I love to cook. But my knife skills aren't the best. I'm great with the Big Dice but when it comes to Fine Dice -- look out and keep the phone handy, because we may be calling 9-1-1.  I've tried contraptions over the years. I wanted to share a Yahoo Widget that's been extremely useful for me this year and I could no longer live without.  For anyone who doesn't know, widgets are little applications you can download to your computer and display on your desktop.  There are loads of them for all kinds of applications but my fav is the Month Calendar widget.

I use it to list all my writing-related deadlines, guest blogs, newsletter deadlines etc...

My Favorite Things

This is going to be a fun week!  I love doing the My Favorite Things feature every November.  Like Oprah, it's a list of things I've fallen in love with this year, found to be must-haves, and just want others to know about.  Unlike Oprah, alas, I cannot give you all one of each.  Sigh...  I will miss the marvelous Ms. O.  I haz a sad.  :-(

Fav Things starts Sunday

Every year in November I do a My Favorite Things feature for a week.  Think Oprah and her fav things show. I love that show.  I get such a thrill learning about what people like and then seeing everyone go crazy because she gives away stuff.  So this year I thought I'd do it a little differently.  Starting Sunday and going all week, I'll again feature My Favorite Things, but not only mine, but many other authors who decided to play along.  It's going to be awesome!

Series stuff

So the series title stays for my angels/demons Nocturne series that will begin next summer.  OF ANGELS AND DEMONS.  I like it.  It says it all.  And I have all three titles finalized too: ANGEL SLAYER (6/10), FALLEN (2/11), ASHES OF ANGELS (6/11).  The Bites, "Halo Hunter" is part of the series as well and will be out 6/10.   I have a Bites scheduled for December release, and am not sure if it will be set in this world or not.  Editorial thought it would be nice to keep the series going betwe...

Today I'm blogging at Riding about the Boyfriend Shirt.  You know, girls, that shirt you steal from your man as a form of claiming him.

I'm working on 'paper' edits for FALLEN right now.  That means I've printed the story up and am wielding the red pen.  It reads very differently for me on paper, so this is a very necessary draft.  I'm hoping to add another 10K words as well.  All this, and it's due December 1st!

I worked out my schedule with my editor yesterday.  I will be very busy until end...
