Souls...
Is a living human soul the most efficient battery in existence? Alternatively, is it some kind of "quantum fuel"?
The sheer complexity of the human soul is so vast that it makes the already intricate and still-being-studied human brain seem like a collection of Lego bricks.
So, can a blend of reincarnation studies and quantum science help scientists harness and wield soul-grade batteries to power the future of humankind?
The soul is the reason we dream, the reason how we're able to wake up again in these corporeal bodies, and the reason why some people even like Math while others go braindead at the sight of a sequence of numbers.
Wait, now that I think of it, I should make this a "Strange Speculation" post and upload it on my blog.

Butterflies...
I would like to have a word with the scientist who chose the word ‘Butterfly’ when they decided the insect's nomenclature. The way its wings move, I wonder if they did not originally mean “Flutter-fly” instead, because this insect certainly flies in that fashion. I'm just going to call it that hereafter, because the current name does not quite suit this species. In fact, I will even go so far as to create new plural versions: “A library of flutter-flies” (coz their wings look like open pages or books), “A flicker of flutter-flies” (coz en masse they certainly give off a flickering effect), or “A festival of flutter-flies” (coz when seen together they do look like a dancing and frolicking mass of merrymaking insects).
That's it, they're Flutter-flies!

A Meaning Shared...
The baker wiped his hands on his apron and beckoned to his friend, the candlestick maker.
"A strange truth I heard, just the other day. Wait till you listen, you'll wonder who on earth came my way."
The baker shared the words he'd heard with the candlestick maker, and the two grinned with glee.
Exclaimed the candlestick maker, "Would you listen to that! He says, a cat may seem a Tiger, but a Tiger is more than a cat."

A Dark Tale...
A man named Greg once saw his bestie Sam answering a number with the name "Home" showing up on the display. Greg observed how animated and happy Sam became each time he picked up that call.
"So, what's this thing with 'Home', on your phone there?" Greg asked one time.
"Oh it's just my girlfriend," Sam promptly replied. "She is my home. And wherever she is, there is where my home is." And he followed that sentence with a grin so stupid that it demanded a suitable answer.
That was the last anyone ever heard of Sam. The man disappeared under mysterious circumstances. That night, Greg was in the kitchen muttering, "Gee, I wonder how their story would've turned out." He made a non-committal sound and sighed as he washed the blood off his hands.
A week later, when the girlfriend disappeared too, the police grew suspicious of Greg, who was the last-person-seen in both cases.
When they grilled him at the precinct, he spilled the beans by saying, "Sam may not have gone home, but home certainly went to him." And he followed that sentence with a laugh so raucous that rumour has it Greg was still laughing when he was thrown into a high-security mental asylum for the criminally insane.

Anyway You Like It...
Is there a line that is profoundly meaningful but can also be misunderstood and taken as an insult?
"The cheapest thing you can give anyone is your time."

To fight each other is to draw indignity.

Meaning...
When you imbue something with meaning, others can and will feel that meaning. It's how an ancient artifact can feel special. It's how a humble home décor item can appear rare. It's also how great acting can convey the right emotions even when someone sees the performance a generation later or in another language dub.

"Cop-Out" 27...
Cop 27 this year should have changed its name to "Cop-Out" 27. Looks like we are all going to have to get ready for that 1.5C Climate Change model. Thank you, leaders of the world, we the people are so proud of what you've mis-accomplished. Hopefully there's a Climate Emergency mitigation plan, yes? Oh, and...
With "Cop-Out" 27 having failed to come up with reasonable solutions to the Climate Crisis, and it having chosen to listen to the 600+ fossil fuel lobbyists who were in attendance at a summit from which they should by all rights have been banned, the question remains…
Now that 1.5C is 100% guaranteed to happen, raising global temperatures by as much, what is the mitigation framework or plan that world governments have to keep people safe in the next 30, 60, 90, and 100 years? Because...
Most of us will be either too old or dead by that time to help them rebuild or actively (physically) help enact any belated gameplan. However, children – either our own or that of our relatives – will still exist in what might have become a dystopian world filled with climate-induced dangers. Let's not forget...
Millions of people are going to be displaced thanks to global sea level rise that is 'scheduled' to swallow ¾ of my own city Chennai (South India), including my home and that of others, thus endangering my own family and that of others. Is there a protection or avoidance plan for when all this comes to pass? A plan that doesn't include being a filthy-rich elite who can buy their way to safety? You see...
Cop 27 was the biggest event from which such a plan should have come. Since it has failed the people of the world, what's the second-best source at hand? Coz there's another grave danger that only scientists, not governments, are screaming for us to hear...
Worse than rising water levels and climate-catastrophes are the ancient (millions if not billions of years old) biological microorganisms and viruses currently locked away under thousands of feet of glacial ice, the very ice that has been rapidly melting these past eighty or so years under pressure from non-green fossil-fuel-hungry human industry. Think for a second...
Unlike a more recent virus that was created in controlled lab settings, the ones inside these glaciers have the potential to bring about a swift and unprecedented global extinction event that cannot be reversed once the next Climate Change tipping point (2°C) has been reached, not even if advanced alien tech was at hand to help us do so. So...
Such is the state of our world, the effects of which millions (that's crores in Indian measure) of us will experience just 30 years from now all the way until its grand conclusion by century's end. It began with the destruction of ecosystems and the life contained within each. And now...
It has all come full circle to the destroyers being destroyed by the very environment we abused or turned a blind eye to. What next? Time will not tell. If this carousel post has revealed anything – and shockingly similar to what "Cop-Out" 27 achieved this year in November – Time has clearly voted against the human race.

When People Ask You When You're Gonna Get Married, Reply With Any Or All Of The Following...
“I will tell you at your funeral."
“Oh, do you recommend it?"
“I am planning to pursue a life of celibacy so I can get closer to the wisdom of the universe."
“How's it working out for you so far? I want a customer review before I buy."
Do you think these responses are rude and insensitive? That's how it feels when someone constantly nags you about something that has to do with your life, your body, and your future.
Good energies and good luck.

Comedians Anonymous Group Meeting
"I have a joke I'd like to share with the group."
"Go ahead," said the moderator.
"They say the work of a Phoenix is never done…"
The session went deathly silent.
The moderator stated, "This group will hereafter focus on murder-mysteries. I'd like to share a plot with the group and it goes something like this... Let's kill the corny writer."
The guy who shared the phoenix joke perished in what can best be described as one of the most ironic deaths of the year.
