We Owe Nature

End a few people belonging to any one race and then step back. They will repopulate, regain their numbers, and their strength. Kill enough of them and you will commit a genocide from which those people will never recover.

Now replace ‘people’ with trees, jungles, forests, and extensive flora growth of any kind. Destroy some, it grows back, replenishes itself, and continues to serve in its life-giving role. Destroy enough vegetation on Earth, however, and you’re looking at a genocide, one that will take us all with it.

Not helping Nature help us is the stupidest form of suicide.

We Are The Virus

We are learning something from this virus. It doesn’t discriminate. So why are we?
A serial-killer virus is showing no partiality toward class or colour. Why are we?

Mortal Lament

The Human form/body/design is too particular for its own good. Anywhere you poke or prod it, you can also kill it. The heart and lungs have a rib-cage but the other organs and intestines don’t. The feet are just two, making it harder to run from or toward any beast worth its salt on this planet. The human design has no reliable camouflage, no noteworthy shape-shifting or colour-changing properties, and easily falls for a whole host of maladies. It trips and falls down the stairs! It can be supremely athletic, but can tear muscles and tendons. It cannot fly, a trait that you might imagine the smartest species on the planet would’ve adopted. Humans have no outer shell that’s worth a damn. It lives up to the longstanding theory that Earth is a prison planet and that our bodies are the uniforms in which we live out our sentences. No wonder they’re all similar in design. No wonder the mouth is not on the palm and the head does not have eyes on the back of it. No wonder this part is here and not there, in places that could and should have evolved. Thousands of species out there, and we take after apes!? But then, all the most significant differences, variations, and hybridizations, seem to source from within the Human Brain. It’s what gave us an Einstein on one hand and a Jack the Ripper on the other. It’s what blessed us with mothers on one side and murderers on the other. And don't get me started on the combinations! Mind is superior to Matter. Our minds make us who we are more than these unreliable meat-suits we’re all wearing ever will.

Camouflage

Earth is in many ways a warzone. Consider for a moment the camouflage capabilities of animals and plants, birds and insects. What you don't see is what gets you... Similar to the betrayal of a loved one. Or perhaps the silent unleashing of a bio-engineered pandemic.

Food for Thought

Food is different things to different people. It is Survival to most, Fuel to many, Medicine to some, and Art to few.

All The World's A Stage

When you notice actors/actresses going to the camera after the director has yelled “Cut!” to see how the scene came out, it is maddeningly similar to one of life’s Great Mysteries. After Death, we all go to the ‘camera’ of our lives, see how we can have ‘performed’ better, and ask for a ‘re-take’, which would entail Reincarnation. If all is well, we move on to the next plane, the next lifetime, the next scene – perhaps in this same dimension or another star-system, who knows. Shakespeare was onto something when he wrote the words: ‘All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players’.

The Quandary

Two brothers were playing in the field. The younger asked the older, “In this world, only kindness should prevail. No cruelty ever.” The older boy sighed before saying, “They must co-exist, or they will both cease to be.” “That makes no sense. How?” said the little bro, squinting as he looked up at his older brother who promptly replied, “Because often in this world, you need to be cruel to be kind. There’s a reason Nature is red in tooth and claw, little brother. Without that, Nature will cease to exist. The Tiger hunts the deer so the deer don’t eat all the grass and bush-leaves, leaving the trees with no foundation in which to shoot down their roots, leading to all manner of death and destruction. Keystone predators need to be cruel in order for all Nature to maintain Life. What looks like bloody murder is, in truth, an act of kindness .”

The Bitter truth

Which part of Life is hard for you?
The part where you're desperate to understand it?
Or the moment when you have to accept it for what it is?

The Bio-Electricity Theory

Electricity was once a fantasy. Today, wires carry it safely to places where they are applied to further human goals. Our bodies could be some sort of ‘wire’, our souls could be some form of ‘electricity’. It’s probably why people pursue physical contact - to ‘link’ or ‘connect’ our ‘wires’ (Energies) into a new ‘Bio-circuit’... The more you think about this, the more ‘electrifying’ it tends to become.

Of all the Goddesses & Gods You're Willing To Serve,
You Must Not Serve One Who Demands Your Suffering More Than Your Happiness.
