needed for believers to live successfully in an end-time corrupt world.

PROPHETIC "MASTER'S DEGREES"
The new breed of prophets God is raising up will be specialists; not generalists.

​Instead of being a “jack of all trades and master of none,” they will be considered masters in their areas of expertise. They will walk in high levels of sharp discernment and accurate perception. 

These prophets will be given ‘Master's degrees’ in the School of the Spirit. This will cause them to be sought after for their specialized knowledge in various aspects of the Kingdom of God. These ‘specialists’ will wage war not at ground level, but from higher places of supernatural wisdom and perspective in the Spirit. Their strategies will be no match for the enemy! 

​​PROPHETS WHO OUTWIT AND OUTPERFORM
Those who receive this specialized prophetic training from the Lord will outwit and outperform their demonic counterparts. Like Daniel and his friends, they will be tried, tested, and approved as sons of excellence; inspired by God; flawless in their integrity.



The only use of the word “specify” in the Bible occurs in the book of Daniel. It mentions the king's specifications concerning the timing of Daniel and his friends’ presentation at court. While there is no word for “specialists,” the Bible does speak of “experts” in religious law along with “skilled” artisans and craftsmen like Bezalel. (See Luke 11:45 & Exodus 36-39.)

Notice, however, that Daniel 8:24 says in the end times, Satan will raise up skilled specialists. A king will arise, he says, who is “skilled in intrigue:”

While historically this refers to Antiochus Epiphanes and his brutality, symbolically this speaks of the Antichrist, full of deception. 

Yet wisdom, too, is shrewd, and disciplined sons of God who walk in skilled wisdom will outperform those who are skilled in intrigue. In a time of unbridled deceit, the truth will become a sign and a wonder.

A VISION OF PROPHETS ARISING
Holy Spirit brought me into a time of intercession, contending for these next-generation prophets to be brought forth. God is now calling them into the School of the Holy Spirit! 

As I interceded, I saw a vision of these “prophetic specialists” emerging in various places in the coming days. They were arising here and there in various places as if in a continuous, timely stream governed by the Lord.

Their arising happened in response to increased witchcraft and divination in the nation. I saw that God would use these prophets to set and establish boundaries for His people, protecting holy ones from turning to sorcery and divination as they deciphered their future. Their wisdom would be greatly needed.

I saw these prophets being raised up out of the ground in slow motion, as if through time-lapse photography. I saw that one prophet would rise up and then recede into the background as another rose up nearby, in a different location. As a second prophet rose and then faded from view, a third prophet would stand up for a time, and so on. All these were in the same approximate region, yet none stood in the same place as another. In order to follow the prophets, God’s people would need to be on the alert, watching to see where the voice of the Lord was arising next. 

Although I did not have a sense of the timing of their rise and release, it seemed in the vision that there would never be a time when there was not a prophet; as soon as one prophet began to fade into the background, another appeared. 

Deuteronomy 18:15,18 NASBS - “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.” …l will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him."

Each of these prophets wore black (illustrating their call to grieve for the sins of the nation), and each stood straight as a rod, indicating right alignment and a “true" measure. They were meant to be “signposts” or markers for the Body of Christ. To move toward their various locations was also to be redirected away from hidden “minefields” on the land: potentially explosive situations that could damage the Lord’s beloved people. 

I believe the Lord is responding to the enemy's heightened attacks at this time with increased signs and wonders, detailed words of knowledge, and timely prophecies that will help the Body of Christ move toward God’s desired goals and objectives. 

I believe prophetic voices will become more accurate and specific now than ever before in history.

As the enemy’s deception increases, so the voice of the Lord will become more succinct for all those who choose to listen!

PRAY WITH ME: 

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will bring forth an army of skilled “prophetic specialists” at this time. We pray for the emergence of disciplined sons and daughters of the King, whose excellence and intimacy with You will release strategies so specific they will be considered signs and wonders in the earth - works of art coming from the mind of a Master! 

We pray for a greater impartation of precise revelatory words of knowledge that will be a blessing to their recipients. Thank You for Word-sharpened accuracy and discernment among those You have called as prophets. Thank you for next-generation voices now being trained in the School of the Spirit.

May your boundaries of holiness be established in individuals, churches, and nations according to heaven’s ‘scope of work’ for this hour! Let Your revealed truth keep us unmoved by deception. Keep and shield us through the intimate knowledge of your dear Son.

TO WIN THE WAR, YOU MUST SURRENDER!

​Dear Friends:

In this Jewish month of Tevet, I believe the Lord is challenging His Beloved not just to grow up, but to give up! He is looking for those whose hearts are fully surrendered, or given up, to Him.

God's desire for your wholeheartedness is not selfish. In fact, it is your best form of protection. Your choice can be a matter of life and death.

As a Christian, the war you fight against a satanic enemy is a war over your heart. All other wars are rooted in this foundational battle over the dominion and territory of the heart. (See James 4:1-4.) God wants you to win this war. ​Yet in order to win the war, you must humble yourself and surrender to God. To fail to surrender is to become God's enemy.

