THE TWO DOORS
Dear Friends,
For several weeks now as I’ve listened to the Lord, I have felt such a fiery passion in His heart for intimacy with His Bride!
There is a loud cry and a standing invitation in the Spirit for the Body of Christ to “come up higher” and abide in an ascended place of intimacy with our risen Lord.
I had a vision of the enemy trying to advance ahead of the Bride, digging ditches and depressions along the path and desiring to trip her. But her intimacy with the Lord and her ability to walk in the Spirit kept her high above such traps.
Even as Satan is trying to disturb and deconstruct heaven’s influence on earth, God is shaking demonic foundations and bringing heaven to earth!
Specifically, I’ve been drawn to Christ’s words to the church of Philadelphia in Revelation. I’ve heard the Lord say that in order for His Bride to be a present-day overcomer, there are two doors she must access. Two doors must always remain open.
The first door is the door to the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Lord’s message to Philadelphia is a key message of authority for our time. In Revelation 3:8, we discover that there is one door the enemy can never shut: the door Jesus Christ has opened in the spiritual realm.
Nothing can close the door to heaven, whose “key” is faith in God’s Son. The Lord is still proclaiming: “I AM the door! If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9) Nothing can separate the believer from His love or provision!
The letter to Philadelphia reveals that overcomers receive not only access to God in heavenly realms, but also a permanent abiding place as “pillars” in God's temple, bearing God’s Name:
"The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name." ~Revelation 3:12 NIV
"And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and He welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. For He has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to Him!" ~Hebrews 10:19-20 TPT
Philadelphia (meaning “brotherly love”) was named after Attalus II in 189 BCE. Attalus was nicknamed “Philadelphus” by King Eumenes II, who considered him a loyal, faithful brother. The city was established as a missionary outpost for Hellenist (Greek) culture and thought. It was also known for its frequent earthquakes.
The words Christ gave to the Philadelphian overcomers are promises for us today. In a time of both natural and systemic “shakings” and great hypocrisy, those who faithfully persevere will receive provision and protection in worldwide trials (Rev. 3:10).
He who is "holy and true" (Revelation 3:7) speaks into the name and destiny of the Philadelphian church when He commends these believers for their faithful perseverance. In an age where liars abound, Jesus's love will be so manifest that even the most demonically inspired worshipers will be forced to acknowledge God’s love for His people (Rev. 3:9; see also John 14:21).
He who "opens and no one can shut, and shuts and no one opens" is the God Isaiah saw removing Shebna from office in favor of Eliakim. (See Isaiah 22:19-25.) Today, the same God is removing false shepherds who have mismanaged His Kingdom and installing secure fathers and mothers as "Eliakims" in their place.
If the prophecies to Philadelphia are for us today, how do we access the first “door set before us” in Revelation 3:8?
John shows us the way.
Just one chapter after hearing Christ’s promise to the Philadelphians in Revelation 3:8, John looks into the Spirit and sees the open door to heaven. (Revelation 4:1-2) Believing, he chooses to go through!
John walks in the Spirit and gives documented proof that believers in Christ are bi-locational. By faith, your spirit-being can ascend to supernatural places while your physical body remains on earth.
THE SECOND DOOR
Even as the Lord urged me this year to speak on intimacy and how to enjoy access to Kingdom realms, I inadvertently discovered that there was more to this message.
There was, He reminded me, a second door that must remain open for present-day believers to be overcomers.
Sickness swept through our home and I became ill for several weeks. Not wanting to miss my times with the Lord, I resolutely continued to press into the Spirit.
One morning as I poured out my heart to the Lord in prayer, I was too exhausted to “arise” or “access” any spiritual doors! Physical worship felt impossible; I could barely breathe without fits of coughing. I completely identified with those of “little strength” in Revelation 3:8!
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted.
A powerful wave of peace flooded the room and the Presence of the Lord filled my entire being. Both the love and the Fear of the Lord became thick and tangible. As that happened, I heard the Lord say: “I choose to come and dwell with you, too! I come and eat with you when the door of your heart is open to Me!”
