You have The Power to change America AND the world !
You have The Power to change America and this world.
Yes, You !
America – This world – needs You !
Do you ever feel overwhelmed?
You feel that our world does not make any sense;
and that concerns and frightens You.
Your first reaction might be to complain to anyone who would listen.
TODAY, I am asking You to do something different – to take Your complaints to God.
Please take a deep breath, and say “When I am afraid, I trust in you.” Psalm 56:3
Being overwhelmed or experiencing uncertainty or fear is normal.
We all have been a prisoner of fear at one time or another. Many of us experienced fear of sickness; death, unknown; fear of separation; rejection or misunderstanding or fear of persecution.
But, to be paralyzed by fear is an indication that we question God’s ability to take care of us.
Fear is nothing but a dark shadow that envelops and imprisons us within ourselves.
You can conquer Your fear by trusting God. “The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear?” Psalm 27:1
God is sovereign. His plans are not dictated by human actions. Sometimes God uses even evil human actions to fulfill his ultimate plan. Luke 23:34
When You fear what lies ahead, You shall remember that You are never alone. Jesus Christ is Your light and Your way in the darkness night – Psalm 27:1
He has promised to be Your shield and Your great reward. Genesis 15:1 ; Isaiah 12:2
Also, God has promised You great blessings as You follow him. God’s blessings are always beyond Your imaginations! Only God in Christ brings in You – the peace that surpasses all understanding no matter Your circumstances – Philippians 4:7
God ALONE can take our daily problems and turn them into glorious victories. Be strong and courageous. Fear ONLY God. Trust him and be a tool in God’s hands to change America and the world.
God will guide You through painful or difficult situations, not necessary help You to escape them. God promised to be with us, strength us to meet and face those challenges. He never promised to eliminate them. He knows exactly what You need.
To have God is to have everything we need.
God is enough !
This should encourage You to be faithful to God, to rely on him for guidance, to utilize the potential he has given You, and to walk with him under any circumstances.
The world does not need any more complainers or frightened You.
It needs more of joyful, strong, courageous, full of God’s peace and freedom You!
In Christ – You too – are as bold as a LION! You just don’t know it yet.
So, under Your difficult circumstances faithfully follow Christ.
The Savior, everyone around You needs or is still looking for.
Because in Christ, You were created to change this world.
America – This world – needs You !
Yes . It can be done!
Throughout history, God has revealed his power to change the world through people like us. He promises to continue to reveal his power through us.
God had worked through me, had guided and had protected me even under the cruelest dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his cold-blooded religious persecution in Communist Romania.
God had made me a Conqueror and a Victor under persecution.
I should be dead.
But – I am alive by the grace of God.

God has been continually working through me.

With God You can change this world too.
So when You feel like this world is going crazy or You fell like running away from it, run to God. And listen carefully to God’s directions in Your life.
Unborn generations are depending on our faithfulness today.
America – This world – needs You !
There can be absolutely no doubt that our only hope or victory is in God.
So move ahead confidently doing what God directed You to do.
You have The Power – in Christ – to change America and the world!

President Trump has announced his choices for the Supreme Court – the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Your thoughts ?
Some conservative critics are considering the following as Kavanaugh’s major flaws:
He has a heavy base of support particularly among former Bush administration staffers.
That in Seven Sky, he went out of his way to avoid jurisdiction over Obamacare by classifying its fine as a tax, and in doing so, provided Chief Justice Roberts the club he would later wield to uphold Obamacare against Constitutional challenge.
That in Priests for Life, Kavanaugh expressed that the government had a “compelling government interest” in provision of contraceptive coverage.
That in Garza, Kavanaugh didn’t join a dissent that criticized Roe v. Wade, instead rejecting the government’s necessity to provide an abortion for an illegal immigrant on other grounds.
Lastly, Kavanaugh granted standing to an atheist suing the government over the Pledge of Allegiance.
Before you share your thoughts – Keep these in mind, too:
A. Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to his current position on the Court of Appeals for DC back in May 2006.
B. In 2009, he wrote in an article. “The indictment and trial of a sitting President, moreover, would cripple the federal government.” However, Kavanaugh went on to write: “If the President does something dastardly, the impeachment process is available. No single prosecutor, judge, or jury should be able to accomplish what the Constitution assigns to the Congress.”
C. That – according to many – if confirmed, Kavanaugh is an originalist who would have the second most conservative score next to Justice Thomas.
D. That – While in private practice, Kavanaugh served as Chairman of the Federalist Society’s Religious Liberty Practice Group.
E. That – Kavanaugh and his wife Ashley, have two daughters. He is a regular lector at his church, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

