Watch! Live Broadcast: "Puzzles" with Joel Yount
[God] reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.
Daniel 2:22
Dear Friends,
Special thanks to those who have been praying for the ministry of His Inscriptions! I had the privilege, this week, of talking with Joel Yount from SpiritFuel on a live broadcast. We talked more about last week's "Puzzles" word (you can read that post here or on SpiritFuel's website).
Watch the broadcast on Facebook or Twitter to hear our conversation. Or scroll down to read the summary.
* As we trust God with the puzzles of our lives, He has a way of putting the right pieces together at all the right times so that we begin to see His image formed in us.
* The "Box Top" of your personal puzzle is the image of Christ! (Christ in you, the hope of glory.) You are designed to "fit" into the Maker's holy plan - the larger Kingdom puzzle He's putting together throughout the ages. Jesus is the centerpiece of that puzzle!
* There are larger puzzles for our families, cities, and even nations that require "solving." We can be confused and frustrated trying to figure them out on our own, or we can respond to God's invitation to be seated in heavenly places with Him, working in partnership to assemble these puzzles.
Scriptures:
- Ephesians 1:8: In all wisdom and understanding, with practical insight, God made known to us the mystery (or "puzzle") of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, concerning the fulfillment of the times - to bring all things together in Christ , both things in the heavens and things on earth.
- Colossians 2:2: Our hearts are being knit (joined) together in love , until we come to a full understanding of God's mystery, Christ Himself! We need God to help us solve our puzzles. But we need the Body to help us understand God and His perfect plan.
- Proverbs 1:5-7: The wise will hear and increase their learning, and the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth, to understand a proverb and a figure of speech or an enigma with its interpretation, and the words of the wise and their riddles that require reflection . The reverent fear of the Lord is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge, but arrogant fools despise wisdom and instruction and self-discipline.
*Daniel 2 gives us a beautiful picture of how to solve complex problems or puzzles. King Nebuchadnezzar had a troubling dream for which which he demanded an interpretation from his seers. The problem was that he didn't bother telling these wise men the dream! Daniel needed both wisdom (practical interpretation of a dream) AND revelation (to know the content of the dream itself).
Daniel did several things that are valuable lessons for us today:
1. He replied with discernment (wisdom) and discretion (the word in Hebrew speaks of "good taste.") He didn't whine or complain that his life was in danger! He remained calm and got the facts first.
2. He refused to fear but took courage and boldly went in to the king, asking for some time to pray and "solve" the mystery. He remained in a place of faith despite the pressure, trusting that God would answer in time.
3. He returned to his house - a place known for prayer and intimacy with God - and sought counsel with his companions. They partnered with him in prayer for the interpretation. There's wisdom in many counselors!
Notice the names of the three counselors: Hananiah means "Jah has favored." Mishael means "freedom." Azariah means "Jehovah has helped." What a beautiful prophetic picture of what God does for the one who prays! In times of confusion or pressure, don't forget to do the basics of prayer, worship, seeking counsel, and speaking words of faith.
4. He praised God and testified of His goodness when the puzzle was "solved" through a dream, a vision of the night. In all things, the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1 again) gave Daniel a peaceable wisdom which resulted in his promotion and an expansion of the Kingdom. (Daniel 2:46-49.)
Dreams and visions can provide you with an internal "map" for your life or the direction of your ministry!
*Puzzles need to be assembled in a certain order. For those who are trusting God for the salvation of friends or family members, don't force the "pieces" in place before their time! Pray and wait for the connecting pieces to be put into place in God's timing. He will show you how everything fits together!
*Right alignment is critical. You are unique, you belong to God's plan, and you won't "fit" into someone else's puzzle!
*Jesus came to seek and save the lost. If you feel like you're a piece of the puzzle that has fallen off God's tables somehow or gone beyond the borders of His will for your life, simply pray and ask Him for help. He's a good God; He knows how to find you and set you back in place again!
*To hear an encouraging story of how God brought three prodigals home, listen to the broadcast .
Blessings!

I HEAR THE LORD SAYING: "I AM SOLVING THE PUZZLES OF YOUR LIFE!"
Dear Friends,
I hear the Lord saying: “I am solving the puzzles of your life, one piece at a time!”
I believe the Lord is saying that there has been a massive attack of confusion: a demonic attempt from the enemy to send confusion over people's lives and over the directions that they should take.
This morning I heard the Lord say, “Take heart, because I am solving the puzzles of your life one piece at a time. What the enemy has used to keep you in a maze of confusion and darkness will not stand. I am releasing light into tunnels of darkness, hope into caverns of confusion, and a new clarity to see how the pieces of your life should fit together to bring Me glory.
I will not only show you how to solve complex situations with people on the outside, but I will show you how to connect the dots on the inside, so that you can see what I have been doing in the background all along. I have never stopped working on your behalf! I have never stopped moving the pieces together so that they can be assembled correctly. I have not forgotten you and I will not leave you until the puzzles of your lives are finished!”
THOUSAND-PIECE JIGSAW PUZZLES SOLVED!
For several years, I have had visions of jigsaw puzzles that the Lord was putting together in various situations. For the record, I am not a puzzle person! Jigsaw puzzles tend to frustrate more than amuse me. Yet I have seen repeated visions of the Lord solving puzzles with larger and larger numbers of pieces.
These puzzles concern not only individual lives but also families and nations. Some of you may feel that your level of frustration is increasing even as the number of pieces in your puzzles is growing!
As I prayed this morning, the Lord showed me again a vision of a very large puzzle. He showed me that much of the frustration that we have over our individual, family, workplace or national puzzles is that we believe they must be assembled all at once.
We worry and fret because we can’t see how things go together. It is as though the enemy has poured out a thousand tiny pieces on the table and destroyed the box top, and we worry that we will never be able to put it all back together in time! We know that it would take a lifetime for us to assemble everything the way it should be in order to bring God glory!
I hear the Lord saying that HE is the Master and Lord of the puzzles in your life! If you will remain seated with Him in your heavenly place of rule, dominion, and authority, HE will continue to bring you the right pieces in the right order! You will understand by the wisdom of the indwelling Seven-fold Spirit of God which piece to put in next!
The key to unlocking the puzzles of your life is always to let God be the Master Assembler! There is no puzzle, lock, cage, or region of captivity that He cannot unlock, assemble, or open; there is nothing from which God cannot set you free! In Him there is no captivity, only freedom; but you must continue to let Him lead!