The Lord once said to me: “A surrendered heart is all I need. No matter what you are going through, your surrender to Me is the key to victory. You may not have all the answers; you may not even see the way ahead of you, but a simple surrendering of yourself once again is the yieldedness that will allow Me to move you forward.” 
​DEMONIC DECEPTION
We are living in a time that the book of Jude describes as filled with great deception. This deception looks like love but infiltrates the ranks of believers with antichrist agendas founded on compromise. 

Daily now, we face choices of whether to surrender ourselves to compromise and complacency or to give our unconditional obedience to Jesus Christ. These choices are increasingly becoming a matter of life and death to our spirits, souls, and bodies.

Many Christians do not realize the power of their intimacy with Christ! Nor will they take to heart Christ's words to believers   (this is us!) living in the end times. For example:

Falling away from your First Love results in God's enmity; He will oppose you and the "ministries" you build around yourself (Revelation 2:4-5).Immorality, idoltatry, greed, and holding to false teachings cause the One who is Faithful and True to be at war with you (Revelation 2:14-16).Tolerating Jezebel's immorality brings curses of sickness, tribulation, and death, which leaves you no godly lineage (Revelation 2:20-23).Lukewarm, passionless Christianity sickens the Lord (Revelation 3:16).​
The enemy knows that every compromise and partnership with unholy things renders you useless and unfruitful in your power and witness for the Lord. Therefore, whether faced with lovelessness or lawlessness, you must remain part of this spiritual war's "resistance" effort. 

​The only way to resist a spiritual enemy is to submit to God.   
​
​INTIMATE SUBMISSION

Because submission is unpalatable for most people outside of true intimacy, the Lord gave me a word several years ago of what intimacy and submission look like to Him.

As the Lord spoke this word, I saw two visions: the first was of the Lord dancing with His Bride; leading her across a dance floor with His steps.

Although they began at one end of a crowded, chaotic room, as the Bride surrendered to the Bridegroom's lead in the dance, she was automatically led to the opposite end of the dance floor. This side of the room was quieter and refreshingly empty.

Without even realizing it, the intimacy of the "dancing" the Bride deposited her in the place of peace she needed to be. Yet her gaze had been solely on her Beloved!

The second vision was of a child's game: a “trust walk,” where someone is blindfolded and must yield and listen to the guidance of the one who sees. In this vision, the voice of Jesus was guiding His Bride.

I heard the Lord say:

“When you cannot see what I am doing, you come to trust more deeply in My gentle touches, which become a love language more powerful than any words can convey. I am sensitizing you to the slightest movements; the slightest impressions of My touch, so that you are able to instinctively follow where I lead without needing to see or understand. Your responses will become automatic and there will be less need for explanation simply because you trust Me deeply. 

“The enemy would like to frustrate you in places where sight is hindered. Instead of yielding to his pressure and frustration, yield to the gentle impressions I am giving. Lean into what you know is of Me, and your sensitivity to My promptings will grow stronger, even in the face of demonic taunts. 

“You will not perceive your own progress at times; it will seem to you that you are going in circles, when in fact you’ll find that I have all the time been moving you across the floor, out of the crowded chaos and into a place of intimacy and peace with Me. 

“Do not fear the darkness. Fear losing touch with Me!”


As times grow darker, my prayer for each reader of His Inscriptions is that you will win the war through a continued willingness to surrender.

May you never fear the enemy, and may you never reject the kind of intimate submission to God that counters demonic deception.

​If you keep your gaze on God, He will always guide you, even silently with His eyes (Psalm 32:8). He has promised never to leave you without support (Hebrews 11:3).

May your gaze be so fixed on the Lover of your soul that every form of war, chaos, and confusion falls subject to the beauty and intimacy you share with only Him.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM HIS INSCRIPTIONS!

Dear Friends, 

Kevan and I are looking forward to spending some quality time with our three grown boys this week, one of whom returns home from college tomorrow.

Before I clean house and do some cooking for the holiday, I want to encourage you with a brief testimony and a word from the Lord! 

Last Thursday, I served Thanksgiving dinner to the residents at Teen Challenge in Taunton, MA along with a team from CedarWood Realty Group. Teen Challenge is celebrating the first Thanksgiving in their new group home, and I can honestly say it was the best Thanksgiving ever! (Pics above.)

These young women know what it means to be grateful; many of the ladies have gone through countless detox programs seeking freedom from alcohol or drugs, only to relapse again and again. 

Yet once the women put JESUS at the center of their healing process, everything changes! Their hearts overflow with God’s grace - grace that can only come through deliverance from sin! 

We spent the mealtime hearing powerful testimonies. At one point during the meal, someone wanted to pray, and every woman at the table prayed with hands raised to Jesus as He took His place in our midst. It felt like heaven on earth as we lifted Christ up in unified praise and thanksgiving; a family drawn together and united through His blood! 

As I reflected on my time at Teen Challenge, the Lord highlighted one simple truth that applies to all: Thanksgiving is a byproduct of deliverance . 

