Enduring Challenges, Trials and Tribulations with Joy to Arise and Triumph

Christ endured the cross focusing on the joy set before Him, realizing the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Joy precedes successful endurance (Hebrews 12:1-2). Pray I too endure successfully and overcome all challenges and trials joyfully and triumphantly, which presently are many. Yet God gives strength to the weak and grace to the weary. Christ in us is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

Delta Airlines, Access America Travel Insurance Scam and Deception - Beware Delta Frequent Flyers

Delta sells travel insurance for which they receive an affiliate profit sharing percentage on their website when you buy an airline ticket.

The travel insurance is provided for by Access America and is intentionally designed to lead the consumer to believe if anything goes wrong due to flight interruptions and/or medical emergency that you are fully covered.

Not so! When a medical emergency occurred on our plane from Rome to JFK (New York City) on October 23rd, 2009 our plane was rerouted to Newfoundland, Canada for four hours. Upon finally arriving four hours late in JFK, I missed my connection to Orlando, Florida.

I remained hopeful considering I bought the $25 travel insurance through Delta and Access America.

I incurred $225 in hotel and travel expenses as a result of having to spend the night in New York and getting a rental car in Orlando, Florida (because my wife was to pick me up on Friday October 23rd and had plans on October 24th).

I therefore had to get a rental car and paid for a hotel and takeout food in New York... all amounting to $225.

Access America however only gave me $150 ...far less than a hotel in New York City (where Delta is based and headquartered) costs per night.

Travel Insurance through Delta and Access America is deceptive and a scam if they have no intentions of fully reimbursing, they should not portray and purport such when selling you their travel insurance product.

Consumers be forwarned the travel insurance at $25 is not worth it considering it doesn't even cover you for a hotel in New York or major cities across the world, where hotels cost $200 a night and more.

Tangle, Stealing and Monetizing Videos without Sharing Profits from Ad Revenue Obained from Using Contributors Intellectual Property

It seems given the 10 commandments tell us: "Thou shalt not steal" (Exodus 20), for Tangle to truly be as Christian as they profess it is only fair that they share in their profits from their contributors videos.

YouTube doesn't put advertisements and adwords on their contributors videos (nor before their videos) without permission and paying / sharing the profits with the contributors.

If tangle is "all for the glory of Jesus" then drop the advertisements and adwords on my videos or give me and my ministry a portion of the ad revenue from my intellectual property.

Halloween, All Hallow's Eve and All Saints Day - Which do you celebrate? Protestant Reformation and the Dark Ages

October 31 is All Hallow's Eve, and, since on the following day (All Saints) most people historically went to church, posting Martin Luther's 95 theses which birthed the Protestant Reformation leading us out of the Dark Ages spiritually. The word "hallow" means - to make holy, set apart for holy use. Pagans commemorated this day for the devil and playing pranks while saints were praying for God's blessing.

Which are you? A God fearing saint praying for blessings or a pagan playing pranks bringing cursing?

Actions speak louder than words. Put your feet on the street called straight and don't play with darkness lest you be cursed by it.

Read the history of the Protestant Reformation and Martin Luther's 95 theses yourself and see!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nine...

The darkness was so dark

It was felt

The worst gross darkness

Is religious captivity

Soulish enslavery

And financial drudgery

For all bowed their knees to Rome

Until a German

A former Roman Catholic monk

Said, “No!”

And stood up to the religious hierarchy

Declaring truth boldly

In the midst of moral depravity

Such a stance

Could cost one his life

“Off with your head!”

“You cause heretical division and strife.”

For in that day

Only the pope was right

Yet Luther heard a word

That he could not shake

Saying, “The just shall live by faith!”

Therefore down with indulgences,

Penance and purgatory!

I need not go to a priest

To confess my sins.

For Jesus died on the cross

Once and for all

Mankind wins!

I can go to God myself

I can approach my Creator directly

No need for a mediator

Or one named Mary

My soul is free

No burden to carry

What Hitler did

Has come and gone

But the truths Luther established

They live on!

The truth keeps marching on

From generation to generation

The Spirit illuminating and confirming the Word

We the soldiers of the cross

Wielding the two-edged sword

The sword of the Spirit

All humanity shall hear it!

And so humanity benefits daily

From one man’s stance against heresy

Though he himself was branded a heretic,

A mad man, a drunk

Luther not only shook their religious boat

It he sunk!

And so a new gospel ship

Has been built for us

Though eternally of old

It does not whither, decay or rust

Forever saving those who believe and trust

Ever enduring is this gospel message

Availing fully for those who dare

Throwing aside every weight and care

What a joy it is in our day

When men like Luther can be found

To bring the blessings of heaven down

Yet a slow to hear society remains

Humanity’s deception and need is dire

To be moved upon and freshly inspired

With godly passion and fire!

For a new and living way has come

And with it, a new generation must arise and run!

Children and Trick or Treating: Halloween, Parenting and Protecting our Kids

Just a thought... I choose my restaurants where I eat wisely and cautiously, but parents allow their kids to fetch and eat candy door to door from absolute strangers. I don't get it. I don't think I will be so naive when I have kids ...you can't be too cautious when it comes to your children as you are their only line of defense.

Halloween for Christians? Horror, Costume Parties & Parenting

Many struggle as Christians how to deal with Halloween. Costume parties can be fun (providing you're not dressing or embracing demonology and Satanic activity.... which obviously most don't).

Kids enjoy getting candy.

Yet the pagan history of Halloween is clear. Parents should therefore protect their children from such involvement and accompany them (if they allow them at all) to get candy from strangers - seems a bit dangerous to me. (I mean I am very picky about which restaurants I eat at, but I'm going to allow my kids to get candy from strangers off the street? I don't think so.)

Nevertheless we should be understanding and love people where they are at presently, rather than alienating and judging them arrogantly.

Love never fails.

Be the light and shine in the midst of darkness showing the little ones a loving smile and tender heart on the other side of the door when they knock. Give'm some candy and a gospel tract to go home and taste and see the Lord is good. (Psalm 34:8) Kids often just see Halloween as a time to wear a fun costume so do...n't be a stuffy heartless person. Love them unconditionally. Love never fails (1Corinthians 13:8)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2-Ny0... liberation feels good, being a liberator and bringing freedom to the captives allows God's unquenchable fire to flow in and through you thereby invigorating you too!