The intense reality of God indwelling the believer encompassed me so strongly in this encounter! The Lord mercifully reminded me that He communes with us even in our weaknesses whenever the second door - the door of our heart - remains open to Him.
Such a glorious reminder that access to the Kingdom of God is never out of reach; it is within! Christ comes to us:
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me.” ~Revelation 3:20 NIV
In the midst of this encounter, an unexpected thought surfaced: If believers were called to "eat" of the Lord’s Body and blood (John 6:53-58); what did He eat? I had nothing of substance to give the Lord that day; no physical strength remained!
The Lord responded to this thought with a reverberating voice: “I FEAST on your praise! I FEAST on your worship!”
I sensed such immense delight in the Lord's heart as He said this. Simple acknowledgement of His Presence caused Him to draw near; in response, His Presence evoked gratitude to erupt in praises to Him!
"These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at My Word." ~Isaiah 66:2
OPEN-HEARTED INTIMACY
There is an increase of the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord being released right now that is meant to keep the Bride in this protected cycle of shared communion and close intimacy with the Bridegroom.
Just as the first door of Christ’s heart is perpetually open to us, so the second door of our heart must remain open to Him. The key to the second door is honesty in the Fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 33:6)
You can set an open door in your heart just as Jesus has set an open door in His. Paul confirms this relational truth when he writes:
“We have spoken freely to you… and opened our hearts wide to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. As a fair exchange - I speak as to my children - open wide your hearts also.” ~2 Cor. 6:11-13
True worship, whether offered in strength or in weakness, is real food to Christ, just as the sacrifice of His Body and Blood is real food - living bread and water - to us. Our worship and intimate fellowship is a reasonable service and a "fair exchange." God has chosen to be with us in this realm just as He hopes we will choose to be with Him in His!
The incredible beauty of Christianity is that abiding in Christ is not limited to our strength alone; when we abide in Him, He also abides in us. Healing for the body and hope for the soul are forever accessible through open-hearted intimacy.
No matter what "shakings" you are experiencing today, I pray that the beautiful mystery of communion and friendship with Christ will sustain you as it does me. May you overcome all as you pass freely between The Two Doors.
Deborah

A VISION OF TRANSPARENT LEADERSHIP

For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.
~ Luke 8:17
Dear Friends,
Psalm 12 releases a cry from the heart of David which we might strongly identify with today:
‘Save and help and rescue, Lord, for godly people cease to be, for the faithful vanish from among the sons of men. They speak deceitful and worthless words to one another; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak… who have said “with our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord and master over us?” The wicked strut about in pompous importance on every side, as vileness is exalted among the sons of men.’ (Ps. 12:1-2; 4;8 AMP)
In the wake of recent revelations concerning the depth of sin in the Body of Christ, it can be tempting to become distrustful or even cynical about Christian leaders in general.
Where is the purity and power we are to walk in, through Christ? How many more of our leaders will fall? Why do so few seem to live in the holy Fear of the Lord?
I believe the high-level exposures we are seeing today are God’s answer to entrenched sin and long-term injustices. Love’s covering (for those who are repentant and pliable in God’s hands) does not preempt truth’s exposures, nor stop justice’s actions when repentance has been forsaken. We serve a merciful yet just God:
‘“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, now I will arise,” says the Lord, “I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”’ (Ps. 12:5)
When God speaks, His words are measured and true. When He judges, His goal is restoration, not condemnation.
God is not mocked by sin; nor is He blind to what has been happening all along. He longs to restore, yet when this is not possible He bears the sword, lest His children learn that sin is somehow acceptable:
‘“Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.’ (Jer. 23:24)
“The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times. You, O Lord, will preserve and keep [the afflicted]; you will protect him from this evil generation forever.” (Ps. 12:6-7)
Months ago, I began encountering the Lord Jesus in visions of what looked like an office.
This “office” of His was very high up, in a corporate tower one might see in any city. In each vision, I would enter the doorway of Christ’s office, speaking with Him in prayer about certain matters. Not surprisingly, these talks usually had to do with the “legal” or “business” side of Kingdom ministry.