It is a wicked scheme of the enemy to bring stress, worry, and fear as he releases more and more pressure to “assemble” everything at once. Some of you may feel that your lives have become harder, not easier, as you have gone forward in God. You may wonder how you will receive healing from a disease that seems to have no diagnosis. How you will reconcile relationships that have been shattered. How you will find a decent job in an economy that is crashing. How you can find continual strength to be with a loved one who requires around-the-clock care.
The recent large-scale strategies of Satan have only served to increase this pressure and to bring a sense of hopelessness and despair within the Body of Christ. There is a mounting pressure from the enemy to cause us to react. To break through somehow. To figure it all out. To find solutions to things that have been demonically locked up, encoded, and encrypted, even for decades.
In this morning’s vision, I saw that if our mindset simply shifted from the stress and fear of needing to assemble everything all at once, to just leaving the puzzle on the table (assembled in part as it is), we could walk away and go about our daily lives working on the puzzle bit by bit as we felt led or as the Father saw fit.
It is the enemy who drives us to put everything together at once or to do it ourselves. He is a slave driver and a wicked taskmaster. This time-sensitive mindset is designed to bring us to a place of hopelessness, despair, and humiliation. When we cannot see the big picture, we are tempted to quit.
Yet when we partner with the Lord these difficult puzzles become a joyful process! To the Lord, puzzles are no more than the simple game or pastime they were intended to be. They offer us opportunities to partner with Him, to learn how to see as He sees, and to develop a “long game:” an ability to patiently endure as we seek Him in the process. (Hebrews 10:36; Romans 5:3-4).
The relational interactions we have with the Lord as we solve the puzzles of our lives shed light on the bigger picture and help us to recognize the incredible designs and plans He has over our lives, families, and nations.
I believe the Lord wants to encourage us again that there will be a glorious day when all DOES fit; all the pieces ARE in the right places; order IS restored and the fullness of what He intends for our lives is revealed!
In the meantime, we can rejoice that the completed sections of our puzzles are seen and understood. What we have learned in the process with Him so far will enable us to solve the rest of our mysteries! (Philippians 3:12-16.)
We can rejoice at the victory Jesus has already won in transferring us from the dominion of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. Every confusing puzzle piece; every isolated or negative image that the enemy puts in front of our faces to bring fear, can be redeemed as each is put into the hands of the Lord. He will show us how the pieces fit.
Whether we enjoy solving puzzles or not, we are blessed with the amazing truth that nothing is hidden from the Father’s sight. Nothing is beyond His understanding. God holds the key to every complex mystery in our lives. The fears and criticisms, the things that the enemy throws in our faces to trouble us, become the very pieces God sets in place to unlock our destinies.
As we bring these troubling things to the Father, He turns them over in His hands and sets them in exactly the right places so that we are empowered and can see their purpose in our lives. Nothing is without meaning, but meanings and interpretations are often unclear at first. Believers have the ability to be content in any situation through the grace and ongoing presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
TAKE HEART!
I believe the Lord wants to encourage you today that all is well. God is breaking the confusion of the past off of your future.
The puzzles of your life can remain in the living room on a table where they should be, ready to be worked on at all the right times. While it seems counterintuitive, taking a break and releasing outcomes to the Lord is often the key to the solution!
In the meantime you are still God's highly favored, deeply loved child. No confusion from the enemy will torment you as long as you continue to solve the mysteries of your life in partnership with an omniscient God.
My prayer is that the Lord will release a special ability to you to deal with whatever complex situations you’re facing right now. The enemy will flee in seven directions as you tap into the fresh wisdom and revelation being released right now by the Seven-fold Spirit of God, who stands continually before God’s throne.
There is no puzzle that is too hard for God.
There is no hidden mystery that will not be revealed.
There is no burden, drivenness, or pressure to the ways of God.
There is great peace in Christ's wisdom!

TAKE COURAGE!
COURAGE, n. -
The mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. Synonyms include: mettle, resolution, spirit, and tenacity. Courage is a firmness of mind and will in the face of opposition; a strength in the midst of pain or grief. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary Online)
In nearly every Bible verse concerning courage we are not told that courage is an impartation or a special anointing; instead, we are commanded to " take courage."
The question then becomes: From where? From whom? Where is courage “located,” that we might take hold of it?
There are times when friends encourage us, which is good. Yet there are also times when our only encouragement comes from the Lord.
WHERE IS COURAGE FROM?
I hear the Lord admonishing His Body to “take courage” in these dark days. Nothing has strengthened me as much as a vision Jesus gave me recently when I was navigating overwhelming darkness myself.
His Inscriptions readers know that I’ve had several encounters over the years where I have been shown, in visions, the conditions of both His heart and mine. (See this post, The White-Hot Passion of the Lord, for more).
Years ago (in the initial vision), He had shown me the blackness of a sin-infested heart, which terrified me. Then later, the reddish, soft heart of flesh that is spoken of in Ezekiel. On April 24, 2021, the Lord again removed my heart from my chest as I prayed, showing me what He saw.
This time, my heart appeared to be yellow in color. As the Lord held my heart in His hands, I heard the Spirit say that the color yellow represented, in this case, glory, light, and courage. I was reminded that the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and is taken by force (Matthew 11:12).
A picture is worth a thousand words, and before Jesus placed my heart back inside my chest three things became clear to me:
First, the Body of Christ is about to see the manifestation of the glory of God we have longed for.
Second, the light of Christ as found in His Word will illumine our paths and help us to “see” in this present darkness.
Third, a courageous heart is the condition most needed right now to withstand the difficulties we face.
WHO DEMONSTRATES COURAGE?
Anyone living in today’s trial-infested world knows that outside of the Lord, courage is in short supply. Most people are far more prone to be overtaken by fear than by strength or courage!
Never in the world’s history has there been such a demonic onslaught of fear, sickness, corruption, and outright evil in every sector and every nation. The fact that biblical prophets like Daniel and John foresaw these things does not make enduring them any easier!
I meditate often on the book of Joshua, and I marvel at how frequently the Lord tells Joshua: “Be strong and take courage!”
It is easy to see Joshua as a mighty warrior in his own strength, given the battles he won, but I believe the opposite is true. It is the way of the Lord to encourage us the most when we feel fearful, vulnerable, and weak.
I believe that in the wake of Moses’ death, while facing the greatest “giants” known to Israel at that time, Joshua probably felt a good deal more fear than faith!
