What's your fav?

A not-sneak peak

Kitty toes

Since we got started talking about claw covers for cats yesterday, Max agreed to pose.  This isn't the best shot of his toes.  The front paw to the back has purple caps on and you can see how they are not so noticable unless they flex their claws.  The front paw has a blue one on it still, from the last round of color, that still hasn't fallen off.  That claw is flexed so you can see the upper clear part of the cover and the actual claw.  I think that's his last blue one then he'll be all pur...

Because some might think HER VAMPIRE HUSBAND is coming out in November, I've made a Save The Date card.  This info was printed in the back of MOON KISSED because it was too late to take that out before it went to press.  Also, some internet sites still list it under November.  But yes, we all have another five month wait before it's out.  I promise it will be worth the wait.  ;-)

So today is the last big day of the VampBash (before we announce winners tomorrow) and man, has that been a lot of work.  I think I started to unravel yesterday when I started making mistakes in the posts, so I'm glad it's coming to an end.  Just one week a year is more than enough for me.  I think I need an assistant for the next VampBash.  ;-)

So it's raining here AGAIN today.  I have some serious early cabin-fever this year.  Just haven't gotten near enough sunshine in my system.  It's dark...

If you are new to my writing, you may not realize I wrote and published five historicals with Zebra.  I love those books, and I have the rights back to all of them.  I've recently been thinking I should do something with them, get them back out there so readers can find them.  That would mean digitally publishing them, perhaps offering them through Amazon, or some other means.

The ultimate food

Cooking dumplings and roast today for the daughter's b-day.  Whenever I start making dumplings it always signals the coming of winter.  For those who haven't had dumplings (not the little things in soup) they are the most perfect food.  Truly, my favorite, and probably very close to something holy.  I learned how to make them from my grandma, and was fortunate enough to get the grandma-approval from her (and on my gravy; go me!).
