2011 Thornton Wilder Playwriting Contest from Playscripts, Inc

Sick of your Screnzy script? Need some extra pages because you came up short of 100 pages? Consider entering Playscripts' Thornton Wilder Playwriting Contest.

One of the cool things about this contest is that it's free to enter and the prize is the publication of your play. And if you're lacking for inspiration, Thornton Wilder has already provided the foundation. I'll let Playscripts explain:

Attention playwrights!

Your very last chance to get a copy of the original version of The Love of Three Oranges

As you know, The Love of Three Oranges is moving to Playscripts, Inc and a part of that move is a brand new edition that has some changes from the original version available in stores now. I don't have an exact release date for the new edition but the current edition is going out of print very soon to make way for it.

If you want a copy of The Love of Three Oranges that looks like the one pictured in this post either for collectible or sentimental reasons, it's now or never...

I didn't get a chance to blog about it because of various Script Frenzy and Three Oranges related deadlines, but I managed to finish my edits/rewrites of Mistress Novel before April 1st. I'm finished" feeling, the term second draft feels appropriate.
