December 2, 2015

December 2nd -- Wednesday -- to-die-for sunrise -- as usual -- it's here and gone so fast, you have to lie in wait to get the perfect snapshot.
All of you are getting it together -- I can hear the excitement in your words, the pleasure, this is very good. For those of you who aren't near enough to family, get together with friends, so shopping with friends, have lunch/dinner with friends and go to Church -- you'll meet people, there will be parties and get-togethers-- and don't forget, homeless shelters would welcome you with open arms -- You will have great distraction plus what you're doing will make you feel very good about yourself.
I'll post photos when the top level is finished -- the new tree with new ornaments (lots of stuff, really, not many ornaments) is up and beautiful -- I put up a big flocked (that means it's been doused with "fake" snow) tree and covered it with red birds of diff. sizes. Red stems and stuff are shooting out of the top like a volcano. Such fun.

Work, work, work -- the edit on Insidious is coming, just takes a long time -- then gym, along with all your guys, or focused exercise at noon, okay? If you've got physical problems, then you do what you can, but TRY to do something to get your body moving, your muscles working -- No slackers allowed in December -- it's bad for your Christmas stocking contents --

November 30, 2015

November 30 -- Monday -- incredible sunrise now gone into history. This is 2015 November's last appearance for all time. That's a shocker -- then it's on to a huge fun month.

I didn't do so hot on Football picks: 2-2, to date, 32-16 so I'm right at 500 - The Patriots lost Gronk, which means no one's left -- they played last night with cardboard and band aids -- it was very sad. I have no clue what they're going to do now --

Work today, gym, and Christmasizing the living room/dining room/kitchen -- Lesley is the incredible flower arranger -- what talent -- I'll post some pictures of some of her Christmas arrangements.

November 19, 2015

19th of November -- and isn't that amazing -- this month has been like the "amazing race" -- barely time to appreciate one day before whoosh! and it's gone. But the month has great appeal -- here comes Thanksgiving, a great day to thank the amazing Alice back in Pilgrim times
I'm finishing the second epiloque of Insidious this morning, then celebrating at the High Cholesterol Factory -- what fun --

Do you know, this is very sad: I don't know who's playing Thursday Night football? Not good, not good --
Now, if you didn't get the November newsletter, please go to my website (www.catherinecoulter.com) and sign yourself up.

Today is a thoughtful planning sort of day -- think about upcoming Thanksgiving, about how big a turkey to get, if you're doing to fry it this year since you've heard that's good, think about trying a new dressing or simply having too dressings. And how about those sweet potatoes, too icky sweet last year, so maybe -- so much to cogitate about -- isn't it fun? Are you hosting or heading out to family? Friends? The best I think is lots of friends and everyone brings something.

November 18, 2015

11-18-2015 -- Wednesday (I nearly wrote Thursday, gotta get it together, but it's so gorgeous outside and I keep snapping photos. Okay, okay, I'm focusing -- not the 16th, the 18th).

Black Friday -- I do believe I knew that once upon a time but my Ram keeps dropping stuff (without telling me) and that was one thing that's been long gone -- but so many of you knew -- and it sure does make sense. The first one to tell me was the husband of the Sublime Marty Hoffman, Frank. Do you think Black still applies?

Finishing INSIDIOUS today -- the denouement went like wild fire yesterday -- so I'll finish it off today, then, of course, there's the tying all together in the Epilogue -- All is good

Nov. 17, 2015

Tuesday, bright sun, calm, trees rustling just a little bit, whispering come out and play, come out and play -- but alas, I'm disciplined and sometimes that's a real bummer -- I'm still on the final denouement -- It's got to be exciting -- think, think, think -

That old saying -- on any given Sunday (or Monday night) any team can beat any other team -- The Bengals couldn't catch a ball, couldn't get their defense together, all that talent, but it didn't matter -- the Texans were revved, the universe was on their side and made the defense brilliant and Yates did a very good job -- amazing -- So now we've only got the Panthers and the Patriots undefeated -- who do you think's going to fall next?

November 12, 2015

Thursday, 12th of November -- It's finally cold here in Sausalito -- well, I guess it's only "nippy" to those of you in Colorado or Minnesota -- and it always warms up, sun and clear and, all right, I'll shut up. Who's been to St. Lucia? If yes, tell me about it, give me recommendations on restaurants, shopping, sightseeing --

I forgot: I'm an idiot, smack me aside the head -- Happy Veteran's Day! A huge thank you to all of you out there protecting us. You are amazing -- your sacrifices, your bravery, your "being there" to keep us safe, against horrible enemies who want to wipe us off the face of the earth. So, thank you, thank you --
Brady wins the best QB at present -- with Peyton a close second.

Most of you loved Spectre. Some believe Daniel Craig will do another two movies, some say he wants more money, and I actually read his quote about never wanting to do another one. Did he say that to up the asking price for his participation? Goodness, I hope not, but who knows? Post me Richard Armitage, please -- a possible new Bond candidate.

November 11, 2015

Nov. 11, 2015

Lovely Wednesday, midweek, and I'm wondering why Daniel Craig is so adamant about not playing James Bond again in this lifetime, something about rather having the skin peeled off his face than doing it again? (Well, not that, but something equally drastic -- does anyone know exactly what he said?). And that begs the question, given the ending of the movie. So what's going to happen? Other than wanting to take Daniel Craig to a nice mountain hideaway, what did you guys think of Spectre?

Yes, okay, finally, I got it -- Seahawks/Cardinals next Sunday night Best QB of all time -- I think Joe Montana (known as Bird Legs here) is the big winner. Can't argue with that. Now, let's come up to the present: who's the very best QB right now?

November 11, 2015

Tuesday, the 10th of November -- Oophs, the Bears/Chargers last night -- and the Bears pulled it out, actually, they played the Chargers off the field -- You told me Cardinals and Seahawks are next Monday night -- okay. Question: Who do you think is the best QB of all time?

Work and stuff, and that's how I like to think of it -- stuff covers a multitude of well, stuff, business, running around, buying more Christmas bags, fingernails polished, toes pumiced, and yes, there are guys in there getting not only pumiced, but massaged, trimmed, the whole nine yards, but never have I seen a guy's nails with bright red polish, so I'm guessing there are limits, even in the San Francisco environs.

November 6, 2015

Friday, the 6th of November -- Yes, yes, I know, yet again, the week ends and why, I ask you? Well, as I understand it, it's a matter of rotation and Schrodinger's Cat and a dollop of magic, all combining to keep shoving forward toward the all-time favorite day, namely, Friday. Insidious -- I finished the first denouement yesterday and will edit it today -- nearly 50 pages, too much, too much, way over the top -- as I told you, the characters refuse to shut up. But they're pretty cool, so hey, we'll see.

As you can see, the internet decided to work this morning -- but not at all yesterday -- so keep your digits crossed.
