Currently reading – Tales of Neveryon, by Samuel R. Delany. In the summer of 2004, I had just moved to Philadelphia, and was working at a library at Temple University. It was a good job, but remote – it was at their art school, and I had to drive a half hour on the highway to get there from where I was subletting a place in West Philly. I started to fantasize about going to school at Temple and studying under Delany, a gay black science fiction writer I deeply respect who taught writing there. It was a nice dream. Instead, I quit and went back to temping.