The first Thanksgivings celebrated great deliverances, even from war:

The original Thanksgiving happened after a year in which many Pilgrims were dying of scurvy and disease. God mercifully sent Squanto to teach the Pilgrims how to plant successful crops and build relationships with the Wampanoag Indians. Thanksgiving was the Pilgrims’ first harvest: a celebration of life and a very real deliverance from death!The second Thanksgiving, celebrated in 1623, came after a long drought and much fasting for help and deliverance by the Pilgrims. Congress and early Presidents designated subsequent Thanksgivings to honor God for deliverance from the Revolutionary War and the ratification of our independence from Britain. Finally, Thanksgiving became a national holiday during the Civil War. Notice that it was President Abraham Lincoln - the emancipator of slaves - who asked Americans to “commend to [God’s] tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife” and to “heal the wounds of the nation.” What a prophetic picture! 
For all that’s happening in our world today, I believe this Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to remember that our God is still our Deliverer! 

For those of you who feel bound by the enemy in any area of your life, or are praying for unbelieving family members, the Lord gave me Isaiah 49, which contains wonderful promises about our Mighty Deliverer: 

‘This is what the LORD says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.”’ (Isaiah 49:25)

Jesus comes as Restorer, Deliverer, and Covenant-Keeper, faithfully upholding God’s covenant of peace with us even when we fail Him (See Isaiah 49:8). He contends for us against all our enemies: 
  JESUS sets people free from demonic chains and torture (Mark 5:1-15).​
JESUS cures the sick and frees them from infirmities (Luke 13:16).JESUS raises the dead from captivity - even those confined to Hades  (Eph. 4:8).JESUS releases people from bondage to the law and sin  (John 8:33-36, Gal. 3:22-23).JESUS was, is, and will forever be the source of our praise, worthy of all our thanksgiving!  
I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who has prayed for and supported His Inscriptions and our family over the years! May Jesus be at the center of your hearts and your celebrations this week as you worship  Him - our Mighty Deliverer!!

WANTED: A HEART WITHOUT HOLES!

Dear Friends,

In a series of encounters over the past few weeks, the Lord has been speaking strongly to me about the power of His overshadowing glory in believers’ lives, along with the importance of our wholehearted devotion.  

As I studied and prayed about God’s glory, the Lord took me into scriptures concerning Mary and Elizabeth, first opening my understanding to the true power of Mary’s first encounter with the Holy Spirit.

OVERSHADOWED WITH GLORY!
In Luke 1:35, Gabriel announces to Mary: “The power of the Most High will overshadow you like a cloud; for that reason, the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.” 

Most people are familiar with Mary's story of supernatural conception. Mary was not intimate with any man. Yet we know that she found grace and favor for intimacy with God. She wholeheartedly responded to God in faith, and the angel said God was “with her.” However, we often overlook three related miracles that occur after Mary's intimate “overshadowing” in the Glory of God. 

After Mary's encounter, she hurries to the house of Elizabeth, her cousin. Before Mary can even begin to explain what God has done in her, the Bible says that the SOUND of Mary's greeting causes baby John (John the Baptist) to leap in Elizabeth’s womb.

There is an anointed SOUND OF GLORY in Mary’s voice that is so distinct, it causes an unborn child’s spirit to respond. Not only that, but Elizabeth herself is also filled with the Holy Spirit at the SOUND of Mary's “hello!” 

This pre-Pentecost filling with the Holy Spirit is significant all by itself! Yet God does one more miracle to confirm the legitimacy of Mary’s supernatural intimacy with Him.

After 400 years of silence on the prophetic front, a newly Spirit-filled Elizabeth begins to prophesy to Mary, saying: 

“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.” (Luke 1:42-25)

Remember that Mary has not even sat down yet in Elizabeth’s home to share her glorious  “God-encounter!” Before Elizabeth knows intellectually what’s happened, she is baptized in the Holy Spirit through the SOUND of glory in Mary’s voice! 

The Spirit of God ambushes Mary and Elizabeth, releasing unprecedented, prophetic confirmation of God’s glorious work and removing any doubt concerning His future plans being birthed within them! 

How I would love to read Mary’s personal journal, if she kept one, of her experiences with the Lord during that time! Mary’s “Magnificat” (Luke 1:46-56) is the only written record we have of the tremendous gratitude in her heart for God, who was doing such mighty things.

The sound of glory is a spiritual frequency that is tangible and transformative when released. Because of your faith in Christ, God is WITH YOU as He was with Mary, and it is HIS sound that God wants to release through YOUR voice in this hour! 

The “tsunami” of glory covering the earth will be, in part, an anointed SOUND WAVE of unified believers’ voices raised in worship to the King of Glory! The high frequency of the corporate sound of praise will displace God’s enemies! 

Throughout the New Testament, we find a special place in Christ’s heart for believers who are wholeheartedly “with God” birthing, weeping over, and faithfully expecting miracles from God. It is Mary whom Jesus honors by doing his first miracle at Cana. It is Mary Magdalene, waiting at His tomb, to whom Jesus first appears after His resurrection. 

I hear the Lord saying today: “Overshadowing always leads to an overflowing, and I am not finished overshadowing My people!” The glory that you long for is is found first in your intimacy with Him.