ARE YOU AMERICA’S RAY OF HOPE?
Be America’s Ray of Hope
I have great news for YOU. YOU were created to be a Ray of Hope ! – Matthew 5:14. BUT, the question is : Are You really living as a Ray of Hope? – OR – Are You America’s Ray of Hope ?
Surrounded by daily disturbing news or constant new adversity, YOU may feel hopeless or helpless. But, there is hope – as it is easier to deal with YOUR adversity when YOU believe that God is still in control of your life . – Romans 8:31.
Sure, YOUR hardship or your enemies might look like they have the upper hand; but in the end they are the helpless and hopeless ones. Because – We are more than conquerors in Christ! God is for us and He gave us all things. Romans 8:32
Please be encouraged. Decide to be America’s Ray of Hope! I am encouraging YOU and speaking with YOU from my own experience. If YOU have read my memoir – Saving My Assassin – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1496411838 – YOU know that under cruel religious persecution I had decided to be a Ray of Hope. And God helped me.
In the end – and by the grace of God – I am victorious, alive; and dictator Ceausescu is dead.
Because as we submit to God under any circumstances, He molds us into heroes. There is nothing about me.
It is all about God’s power in me, as He uses me daily as His tool. And for His glory. God is willing and ready to do the same in YOUR life as you let him use YOU as His tool.
This is the ONLY way – YOU will be America’s Ray of Hope.

The spiritual hopelessness or darkness… or fear of government, not God… or political correctness is covering America. The Berlin Wall fell in 1989, but Socialism or Communism didn’t. Choose God’s Freedom. Reject Socialism’s bondage! Fight agains the Socialism spreading in America today.
Everyone needs to know the horrors of a society without God – Socialism – and the power of God in each one of US. Take the time during this Summer break and talk with YOUR high school, college or graduate students back in YOUR home, life or YOUR hometown.
So many academics in America today are trying to sugarcoat their collectivist policies or whitewash the crimes of Socialism or Communism from history. They also work hard to brainwash students’ minds teaching them that Socialism or Communism is the solution for America.
I am speaking and have spoke in many Universities – for example – Georgetown University, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and various Law Schools. Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day !
To be a mother is the greatest and the noblest job in the world. It is a life long job and surely the most rewarding job.
As we all learn daily, being a mom means among others – being a nurse, a teacher, a negotiator, a driver, a doctor, a cook, a peacemaker, a spokesperson, etc, etc.
But, as my kids grew up, I have learned from them more about my job as a mom. Like, that I was not right all the time.
As teens they added another part to my job as their mom – to embarrass them.
I remember the wonderful lesson my son taught me when he was eleven years old or so. I was back stage with him, busy with my camera ready taking his last pictures, fixing his hair and his jacket as he was ready to play a solo on the big stage in few seconds.
Next, he gently touched my hand, looked straight into my eyes and with a sweet voice he said “Mom , can I ask you a favor?”
Yes, I responded joyfully. Thinking maybe he wants me to take more pictures or come even closer to the stage to take those pictures.
Instead he said “Mom, please don’t take any more pictures. You embarrass me. And please let others applaud first. It is so obvious that you are my mother! Please !”
Surely, I responded. I fixed his hair again and I assured him that I will respect that.
Then, he was called to appear on the stage and I left quickly to take my place in the audience.
And yes, I stood quiet in my seat, didn’t take pictures and waiting for others to applaud first his amazing performance.
It was so hard but I controlled myself. Gently, I turned around looking at the audience smiling and feeling so proud.
But inside of me I was screaming very loud :
“Do you know he is my son? Do you really know he is my son!” And finally I applauded too.
That day I had learned a great lesson from my son.
Immediately, I said to myself:
“I want God to be as happy and proud as I am about my son.
As I represent God to the world I want him to say : “ Do you know she (Virginia) is my daughter? Do you really know she is my daughter?”
I hope this Mother’s Day, and every day of our lives, we make God proud. And yes, our families too.
Our kids can indeed teach us wonderful lessons. Treasured lessons for years to come and now part of our legacy.