Again this week, I was taken up to this “office” of Christ in the Spirit. This time, however, I felt impressed in the Spirit to learn more about the office itself: Why was it so sparse? So high? I had noticed only two windowed walls in this office; what else was there?
In response, Jesus expanded my vision to see that we were in a very tall, heavenly office building made entirely of glass. This skyscraper symbolically housed the five-fold offices of His Church at large.
Christ’s office, containing only a desk and chair, was at the top. His office windows overlooked the entire world.
Jesus reminded me of His wilderness temptation at the pinnacle of the temple; would He serve Satan to gain dominion over the earth?
He had refused Satan’s offer, choosing instead to receive His Kingdom from the Father’s hand. He now ruled every kingdom of the world from this spiritual “office,” overlooking them all!
As I continued to gaze into this vision, I saw that not only the windowed walls but also the desk, chair, and floor were transparent.
Transparency defined means “allowing light to pass through so that objects behind can be distinctly seen; easy to perceive or detect.”
The vision allowed me to look through the floors, walls, and furniture of every office in this building and see with perfect clarity! Nothing, it seemed, was hidden from His eyes - or the eyes of anyone else in the building.
As we spoke, I learned that in addition to leaders in their offices, there were also servants or “janitors” who worked in the building. Their purpose was not to have an office themselves but to serve the leaders who did.
As with any office building, it seemed obvious to me that of course cleaning crews would be needed as well as administrative staff, to help dispose of debris or to file records and documents away.
Yet as I examined the Lord’s office, I saw that there were no file cabinets; there was nothing in the room but transparent furniture, clear windows and floors, and Christ Himself!
The Lord responded to my thoughts, saying: “I keep no records of wrongs.”
In Christ’s Kingdom, not only is nothing hidden but the past is also dispensed with in such a way that there is no need for documentation of past sins or present failures. Leaders in His offices are meant to be honest and transparent. Only truth and love are on display.
In the vision, when failures surfaced or when the darkness of sin, deception, or confusion clouded a leader temporarily, a “janitor” was sent to their office to collect what needed to be discarded.
These janitors - faithful, often unnoticed servants of God - were human agents of transformation. They often carried mercy anointings like intercession, inner healing, pastoral counseling, or deliverance.*
Restoring troubled leaders through compassionate care, this godly “cleaning crew” helped dispose of any contaminants that could infect the rest of the workers. They filtered everything through prayer and the Blood.
While the world dug up documents on compromised leaders to expose and condemn them, Jesus was sending in godly men and women to help sanitize His leaders’ hearts!
Confessed sins were forgiven and forever erased from His memory. There was no record of them. What passed through the blood of Jesus Christ no longer existed; there was nothing to file.
In this heavenly office building, everything was designed to be transparent and full of light.
Revelation 21:21 gives us the only use of the word “transparent” (Gr: “diaphanes”) in the Bible, saying that the city of the New Jerusalem was pure gold and transparent like glass.
If a city on a hill cannot be hidden, how important it is that that city be filled with light!
For leaders, transparency is an indispensable quality. What the world considers hidden is completely open before the Lord; it is foolish to believe that anything done in secret goes unnoticed by heaven.
In Christ’s economy, the goals of exposure are truth, justice, and repentance. The purposes of repentance are purity, transparency, and restoration.
At this time, I believe God is restoring the holy Fear of the Lord to His Corporate Bride, especially to leaders who hold higher offices in His Kingdom. Deeply entrenched sin is being exposed so that we might learn to be transparent and pure just as He is pure.
Think of it:
Everything Christ did while on earth was out in the open (Mark 14:49).Christ came as the exposed, photographic image of the Father (Colossians 1:15). Anything we wanted to know about the Father or the Kingdom, Christ clearly disclosed to us - and will continue to do so (John 14: 21). There is no deceit in the Godhead. God will not lie to you (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18; Titus 1:2).
Truly Christ is “pure gold,” a transparent Leader; truly He expects us to be also!
In the vision, there was a stark contrast between the darkness and pride seen in some leaders and the transparency and openness of those truly belonging to Christ.
Many godly believers have been broken and deceived by sin. This was never God’s intention for His people, yet justice requires that He must judge between one sheep and another for the protection of the whole flock (Ezekiel 34:17).