​​WANTED: A HEART WITHOUT HOLES!
Just as wholehearted intimacy leads to an outpouring of God’s glorious Presence, so halfhearted worship opens the doors of our hearts to the enemy. 

The Lord brought me to the scriptures in Haggai and Malachi concerning “robbing” God and the “bag of money with holes.” 

These post-exilic prophets of restoration warn about the dangers of neglecting God and not bringing the full tithe into His storehouse. A divided heart is equal to “robbing God.” Selfishness brings curses and lack - like filling a bag of holes with money and then wondering why God does not bless your finances! 

Even in the context of New Testament grace, the danger of a divided heart remains. Half-hearted, hypocritical “honoring” of God results not just in lack but in death.

For example, in Acts 4, Joseph of Cyprus (later nicknamed Barnabas) sells a field and lays the full proceeds of the sale at the apostles’ feet, encouraging and financing the early church (Acts 4:36-37). Later, we see the Holy Spirit promoting Barnabas as a missionary and co-laborer with Paul. He sows good seed and reaps an international harvest of souls.

Just one verse later in Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira imitate Joseph’s initial offering, but they bring only a portion of their sale to the apostles. Their hearts are “holey” - greed and secrecy open them up to the enemy’s infiltration. This unfortunate couple is quite literally “slain” by the Spirit, each to their deaths. 

The lesson is that holiness, unity, and an honorable reputation cannot be bought at the discounted price of lies and selfish ambition. God's anointing, glory, and favor come at cost. 

The Lord is emphasizing these scriptures not just financially but also relationally right now. God is not after a portion of our hearts, but the whole! Failure to maintain intimacy with God in these end times could mean the difference between life and death.

​CAN WHOLEHEARTEDNESS SAVE A NATION?
Jesus’ words to the church in Ephesus (Revelation 2) show that offering our hearts to Him in “first love” intimacy is a serious issue, worthy of our repentance. Especially now, God wants to overshadow His wholehearted lovers with supernatural encounters and love - the only love that can sustain you in times of trial! 

In 2 Chronicles 16:9, Hanani the seer prophesies to King Asa: “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His. You (Asa) have acted foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you will have wars.” (2 Chronicles 16:10; emphasis mine.)

As with King Asa, a wholehearted return to God is essential at this time, not only for personal benefit but also to protect our nation from war. 

King Asa was a reformer and restorer who saw no wars until the 35th year of his reign (2 Chronicles 15:19). It was the turning of his heart away from reliance on God that caused his downfall, both personally and politically. 

Today, when national leaders are failing to honor God and war is imminent, it is critical for believers to remain wholehearted, offering prayers of true consecration and repentance. The condition of our hearts, entwined with the Lord’s in fervent prayer, can stop a war! (See 2 Chronicles 20)

James writes: “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.” (James 4:1-3.)    

Jesus died to restore an intimate dialogue with you. He fills you with the Holy Spirit not just in temporary "overshadowings" but as a permanent resident within you! He's searching for those who have no "holes" in their hearts - who are ready to give all of themselves so that they can receive all that He wants to pour out on this earth! 

Jesus left all to give all to you! Today, will you surrender like Mary did, giving Jesus all of you?

*Are you satisfied with partial devotion? Are you living wholeheartedly before the Lord, or does your heart resemble a bag full of holes? 

*Acts 4:13 says that unbelievers recognized that Peter and John had “been with Jesus.” Do others recognize that you have a relationship with the Lord? Is His overshadowing Presence evident in your life? Why or why not? (Consider trying the 30-day “Just Jesus” challenge to restore deeper intimacy with the Lord!)

*Take time to study the passages mentioned above: Luke 1, Acts 4, Luke 7:36-50, John 20, and Revelation 2:1-7. What is the Lord speaking to you through these passages? 

*2 Chronicles 20 tells the story of a national leader’s response in the face of war. What was the condition of Jeshoshaphat’s heart? How do you see the Spirit at work in this passage? What was the end result?

JUST JESUS!

Dear Friends, 

Two weeks ago the Lord asked me to call a dear friend, a watchman/intercessor I highly respect, to deliver a very simple challenge:  "Just Jesus."

Those two words, the Lord said, were an invitation for my friend to close the doors temporarily on all external sources of "noise" or information-gathering in order to recalibrate the ears to just one sound: the voice of God.

I knew this would not be easy; turning off phones, news, YouTube, and even the Kingdom sounds of other prophetic voices is a daunting task today! Yet I saw the Lord sitting patiently and quietly nearby, waiting - as any good guest might - for His Brides' full attention. 


Christ's invitation was not meant to be a punishment to my friend, but a challenge. In fact, I heard the Lord say that if this already-mighty prayer warrior would spend the following 30 days listening to Just Jesus, there would be a marked increase in the blessings He would pour out and the JOY that would be experienced! 

I delivered the word to this seasoned watchman, who gladly received the challenge. And why not?! The King of Kings delights to speak to us - what a privilege to receive a special and very personal invitation into His Presence!