Wake up –
before the cruelty of Socialism or Communism will wake you up!
Please – Listen to my alarming call to you.
Almost 30 years ago I came to America as a political refugee from Communist Romania.
This weekend some in the media in America celebrated Karl Marx – the founder of scientific Socialism.
The New York Times proudly headlined, “Happy Birthday, Karl Marx. You Were Right!” in an article written by the philosophy professor Jason Barker. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/04/30/opinion/karl-marx-at-200-influence.html
Professor Baker believes that “educated liberal opinion is today more or less unanimous in its agreement (with) Marx’s basic thesis” on the flaws of capitalism. Surely professor Baker like many other professors never experienced Socialism or Communism. He forgot or avoided to talk about the cruelty and tyranny of Socialism or Communism.
I could not believe I was reading that in a newspaper in America – celebrating Socialism! I felt I was back in Communist Romania – Having a nightmare – Trying to wake up, to fight again against Communism and to go back to freedom to America.
Unfortunately the New York Times article was not a nightmare but an astonishing disturbing reality in America.
I experienced the horrors of Socialism or Communism. I described life under Socialism and Communism in my memoir – Saving My Assassin – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1496411838 – Tyndale House Publishers.
Those regimes killed more than a hundred million people in the last century. https://www.wsj.com/articles/100-years-of-communismand-100-million-dead-151001181
But, today in America, the “benefits” of Socialism and Communism are thought to students in the Ivy League, in the local community college or now even in the elementary schools. A generation has been taught lies about Socialism or Communism, and they believe them.
In 2017, the National Review reported that a poll found as many as 40 percent of people in the U.S. “now prefer socialism to capitalism.” – https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/03/socialism-poll-american-culture-faith-institute-george-barna-tradition
As you noticed, the word used is they “prefer socialism.” But Socialism or Communism is not a dress, a pair of shoes, or a college course you prefer that late on you can return it or drop it. Those lies “helping” you to “prefer Socialism” will take you directly to the Hell of it.
If we allow Socialism to conquer America, very soon the cruel reality of it will wake you up. Then, you will beg to return to freedom but it will be too late.
Appreciate the freedom you have in America. It”s easy to take freedom for granted, when you have never had it taken from you. Treasure freedom. Guard it.
There is nothing good about celebrating Karl Marx’s philosophy. His utopia led millions of people – under Socialism or Communism – to torture, prison or death at the hands of tyrants. His Socialism utopia takes away your right to worship God, institutes the government as “the State is the Divine Idea as it exists on earth,” and glorifies total government command-and-control over you.
The Communist leader V. Lenin decreed that “liberty is so precious that it must be rationed“ to ordinary people like you and me.
The lock of freedom and the cruelty of Socialism or Communism are real. Freedom is precious to those who don’t have it. Freedom has a special meaning to me. It comes AT a very high cost.
I was born in Communist Romania – during the totalitarian regime of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
Then Romania was a land of lies, and a prison land. Not one with real stone walls, steel bars, and watchtowers, but a prison land nevertheless.
The stone walls were the cruel, harsh life and treatment from the government; the bars were the lies; and the watchtowers were the suspicions, anxieties, secrets, and fears.
To silence us, the Communist government and dictator Ceausescu labeled any of our honest questions or skepticism as an anti-government statement, punishable by everything from loss of employment to execution.
We lived in a constant state of anxiety and mistrust where one could be denounced for anti-government statements by anyone: a neighbor, a classmate, or even a family member.
To avoid the dictator’s punishment many people remained silent.
Under Ceausescu’s Communist government, we were not free to confront the lies of the ferocious regime or dictator. Ceausescu ruled Romania with an iron fist. Romanians were arrested, beaten, and imprisoned for carrying or sharing a Bible or for going to church.
Ceausescu’s goal was to demolish many churches to make room for his palace. Church buildings were bulldozed and their land confiscated. Dictator Ceausescu declared himself a god and expected Romanians to worship him alone. Those who refused were punished and often jailed or murdered. His government strictly controlled lives, methodically silenced many, and starved others to death. Nevertheless, Dictator Ceausescu decreed that he had brought in the “golden era,” and every citizen was required to agree with him. Against the dictator’s strict orders, I used the old capitalist Romanian law to protect human and religious rights and took the government to court. I often feared for myself and my family.
Ceaușescu’s government was ruthless in imposing its will. Human lives meant nothing; obedience was all that mattered. The harder I fought, the more I became a target myself. My legal work, was labeled as an act of treason. I was declared an enemy of the state – kidnapped, arrested, beaten, tortured, placed under house arrest, and I came within seconds of being executed under the orders of Ceausescu himself.
But, God’s power in me was always greater for the mission ahead of me.
So, many of my cases became the subject of broadcasts on Radio Free Europe and Voice of America.
United State diplomats – The Secretary of State and Congressmen Christopher Smith and Frank Wolf, frequently came to Romania to talk about my cases.
Several of my cases became part of the US Department of State’s reports and part of the United Nations reports on human and religious rights violations in Ceauçescu’s Communist Romania.
And with that, finally – Ceausescu and his government – were exposed to America and to the entire world.
I am not a hero. I have defended many heroes. I only acted in faith, and with God’s power I won.
Today Romania is a flourishing, democratic country, that respects human and religious rights.
We enjoy freedom in America because others laid down their lives for our freedom.
To live free, we must be ready to die for freedom.
Freedom comes at a very high cost.
Many Americans value freedom with deep gratitude, while others take it for granted. It”s easy to take freedom for granted, when you have never had it taken from you.
There is no Freedom without God. Not even in America.
God set me free and worked remarkable things in me to change a country – Romania.
God wants to do the same thing here – to change us and to change America through us.