The remedy for Joshua’s army as they began to occupy the Promised Land was not a special anointing, a “fresh impartation,” or even a new prophetic word from the Lord. No; it was a reminder to take courage in the fact that God was with them. His already-revealed promises would both strengthen and sustain them.
Joshua was required to take an active role in his own deliverance first before he could lead others to victory. He had to “locate” courage using what He knew of God’s character and goodness.
In the same way, our entry into God’s Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy is not passive; it is a resolute and forceful advancement into the things of God!
2 Timothy 1:7 says that “God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” We must take the first step of renouncing fear and confessing faith in God’s power and all-sufficiency. God will then honor our courage by giving us an iron-clad ability to persevere against all odds.

New Testament believers in Christ possess something even greater than what Joshua knew. The Spirit of a courageous and mighty Warrior, the Lord of Hosts Himself, lives within us! Jesus is the perfect embodiment of courage.
The source of our courage as Christians is the Living Word: a Savior who has experienced every condition of the heart imaginable! We “take courage” by confessing our faith in that eternal truth.
God is with us; He will never abandon or forsake us. His Word is life and strength to our minds, our emotions, and our bodies. Our ability to continue faithfully in trials is directly related to our ability to draw upon the courage in Christ’s blood that now releases strength into our hearts.
Psalm 31:24 “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”
Daniel 10:19 “And he said, ‘O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.’ And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, ‘Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.’”
Matthew 14:27 “But Jesus immediately said to them: ‘Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.’"
WHAT IS COURAGE FOR?
Courage is not only given for defense or survival, or to be the “last man standing” in a world full of war and injustice. It is given to advance the Kingdom of God.
It takes courage to deal with sinful areas in our lives.
We are called to be a holy people, set apart for a holy God.
It takes courage to face pain.
Whether pain in the body or pain in the soul, we must have the courage to forgive and to press in for healing.
I believe the Lord is reminding us to have hearts of courage right now, so that we can confront not only what needs to be dealt with in ourselves, but also in others.
The oil of unity will flow again when we come to understand the impact our own lives have - either the sin of them or the fruit of them - on other members of Christ’s Body, and make necessary adjustments.
“Not even a hint” of immorality or greed is to be seen among us. (Ephesians 5:3) Not even a quick glance or a lustful thought towards sin’s trappings is to be tolerated! Why? Because a little leaven affects the whole lump. A weak, sick, and powerless Church is one that has not used courage to confront the things of the flesh that stand in direct opposition to God.
It takes courage to draw near to a God who is a Consuming Fire. Yet it is far better to gather the bundles of tares in our own arms and bring them to the fire ourselves! Those who do will lose the chaff and save their harvests.
It takes courage to speak and to stand up for what is right! I believe the Lord wants to encourage some of us today who may feel uncomfortable with the sins we’re perceiving in ourselves or in the spheres of influence we’re called to reach. True believers will take courage by force and fight vocally and tirelessly for love, justice, freedom, truth, healing, and deliverance.
The battle isn’t over; we have a long way to go. I pray you will be encouraged as you study God’s Word. I pray you’ll actively reach out to someone you know who is struggling in this season and stand with them in the darkness. I pray we’ll arise as a passionately violent army of believers who make Kingdom glory, light, and courage more contagious than any fears.

HONORING THE INTERCESSORS
The parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts we consider less honorable, we treat with greater honor.
1 Corinthians 12:23
I just hung up the phone tonight with someone like you: a His Inscriptions reader who is a dear friend and part of a vast community of prophets and prayer warriors who love the Lord.
At the Lord's leading, she blessed me deeply with a simple prayer that was powerful and effective to break an unseen attack of the enemy. And I am so grateful!
Perhaps it is more my heart than the Lord's that I write this, but I feel compelled to write a thank you to the "hidden ones;" the parts of Christ's Body that are often forgotten.
You are the indispensable warriors on the front lines who pay a price daily to cultivate the Presence of the Lord in your homes, churches, and nations. Some of you have taken huge "hits" from the enemy and have not been released to explain why; your assignments are often top secret and cannot be shared.
You set the stage for God to come and manifest Himself in the earth; your lives are an open gateway to glory!
Like my friend tonight, you are available to pray and intercede on a moment's notice when the enemy comes in too close. Some of you will occasionally stay up all night to blanket those in ministry with your prayers. Others intercede in practical ways, offering assistance, support, or kind words and deeds to encourage those around you.
(One of you, after reading my post on God's heavenly prayer room, even took the time to send me a scented handmade candle to bless my prayer times. So thoughtful and appreciated!)
You are the "spies" like Joshua and Caleb who have pioneered missions, staked claims in new territories, and stood fast for the ground already gained. You've returned from heaven's courts with fresh strategies for battle. Some people have listened to you and received their victories. Some haven't, and you have wept over losses that could have been averted.
You are the servant-nurturers who have perceived - often before anyone else - that someone was wounded and needed care. Other parts of the Body have you to thank for their own ministries, yet rarely do you receive thanks! Amazingly, you do not need or seek it; you work for the Lord.
You are the prophets of your own lives and of the nations you live in, receiving Divine intel daily and taking the world's news to the Lord so that disasters may be averted.
You choose to believe against hope that things will be okay in the end, because you partner with the Great Intercessor who is before God's throne!
You are lovers of God and of men. You are well hidden on earth, but well known in heaven!
You are so loved and cherished by the Lord. I know because I've seen His heart for you! Your transactions with God in prayer are holy; even angels wonder at the intimate relationship you cultivate with your Father!
Moment by moment, day by day, in every situation and sometimes at great cost yourselves, you honor the Lord by holding up the arms of those He's called you to support.
As darkness increases on the earth, it sometimes seems to you that you're on a "night watch" in the Spirit. You know the enemy's strategy is both to outnumber and surround you in the dark, striking multiple blows. But you are filled with light!
It is the wisdom of God and keen strategy, not strength, that will win the coming battles. Intercessors and watchmen, seers and prayer warriors are extremely important to the Body right now.
When the Lord says He upholds all things "by the Word of His power" (Hebrews 1:3), you understand that Word must at times come through YOUR mouths!
I just want to say thank you . I think the Lord does, too.
I believe you are a very special breed of people whose lives are deeper, richer, and more powerful than the world will ever know.
It takes one to know one.
Jesus knows.

JESUS PLUS NOTHING!
Elijah approached all the people and said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people of Israel did not answer him so much as a word.