The following night, when I sat down with the Lord again, He invited me to do the same. 

In fact, Jesus said that it was His desire for me to share these two words, "Just Jesus," with everyone connected to our His Inscriptions ministry; this was not a word for one, but a word for all! 

A week later I received a surprising confirmation. Kim Potter shared a nearly identical invitation on IFA's website, writing: "As I sought the Lord, He impressed upon me to set apart 30 days to spend with Him and in His word. ...Though the enemy relentlessly attempts to weary God’s people, God has already given us the antidote for this poison: It is found in His word and in spending intimate time with Him; it comes through keeping our mind stayed upon God; it is the reward of listening to Him more than we do the world and its media." I don't think the timing of this invitation is an accident!

Many of us have just walked through an intense season of personal and corporate warfare. In an attempt to understand our rapidly-changing world, we have had to "tune in" to voices we perhaps didn't want to hear, as well as those we do. As some have noted, we are now fighting what is best described as an "information war," which has new and unique challenges of its own. Speaking of the end times, Jesus cautions: "See to it that you are not deceived." (Matthew 24:4) 

I believe it's critical that the message we hear and convey is Just Jesus. Those of you who have separated yourselves from the world as believers wholly devoted to God already "soar" in the Spirit. Yet in times of turbulence or storm, the best antidote, as Kim writes, is to climb to a higher altitude by being with Just Jesus. In addition to the renewed hope and joy we experience in Him, our heightened position in the Spirit leads to a much better perspective and foolproof protection. (Ps. 91; Ecc. 7:12.)

As a result of their extended time with the Lord, the early apostles knew the value of preaching, teaching, and healing only through what they heard in that one Name. (Acts 4:20-31.) They trusted that their relationship with Jesus was enough as they navigated both deception and persecution. Paul wrote that he abandoned everything for Christ; all his prior knowledge was rubbish to him except the knowledge of the Son of God.  

Is the powerful message of the cross the dominant message in your mouth today, or has it been preempted by other messages? Jesus was publicly humiliated for His faith; are you willing to publicly proclaim what the world is saying should be kept subjective and private? 

When Spirit-saturated believers exalt the name of Jesus, ALL mankind will be drawn to His goodness! I believe this 30-day time period is meant to saturate and empower you to gather in your portion of the great harvest, just as the apostles did!

Will you allow the Lord to show you what Just Jesus means for you?

If you accept His invitation, Holy Spirit will give you wisdom to know how to "recalibrate;" combat "information stimulation" and overcome the weariness of deception. You'll have the joy and peace you need to continue on the next leg of this journey.

Will you gladly embrace, as my friend did, Just Jesus?

GOVERNING IN GLORY

Dear Friends, 

During a prayer retreat before Rosh Hashanah / New Year 5783, I experienced several profound encounters in the Glory of God. These are some of the things the Lord revealed to me during that time. 

Every word from our Lord’s mouth is like a cup of compassion. His life-giving words are liquid love, meant to sustain body, soul, and spirit!

While this is a slightly longer word for the year, I encourage you to meditate on each portion of what He’s shared with me, allowing the depth of His wisdom and love to penetrate your hearts.

The eight sections of this word are listed below. Feel free to read one section at a time, pausing to pray and allow Holy Spirit to minister truth to you at this significant time!

​THERE’S GLORY IN THE SOUND! MOVING FROM SUBSONIC TO SUPERSONIC
​
I hear the Lord saying repeatedly: “There’s GLORY in the SOUND!” 

Just as immersion rapidly births language fluency, so total immersion in the sound of God’s Kingdom produces glory. Hearing the Word, praying in the Spirit, and worshiping  produces supernatural acceleration in you! It deafens the enemy and releases the cloud of God’s glory! 

During a personal prayer retreat in September, God began speaking to me about supersonic speed in aircraft; the speed that breaks the sound barrier. Speeds faster than Mach 1 cause thunderous, supersonic “boom” sounds of over 200 decibels. The high pressure created also produces a visible vapor cloud.  

Beginning in 2006, Israel employed supersonic jets flying at low altitudes to create these terrifying, thunderous “booms” over Gaza as psychological warfare. While supersonic sound is highly effective as a war strategy, the practice has since been condemned by the UN.   

I believe God is calling His Body into immersive and supersonic experiences of His glory through sound. I have felt the heavy “cloud” of God’s glory resting close in recent days; it is the “first fruits” of a glory outpouring that will cover the earth and ultimately displace all of God’s enemies! 

The Lord showed me that those who abide in His cloud of glory through Spirit-led prayer and high praise will be sent on Kingdom assignments to rapidly remove the enemy in various locations. Working exclusively from the glory realm, praying in the Spirit and in unity, these believers will move faster than the speed of sound. They will be accelerated and undetected, hitting targets faster than the enemy can locate them.  

It is essential for you to remain “inside the sound” of God’s voice this year! Drawing His Presence towards you daily through worship will enable you to walk safely through increasing spiritual warfare. 

The promise of God’s Presence through praise still stands. You have the ability to change both hearts and atmospheres through your worship! Worship and praying in the Spirit are the keys that will open the door to heaven’s glory and help you rapidly expel the enemy.


