Truth

Yup, these “Charlatans” want to throw you a dollar as they walk by, but never want to help you to overcome your disability. I know them well. Sad but true!

Peace, love & a hand up for all,

You Walked Away

A gorgeous photo, a lovely Poem/prose combo & a beautiful YouTube video! Thanks, Tosha! ;-)

Remember: not all romance ends well; some end rather badly!

Peace, love & a bit of romance to all,

Everything I Never Told You

You walked away. I remember the first time you walked toward me. We sat at what would become our table. You with your beer. Me, with my sweet tea. Two people sharing stories. Connected by our fondness

of music and difficult things

Afterwards, you walked me home. Maybe if I hadn’t invited you in. Maybe if you hadn’t leaned in and kissed me, we might have just stayed friends, but I had to kiss you back. That’s when things really began the undressing, tongue to flesh, a bite to the lobe, hands everywhere. A hasty love, a good idea at the time

That was before promises were broken, before you became a liar. Before I knew I’d never be able to quell

your wanderlust spirit. Before I understood you only find peace in leaving things behind

God, we were stupid. We should have just stayed friends. We sat at our…

Imagine the soulless trafficker

holding a young girl’s life in his hands.

Imagine the young girl in front of him,

eyes glazed from the heroin

he’s forced her to inject.

The unturned years stolen.

Her body’s lexicon

the clamor of sharks to blood,

the swarm of hornets.

Raped. Beaten. Used up.

Innocent debased.

He’s taken it all.

Leaving burnt trunk and a once

flourishing root decimated.

Imagine sprayed bullets,

sparkling on the

grimy warehouse floor.

Imagine the now bulging

eyes of the child, the girl

who doesn’t stop being dead.

The tragic wreckage of greed

splayed on the ground.

Let her gone dreams haunt you.

Don’t allow her to become

an apathetic byte on the news,

incapable of ruining your family’s dinner.

For a moment at least,

be conscious, not comfortable.

Allow her to bare her teeth

and demand that you see her loss.

This child, born into a world

More truth

We also must learn that NO ONE THING will bring us happiness. Happiness comes from enjoying the little things in life. Making our dreams come true is just icing on the cake. ;-)

Peace, love & reaching your dreams for all,

Hint from Hera

I don’t usually post health stuff here, but this is important. Plus I need to remind me to drink pineapple juice for all these issues!

Thanks, Druidess, for this reminder! ;-)

Peace,