The once all powerful ruler of Romania, the one who declared himself a god, who built a huge palace for himself, “the man who grew stronger by destroying others” – Psalm 52:7; the one who jailed and killed many Romanians, especially Christians, was now defenseless.
Dictator Ceausescu, died as a criminal.
His famous final portrait of death was flashed around the world.
Freedom is a gift from God.
No government can make a chain strong enough to keep us from freedom. Our faith keeps us free.
“There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.” Proverbs 21:30.
We must not allow THIS to happen in America.
America has been the symbol of freedom.
A free America is God’s gift to mankind.
This very free America protected my life as a dissident in Communist Romania.

Almost 30 years ago I came to America as a political refugee from Communist Romania.
This weekend some in the media in America celebrated Karl Marx – the founder of scientific Socialism.
The New York Times proudly headlined, “Happy Birthday, Karl Marx. You Were Right!” in an article written by the philosophy professor Jason Barker. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/04/30/opinion/karl-marx-at-200-influence.html
Professor Baker believes that “educated liberal opinion is today more or less unanimous in its agreement (with) Marx’s basic thesis” on the flaws of capitalism. Surely professor Baker like many other professors never experienced Socialism or Communism. He forgot or avoided to talk about the cruelty and tyranny of Socialism or Communism.
I could not believe I was reading that in a newspaper in America – celebrating Socialism! I felt I was back in Communist Romania – Having a nightmare – Trying to wake up, to fight again against Communism and to go back to freedom to America.
Unfortunately the New York Times article was not a nightmare but an astonishing disturbing reality in America.