To illustrate this idea, the Lord took me in a vision to the foot of His cross. Jesus asked me what I thought sustained Him during the worst pain of His life. I responded with a verse from Hebrews, saying He had done it “for the joy set before Him” and because of the overwhelming love He had for us.  

But the Lord said there was something more: Jesus heard the VOICE of His Father speaking to Him throughout His painful ordeal. Just as we do now, the Son of Man relied on the power of the sound of His Father's voice to create perseverance in His time of need. 

While Isaiah 53 says “He was led like a lamb to the slaughter… He opened not His mouth,” Psalm 22 prophetically documents, in part, the internal dialogue between Father and Son. 

What words of love the Father must have whispered to Jesus as He made His way to that cross! And what comfort the Holy Spirit must have been releasing to enable Him to persevere!


Because Christ experienced the unbearable pain of separation from God (“My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?” Ps. 22:1), as well as the reassuring comfort of the Holy Spirit (“You have answered Me;” Ps. 22:21) YOUR heart can now live forever, securely connected to the sound of God’s voice!  

There is nothing that separates you from the Voice, the Presence, or the Glory of God. The SOUND of God’s voice sustained Jesus during the worst pain of His life. Faithful end-time believers will allow that same sound to sustain them.

SOUND WILL BE YOUR SUPPLY LINE
Both Jacob and John saw angels ascending and descending between heaven and earth in obedience to the Word of God. Jacob saw angels on a ladder through an open portal to heaven; John saw that Jesus WAS the “ladder,” the Word on which angels travel. 

The sound of the Lord’s Word in your mouth is as powerful as the sound of His Word in His mouth! Angels will interact with you more and more as you speak His Words over your life. That sound is your supply line between heaven and earth. 

Do not neglect to decree God’s powerful Words! Be aware that releasing the sound of negativity into your atmosphere can cut off your supply lines and cause negative things to happen. 

The enemy is still trying to use sound and resonance to change the atmosphere for the worse. Once a worshiper himself in God’s glory realm, Satan has a “Master’s degree” in the powerful effects of sound waves and resonance on the atmosphere. Yet as a fallen creature, he can only distort, not create. His sounds are counterfeit and dissonant.

Another strategy of Satan in this hour is to use the sounds of soulish love to interfere with your God-given calling. Remember that he used spirits of flattery, fear, and self-love to try to interfere with both Jesus’s and Paul’s personal missions (Matthew 17:4; Acts 21:10-13). 

The enemy’s desire is to hold you back through ungodly soul ties; the sound of God’s voice in such situations is what will propel you forward. Kingdom sound breaks off  “inter-fear-ence.” Don’t let fear interfere with your destiny! 

There is a strong emphasis in the Spirit on the power of our words this year. As I listened, the Lord reminded me of an expression I’d heard often in my childhood: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all!” The Lord rephrased this maxim, saying: “If you can’t speak by the Spirit, don’t speak at all!”

God is looking for men and women who speak only as they are moved and carried along by the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 1:21.) It is better to remain silent than to let the enemy use your words against you.   

​​CALL FOR THE GLORY!
As I prayer-walked on my retreat one day, I came to a vast, desolate stretch of rocky land. In the distance was a single white cloud that was connected to the earth by a rainbow (photo below). No clearer illustration of God’s covenantal supply and His desire to release glory on earth could have been given! 


Modern-day “Elijahs” know that they must partner with God in the release of His glory. Your words have the power to command or withhold the rains of refreshing and the fire of God’s glory in times of famine. (1 Kings 17:1; 18:38; Luke 9:54-55.) 

I heard the Lord say that the promises of Ephesians are like the “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow for His children right now. Understanding the provisions of your inheritance in the Word will keep the supply lines open for all your battles in the coming days. The more you cultivate the sound of the Throne-room here on earth, the greater access you will have to the spiritual realities Christ died to give. 

An inheritance is never gained through negativity or slander, whether on earth or in heaven. Surpassing riches are for those who believe! Those who are lovers of God will receive the full measure of their spiritual inheritance by faith. Those who mock God or rely on their own wisdom will find their supply cut off and their riches disappear.

PRESENCE WILL BECOME GLORY ​
Walking in the FULLNESS of Christ and the corporate experience of His glory-realm is going to become commonplace for believers and churches who choose lifestyles of holiness and hope, trust and love. 

Encounters with God’s weighty glory will increase this year, along with angelic visitations and supernatural encounters that enable believers to overcome the burden of the enemy’s attacks. Yet as opposition increases, it will be necessary to fight for God’s glorious Presence! (Hebrews 4:11.)

The “supersonic sound” of God’s voice will penetrate the heart’s rocky barriers of self-defense, breaking open what even the most skilled counselors have not been able to bypass or unearth. 

Immersion into the sound of God’s Kingdom will move believers rapidly from more subjective, Presence-based ministry to corporate, glory-filled encounters. Again I heard Him saying: “There’s glory in the sound!”