~1 Kings 18:21
In the 9th century B.C.E., when drought covered the land of Israel, a weak King Ahab and a wicked Queen Jezebel ruled. The prophet Elijah was moved to confront Israel's double-minded prophets on Mount Carmel, asking them to make a decision. Their decision was not about what to have for breakfast that morning, but whether they wanted to eat at all in the future!
Like Joshua before him, Elijah spoke of the need to choose whom they would serve - and to choose wisely! Under Torah laws, to choose idolatry would mean a death sentence.
God's challenge to the New Testament Church is the same. Revival tarries when, like the church in Thyatira, the Bride of Christ tolerates Jezebel: compromising herself with sin and yielding her flesh to moves of religious spirits instead of the movements of the Spirit of God. Throughout the Bible, the message is the same: it's Jesus plus nothing!
Today, a narrow window of time remains for the Body of Christ to determine where she stands. If God is God, it is time to stand for righteousness and truth.
If the dead works of religion, compromise, and control are more appealing, then I believe we will miss the pure revival fires of the Lord, who still desires to be Head of His church. The overcomers who hold fast to Jesus in these end times comprise a remnant-Bride who will ultimately receive authority over the nations. (Revelation 2:18-29.)
ELIJAH BUILDS AN ALTAR
After giving the false prophets time to prove their point and summon their (nonexistent) gods, Elijah demonstrates, rather than teaches, how to summon the Living God who answers by fire.
For all their raving, dancing, and prophesying, Jezebel's followers cannot initiate a move of God! In a dramatic and even unified effort which includes 12 hours straight of prayer and worship, these self-appointed prophets cannot create fire; "...there was no voice, no one answered, and no one paid attention." (1 Kings 18:26)
Elijah summons the people to him and begins to build an authentic foundation for the altar of God. Noting in prayer that it is at God's word that he builds, Elijah takes 12 stones, one for each of Israel's tribes, rebuilds the altar "in His Name," lays out the sacrifice, and begins to pour pitchers of water on something that he hopes will burn.
This is an unthinkable, foolish way to create a fiery "move" of God! No one lights a match and expects soaked wood to burn!
But it works.
Fire, which usually burns upward, descends downward from heaven and consumes not only the sacrifice, but the wood, the stones, the dust, and even the water in the trench! Truly God has done "exceeding abundantly more" than Elijah could have thought or imagined! (Ephesians 3:20)
DIVIDED DEVOTION
As one commentator writes, God is not interested in "divided devotion." Like an unfaithful spouse, 9th century Israel wanted to keep both their marriage partner and their illicit lover! The Lord has a legitimate claim to the exclusive devotion of His Bride. He will not tolerate lukewarmness any more than He will tolerate Jezebel. (Revelation 2:4 & 2:20.)
Preacher Charles H. Spurgeon put it this way in the 1800's: "How many more dead sermons do you want? How much more drought? How much more sickness? How many more graves for your families? The people of God lacked the courage to answer Elijah, just as many people today lack the courage to either defend their position or to change their minds."**
Sadly, Spurgeon's words are still true.
THIS IS A TEST!
Just as Elijah tested the false prophets at Mount Carmel, so I believe the Body of Christ is being tested right now. The Lord is interested to see whether we will continue to build on altars of human desires, emotions, and flesh rather than on the sure foundation of Jesus Christ. Elijah's test was sponsored and initiated by the the Holy Spirit, not from a soulish need for self-justification or self-promotion.
In a vision this morning, I saw the throne of God, where flashing lightnings were being combined and then released in explosive power that was given to believers positioned before Him in prayer. I heard the Father ROARING over His people like a lion; it was a roar of justice and love and such a passionate desire to see His children return to Him and experience ALL that He is! Yes, He is a jealous God! His commands are not burdensome; His desire is always to bless and increase us as we come to Him. But we must come! Fully come!
The next glory-moves of God will come as a result of the "power that works in us" by the Holy Spirit, not by any works of the flesh! To build according to what we want, the needs we have, or anything other than the foundation that God is now laying for His church is to plan to fail.
It's Jesus plus nothing. And that, dear friends, is everything!

WHERE'S THE VICTORY? PROPHETIC STRATEGIES FROM ANCIENT AI RELEASE YOUR BREAKTHROUGH!
Dear Friends,
Joshua thought it would be easy.
Fresh off an angelic commissioning, the successful crossing of the Jordan, and a decisive victory at Jericho, he was ready to take on the next city: Ai.
This commander had all his ducks in a row. Joshua had patiently served God under Moses for years. He knew the Presence of God intimately himself, and woke up early each morning to seek God. He was courageous and even received manifest angelic assistance.
Joshua was a good leader and a tenderhearted warrior who received detailed military strategies from the Lord. Everyone in Israel wanted to fight with him!
Yet despite an abundance of prophetic words straight from the Lord promising him success, Joshua and his army failed.
What went wrong?
IGNORED WARNINGS LEAD TO LOST BATTLES
Wincing from an initial defeat at Ai, Joshua spent the following day on his face mourning and crying out to God. His soldier's hearts were filled with fear. He prayed:
"Why have You brought us across the Jordan, only to hand us over the Amorites to defeat us? If only we had been willing to live beyond the Jordan! What can I say now that my army has turned back and fled before their enemies?" (Joshua 7:6-8)
Joshua's pain was justified. But God wasted no time sympathizing with Joshua over this defeat:
"Get up! Why is it that you have fallen on your face? Israel has sinned... they have taken some of the devoted things... they have become accursed. I will no longer be with you anymore unless you destroy the things under the ban from among you." (Joshua 7:11-12)
As Bible commentator David Guzik writes, "Joshua didn't need to beg God to change His heart toward Israel; he needed to change Israel's heart toward God!"*
In ancient Israel, Achan's punishment for disobedience was to be stoned to death. Christians today are not called to condemn others' sins, but to deal soberly with their own. We are to put to death things of the flesh that war against our spirits. (Colossians 3:5-6)
When our consciences do not condemn us, we have peace with God. Holy Spirit can then move freely through us without being grieved.
LIONS IN THE LAND
A similar account supported by historical facts, is found in 2 Kings 17. Under Hoshea, who was the last king of Israel's Northern Kingdom, the Israelites are carried off by the Assyrians into exile. In a chapter entitled "Why Israel Fell," the Bible says: "Now this came about because the Israelites had sinned against the Lord." (2 Kings 17:7)
Idolatry, worldliness, compromise; a divided, powerless form of worship that excluded the heart, secret sins and fear-based religion characterized the Israelites in 722 BCE just as Achan's sin reeked of greed and compromise more than 700 years prior.**
In His mercy, God "warned Israel and Judah through ALL His prophets and EVERY seer," but they did not listen. (2 Kings 17:13-14.)
