St. Patrick – From a Victim of human trafficking to The great evangelist !
Today is St. Patrick’s Day – that honors his death on March 17, 461.
But, do you know the true story?
At age 16 in Britain, Patrick was kidnapped by Irish pirates and enslaved for six years, caring for animals.
Patrick was a victim of human trafficking, but that didn’t define his life or his legacy.
He escaped back to Britain, but after becoming clergy, he returned to Ireland as an evangelist.
His love for the Irish people motivated his ministry across the land. He led thousands out of Celtic paganism to Christ and planted churches across Ireland.
The Irish celebrate him as their patron saint.
The Shamrock had been a symbol in the Irish pagan worship of the land and other dieties. But Patrick used the Shamrock to explain the Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as One.
The replications of Patrick teaching with a Shamrock have made it the symbol of St. Patricks Day.
His famous prayer is:
“Christ be with me,
Christ within me,
Christ behind me,
Christ before me,
Christ beside me,
Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ in quiet,
Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.”
This is the true celebration of St. Patrick !
The great evangelist, church planter, and use the shamrock to show the Trinity.
We all can learn from him and let God change the course of our lives.
We shall encourage each other to do what we were created to do – no matter our pains or past experiences.

Do you dream big?
What is your biggest dream?
HOPE – COURAGE – VICTORIOUS LIFE !
– is my dream – for America and all of us.
Do you dream big for America too?
This title caught my attention today – “Welcome to 1984 in America . “
Is this a dream? What do you say? True? False? You decide.
But before you decide, please read this:
A Romanian joke from communist times: God decided to allow Napoleon to return to Earth. Napoleon visited three countries: USA; Soviet Union; and Romania.
After he visited the USA he was asked: what did you like best in America? He answered: If I had had an Army like the American one, I wouldn’t have lost the battle at Waterloo.
After he visited the Soviet Union, He answered: If I had had a secret police like KGB, I wouldn’t have lost the battle at Waterloo.
After he visited Romania, he answered: If I had had a press like the Romanian one, nobody would have noticed that I had lost the battle at Waterloo.
Now, imagine this – After Napoleon visited America today; he answered : If I had had a press like the American one, nobody would have noticed that I had lost the battle at Waterloo.
Just a Romanian joke from communist times ? Make no mistake, the opposition is stronger today. Their powerful agenda is to destroy America one “day” at the time. No exception on March 8, 2016, the “Day Without a Woman’s Strike.”
What is our plan to stop them? Time to act. Time to dream big for us and for America. Our dreams and our actions are important. I urge you to get involved! To stand for truth and freedom in our culture. Together we can rebuild America’s freedom ! We can dream big. We can keep alive the American dream.

Do you want to live a courageous life?
Our world is full of violence and for many is a desperate world.
But, you want to live a Courageous Life. Let us help you bring it to fruition.
We all have noticed that in our world, Hope and Courage are hard to find.
Life for many people people makes no sense. Life purpose is constantly changing for them even to the point of no purpose at all.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is a “Silent Epidemic” called youth suicide sweeping America:
◦ Each day over 5,240 attempts by young people grades 7-12.
◦ The SECOND leading cause of death for college-age youth and ages 12-18 – is suicide.
◦ More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects,stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, COMBINED.
◦ Four out of Five teens who attempt suicide have given clear warning signs
Many young people have no hope for their future.
Many see their own future as: “However Bad You Think It Is, It’s Worse.” or they see life as “One hard problem behind other big problems.”
So, the question is how can you live a courageous life?
To do that you – or all of us – need to place :
1. Hope in God not in their circumstances.
2. God’s hope gives us meaning in life, hope and courage.
3. Hope in our politicians or our culture is no hope.
4. Hope without God puts all of us to shame.
To live a courageous life you / we must:
1. Embrace God’s plan for us
God’s people are called to be hopeful and courageous.
Having courage includes the willingness to live out with humility the “radical mission” God calls each one of us. His mission, guidance and power will give us hope. It will change us first and the world around us. American is not the hope of the world. Christ in us is the hope of the world! We are called in his name to be courageous, gracious and stedfast. Living this way we help the young generation to find hope and courage for themselves too.
2. Entrust our Lives to God
To be courageous we must remember that our lives are not our own. We need to live our new life daily by entrusting ourselves to God. He provides, protects, restores, confirms, strengthen, and establishes each life and the life of America. For that reason, God purposely calls us to objectives greater than us; to a life that is impossible to live without his power. By living for God the young generation will be inspired to do the same.
3. Engage the Battle
America needs courageous people to understand its reality, to speak the truth and act.
With courage we must reject both head-in-the-sand naiveté and conspiracy-mongering panic. We need each other. Courageously we can stand shoulder-to-shoulder together with God’s people.
Standing without God, without his power or his direction is foolishness. It hurts us and brings only desperation.
Almost 40% of youth suicides are associated with an identifiable standing alone lives or events, such as the death of a loved one, loss of a valued relationship, parental divorce, or sexual abuse.
We can and must bring God’s hope and courage to this desperate generation.
“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” – Plato
Do not be afraid of The light!
Do not be afraid to share The Light !
God is not trying to limit our freedom. He seeks to release us from bondage that can lead to sin and death. Romans 6:18.
He gives us freedom “If you abide in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8: 31-32
With God there is hope to live a courageous and victorious life! Hope for all of us and for our desperate young generation.
To have hope we shall

We have God’s power in us – to change this hopeless generation, and to help them live a victorious life.