But, today in America, the “benefits” of Socialism and Communism are thought to students in the Ivy League, in the local community college or now even in the elementary schools. A generation has been taught lies about Socialism or Communism, and they believe them.
In 2017, the National Review reported that a poll found as many as 40 percent of people in the U.S. “now prefer socialism to capitalism.” – https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/03/socialism-poll-american-culture-faith-institute-george-barna-tradition
As you noticed, the word used is they “prefer socialism.” But Socialism or Communism is not a dress, a pair of shoes, or a college course you prefer that late on you can return it or drop it. Those lies “helping” you to “prefer Socialism” will take you directly to the Hell of it.
If we allow Socialism to conquer America, very soon the cruel reality of it will wake you up. Then, you will beg to return to freedom but it will be too late.
Appreciate the freedom you have in America. It”s easy to take freedom for granted, when you have never had it taken from you. Treasure freedom. Guard it.
There is nothing good about celebrating Karl Marx’s philosophy. His utopia led millions of people – under Socialism or Communism – to torture, prison or death at the hands of tyrants. His Socialism utopia takes away your right to worship God, institutes the government as “the State is the Divine Idea as it exists on earth,” and glorifies total government command-and-control over you.
The Communist leader V. Lenin decreed that “liberty is so precious that it must be rationed“ to ordinary people like you and me.
The lock of freedom and the cruelty of Socialism or Communism are real. Freedom is precious to those who don’t have it. Freedom has a special meaning to me. It comes AT a very high cost.
I was born in Communist Romania – during the totalitarian regime of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
Then Romania was a land of lies, and a prison land. Not one with real stone walls, steel bars, and watchtowers, but a prison land nevertheless.
The stone walls were the cruel, harsh life and treatment from the government; the bars were the lies; and the watchtowers were the suspicions, anxieties, secrets, and fears.
To silence us, the Communist government and dictator Ceausescu labeled any of our honest questions or skepticism as an anti-government statement, punishable by everything from loss of employment to execution.
We lived in a constant state of anxiety and mistrust where one could be denounced for anti-government statements by anyone: a neighbor, a classmate, or even a family member.
To avoid the dictator’s punishment many people remained silent.
Under Ceausescu’s Communist government, we were not free to confront the lies of the ferocious regime or dictator. Ceausescu ruled Romania with an iron fist. Romanians were arrested, beaten, and imprisoned for carrying or sharing a Bible or for going to church.
Ceausescu’s goal was to demolish many churches to make room for his palace. Church buildings were bulldozed and their land confiscated. Dictator Ceausescu declared himself a god and expected Romanians to worship him alone. Those who refused were punished and often jailed or murdered. His government strictly controlled lives, methodically silenced many, and starved others to death. Nevertheless, Dictator Ceausescu decreed that he had brought in the “golden era,” and every citizen was required to agree with him. When God seems asleep
When God seems asleep
Are you facing a storm in Your life?
The more you try to reach your adult children the more they rebel against you or God?
Your parents are filing for divorce and the more you try to convince them that God can heal their marriage, the more they refuse to listen?
The more you try to build or develop your business the more attacks you encounter because of your Christian faith ?
The world goes crazy on any level – christian persecution; human trafficking; political uncertainty in many parts of the world; religious killings and fights around the world; danger of nuclear attacks, etc, etc.!
All those storms bringing uncertainty.
How can you have a victorious life?
There are times in our lives when storms will or possible make even the wise stumble. Daniel 11:35
Like many before, you feel God is still in control but surely seems to be asleep.
You wonder why.
You may even say :
“Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep?
Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.
Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression?” Psalm 44:23
You are not alone.
David felt this way. As a child might cry to his father, so David cried to God.
The disciples felt this way too.
They surely felt that Christ was asleep during their storm.
They were in such a need of rest. Instead of rest they encountered a big storm.
You look to reunite with your children. Instead you encounter a big storm of rejection.
You asked God to reconcile your parents’ marriage. Instead you find yourself in a storm of uncertainty of their divorce. You think God is asleep.
The disciples felt the same. They wondered why when they needed help during their storm, Christ, the son of God was asleep.
Nevertheless, in all situations – for David or for the disciples – as in your case, God was and is in control, not asleep, and ready to help.
God wants to build first in us – during the storm – a stronger faith. In His loving plan for us – God had prepared the help we need in our storm.
When you feel in your storm, surrounded by darkness and uncertainty that God is asleep, resist those emotions.
Instead, follow God’s guidance, His light and His truth – Christ.
His truth – Christ – is your right path. John 14:6
His light – Christ – is your clear vision. Psalm 119:105 ; Psalm 32:8
Your faith in God will grow and be a testimony of your commitment to Him!
Few storms move fast but many storms last longer. In this process you might retain scars – emotional or physical scars – battle scars.
Your battle scars – insults; criticism; rejections, or cruel persecution – being jailed, arrested or tortured for Christ – are precious reminders of your loyalty to Him. Looking back we recognize that each storm made us stronger, served us to know ourselves and God better, and to walk closer to him.
Faithfulness to God brings great reward of peace, perseverance, and joy. Psalm 28:7 ; James 1:3
When we live for Christ glowing like lights we are showing others what Christ is like.
Be a beacon of Christ – of his light and his truth – affecting the world.
During your storm refuse to underestimate Christ ability to handle your storm. But patiently see Him in your storm, learn more about Christ, His power and love for you.
Then, joyfully you will proclaim that Christ is never asleep, always in control, powerfully able to handle any storm in your life. “My hope is in You! “ Psalm 39:7
As Christians each storm prepares us for the next storm coming. With faith in Christ AND holding his hand we move ahead walking on the water in the storm with Him.
We are called to thrive with Christ during each storm of our lives.
With Christ in YOUR storm –
you will experience that:
Nothing IS impossible with Christ!
And by allowing Him to work in you,
Christ will build YOUR :
unshakable Faith;
unsinkable Hope
unstoppable Love
even for Your enemies.
Stay strong with Christ in Your storm !
Prepare to experience unspeakable joy in Your storm with HIM!