When Samaria is repopulated by other nations (a standard practice for enemy kings after a conquest), God sends lions into the land - even after His people have been exiled - to defend what He sees as His territory. Even heathen nations realize that they must learn the "protocol" for worshiping the God of that land!
The moral of these stories is that how we worship and how we fight is important to God.
If there is compromise in our hearts, our churches, or our nation, battles will be lost. Our response determines God's response: if we choose to walk by the Spirit, we will plunder the enemy. If we choose the ways of the flesh, we will be plundered ourselves. (See Galatians 5)
A TIME OF SEPARATION
In January, I prophesied that 2021 would be a year of separation:
"There is a separation and delineation happening in the world and within the Body of Christ which is God-ordained and God-initiated. In the political and social realms today, the Spirit of God is separating light from darkness by exposing deep state and high-level injustices. We are going to see this happen in the religious sector as well. The Lord is taking us back to the foundations." (Click here to read the full word.)
I believe we have reached the "defining moment" we have been anticipating. Those who continue to harbor compromise or tolerate sin, whether in the government, the church, or the family, are in grave danger.
Hebrews 4:13 warns: " Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."
The name Achan means "troubler." Ai means a "heap of ruins." Ai was said to be located near Beth-aven, which means "vanity." Dear ones, do not be deceived: our "New Testament God" is still opposed to pride! (James 4:6).
Unfaithful Israel killed every prophet who warned them, and this Passover week reminds us that while deliverance is always God's heart, those who were blinded by sin killed even God's Son when He came. While sin causes defeat when ignored, it can become a springboard to victory when brought to the cross of Christ!
SANCTIFY YOURSELVES, IT'S TIME TO FIGHT!A little sin "leavened" the whole army in Joshua's time. What is done secretly and even individually in the Body of Christ still affects the entire remnant. (1 Corinthians 5:6)
Let's make sure that we don't fail to enter into the promises of God's glory, revival, and blessings by being unwilling to separate from sin. The Father has a good plan for this nation and for the world He created!
Honoring Christ's death, resurrection, and atonement is sure way into His blessings. God will be a Father to us if we come honestly to Him as His children, willing and obedient to honor HIS ways of serving, worshiping, and fighting!
I believe Joshua's strategies at Ai are highly relevant to the Body of Christ today.
I hear the Lord saying: "Get up! Sanctify yourselves! Stretch out your spear and remain on the offensive! You will do the same to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho.
"Set an ANGELIC ambush against your enemy. INCREASE and do not diminish your forces in prayer! If you continue to gather as a remnant to pray, I will release a movement in the earth that is unlike anything you have ever seen!
"The enemy believes you are retreating in fear, but watch for the smoke from My FIRE as these heavenly ambushes ignite GLORY in your cities and cause the enemy to come out, unguarded! THEY will be trapped; YOU will conquer all!"
Ai was just a little town. Let's not lose the next battle over just a little sin!
This Passover week:
- Study the strategies in Joshua 7-8, as well as 1 Corinthians 5:3-8 and Matthew 5:29-30. Take the time to read 2 Kings 17 to capture God's heart for true worship!
- Watch a short video of a related prophecy, "Hold Your Position!" here.
- Pray for Holy Spirit to reveal anything that contaminates Body, soul, or spirit as you sanctify yourself to participate in the next great outpouring!
- Print and meditate on Joshua's strategies for breakthrough, below. ( Click here for infographic .)

JOSHUA'S STRATEGIES for BREAKTHROUGH:
1. Seek the Lord for the unique and timely strategies for every battle. ~Joshua 7:7-8
2. Be ruthless in dealing with your own sin; guard and nurture the Presence of Holy Spirit in your life! God told Joshua He wouldn't be with him anymore unless the accursed things were destroyed from Israel's midst. ~Joshua 7:12-13
3. Be persistent in prayer, standing firm and using your sword. Pray for heavenly hosts to set ambushes against the enemy. Pray for every secret sin to be exposed. ~Joshua 8:18-19
4. Fight the enemy on your turf and your terms; not his. ~Joshua 8:15-16
5. Don't doubt God's heart to deliver you; check your heart often to make sure there is nothing hindering your victory. ~Joshua 7:10
6. Believe that the glory of God will expose and unseat the enemy from illegitimate places in the land. Watch and WAIT for the signs of God's fiery Presence igniting cities and nations, then rise up to partner with Him in each move! ~Joshua 8:21
7. Show no mercy to demonic entities; refuse to be intimidated or lured into situations where you will be tempted to fall. Remain on the offense, not the defense, until you know you have a decisive victory. Hold your position. Boldly confront those who oppose you when required. ~Joshua 8:21-23
8. Consistency is a key to power. Do not neglect personal quiet times, even if it means rising early to seek the Lord. ~Joshua 8:10
9. Believe God's prophetic promises to you! Heed both the Word and the warnings God gives in times of difficulty. ~Joshua 7:13; 2 Kings 17:13
10. In Christ, sin can no longer defeat you! Receive forgiveness for sin through repentance and the power of the cross, and make past failures your springboard to success! ~Joshua 7 & 8

A LOVE LETTER TO INTERCESSORS
If you are someone who loves to pray or desires deeper intimacy with the Lord, you have undoubtedly made room for Him somewhere in your heart or home, a place where you can be alone and quiet with Him, undisturbed.
I know many His Inscriptions readers who have created special places in your homes, offices, or prayer cottages where you warmly welcome the Holy Spirit to come and abide with you.
I have been blessed to visit or pray in some of these places over the years, and there is nothing on earth like them; they represent holy ground!
Some of us, though, especially during the pandemic, have found that the private spaces we once had became crowded with other people! Our family had to make some serious adjustments in our tiny two-bedroom home exactly one year ago. Our oldest son had to move back home from college and four out of five of us began working from home. What we thought would be a "short-term squeeze" turned into a marathon event, with every room of our house occupied nearly 24/7!
Suddenly, I found that the only place I could worship or pray without interruption was in my living room, in the early-morning hours between 1 and 5 AM. (This represented the narrow window of time between when my college-aged son finally went to sleep and my husband got up for work!)
In weaker moments, I secretly wished that I had a dedicated prayer room, an office, or a truly quiet place with a closed door; a "sanctuary" reserved for times of prayer and prophetic counsel. I blissfully remembered beautiful prayer rooms I visited at conferences and in churches around the world. There was simply no space in our current home to do so!