Is this YOUR favorite Spring tradition too ?
Spring brings Hope, Courage and Victory for the future ! Spring helps us to see life in a better way.
We all have Spring traditions. Today, this is my Spring favorite tradition:
But, as a child, in Romania, where I was born, this was my favorite Spring tradition.
On March 1, Romanians celebrate the coming of Spring – with Martisor.
Women and girls receive Martisor on March 1, from men or boys, as a symbol of their respect and admiration.
Martisor is made from two twisted threads of wool, one colored red and one white.
The red represents the summer, and the heat, while the white represents the winter, and the cold.
Women wear the martisor all March, to bring strength and health for the year to come.
At the end of March, – Martisor – the red-white threads are tied to a branch of a fruit tree, to bring wealth.
Now, living in Texas for almost 29 years, my favorite tradition is – our state flower – the bluebonnets!
Do you know that the bluebonnets are found growing naturally only in Texas and at no other location in the world ?
Historian Jack Maguire wrote, “It’s not only the state flower but also a kind of floral trademark almost as well known to outsiders as cowboy boots and the Stetson hat.”
He believed that “The bluebonnet is to Texas what the shamrock is to Ireland, the cherry blossom to Japan, the lily to France, the rose to England and the tulip to Holland.“
Correct ! In Texas we love, treasure and protect those bluebonnets.

Are YOU Prepared to Rock?
Enthusiasm is contagious.
But success is what motivates many of us. Others desire even more – to do extraordinary, to rock, to do excellent in what they do. What do they mean? Surely, to be always super excited about their work or what they want to accomplish. Or what they have done – extraordinary work or deeds for a specific cause or purpose.
But to rock – to do extraordinary things – in any areas of our lives, in school, in any sport, profession or even in our daily lives we need to be prepared.
Why do we need to prepare? Well, listen to Benjamin Franklin:
because
Though we never know when we will face challenges, being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety and even losses. From our past experiences we know that by preparing we get closer to our victory.
Oh, do not worry! God will direct Your steps. All you have to do is to be willing to follow him and to rock for him.
Is there something holding you back?
Because the One who created you is ready to prepare you for what is ahead of You. God who calls you today is faithful, and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24
This world is forged by simple and ordinary people who daily glide themselves to do extraordinary things. Many of them have a desire to fulfill their divine purpose and to rock for God.
The secret is this – they all set their heart on pilgrimage. And God blessed them.
You need to find those people around you and join them. You will be inspired, challenged and surprised by what you can accomplish walking this way too.
God created You in his image and for him. Genesis 1:27 He prepares a way for You. Revelations 3:8
Are You ready to walk in his way?
Ready to rock for God ? He will instruct you to do His will here “on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
But, Evil is rising in our culture.
Our culture is constantly demeaning God’s word and demanding it’s way. The tactics of the enemy are to cast doubt and fear over believers, and to create a dark time and culture wars in America.
Some believe one of the reason has been the lack of leaders or their frequent ways of breaking their promises, or even preachers who want to accommodate the culture or be “sensitive to the culture”; or even churches that have a weak backbone.
For others the reason has been a politically correct media, or the compromising ways of so called “conservative organizations” .
Surely, all of those caused discouragement and doubts in people’s mind. As a result, many are seeking the middle ground too. No matter the reasons or pressure, we must stand on God’s promises and resist the lies of the culture. We must be prepared to ROCK for God – as Christians.
Yes, it is possible. I am speaking from my own experience. God prepares me to rock for him every day; somedays even in the mist of hardship here in America.
Moreover, God helped me to rock for him under persecution. You will be prepared to Rock for God!
We have to learn to turn each of our painful or difficult situation to God and follow him. Our hardships will be changed into opportunities to know Christ more intimately and to glorify him. People around us will know God . Our culture will be changed.
Are you prepared to Rock for God?
Because the One who is in us, is greater than than the one in the world. 1 John 4:4
Winston Churchill said:
“There comes a special moment in everyone’s life, a moment for which that person was born. That special opportunity, when he seizes it, will fulfill his mission — a mission for which he is uniquely qualified. In that moment, he finds greatness. It is his finest hour.”
So, are you ready to rock for God ? To find greatness and do extraordinary things with God?
Are you ready to be his tool of change in our culture and in America?
Today is your finest hour!
You can only do something today, and you can only take action now.
Think big! Attempt great things! Rock for God !
Rejoice in His Freedom. Share it with others.
You were created to Rock for God . He wants you to have A victorious life.
Follow him ! Get it gone! Plan. Prepare. Perform.
God is waiting for You. He delights in you. Zephaniah 3:17