Who guides Your life?
Who guides your life?
Who shapes your desires or your plans for your life ?
Many readers of my memoir – Saving My Assassin – asked me to share who shapes my life or the secrets of hope, courage and victory in my life.
Surely!
Here are my top 4 secrets :
1) Always Listen to Your Guidance
Many of us have plans and dreams for our lives. Some of us seek our own guidance but I’ve learned that there is a greater power outside of ourselves.
It’s that “gut feeling” or “voice” many people say we hear that no one else can see or hear. To me is God in Jesus Christ. I call that gut feeling God’s Holy Spirit and it DOES give us intuition on what to do with our lives. Psalm 119:105
It’s not always easy to follow God’s prompting. But we know that God always has our best interest in mind, and we are wise to give heed to his voice.
Following God’s guidance in your life – you are never alone – and that not only brings you hope, courage and victory but also joy and fulfillment!
Trust in God’s plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11
2) Go After Your Dreams
My motto in life is: “Dream Big! Attempt great things!”
Where would you like to be 12 months from now with your relationships, business, and health? If you want great accomplishments, write down your skills and the actions or behavior to go after those dreams.
Also, write down your daily actions, and the victories and/or failures.
Learn to see failures as special lessons, showing you how to do things differently!
Working hard under God’s guidance will lead you to victory!
God is on your side. He wants to give you the desire of your heart and your plans to succeed. Psalm 20:4
3) Associate Yourself With Inspiring “Giants”
Surround yourself with people who inspire you to be better, kinder, wiser, and more generous.
As the saying goes, “who are the 5 people you spend the most time with“?
If they are NOT people who inspire you to be all that God created you to be, you don’t have to drop them as friends – but – it’s certainly a great gauge to go out and find people who WILL inspire you.
You will find not only great friends to share your journey but great partners and mentors to guid you too.
Often our plans fail for lock of counsels. Proverbs 15:22
Start by making a list of the people you admire and you can learn from. Call them and ask for their help.
Meanwhile, look for ways they can use your skills. Proverbs 16:3
4) Reward Yourself – Pay It Forward
Giving back to others is the best reward or blessing! Acts 20:35
God wants the best for his children. He wants to use us to accomplish that.
Be God’s helper! Be prepared to share your talents and skills with others. Look for friends in need, people new in business, or for a nonprofit. Helping others out, mentoring others is a great way to improve your life and change the world! The ripple effects of helping others with wanting nothing in return can transform our communities, country, and world!
God is good and he will bring what he began in you to completion. Philippians 1:6
Therefore :
Trust God’s guidance and his promises for your life.
God will bring hope, courage and victory in your life.
He will make your path straight, fruitful and successful. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Is America standing in front of the Red Sea ?
America at the Red Sea
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg started testifying this week before Congress about the social network’s possible data misuses and privacy violations.
His testimony lasted yesterday six minutes short of five hours and covered topics regarding what went wrong, improvements Facebook can make internally, and possible regulations that need to be implemented. He testified today too.
And to our horror Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented as his defense or maybe just wanted to inform us, another tech giant’s misuse.
He focused on Apple CEO Tim Cook and the similarities between the iPhone and Facebook. According to the photo of Zuckerberg’s notes, iPhone app users and Facebook users are both required to give permission for the entity to access some information.
He noted that there has been a multitude of stories about iPhone apps “misusing Apple data” but that we’ve never seen Apple notify its customers.
You ask yourself: “Is this actually going on in America? Is America still free ?”
Watching this you feel personally under attack or losing your privacy and your freedom.
You almost sense that America and we – the American people – are cornered or under constant attack and ….
yes ! …… you wonder if America is in front of the Red Sea !
You wonder if our freedom is gone!
From where does our help come?
Would we finally call on God ?
Or still expect the politicians to help?
Yes – we can encourage everyone to call on their Congressmen and Senators for help;
or to call on President to build a bridge for us to escape to freedom.
Or wait for the US Supreme Court to make that decision after years of heavy litigations.
If we acknowledge or not – America is standing in front of the Red Sea !
God still wants to lead us to Freedom.
But, would we call on God ?
Would we say? : ” With OUR God we Can and we Will.“
From where does our help come?
It is time for us and America to return to God ! – Joel 2:13
With God in all those things we are more than conquerors. – Romans 8:37
Would you be the one to lead people to God?

