1. Experience performing audits of design output, relying on Incoming Quality Plans (IQPs), Production Tickets, Quality Standards and Final Inspection Criteria to reconcile it with design input;

2. Preparing sketches, creating and recommending design specifications and final presentation renderings using design related 2D & 3D CAD software to generate designs and supporting data, and selecting materials, developing material specification sheets, and collaborating to develop prototypes and final product;

3. Leading the development and communication of design, color, components and other material palettes, including completion of New Material Analyses and MRP requests;

4. Communicate with international manufacturing and producing partners regarding the details, materials requirements, technical requirements of the production and price negotiation;

5. Constant follow up with manufacturers on product update and sample requests;

6. Research industry trends for design inspiration and offer trend and market analysis and innovation ideas;

7. Ensure the product meets the cost from the brief and cost breakdown sheet is accurate producing “Total visibility” of cost and process with all business partners;

8. Assist in presenting the product line to buyers and planners at buy meetings

9. Align conceptual ideas into aesthetical products and user experiences;

10. Lead design intent from concept through mass production with cross functional teams including; research, marketing, product management and external vendors. Understanding and rationalizing feedback and issues from these teams as they arise.

Chris Jericho Talks Book, Career and Fear The Walking Dead!

Chris Keith Irvine, hailing from Winnipeg, Canada always had big dreams. He grew up wanting to be a rock star AND professional wrestler, two larger than life professions that would be quite the feat to master one let alone both. BUT, I know you are not blind (I actually don’t) and you most likely saw the title of this interview, so alas, Chris Irvine transformed into none other than Y2J, the ayatollah of rock and rolla, the man of 1,004 holds, the one and only CHRIS JERICHO!

Of course, Jericho got his start in professional wrestling, taking down his opponents all across the globe. From Mexico, to Germany, Japan, and all the way back to the United States Chris competed his way to the top. Chris to this day has a huge impact in the world of wrestling and still steps into the ring on occasion.

Next order of business, become a Rockstar. Following a jam-sesh invite from the rap metal band Stuck Mojo founder, Rich Ward, Chris’ band Fozzy was born. Being described as an arena rock-band soaked in blood, the band’s seventh studio album, Judas, will be released on October 13th, 2017!

You thought we were done? Jericho is also a New York Times Bestselling Author of four autobiographies. His most recent, No Is A Four Letter Word, is available now and if you want to hear more about it then click play above! We’ve Optioned the Novel GATEWAY!

We’ve optioned Frederik Pohl’s classic sci-fi novel, GATEWAY for development as a tv show! This is super exciting news and we’re very proud to be working on this new project. Check out the full press release below and check back here for more info on development soon!

SCI-FI CLASSIC NOVEL ‘GATEWAY’ BY FREDERIK POHL OPTIONED FOR TELEVSION DEVELOPMENT WITH SKYBOUND ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 27, 2017) – Mutliplatform Entertainment company Skybound Entertainment, commonly known for genre properties (The Walking Dead franchise, Outcast, Invincible), has optioned Frederik Pohl’s 1977 science fiction novel Gateway for television development. Skybound has the ability to develop the five stories that follow Gateway, which together complete the Heeche Saga, for television as well.

Skybound’s film and television team will produce the project, with Frederik Pohl IV attached as a creative consultant. Frederik Pohl IV is the co-executor of the Frederik Pohl estate alongside Dr. Elizabeth Anne Hull, the widow of Frederik Pohl. The estate is represented by Curtis Brown Ltd.

“Working on one of the seminal works of science fiction is an honor and a privilege,” said Skybound CEO David Alpert. “I have had these books on my shelf for over 30 years, so getting to work on them is a dream come true.”

Gateway follows the story of Robinette Stetley Broadhead, a poor miner traveling to an abandoned alien space station in search of a life better than the one he knows on a barren and overcrowded planet Earth. Though the prospect of returning with untold riches is significant, his chance of death is even higher. Gateway is the first of six novels that make up the Heechee Saga, named after the fictional Heeche alien race created by Pohl. Considered an influential piece of science fiction, Gateway is a Nebula and Hugo award-winning book.

“Dr. Hull and I are excited that Frederik Pohl’s Gateway has found a home at Skybound,” said Frederik Pohl IV. “Their long interest in my father’s work and their insight into it give us confidence that they are the perfect people to bring the Heechee Saga to a massive audience.”

Additional projects in Skybound’s pipeline include a remake of the 1981 fantasy/horror classic American Werewolf in London, and the adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s second-longest running comic book series, Invincible. Both titles are being developed for film at Universal. Upcoming television projects include Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics, a docu-series for AMC, and Five Year, a pre-apocalyptic story about a family living under threat of a deadly meteor headed toward Earth, which is being produced across various markets globally. Skybound also recently partnered with streaming service Amazon for a first-look television deal across all Skybound properties.