One such night, the Father interrupted my thoughts and said, “Why do you desire an earthly prayer room when you have a heavenly one? Did I not make a way for you to spend time in MY prayer room?”
Immediately I felt so foolish! Why wish for beautiful things to surround me on earth when the Lord has invited me to worship Him in a heavenly place of beauty and holiness? What is temporal beauty compared to eternal holiness?!
The Lord did not condemn me for my small-mindedness. Instead He asked me if I’d like Him to “show me around” His “prayer room.”
I quickly said yes!
He ignited my faith through an image I already held in my mind. I often like to light a candle when I pray or study at night, and I had just been thinking to myself that there would certainly be scented candles and soft lighting in any prayer room I created!
Suddenly, the Lord opened up a vision to me. I saw the Father reach beside Him to a place on the right of His throne. He took in His hand what looked at first like an ancient oil candle. On closer inspection, however, I saw that it was actually a clay pot or bowl filled with incense. The prayers of His saints!
The Father spoke and said that He, too, loves the "sweet scent" of the prayers of His people, and He held the bowl of incense before Him, savoring it. The delicate sentiment of His heart made me weep: I had never seen such a tenderness on His part concerning our prayers.
While many people see the throne room as a place of governance, rule, kingship and unapproachable holiness, to the Father the throne room is His prayer room. This is the place where Christ intercedes, saints and angels gather, petitions are made, and decrees are expedited. (See Revelation 4 & 5.)
How amazing that our Father invites us to remain with Him; to come to His “prayer room” as often as we wish! It is important that we see the throne room this way, since intercession is Christ's primary ministry.
What touched me most deeply about this encounter was the sweetness of the Lord’s heart towards His intercessors; the things we most value are things He values also. I saw a gentle, meditative side to the Father that I had not seen before, and this was such a blessing!
I did not want to leave His Presence. But it was nearing 5:00; I would not be undisturbed for much longer.
A LOVE LETTERAs I moved to leave, the Father stretched His hand out to me. In His hand was a sheet of paper. He gave me a parchment-colored page which contained black lettering and a red title. The title read: “A LOVE LETTER TO INTERCESSORS.”
The Father said, “Write this down for My intercessors. The way to your heavenly prayer room has been opened, purchased with My Son’s blood. I am inviting My people to abide here with Me. WE desire your fellowship so deeply that Christ willingly restored access for you through His death and His blood. Use this exact title when you write. Tell them!”
Astonished, I took the letter and stared at its title, which was written in large, red letters. I was overwhelmed with the knowledge that the title was penned in my Savior’s blood.
I saw the Lord Jesus standing near the Father as I was given the letter. There was such love, such a strong desire, such a longing in their hearts for believers to know that we have access to the most beautiful place of prayer imaginable in heavenly realms!
As I left, I agreed to write the letter and duplicate what I saw in the vision. You now hold the letter in your hands.
Amidst all the recent emphases on heaven's courtrooms, powerful decrees, and divine justice, I believe the Lord’s letter is a reminder that heaven’s prayer room is as much about Presence as it is power. Its primary emphasis will always be more personal than procedural. (Although protocol is certainly important, too.)
I believe the Father is issuing a heartfelt call to intercessors to return to the “first love” sentiment of prayer: a place where holiness and justice happen first in the context of heart-to-heart fellowship between Father and child.
Nothing has escaped His notice; He is still sovereign and it is as important to rest intimately in His love as it is to war on His behalf.
God has inscribed, at tremendous cost to Himself, an invitation which reads: “I LOVE YOU. You are welcomed into the most intimate place in heaven: My personal prayer room. Come and have fellowship with Me in the place of beauty and holiness I have created for you!”
Prayers ascend to the Lord as incense before His sapphire throne, an offering He so savors! Our prayers ignite flames of desire and passion in His heart; He cannot help but respond when we come to Him this way! Intercessors emerge from the holiest of all prayer rooms scented with the fragrance of Christ; His aroma permeates every part of our beings.
Most amazingly, intercessors and friends of God find that as we sit and share these times of covenant communion with the Lord, He is all the while laying the foundations of our own lives with costly sapphires and shining stones; a Father's beautiful blessing to His beloved children.

WATCH FOR GOD'S MILITANT WOMEN!
During a time of intercession today, I felt so strongly the Lord's heart for women who are warriors in the Kingdom of God! I heard Him say:
“I am bringing forth My MILITANT WOMEN! I am pulling out of obscurity women who have been hidden for such a time as this. I'm building an UNUSUAL army of WORSHIPING WARRIORS who have fended off such mighty attacks at home that they are UNAFRAID of what’s on the battlefield! The “messes” have prepared them for the masses; the “housework” for the workings of the Household of Faith.
“You will see women emerge from darkness and obscurity into LIGHT and even great FAME because of the exploits I give them to do in this hour. They are not looking for fame, but they will be famous for MY NAME because they are zealous to see My Name exalted.
"Because they have LOVED in obscurity, they will LIVE in security, even when the enemy launches his missiles against their missions. They have learned to step carefully around the minefields. They know how to wield UNUSUAL weapons that release SURPRISE attacks in UNLIKELY places.”
In a vision, I saw that these women knew how to cut to the chase; I saw them running to specific places around them and UNHOOKING barricades or roadblocks which seemed to have no connection to freedom. Yet what they loosed broke open the way for those coming behind them!
I heard the Lord say:
“These women's skills are needed now on battlefields around the world because traditional warfare - warfare as you’ve known it – is about to end. These creative dreamers are also creative defenders of truth and righteousness, love and hope. They will not stand for the enemy’s ploys because the motivations of their hearts are far greater: they march to the sound of love, not vengeance; reconciliation, not retaliation.
“They will be signs and wonders of a new generation of believers and warriors who fight on their knees and WIN because of their prolific FAITH in Me and their willingness to do things My way. These are warriors who have been “seasoned” in kitchens, not boot camps. They’ve been trained in the ways of the heart, and their passionate cries to Me have not gone unnoticed.
“Watch for the Warriors. Watch for the Women. They are emerging now. Do you hear them?
They will unite under a banner that reads: ‘THE LORD IS LOVE!’”

UNLOCKING THE POWER OF GOD IN TENNESSEE!
Dear Friends,
A huge THANK YOU to His Inscriptions friends who prayed for last week’s ministry trip to Springfield, Tennessee! It was an amazing week of training roughly 60 leaders at City of Faith International Church which culminated in a mighty outpouring of God’s POWER on Sunday morning. Photos and testimonies follow.