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg started testifying this week before Congress about the social network’s possible data misuses and privacy violations.
His testimony lasted yesterday six minutes short of five hours and covered topics regarding what went wrong, improvements Facebook can make internally, and possible regulations that need to be implemented. He testified today too.
And to our horror Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented as his defense or maybe just wanted to inform us, another tech giant’s misuse.
He focused on Apple CEO Tim Cook and the similarities between the iPhone and Facebook. According to the photo of Zuckerberg’s notes, iPhone app users and Facebook users are both required to give permission for the entity to access some information.
He noted that there has been a multitude of stories about iPhone apps “misusing Apple data” but that we’ve never seen Apple notify its customers.
You ask yourself: “Is this actually going on in America? Is America still free ?”
Watching this you feel personally under attack or losing your privacy and your freedom.
You almost sense that America and we – the American people – are cornered or under constant attack and ….
yes ! …… you wonder if America is in front of the Red Sea !
You wonder if our freedom is gone!
From where does our help come?
Would we finally call on God ?
Or still expect the politicians to help?
Yes – we can encourage everyone to call on their Congressmen and Senators for help;
or to call on President to build a bridge for us to escape to freedom.
Or wait for the US Supreme Court to make that decision after years of heavy litigations.
If we acknowledge or not – America is standing in front of the Red Sea !
God still wants to lead us to Freedom.
But, would we call on God ?
Would we say? : ” With OUR God we Can and we Will.“
From where does our help come?
It is time for us and America to return to God ! – Joel 2:13
With God in all those things we are more than conquerors. – Romans 8:37

Inspirational story – A Cautionary voice – for America
This is an inspirational story. Buoyed—one might say propelled—by her faith, she moved mountains. She risked brutal interrogations and fears of “disappearance.” Throughout, she is guided by her Christian faith.
This is also a cautionary tale. We see in America the same hostility toward Christians that she experienced in communist Romania. In both countries, for example, she defended congregations against zoning ordinances designed to close their places of worship.

COLORADO SPRINGS: In Saving My Assassin Virginia Prodan writes an unforgettable book of her life growing up in communist Romania. The story is full of suspense. The reader could not be faulted for thinking it a very good work of dramatic fiction. But it’s not. It is the true story of how a diminutive young woman defied Nicolae Ceausescu, one of the world’s most brutal dictators.
Growing up in the Communist state of Romania
Ms. Virginia Prodan grew up during the communist regime of Nicolae Ceausescu. As a child, she writes, she had a love for truth and wanted to become a lawyer. Against the odds, she succeeded. The story of her childhood is itself an incredible story of the struggle against adversity.
What is most compelling is that while realizing her dream of becoming an attorney, her life changed: she became a Christian.
As she writes in the dedication to her book,
The book describes her time in Romania practicing law. Those who grew up during the Cold War era know about the depravities of communism, secondhand. In reading Ms. Virginia Prodan’s book, we learn about how Romanians endured it, firsthand.
The author tells her story as it is happening. When she takes her entrance exams for law school, she doesn’t know whether she will pass or not, and neither do we. The reader is with her every step of the way.
So is God.
Walking with God
What comes through with unfailing clarity is Virginia Prodan’s complete reliance on God’s grace and protection.
While the state persecuted the church, Virginia defended it. The communists, confident in their power, were sloppy. They didn’t erase old laws. Christianity was not against the law despite Ceausescu’s desire for it to be banned. It was in this narrow space between the legal and Ceausescu‘s extra-legal decrees that Virginia fought with the legal system.
And won. Again and again.
In the process, she became a thorn in Ceausescu’s side.
One retelling is when the dictator sent an assassin to kill her. Instead of succumbing to her fear, she gives witness to her killer; she tells him the love God has, even for an assassin such as he.
Remarkably, the killer holsters his pistol and leaves. Living in her faith, Virginia Prodan lives to tell the tale.
The inspiration of faith

The book is a memoir of her time in Romania—but it is not the end of her story. Today, Ms. Virginia Prodan is still an attorney. She is an International Human Rights Attorney and an Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom.
We are blessed to have Virginia Prodan’s book. More blessed is that we also have Virginia Prodan herself.
