Russia and Israel Update: Are We Closer to Ezekiel's War?

Here is an interesting update concerning Russia and Israel. The Times of Israel has reported since Russia understands Mr. Biden's support for Israel is soft, Russia is increasing its military support to Syria against Israeli attacks.

Recently Russia said  Russia’s Pantsyr-S and Buk-M2 systems intercepted 7 of 8 guided missiles fired by Israeli fighter jets.

For those of you familiar with familiar with Ezekiel's War, you may be wondering if this news is evidence of its soon appear...

What Do Eric Metaxas, Asaph and Jeremiah Have in Common?

The Psalms grouped in Book 3, Psalms 73-89 are written by various believers who are living in tumultuous times. Some of them write about victory and others are puzzled by their defeat. Asaph is credited with some of these Psalms. Asaph was one of David's worship leaders mentioned as a kinsman of another worship leader, Heman, Samuel's grandson in 1Chronicles 15: 16-22.

Heman wrote Psalm 88. The last Psalm in Book 3 is Psalm 89. It is written by Ethan the Ezraite who is noted for his wisd...

CRT and Wokeness in the Church: Jesus Unites

This is addressed to those who really want to make a difference. Don't buy into a false set of principles and philosophies marketed by men (Colossians 2:8) or align yourself with idle babblings preached by false prophets (2Timothy 2:16-17) that only address the surface. If you authentically desire to speak healing to a hurting world, point it to Jesus. His message satisfies those willing to hear Him out. He's been discriminated against, wronged and killed for who He was and what He believed. But...

Update

Just wanted to let you know what's been going on around here lately. We've had some challenges with social media; we are making some changes, and we have GREAT opportunities ahead of us.

The challenge is handling all that.

Which– is the reason I've not been blogging as much as I usually do. But I am teaching more, and to teach you need to study, so I've been studying a lot more too.

All good things.

Thank you to all of you praying for us, and we have never st...

Deception: A Sign of the Times and a Reason to Praise; Really

When He was asked about the signs for the end of the age, Jesus said, "Watch out that you are not deceived." He warned against being deceived five times in Matthew 24. So, we may conclude that deception is one of the signs. I don't know about you, but as an American citizen I'm still, over a year later, stunned by the level of corruption and deceit uncovered in our government, and it just keeps coming.

Not that anyone who could stop it cares to do anything about it.

But at least ...

What About Genesis 12: Is It True?

You might not realize it, but ninety percent of Iran is made of fault lines. This makes Iran one of the countries with the most seismic activity. The World Atlas listed Iran third in its article about countries with the most earthquakes.

You also might not know that Iran is full of interesting archaeological sites for Christians. You might not because they aren't advertised as such for obvious reasons. But if you dig into the history (see what I did there?), you can find information com...

Is There Archaeological Evidence for Old and New Testament Events?

Rarely does the average person get to talk to a Bible believing archaeologist. I wanted to share this video with you because Sean McDowell is interviewing pastor, archaeologist and author, Joel Kramer.

Kramer points out what most people do not understand: biblical archaeologists are archaeologists who may or may not believe the Bible. Most do not. He also talks about the same things we talk about in our books. Mainly that biblical archaeology does not support the Bible. On the contrary, ...

Iranian Archaeology and the Bible

Iran is probably not a country most people want to visit these days. But in the 1930s we can be thankful that archaeologists from the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago did.

Here is a link to an article in the Tehran Times on some of the discoveries mentioning Darius and Xerxes. Esther in the Bible became Xerxes queen.

Are You Defeating Giants or Allowing Unbelief To Rule?

I've been listening to a song lately. It's on loop while I make meals, wash dishes and do laundry. It says I am going to see a victory. The first line says, "The weapon may be formed, but it won't prosper."

Just words you may think. It's a nice idea, but the circumstances are overwhelming. Actually that's been said before. A few times.

And those are not just words. They are Spirit and they are Life because they are God's words. They reveal His intent toward us. They are power.