I see the Lord raising up servant leaders who can faithfully enter the offices of even the highest leaders in the land to speak truth in love.
Healed and pure themselves, they are on rescue-mission assignments from God; trained to extend forgiveness without judgment. They are not afraid of sin; they are only afraid that an unrepentant heart might miss God’s mercy.
They are learning from today’s exposures to lead and minister transparently in the Fear of the Lord.
Are you one of them?

WHAT DAVID KNEW
To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I have unwavering trust and I rely on You with steadfast confidence.
~Psalm 25:1-2; AMP
Dear Friends,
During an early-morning prayer time last week, I was pouring out my heart to the Lord. Prayers for those I love; thoughts about ministry and the world we’re living in; challenges I face on a daily basis; all these came flooding out of my soul until suddenly I realized I was doing more talking than listening.
It is a deep desire of mine to hear the Lord’s heart, not just to pour out my own.
I quickly stopped to ask forgiveness, inviting the Lord to share HIS heart with me instead.
With such tenderness, He said: “THIS IS what’s on My heart. THIS CONVERSATION is what I died for!”
Immediately I was filled with such an awareness of the Lord’s unlimited love for His children.
We are quick to “censor” ourselves based on what we feel is right or acceptable as Christians, even in prayer. Yet God is quick to remind us that it will always be the relationship, not the protocol, that is most important to Him.
We develop deep trust in the Lord by honestly pouring out our souls. David writes in Psalm 25:1: “To YOU, O Lord, I lift up my soul!”
The shift from emotional dependency on others to a leaning, childlike dependency of our souls on the Lord is the very thing God hopes for most in His children.
It is the end of idolatry and the beginning of a powerful partnership when your closest confidante is the Lord.
God longs to listen to your heart! He longs to show you a graciousness that exceeds the human capacity to listen; to love; to understand; and to encourage.
In fact, your heart IS a prayer; so much so that the Lord says the Father knows what you need before you ask!
The well of Living Water is deep. The Holy Spirit is given without limit; without ration. Yet we are so used to rationed love and limited listening that we sometimes miss the beauty of the Lord!
There is no shame in lifting up your soul to the Lord with all its troubles and trials, joys and victories. The Lord delights in hearing them! He paid the ultimate price to rend the veil of separation so that you could know and trust Him this way.
Your hope of intimate communication with God will not disappoint. He is not too busy; He has no other agendas. God lives to strengthen, heal, and empower your heart.
What benefit is there to God? He knows that out of His gentle lovingkindness, you will find the courage to serve and obey Him in return. You will help bring many sons to glory.
What a beautiful relationship! Such a joy and a wonder that the God of all things would consider our hearts worthy of His attention!
David knew this and wrote: “ALL the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and goodness, truth and faithfulness to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.” (Psalm 25:10, AMP)
Keeping covenant with God is as simple as loving Him honestly from your heart. Everything flows from this place of deep openness, trust, and understanding.
When I know that my heart has been heard; when I sense that my soul is satisfied in His Presence, I can move mountains. I can conquer armies. I can stand against all the challenges that assault, day in and day out (Psalm 18).
This is the victory Christ died for: your ability to overcome all things through your heart’s trusting relationship with Him!
David continues these heartfelt thoughts in Psalm 26:6, saying he refuses the company of deceitful, wicked men. The "man after God's own heart" resolves that his life will revolve around God’s altar:
“Oh Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells! I will go about Your altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and declare all Your wonders.”
These are the words of a man smitten by the beauty of God’s love for him! These are the words of someone who was not afraid to pour out his soul to the Lord.
David knew that every prayer time would enrich him with greater trust and fresh confidence:
“O My God, in You I have unwavering trust and I rely on You with steadfast confidence!” (Psalm 25:2, AMP; emphasis mine.)
I believe that in this particular season, the Lord’s heart is to develop a deeper level of trust with His Bride than ever before. There is fire and passion on the altar of a consecrated life.
Intimacy with you is what Christ died for.
May He win you back as surely as He has won me.

