reading, writing, and hogging the mouse pad

Darian has decided to nap beside the computer. I'd put a pillow and plush blanket there for her, imagining beautiful hours of me writing and her napping. I'd pet her, she'd pur, the purring would inspire me, I'd write more. In my head, it was quite nice.

In reality, the cat has ignored the pillow and plopped down on the mouse pad and half the keyboard. Sometimes, when she shifts, she even turns the monitor off.