As you declare and decree what you hear in the sound of God’s voice, the thunder of His voice intertwined with your own will shatter internal barriers and bring miracles of salvation, healing, and deliverance from oppression. External, bureaucratic forces that seem to have caused delays in certain situations will suddenly be removed and replaced by  Kingdom governance.

This “Kingdom upgrade” will be a fulfillment of the words of Isaiah 9:7: “Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end.” God is establishing and upholding justice and righteousness for His people! Growing hunger is causing a shift from seeking the Presence and anointing of the Lord to abiding in Him and being governed by His glory.   
 
Pure words of the Lord are being woven into believers’ spiritual “mantles” like gold as you  continually return to intimacy with the Bridegroom, decreeing what is seen and heard in His Presence. The “fine linen” of good deeds done in wisdom, combined with the pure resonance of His Words, is making the Bride ready for the King’s wedding feast!    


GLORY IS EMBEDDED IN YOUR DNA!

At 2:02 one morning the Lord woke me, speaking even more specifically about this movement from Presence to Glory. 

He said that like the disciple Ananias, who was sent to pray for Saul’s healing in Damascus, some of you will receive surprise invitations to sit down and talk with your enemies this year. Your willingness to trust and feast on God’s goodness in such unusual situations will result in both protection and promotion. Showing mercy and love to your enemies through the Presence of God is a key to your desired breakthrough into the glory realm. (Psalm 23:5; Hebrews 4:16; ) 

Then in a vision, I saw a plate with four sweet samples of food on it, each with its own tasting spoon. The Lord spoke to me, saying some of you reading these very words will find yourselves presented with up to four possible choices concerning your future. There will be no “wrong” options! You are free to “sample” any of the offerings He places before you. Whichever one you choose will turn out to be a viable path for you. 

God will do this to reveal His multi-faceted wisdom (Ephesians 3:10). You will truly “taste and see” His goodness and sweetness, and you will be empowered, knowing that He trusts you!

Finally, I heard the Lord say: “I have written my genetic “source code” into your DNA through My blood. You cannot ‘lose’ Me! I have embedded Myself - My GLORY - in you and your future generations will forever be influenced by My goodness to you!” (See Isaiah 49:22-25.)

WEAKNESS TRANSFORMED INTO WISDOM
As I continued to pray, I encountered the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord and the Spirit of Wisdom. I heard the Lord say: “I am turning weakness into wisdom.”

All those who govern wisely govern through the Spirit of Wisdom (Proverbs 8). It is weak and foolish to rely on fleshly thinking to solve spiritual problems. Wisdom walks on the higher paths of truth, justice, and righteousness. In a time when it is easy to feel ignorant or overwhelmed by the enemy’s deception, you can exchange weakness for the wisdom of God. Pure wisdom will help you navigate deepening levels of corruption and perversion in every sphere. 

Where you send your children to school, how you vote, and how you take care of your physical body will become even more critical issues that require nothing less than the Wisdom of God to preserve your life and legacy!    

The sound of wisdom’s voice is calling loudly this year, at the entrance to every heart’s door. The wise will hear the sound of wisdom’s upward call and ascend to that ancient “intersection” of the human path with the Divine through worship and prayer. Only here will you gain perspective on world events and learn to govern from glory! 

Ecclesiastes 7:12 says: “Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.” In times of instability, silver or gold will not protect you; only wisdom has the power to preserve your life.

Embracing Wisdom and the Fear of the Lord also brings with it the reward of enduring wealth and substance. There is a standing invitation from the Lord to receive the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in greater measure so that He can fill your treasuries (both natural and spiritual) with the substance of His abundance. 


ASHES TO BEAUTY: MORE TRAFFICKING WILL BE EXPOSED AT COASTLINES
I felt the Lord’s heart for victims of abuse and trafficking in particular as He highlighted the scriptural judgments against the trading of human lives in Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 23: “Who has planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants were princes, whose traders were the honored of the earth? The Lord of Hosts has planned it, to defile the pride of all beauty, to bring into contempt and humiliation all the honored of the earth.” (Isaiah 23:8-9.)

In a dream, the Lord showed me the name “Tyre,” followed by the long list of its sins. The name “Tyre” means “rock.” I watched scripture after scripture from these passages in Ezekiel and Isaiah “scroll” as if in a video reel before my eyes. Holy Spirit impressed on me the horrible weightiness of America’s participation in Tyre’s sins, one after another. A second dream highlighted ongoing, tacit agreements with abortion. I woke in deep intercession and tears, sensing the urgency for intercessors to continue repenting and praying for mercy concerning these issues, especially in our nation.  

As the prophet Zephaniah writes, the Lord will again become “terrifying and awesome” to the nations, starving the ‘gods’ of the earth to bring an end to ungodly trading and trafficking, especially along the coastlines. I heard the Lord say He will cause the coastlands of the nations to worship, “every one from his own place.” (Zephaniah 2:10-11.) God will be to His people a “rock of habitation;” a refuge and fortress to whom they can come to find true sustenance. 

