Old Times Stories
I know my 84 (85 in April) year old dad had it a lot tougher than my generation could even imagine, yet he is one of the happiest people I’ve ever known. I think it was tough having 5 kids to feed & cloth, but he now says those were the best years of his life & he was too dumb to know it.
It is so nice to be spending these 10 days with him here in TN.
Half of our hearts
My mom used to say “Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky in morning, sailors take warning.”
This is just one of the many sayings she got from being brought up by her grandmother. I hope to write a book about her & her sayings one day.

10 Stunning Hiking Spots in Southern California
Since I live in SoCal, this is a great article to post. I read somewhere that we have the most trails in the world.
Some Funnies on Facebook this week – Guitars, squirrels, dogs BFFS and Miles to the gallon.
Thanks, Sally!
Monday Funnies…
It’s only 12:30 in California so plenty of time left for Chris’ Monday Funnies. Some of you might find these funnier than some others of you though.
I am still looking for a venue to do a book event or an Author Event here in Greeneville, TN or neighboring Jonesborough, TN. Wish me luck!

Subconscious Mind
I know & believe this to be true. As Science of Mind says “The thought is a seed that grows into your reality.” Think good thoughts!
