The Love of Three Oranges is now available for purchase through Playscripts, Inc!

The new revised edition of The Love of Three Oranges is now available for purchase over at Playscripts, Inc!

While you're over there, you can also see a (mostly) complete performance history of the show from 2004 to today and read almost the entire play for free online. (Just click the "Read free sample" link on the right side of the page for the free eBook.)

The old edition is officially out of stock though resellers will probably be selling ridiculously overpriced used and...

Script Frenzy 2011 Round-Up: Charts, graphs, feedback & final thoughts

Script Frenzy 2011 has come to a close and I wanted to take a quick look back. With NaNoWriMo hitting bigger numbers then ever before in 2010, I had high hopes for Screnzy 2011. I was really hoping that this was the year that would raise the event's profile.

Unfortunately, the Amazon cloud

Making yourself start those projects you've been meaning to start *FOREVER*

You've got this idea for a story that you are going to write someday. You've got that draft laying in a drawers somewhere that you swear, once you've got the time, you're going to clean up and edit. You'd love to have your family history written down and you will do it, Mom, you swear, soon.

And when you look at how long ago you first started promising yourself you'd do some of those things, sometimes it turns out to be years ago. It certainly didn't feel that long as it was...

Finished my Script Frenzy script! Oh, and you'll never guess what I've been working on…

To be entirely truthful, I actually finished my Script Frenzy script a couple of days ago. As expected, it ended well short of 100 pages. This isn't a huge problem, especially because it was a stage play, but I don't feel like it's fair to call myself a Script Frenzy winner unless I hit 100 pages. So I wrote 20 pages of character descriptions and other writing related directly to my script which I hope will inform the editing process. But even after all that creative...

The worst part of Spaz Hands

I've come a long way since the beginning of the hand situation and I feel like I've done a pretty decent job of rearranging my life to fit this new lifestyle I've been forced into. I'm figuring out new ways to work, trying to not to whine to family and friends and thinking outside the "use your hands" box. I'm grateful for the voice program which allows me to do some things and extremely grateful that I am blessed with good health in the rest of me.

I'm in a pretty positive...