How a "Mini" Prayer Retreat Can Reconnect You With God
Dear Friends,
Many times, people feel frustrated that they don’t hear clearly from God, yet they never take specific steps to cultivate a listening ear.
Since we have biblical promises that believers can hear from the Lord (John 10:27), it’s up to us to listen, lest we drift from God's good plan for our future!
In an excellent book entitled Living Forward, Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy warn that you will easily drift from your vision unless you take the time to develop an action plan that propels you towards your desired destination. “Drift” happens in your marriage, your vocation, or your spiritual life when you lose sight of your purpose and mission in those areas. If your "destination" is the heart of God, it makes good spiritual sense to devote time to that mission!
As 2023 draws to a close, I feel strongly to challenge you to block off at least an hour or two in the near future (a half day would be even better) for a “mini” prayer retreat. I'm providing a downloadable template you can use to guide you through your retreat.
The primary goal of your retreat is to co-create, with the help of the Holy Spirit, an action plan that will help you set goals for the new year and improve your relationship with God.
DOWNLOAD RETREAT OUTLINEWHY DO A 'MINI' PRAYER RETREAT?
Because they are so powerful, I hold prayer retreats on a regular basis each year. Schedules and priorities change so often; it is helpful to get away and “take inventory” to see where my spiritual resources are weak or depleted and what areas need growth or change.
Even disciplined believers with regular quiet times need dedicated times to evaluate what is working and whether they are moving closer to their ultimate goal of hearing and obeying God in every area of life.
For example, one of the chief distractions for most people is the constant notifications from smartphones. On our mini retreat outline, that problem would fall under the category of “present realities.”
To reach the goal of giving God our full attention, creating a specific action plan might include waiting until quiet times are over before turning on phones or setting specific times each day to check email and messages. Very few alerts on our phones require immediate attention, no matter how loud or persistent they seem!
A second priority is to increase the amount of time spent actually listening to God.
It is easy to read the Word, send up a few personal requests for the day, and then move on. The richest prayer times, however, come when we allow God space to speak personally to us, quietly journaling what He says. Taking time to meditate deeply on scriptures the Holy Spirit highlights yields good fruit!
PRAYER SUPPORT DURING YOUR RETREAT
The mission of His Inscriptions is to help restore life-giving communication with God.
If you decide to use the digital resource above, I would be delighted to pray for you on the day you choose for your retreat so that you feel confident that God will speak to you.
There is power in unified prayer! Simply contact me with the date and time of your prayer retreat and I or members of our prayer team will cover you.
WHERE TO DO A PRAYER RETREAT
If you live in the New England area and need a quiet place to do a spiritual retreat, there are a few options. Our own House of Prayer, (My Father's House) hosts dedicated retreat days each year (visit our House of Prayer page for info/updates).
The Sanctuary at Woodville in Hopkinton, MA also has space for individual or corporate prayer retreats as well as beautiful trails you can hike around a lake.
The Sanctuary in New Hampshire offers overnight stays for prayer and space for corporate retreats.
L’abri.org is another well-known resource for Christians, with retreat centers in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Canada, England, Australia, Switzerland, Korea, and even Brazil. Guests spend half of each day in self-directed study and the other half working in the community. Dinnertime conversations and lectures are always spiritually focused and very enlightening! I have enjoyed many pleasant hours in both the American and Swiss Alps retreat houses. More info here .
Lastly, check with churches in your local area for prayer rooms that are open to anyone wishing to use them. It is a rare church that will turn away someone who wants to invest time in prayer! These settings are usually quiet and conducive to personal reflection.
A FRESH START FOR 2024
Please join me in honoring the Lord with the firstfruits of our time as we enter this New Year!

"THERE IS A STRONG ANOINTING COMING UPON MY WORD!"
Dear Friends,
This week, I heard the Lord saying:
"A STRONG anointing will be upon My Word from this point on. Where you once found My Word dry and meaningless, you will now see Bible verses come alive to you as I shepherd you through your daily readings.
"In this season, I am breathing FIRE onto My Words that will ignite encounters you have never known before. You will find Me as a good Father who is actively at work to win you back from the lies and deceptions of the enemy."
