Darian has decided to nap beside the computer. I'd put a pillow and plush blanket there for her, imagining beautiful hours of me writing and her napping. I'd pet her, she'd pur, the purring would inspire me, I'd write more. In my head, it was quite nice.

In reality, the cat has ignored the pillow and plopped down on the mouse pad and half the keyboard. Sometimes, when she shifts, she even turns the monitor off.

write-a-thon

I've challenged cassandra_gold to write 10k this month. It'll be a good warm up for next month, where we're going to do the 20k thing again. I'm feeling pretty jazzed. The writing is going okay, but nothing's done and I'd love to get a couple WIPs out the door this month.