REPENTANCE IS STILL IMPORTANT TO GOD!
Although it was the pastor of City of Faith International who invited me to speak at his church, I knew that God was sending me on assignment to pray in the city!
As I prepared to travel South, I asked the Lord to show me what was hindering ministry in that region. Three times in my research the same historical event surfaced: racist murders of one white man and 7 black men in 1880-81. (See newspaper clippings here and here.)
Since the crime rates in Springfield are among the highest in the nation, I decided to investigate whether this event might be at the root of those statistics. Here’s the story from 1880 in a nutshell:
Lee LaPrade was a poor, white farmer who lived on the outskirts of town and was thought by people in the town to have received an inheritance: money from a relative in France.
On August 30, 1880, a mob of black men decided to steal the money, forcing their way through LaPrade’s bolted door one summer night.
LaPrade insisted that he had no inheritance, and as tensions escalated the black men began torturing and eventually killing LaPrade, leaving his body in a ditch five miles west of town.
The white community in the area wanted vengeance, and began arresting black men to retaliate. Two men (Jack Bell and Arch Jamison) were arrested and thrown in the county jail. Unfortunately, they were later taken from jail by white men in masks and lynched (hung), without a trial, from a nearby tree.
Another seven black men were arrested by the sheriff and scheduled for trial on February 14, 1881. Two turned state evidence and were released. Four days later, a mob of 50-60 white men seized the other five (Jim Elder, Jim Higgins, Bob Tweat, Sock Mallory, and Lum Small) as they walked from the jail to the courthouse.
These five men were lynched from the East balcony of the Robertson County Courthouse, which still stands today.
Robertson county at one time had the highest number of lynchings in the state of Tennessee. The photo below shows the historic courthouse with its balconies - a building which is now on the National Register of Historic Places.*
The third Robertson County Courthouse, which was built two years before the lynchings in 1881. Notice the balconies at the top. A clock tower would be added later and the building still stands today.
COMMUNION AND RECONCILIATION RELEASE POWER!Knowing that there is still tremendous racial injustice in our nation, and seeing the obvious impact of division in the Springfield area, I asked Pastor Gardner if his church would be willing to let this “Yankee White Girl” from Massachusetts repent for this and some of the post-civil war issues that seemed to still be cropping up in the city. He readily agreed!
After teaching two sessions on “Hearing God” and “Spiritual Leadership,” I devoted the next two Saturday sessions to Communion and Repentance.
I shared the story of the Springfield murders and guided leaders through a teaching on Intercession and Repentance.
(Listen to the story and the 20-minute teaching on intercession here.)
Christ is outside of time, and we are seated in heavenly places with Him. We have the unique opportunity in the Spirit to deal with even historical events that are at the root of current traumas in our nation.
Through repentance, the Blood of Christ, and reconciliation, we can change the spiritual climates of our families, churches, cities, and nations; repenting as Daniel did for iniquities passed down through the generations. Healing will follow!
To intercede is often to take very practical steps to bring healing. In this case we felt that taking communion together with the leaders at church AND doing on-site communion privately at the courthouse were both important.
Leaders repented to God and to each other for white supremacy, hatred, and the shedding of blood, believing that this reconciliation would help to heal the regional traumas that still exist today. (Deuteronomy 19:10; Matthew 5:21-26.)
Many families in this church were grieving fresh losses of spouses and children to drugs, disease, and even a shooting, and I wanted to help bring restoration and hope to this community through prayer even as I taught these principles.
A spirit of repentance fell as we prayed that day, and we made seven decrees of justice for the black men who were hung, as well as one decree for the white man who was murdered.
A small team of us then took communion again at the Robertson County Courthouse, along with an 85-year old intercessor who has prayed there for 15 years.
This precious prayer warrior cried when I told her I had come all the way from Massachusetts to pray in her city! Although she is a Methodist, this lady firmly agreed that a new move of God is imminent, and said she had hoped to see it before she “graduated” to heaven! I felt like I was sitting with a real-life “Anna!” (Luke 2:36-38.)
The pictures below document our team telling her the story of the 1881 murders and praying beside the courthouse.
Sharing the story with Zena, a local intercessor who has walked and prayed for a move of God in the city of Springfield for 15 years!
Blessing Pastor Gardner as an apostolic leader in the community (Courthouse in background)
Our TN Prayer Team. From left: Deborah, Peggy, Robert, Zena, and Sally in backgroundTESTIMONIESSo much happened as a result of these prayer times!
Immediately after we took communion in the church, the power of God fell and we anointed a new team of 12 intercessors. Some of these leaders had never even heard of the term “intercessor” but had a gift to pray.
Their pastor had selected them to receive an impartation, and by the time we finished, the anointing in the church was so thick I could barely walk out of the sanctuary.
I was escorted back to the office, where they brought a few more people to me for prayer or prophecy.
As this was happening, we heard an amazing testimony. One of the young leaders who was attending the training had lost her father that week. I had prayed for her and her mother the night before.
This girl had listened to the story of the 1880 murders and knew that I was speaking of her ancestors; the lynchings were a shameful family story that had been covered up for years. She had only heard of it once or twice from a grandparent, and she was shocked to hear the entire history.
The pastors quickly brought this girl back to me in the office and I asked her to tell me what she knew. She confirmed that what I had researched was true, and that a spirit of death had been “murdering” her family members for generations.
Praise God, not only did He confirm the story but He also allowed us to pray with her to break the curses connected to this event, stop the spirit of death from impacting her family, and bless her as an intercessor and deliverer. She left a whole lot “lighter” than she came in! YES, LORD!!!
Sunday’s services were also very powerful, with a strong prophetic anointing in both services and a long line of people who wanted ministry for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There is a lot of witchcraft in the area and I had spoken on the difference between the power of Satan and the power and authority of God. (Acts 8)
(Watch a Live service on Facebook here.)
Three unsaved youth came in off the streets in the middle of the second service. I learned later that they had gotten into a tight spot. One of the boys had a Christian grandmother who used to tell him, “If you’re ever in trouble, take yourself straight to church.”
That morning - remember we’d just prayed for strongholds to be broken in the city the day before - the boy came straight to OUR church, and brought two friends!
The pastors brought over to them to pray, and I released the power of God onto these snake-chained, cowboy-hat-wearing young men, prophesying to each of them about their God-given calls in the Kingdom. God doesn’t care what they look like! He’s just glad they came!