I heard the Lord say clearly that His Word is going to bring a RICH REVELATION of goodness to you right now; goodness that heals you!
As you open up your Bible, portions of scripture will become LIVING WORDS for you; "rhema" words that help define where you are and what you are becoming.
The Spirit-infused breath of God is going to so illuminate and enliven the Words of the Father that some of you will literally sit and weep over His Word for hours, undone by His goodness and love.
There are "power encounters" happening right now for those who are seeking the Father in Spirit and in Truth. Those who intentionally set themselves apart, coming aside to spend time with God in His Word, will see God disclose Himself in fresh, new ways. These revelations of Himself within His own Word will leave you stunned.
Some of you will come out of your quiet time feeling like you have just encountered God 'as He is' for the very first time. Others will be undone by the reality of His Presence in the Word. The fresh anointing of power on His Word will transform you in an instant!
Strongholds in your life that have taken many years to develop will fall off suddenly as you simply position yourself before God's Word. You will ask Holy Spirit what to read and the moment you find the verse, He will activate deliverance, freedom, and healing for you.
What is old, dry, and lifeless is being shed like snakeskin from the Bride. There is a mighty, corporate work of deliverance being initiated by the One whose Name is Mighty God! Do not resist this baptism of fire, but lean deeply into study and time in the Word, and you will see great spiritual acceleration!
Jeremiah 23:29 NASBS
"Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?
Any remaining places of feeling orphaned, isolated, or misunderstood will be filled with God's goodness as you begin to receive the LIVING BREAD of Christ's Presence within the Word. You will go to take communion and find that you have no need of the elements because of the place of deep communion into which He has already brought you.
Every word you "digest" will activate something new and unexpected in you, bringing forth good fruit where once there was only evidence of curses at work. Just as your body knows intuitively what to do when food is ingested, so your spirit knows intuitively how to assimilate this fresh, living bread the Lord is now releasing to you.
In places where you have feared experiencing God, you will be sovereignly drawn into power encounters that set you free. Your part is simply to surrender to the Word and let it do its work!
Hebrews 4:12-13 ESV
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
I heard the Lord say He is activating for Himself a people who will "tremble at His Word."
This is not the trembling of fearful, apostate Israel, standing at a distance from Mount Sinai while Moses encountered God! This is the trembling of those whose entire passion is to KNOW HIM and to be as close as humanly possible to Someone who is entirely good and loving:
Isaiah 66:2 NASBS
"But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word."
There is a fresh, holy fear coming upon the Word of God for believers right now that will have the dual effect of strengthening hearts in love while at the same time exalting the reality of the LIVING WORD, JESUS CHRIST. Those who have the boldness to draw near will find themselves changed and empowered.
I had a dream this week to illustrate the heightening level of the Fear of the Lord:
I saw a massive, dark cloud in the near distance which was set against a stormy, red sky.
Out of this cloud came powerful thunder and lightning, and I knew and felt in my whole being that this cloud was the Presence of the Lord in a very real and tangible form. This power shook me to my core; there was no escaping such omnipotence and omnipresence!
When I woke from the dream, I was not afraid, but felt so overwhelmed by the MERCY of the Lord toward His people! He could in an instant destroy us; we are completely defenseless and insignificant compared to His greatness! Yet God chooses instead to love and empower us, revealing His might through the humility of Christ and through undeserved honor for His created ones.
The terror of the Lord is meant for God's enemies, not for you! The Fear of the Lord is an attribute of the Lord Himself in the form of the Holy Spirit, whom He wants you to come to know.
I pray you'll respond to the Lord's invitation to encounter an immeasurably powerful God who in mercy, restrains Himself to work "according to the power that is at work within you."
Deborah
Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
Amen.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
Dear Friends,
Two years ago while ministering in Tennessee, I had a middle-of the-night encounter with the Lord.
In a vision, the Lord seated me at a student's desk and showed me a workbook soon to be published for believers in the "School of the Holy Spirit."
The book's topic was spiritual leadership. I sensed it would be foundational to those wanting to grow in Spirit-led ministry.
In this vision, the Lord asked me to turn the book over and read the back cover.
When I did, I discovered that the author's name was my own.
