Halloween Coloring and Activity Book is a fun activity book that features the characters from the Underground Toy Society. The toys combine to give us a festive experience with activities such as coloring, drawing, finding words, solving mazes, number exercises, and more. The book includes more thought-provoking activities such as explaining your favorite pastimes or writing a spooky story so you can share them with others. Jessica D. Adams combines the best ideas to stimulate the imagination along with many coloring images with designs of toys, pumpkins, and candies. This book provides hours of entertainment for children and is perfect for spending enjoyable evenings. In addition, this type of book helps exercise memory and assists children to become familiar with having a book from an early age.Halloween is about having toys, candy, and fun. The Halloween Coloring and Activity Book takes advantage of children's likes to create a book that will undoubtedly be enjoyed. I liked the variety because it includes a little bit of everything. Coloring pictures feature the friendly Underground Toy Society characters, who take it upon themselves to find new homes for abandoned toys. In this book, you can interact with familiar characters who focus on doing good deeds. The activities encourage the development of concentration, in addition to training children in how to solve problems and helping them with language development. In this book, Jessica D. Adams has made it possible for children to learn a great deal using multiple games."

Outdoor EventsWhen I started out as an author back in 2015 I truly had no idea what I was doing when it came to events. My first few events were outside. What I knew I needed was:
A table A canopy in case of rain A way to price my booksWhat I didn't know I needed:
A plan for windy days A tablecloth that wouldn't blow away in the windMy thin, paperback books constantly blew out of the flimsy holders I had purchased.
Click the following link for: My top pick for outside events for very windy days and very fast set up time. * US affiliate link
For size comparisons, my smallest books are 5" x 8" and my largest books are 8.5" x 11" and they fit nicely inside. The huge benefit to these is that you can store your books in these stands, take them along to the event, set them out on the table, and you're ready to sell!

You could use the above stands for limited space, but it also limits the view of your book covers if you have more than one book published.
If you think you are only ever going to publish one book, you are probably wrong, just like me. So, plan to write more than one book. It's easier that way, trust me.
Sharing space with other authors can be a great way to save money on the cost of the event, but also a great way to network and learn from each other.
But how do you get your books to stand out among all the other books?
I use a tiered bookstand that helps display my book covers. Some book covers still get slightly hidden, but it is better than the first stands as far as seeing the book covers. This stand is okay on windy days outside, but not perfect. It is best suited for indoor events. It also helps with quicker set up time because you can have the books already loaded into the shelf when transporting them.
Here is a US affiliate link * to a similar product to my cardboard bookstand pictured below: Classroom Keepers Book Shelf 3-Tiered

And now for my favorite book stands!
These are great for displaying the full cover if you have unlimited space. I have not tried these outdoors yet so I don't know if the books would blow away in the wind or not. If I try them at outdoor events I'll try to update the post if I remember.

I love these labels for pricing my books! I cut them down to the size I need. They are write on only and I use pen.
They do not smudge. When I need to remove the labels, they come off easily and clean. No sticky residue! Check them out with this US affiliate link * ,Avery Removeable Rectangular Labels
Thank you so much for reading!

The Underground Toy Society and the Annual Toy Drive Coloring and Activity Book tells the story of Murry Mole, who helps abandoned toys find new homes. One night in December, while digging his tunnels, he accidentally comes across a toy store where he meets Billy Bear, who explains to him what a toy store is and what a toy donation box is for. Murry Mole gets excited about helping his friends. However, the box is only for donating new toys. All is not lost, as between the new toys and The Underground Toy Society, they collaborate to help the used toys by using their creativity. Jessica D Adams teaches us about friendship, companionship, and helping without expecting anything in return through this coloring book with activities.I loved the way Jessica D Adams develops a story with so many lessons. Teamwork is a lesson that every child should learn because it will be useful for life. Helping others is what helps us to stick together as a society. The Underground Toy Society and the Annual Toy Drive Coloring and Activity Book also talks about more everyday things, like valuing toys and putting them to good use. Another aspect I liked was that with it being a coloring book, children can interact in a more personal way with the story. And, at the end of the book, there are activities with questions to get children to think more about their toys and family traditions. This is a great book for learning and developing creativity."

Annual Toy Drive: The Underground Toy Society is a sweet book that tells us about teamwork, cooperation, and helping others to improve a situation for the common good, all this through a friendly group of toys that do everything they can to help others. Jessica D. Adams tells us the story of The Underground Toy Society which is dedicated to finding new homes for toys. But it's hard to find homes for used toys. One option to help toys is with a donation box, but the problem is that the box is only for new toys. And is here where creativity is born to find a solution. This book is a good way to teach children respect not only for their toys but for the condition of all things. It’s a good method for understanding what it means to give new life to any object.I liked the way that Jessica D. Adams expresses various social values in a story that is easy to understand and that children can reflect on and learn to talk about. She shows us helping without expecting anything in return, teamwork, solidarity between a good united group, appreciating the use of things, kindness, and much more. Annual Toy Drive: The Underground Toy Society has simple but clear images that help visualize the interaction between the characters. This story gives a very pleasant reading experience and opens the possibility of talking with children about many important topics, giving them very useful lessons for life. The positivity that Jessica D. Adams shares in her book is something to be admired and is perfect to share."