Are you ready ? What does this mean to you?
This is the Romanian – Bucharest- Courthouse, where I had worked for many years as an attorney defending human and religious rights
against dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
I hope each picture will speak to you about what went inside of those walls.
My clients were my heroes!
By the grace of God I am alive.
Dictator Ceausescu is dead !
But he had build for himself a government with an unlimited power
who controlled every department of our lives; arrested people without a warrant or a probable cause;
where justice often was done behind closed doors;
A government who stole everything from us and killed many;
broke or tried to break people’s will;
Jailed many including families
Put their kids in orphanages owned and strictly controlled by the government
Many people just disappeared at Ceausescu’s orders
Used Securitate police to silence us
corrupt judges
or afraid attorneys who just approved what government demanded
and transformed Romania into a prison land.
What does this mean to you?
This is a reminder to all of us – Freedom is precious.
That America still needs us. Each of us has a great role or purpose in keeping America free.
Be AWARE that the Communist influence or desire to transform America into a communist or socialist country is still at work.

We surely are at a crosswords in America when it comes to the cultural wars.
We need God’s intervention and His guidance in us first to empower us to do it.
Remember – remain and fight with the Greatest power that is in us – Christ !

The Way to Your Glorious Victories !
Are you looking for a leader who can take your problems and turn them into glorious victories?

God is The Way to Your Glorious Victories !
Here are your benefits of following the great leader, God in Jesus Christ – Psalm 23:
As we follow God and Christ – not frightened, passive but obedient followers we have contempt in this life. Psalm 23:2-3
God knows and guides us in our earthly journey to the green pasture and quiet waters that will restore us and our circumstances.

The God of Life offers not only earthly guidance but the eternal guidance and comfort too. God is the only one guiding and walking with us even through our death. He will bring us safely to the other side of eternity – heaven.
Often we complain about our problems to anyone around us, looking for the right guidance or leader.
But God is the great leader; and the only one who can take your problems and turn them into glorious victories.
God is ready to guide you and lead you to the right places and in the right ways. Hope you take the time to listen to him and follow him today!
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”

It’s happening now!
It’s happening now! Wherever we look around us, in America or all over the world, our values are under stormy attack.
We hear a call to defend religious freedom in America:

Yes – we need to confront those attacks, storms and protect our values.
We surely need courage!
Courage once meant “the heart as the source of emotion.” Today, we consider courage the ability to act in spite of our fears. I know and understand that it takes tremendous courage to stand and speak before our peers and defend our values: free market, religious freedom, Free America!
But, if we don’t fight to protect them our lives and America will be indeed drastically changed. Ronald Reagan said: ” If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”
Our freedom comes from God and not from our government or big corporations supporting the government. ” you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Make no mistake, there is no freedom without God; not even in America!
I can testify to that.
I came to America as a political refugee in November of 1988. I grew up in Communist Romania, a country ruled at that time by a cruel dictatorship government of Nicolae Ceausescu. He strictly controlled our lives. We were taught that the truth was determined for us by the government and that Ceausescu was our God. Many who rejected or fought against the government’s definition of the truth were jailed or killed. We were required to worship the dictator.
Very few Christians survived the cruel communism persecution. There were few churches but all strictly supervised by the government. To be a Christian was very risky.
Nevertheless, I wanted to know the Truth. The small group of Romanian Christians I encountered there, including American Christians like Congressmen – Frank Wolf and Christofer Smith – and Senators frequently visiting and supporting our fight, Secretary of State and U.S. Ambassadors to Romania; all played an amazing role in my victorious fight, as a human rights attorney, against the government’s religious persecution .
Because of that, I courageously fought, as an attorney – a dissident – according to the Romanian Communist government, and we as Romanians won the war against religious liberty and religious persecution !
But today in America, our free market and our religious liberty are being constantly under attack. I urge us all to fight back. Together we can rebuild America’s freedom ! We still believe “In God we trust!”
Because “When we become so tolerant that we lead people into mental fog & spiritual darkness we’re not acting like Christians but cowards.” A.W. Tozer
It is time for all of us to stand up and fight!
We need strong conservative and God fearing representatives in our government including at the Supreme Court. Please Be Involved! Your voice and your actions are important.
Our silence and inactions will make us accomplices and part of those groups still wanting to building a new America – one without God.
It’s happening now! Time to Act is NOW! Your Voice is Important !

How – YOU can have an amazing life !
Do you know that
Your life is amazing,
precious,
unique,
and … moves pretty fast?
Enjoy it.
Don’t waste it !
I can hear you: “You don’t know my life!”
OK, I admit – I don’t know your life. But, all I am asking you is to be part of this great life existence and learn with us from it.
Take a minute and think about some of the lives we lost a year or few years ago. The tragedy of many of those lives was not death but what they let die inside of them while alive.
We all should learn for this.
Because each minute that passes is one that we cannot get back! Each minute or day is a gift. Spend time with your love ones. Cherish them. Make today a good day. Make life meaningful. Life can be sweet.
So, slow down, otherwise you could miss God’s miracles.
Because :
Life is a gift.
Life is an adventure.
Life is a fight.
Life is precious.
Life is a duty.
Life is a dream.
Life is a song.
Life is meaningful.
Life is a great promise.
So, we all should slow down.
Enjoying Life – a gift from God!