The vision closed.
Today I am happy to announce that this very book - PROPHETIC LEADERSHIP - has just been published!
BOOK COVER
Here's a sample from the book's introduction:
"Without the help of the Holy Spirit, spiritual leadership and true Biblical ministry are impossible. Without wisdom and revelation, people will perish (Proverbs 29:18). In a world increasingly filled with deception, authentic prophetic leadership becomes indispensable.
Prophecy is a compass God gives us to help navigate the stormy seas. To ignore prophetic insight is to throw away what Jesus calls the key of knowledge upon which all prophetic ministry is founded (Luke 11:46-52).
Prophetic leadership, then, means leading through a reliance on the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and direction instead of our own (Zechariah 4:6). It is an ability to tap into God-given revelation that brings purpose, guidance, protection, healing, connection, and transformation to all who receive. This kind of leadership is not limited to prophets alone!
It is important to God that the Holy Spirit not be left out of our leadership and discipleship processes; so important, in fact, that His Son died to make the guidance of His Spirit accessible to all."
Prophetic Leadership is an 8.5.x 11" workbook that coaches you in revelatory ministry. It includes all of the material taught in our online course on hearing and seeing in the Spirit, along with more resources:
Reproducible dream interpretation maps Step-by-step information on how to do prophetic/intercessory prayer journeys on the landPractical help for dealing with Jezebel, religious spiritsReal-life teaching on how to nurture stillness and intimacy with God Prophetic protocols for church ministry teams, including sample team guidelines and application questionnairesIn-depth Bible study exercises for each teaching
The book is a wonderful gift for emerging prophets, intercessors, or anyone interested in Spirit-led leadership. It's also helpful for pastors and leaders who want to understand and develop anointed ministries with scriptural integrity.
The book is now available in paperback, kindle/ebook, or pdf formats on our website and on Amazon.com.
For those desiring prophetic mentoring, we will host our next live, online mentoring course (using this book's curriculum and more) beginning in February, 2024 (sign up below). In the meantime, the book allows you to study the material independently, at your own pace.
Thank you to those who have prayed for the publication of this new resource. We're praying it will be a blessing to you!
Deborah

PODCAST: COME TO BETHLEHEM THIS SEASON TO RECEIVE YOUR INHERITANCE!
Dear Friends,
This holiday season, I hear the Lord saying: "Come to Bethlehem!"
Bethlehem is a significant gateway and biblical marker; a place where the weariness, bitterness, and bereavement of past seasons are lifted off of you and you step into the rich promises of your new inheritance in Him. It's the place where you encounter the Christ child - but there is much more hidden wisdom about the city of Bethlehem:
It's the place Ruth and Naomi return to, emptied of everything, at the beginning of the barley harvestIt's the place Samuel secretly anoints an unknown David as kingIt's the place where Mary and Joseph find a humble stable for a promise to be bornIt's the place where fullness returns and inheritances are given
Over several encounters this week, the Lord said that many of you who have been faithfully persevering on your journey are "coming to Bethlehem" this holiday season in a humbled state.
Take heart: God sees you. In fact the Lord will be assigning inheritances to many of you over the next few months!
The Lord is going to make up to you all the bereavement, all the loss, all the pain of disappointments and betrayals. He’s going to remove that perpetual feeling of being “cheated” out of your inheritance by people or circumstances you could not control. He is releasing keys of creativity that will open up your heavenly supply lines in times of famine.
It's important to understand how returning to Bethlehem impacts your coming harvest:
You are being emptied of self, old habits, fleshly works and everything that opposes God as you return and encounter your crucified, risen LordYou are being prepared to nurture holy seed: the dreams, destinies, and visions God has supernaturally placed inside youYou are being invited to ASK for your mission field and RECEIVE your inheritance in the nations (Psalm 2)You are moving from an orphan/widow/foreigner mentality into an awareness of your sonship through Christ's resurrection (Ruth's story)You are being transformed from a child/servant/slave to a mature son or daughter of the King. You are His heir!
Listen to the full prophetic word on today's Bible Study podcast and step into the inheritance God has for you!
Blessings,
Deborah

“…you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
