Free Printable Gift Tags with Teddy Bears Holding Gifts
Look for printables!
It is so easy to fill in the gaps with things that you run out of or forgot with so many wonderful printables online.
We were running out of gift tags, so I decided to create my own.
The best part is, I'm sharing them with you!
You will receive two sheets of gift tags - One sheet of colored teddy bears and one sheet of black and white teddy bears for you or your kids to color.
They are perfect to inspire kids to give during the holidays or any time of the year.
With kids so focused on what they want for Christmas, let's make sure we help them realize that giving is an important part of the holidays as well.

When kids are required to read something for school, they can sometimes view reading as a chore.
Who wants to read when it's a chore?
When kids don't have the desire to read, it's frustrating to teach them to read.
That's why we designed some fun printable activities to get kids excited about reading!

Another fun printable activity you will get when you subscribe is our room cleaning trackers. Teddy's smile has the numbers 1-7 inside his smile. After kids clean up each day, they can color in the numbers in sequence to see how big teddy's smile will be at the end of the week.
Kids will want teddy to be as happy as he can be, so they will want to clean up every day!
A good way to reuse this activity is to put the teddy's smile worksheet inside a plastic page protector and use a dry erase marker.

Parenting can be so hard at times.
It's so hard to be a fun parent when all you feel like you do is yell at the kids to clean their rooms and do their chores.
Then there's the problem of getting kids off their electronic devices to go read, or play, or get outside.
It's a never ending cycle and it's exhausting.
There has to be a better way to encourage kids to get moving!

What a Bear-Napped Teddy Bear Taught Me

My daughters and I were excited to enter two local pumpkin decorating contests. The good news is we all won prizes in one of the contests, yay!
The bad news is that when I went to pick up our pumpkins from the other place, my teddy pumpkin was gone! Nobody knew what happened to him so they took my name and phone number and I waited to hear if they found him. Luckily, my daughters' pumpkins were still there.
About a week later, to my surprise, I was told that my teddy pumpkin had been found! It was raining the day of the outdoor festival where the pumpkin contest took place, so the ladies likely cleaned up very quickly. One of the ladies ended up putting teddy in her bag and took him home. Oops! Luckily she finally realized she had him and returned him.
But that's nothing compared to what a major online book retailer just did to me! Small businesses can remedy their mistakes and go out of their way to find a little lost teddy bear pumpkin. Big businesses don't care and do whatever they want without even telling you what they are doing!
I requested a price match on two of my eBooks to set them as free across all countries. It takes some work and convincing, but they price matched two eBooks to free. Authors often do this to reach more readers and it sometimes helps to gain some reviews or purchases on other books.
Everything seemed fine since I got the price match in August.
A few days ago, one of my contacts on Instagram asked for books to read on her account, so I asked her if she could read my Christmas-themed story that was free to download. Apparently, it was not free for her! It was still showing free in the US and AU, but in the UK where she was located, it was no longer free!
The huge problem with this is that I've been sharing and sharing on social media that my books were available for free downloads! Oops! This big online book retailer made me out to be a liar because they took away my price match without warning or notice! Thanks a lot! I have no idea how long ago the price match disappeared!
So, I've had it with them. Well, not really because that's where it seems most people want to leave reviews. It's very frustrating because it's so hard to stand out anymore. I barely got downloads on my free eBooks anyway. A few new reviews came in so at least that was a benefit.
I figure there is no point in trying to request another price match. Two books are still price matched to free in the US, but all other countries have reverted back to paid. Gifts for Kids Who Have Everything
What do you give kids who already have too much stuff?
What do you tell family members when they ask the inevitable question, "What should I get your kids for Christmas?"

Don't panic! Be prepared for the question with some options that will not overwhelm your kids and your already overflowing house.
One idea could be to request season tickets to a local theme park or amusement park.
What about recreation center or sports complex passes?
How about bowling, skating, or ice rink passes?
Books are always great gifts.
Perhaps you could suggest that your relatives take your children to pick out a child's name from an angel tree and purchase gifts to give to that child.
In any case, don't just say that your children already have too much stuff and they don't want any gifts.
Your children will likely still receive gifts from your relatives whether you tell them what your kids want or not.
I have found that requesting gift cards is not the preferred gift for family members to give. They seem to want to give actual gifts. I think it is because it is more fun to see the excitement on kids' faces when receiving gifts rather than gift cards.
So be prepared to give some suggestions if your kids already have too much stuff.