These young men will be meeting with the pastor of City of Faith this week; please join me in praying that the Lord continue to touch them and draw them into the Kingdom of God as His beloved sons, honoring that praying grandmother!
We also ministered at the church's women’s shelter and at the home of some church members, praying for two women in particular who were bound by sorcery and witchcraft. In every place, the power of God came and touched people mightily!
Praying for one of the worship leaders whose name is "Teresa." Teresa means HARVEST!The pandemic has not cancelled the Great Commission!
Your prayers make an impact, even down through the generations. Ask the Lord to show YOU what needs restoration in your family or city! You may be the only ambassador Christ has in certain situations.
Because of your partnership in prayer, we are already seeing God release POWER and a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in the state of Tennessee! We’re taking practical steps toward racial reconciliation as we pray for an end to civil unrest.
Violence is never the answer to injustice. Yet it is only the sons and daughters of God’s Kingdom who carry true peace.
As He did with Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Jesus, and Paul, God is still releasing spiritual wisdom to unlock and heal the natural division and trauma you see in the world around you. I’m so excited to see these Tennessee leaders arise and take the land for Jesus!
I believe God is raising up a mighty army of deliverers who move not in pride and presumption, but in peace, humility, repentance, justice, and love.

GOD IS RELEASING SONGS OF DELIVERANCE FOR HIS PEOPLE!
In a vision early this morning I saw the Lord overturning tables in the temple. (Matthew 21:12-13.) The tables in the vision, He said, represented "trading tables;" places in people's hearts where the enemy had caused them to "trade" God's ways and God's goodness for demonic agendas. I felt the Lord's zealous desire to overturn those places where the enemy has taken over and "set up shop" in peoples' hearts. He longs to restore purity, peace, and prayer to His Bride!
SONGS OF DELIVERANCEAs I continued to listen to the Lord, I heard Him say: "Deliverance is going to be the theme - the SONG OF MY HEART - in coming days."
Throughout biblical history, there are songs of favor and deliverance that arise in the midst of impossible situations: Moses and Miriam, David, Deborah, Mary, Paul and Silas and so many others rejoice in God's deliverance - even before it takes place!
I heard the Lord releasing songs of deliverance, personally and corporately, to demonstrate His power and goodness towards those who walk in the fear of the Lord at this critical time. I heard Him say:
"What man has found impossible to do in all his strength, I will now do through My resurrection power. There is a RESURRECTION OF DREAMS on the horizon; an incoming cloud of My goodness and mercy that will rain down blessings that will astound you!
"Those watchmen who have watched and waited for the arrival of this "cloud" will now find they must quickly run for cover themselves as I close the gap: the distance between their perceptions and My reality!
"For what you have perceived to be far off is coming at an accelerated speed; what you thought you had time to prepare for will appear more quickly than you anticipated!
"To delay is unwise at this point; make yourself ready; prepare for the onslaught of ABUNDANT RAIN. It will be goodness to My people, but terror to those who have refused Me. I WILL COME; I am coming at a faster rate than anticipated, and it is the READINESS of My Bride that is essential in this hour."
GODLY GOVERNMENT "Do not worry about those who say they have a "call" to government, whether civil or religious, who elevate themselves in their own minds, but have no God-given authority. Whatever their source, they will not stand.
"My TRUE GOVERNMENT is in places of humility, BENEATH the towers and platforms men have constructed. I dwell with the humble and contrite ones; I walk the streets with the homeless; I care for the orphaned. My authentic governors and ambassadors are working in the LOWEST of places, the meanest of conditions, to bring mercy and justice to even the undeserving objects of My love.
"Focus on the work at hand, not on the rhetoric of the enemy. Just as your calling is true and irrevocable, so the enemy's mandate is false and constant; he is the father of lies. Remain true to Me, and to the things I have assigned you to do, and I will make a way for you through the challenges, through the deceptions, and through the outright lies."
INOCULATION WITH THE WORD
"The last enemy to be destroyed is death itself. There are many enemies of My goodness who assault you today. You have not yet come to the final battle; you will need perseverance and hope to continue.
"Fill your minds with My Word to combat the deceptions and misperceptions of the enemy, driving out those who "change" and "trade" on My goodness but cheapen My grace. Let the anointing that is in you arise and fill you with all truth, INOCULATING you to demonic deceptions!
"Dear Ones, what you perceive is not always real. Let the ministry of My Spirit convert and transform your minds and souls until you see rightly again and discern what is true!
"FAITH comes by HEARING, and hearing by My Word. Yet LIGHT comes by SEEING; the right application of My Word will bring light and stability to the whole Body."
When I researched the word "inoculate," which the Lord spoke to me above, I found (through Wikipedia) that the term "inoculation" is originally a horticultural term which made its way into the English language. It means to graft a bud (or 'eye') from one plant to another. It is derived from the Latin words in + oculus (which means, literally "in + eye.") What a beautiful picture of the grafting in of God's people, THROUGH THE POWER OF HIS WORD, to the one true Vine which is Christ! Right seeing and right hearing - by filling the gateways of our eyes and ears with light from the revealed Word - will always be the best "vaccine" against deceptions and misperceptions of the enemy.
THE IDOLATRY OF MAN WILL BE DESTROYED BY THE LOVERS OF GODFinally, as I prayed about these words, I heard the Spirit say: "Even as I remove the idolatry and 'hero worship' of previous generations, I am raising up DELIVERERS who are not motivated by selfish ambition or fame, but by LOVE. These lovers of God are not lovers only, but WARRIORS whose intimacy with Me is a threat to the enemy!
The devil will strike out against My Beloved ones in jealousy, but their TRANSPARENT HONESTY before Me will activate a shield of protection around them which enables them to move forward in TRIUMPHANT VICTORY!"
Decree with me today:
Every demonic agenda against me and against this nation is being overturned by the resurrection power of Christ, which is at work within me. BY FAITH I tear down the altars of idolatry that have been set up against the Lordship and government of Christ.
I refuse to trade or exchange the glory of God for corrupted idols on the altar of my heart. I do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Holy Spirit, I yield to the ongoing work of exposure and purification in the life of Your Body. I thank you for releasing SONGS OF GREAT DELIVERANCE in our world! Let the entrance of Your Words bring LIGHT, Lord. Restore Your temple to be a sanctuary of holiness, purity, peace, and prayer where ALL NATIONS can see Your glory.
Amen!
Blessings to each and every friend and reader of His Inscriptions. You are loved!