The fruit of godlessness that is being exposed today is revealing deep roots of wickedness and greed much more pervasive than anyone imagined, even within the Church. Root systems take time to develop and intertwine, and we will continue to see them dug up, separated, and exposed in our nation this year. Deliverance will also come to individuals as God puts an end to the enemy’s “trading” within your soul: lies for truth and captivity for freedom.

Jesus will continue to restore the “beauty of holiness” to His wounded ones in the coming days. Jesus came to heal and free the traumatized, giving beauty for ashes. It is no accident that the first healing after Pentecost happened at the gate called “Beautiful” in Jerusalem! Peter and John continued Christ’s legacy of restoration for those who were crippled by sin. We are to do the same!


A GREAT AWAKENING OF HOLINESS AND HOPE ​
The holy roots of hope and love are being brought to maturity in the lovers of God. We are in a season of “burning,” where the Lord is both refining and marking His remnant as “Holy to the Lord.” 
 
As diseased or compromised branches and trees are removed from our spiritual landscape, not only will the Body of Christ be able to see with greater perspective and clarity, but those who are seeking God will also see that it is faith alone that can support an enduring legacy. 

This truth will seem miraculous to some seekers, becoming a catalyst for hungry souls that comprise the harvest (Daniel 12:4). Authentic faith, enduring hope, and lasting love will be signs and wonders in a world devastated by public failures. 

As Daniel wrote prophetically in the second century BCE, “They who are wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand.” God is using even believers who fall as purifying agents to refine His people and increase the Fear of the Lord during these end times (Daniel 11:33-35). 

Hope in Christ will cause you to keep drawing living water from the roots upward until Christ arises powerfully within you to rule and govern in confident trust. I see a “great awakening” of hope that will serve to counter the dullness and deadness the enemy has used to shroud wounded souls.

After a difficult season of corporate failure, division, and offenses, the Body of Christ will “with one mind” glorify and praise God, knowing that “...this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ].” (Romans 13:11, AMP)

The Passion Translation words this exhortation even more clearly: “To live like this [in love] is all the more urgent, for time is running out and you know it is a strategic hour in human history. It is time for us to wake up! For our full salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” (Romans 13:11, TPT; parentheses added.)


CONCLUSION
The meaning of the name "Israel" is "one who prevails with God." Governing in God's glory requires a heart that is first yielded to God’s Presence, then submitted to His ways. I encourage you this year to move beyond seeking God just for information and revelation. Pursue the intimate and corporate knowledge of Him in all His multi-faceted Wisdom! Counter the pressure of the enemy by pressing in to the Father of Glory. Speak only as you are led by the Spirit of Glory!

Throne-room sounds release glory and glory releases provision to the saints. May the sound of God’s voice propel you into your destiny. May you live in the glory realm. May God richly reward your pursuit of Him, protecting you in every way this new year!

L'Shana Tova ~ Happy New Year!

They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears before God in Zion!
​~ Psalm 84:7

Dear Friends, 

Happy New Year! 

I woke this morning with the words of Psalm 84 dancing in my spirit: "How lovely are Your dwelling places, O Lord of Hosts! My soul longs and even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the Living God!"

Those who dwell continually with the Lord are blessed, and the longing for Him increases daily so that we desire nothing but to praise Him and to REST in His glorious Presence (Selah!)

We who love HIM and find our strength IN HIM are blessed to have internal "highways" to Zion; pathways in the Spirit that lead us always back to His home, His Throne. This is the place of healing, restoration, wisdom, intimacy, and revelation! 

Yes, at times these pathways of our hearts pass through what seems like a "veil of tears" (the 'valley of Baca' in this Psalm), but the Lord turns even our bitter tears into sweet fountains and springs, adding the downpours of His glory like rain that cover us with His blessed Presence! Once you  taste the reality of His Presence, there is nothing else that will satisfy.

I will write more about what I see for this New Year soon. Today, I felt the Lord simply wanted me to encourage you.

As you continue to seek God daily and diligently, you DO appear before Him. (Psalm 84:7) Your names are already inscribed in in His book of life for this year and EVERY year, because of your faith in Christ's resurrection power!

Do not allow the enemy to keep you out of God's courts with his legalism or his lies: this is a year to RUN into the arms of a Father who loves you and will draw near to you every time you draw near to Him.

While the world remains in unbelief and is subject to condemnation (John 3:18), you have been bought with a high price so that you may freely stand in the courts of heaven.  "The Lord gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." (Psalm 84:11)

I hear the Lord emphasizing Psalm 84: "How blessed is the man who trusts in You!"  

Against all opposing forces, choose to walk by FAITH this New Year, believing that God is good and looks upon you with favor. Invite His Presence not only for these "Ten Days of Awe," but also for the fullness of this year. Give Him the first fruits of your strength and time and He will reward you with the sweetness of His Presence like honey! 

While the world goes through its seasons of chaos and change, the eternal truths of the Word of God cannot be changed. It is the blessing of the Lord that brings true riches, and He adds no sorrow to His blessings! (Proverbs 10:22) 

You are on the Lord's heart just as you are on mine today. I pray He will openly reward your sacrificial worship and private moments of honoring Him, in every beautiful way!
