Are you exhausted with parenting?

Then you are probably HELICOPTER PARENTING

Helicopter parenting is where you are constantly instructing, controlling and monitoring your child’s life so that he/she succeeds.

At the end of the day – you are tired and your child is irritated

Just switch to PANDA PARENTING

It makes your child successful without stress

Step 1 – Trust that your child wants to do the right things.

If you are getting irritated with all the things your child is doing – you need to start parenting with neuroscience

Step 2 – Respect your child

Don’t force them to eat. Don’t force them to do the things you want them to do.

If you are struggling with that – start parenting with neuroscience

Step 3 – Give your child Independence

Give them the freedom to decide what they want to play and how

If you are worried that freedom will cause indiscipline – start parenting with neuroscience

Step 4 – Collaboration

Get on your child’s team and help them reach their goals

If you doubt your child’s goals – start parenting with neuroscience

Step 5 – Be kind

When your child makes a mistake or fails – don’t blame and shame. Be kind and forgive.

If you find you are shouting and hitting – start parenting with neuroscience

Parenting is easy – when you start parenting with neuroscience

If your child is between 0 to 7 years – and you want to start parenting with neuroscience – type PB and send me a DM.

I will share the details of my PARENTING with NEUROSCIENCE course

Do not make your child OBEY YOU

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Dr Debmita Dutta - Parenting Expert (@debmitadutta)

Do not make your child OBEY YOU
It will destroy your child’s THINKING BRAIN

Make your child LISTEN to you while building their brain by doing these 4 things

1. Convince your child
Explain why you are asking them to do what you are saying
Argue your point until they are convinced.
This will build COMMUNICATION SKILLS

2. Debate
Let your child explain their point of view
Listen to their perspective as they try to convince you.
This will build CRITICAL THINKING

3. Let them make some Decisions
When your child has to decide - they will think carefully
When you force your child to do something – they will rebel
This will build CONFIDENCE

4. If your child makes a good point - Give in –
Don’t insist on being obeyed just because you are the parent
Give-in gracefully
This teaches them COOPERATION

These are skills that will help your child to become a LEADER
If you teach your child obedience – your child will only become a FOLLOWER.

Type LEADER and share this now so that no one forces your child to obey.

Your child is not MISBEHAVING because they are BAD

They are misbehaving because you are not practicing AGE ALIGNED PARENTING

Do you want to start with Age Aligned Parenting?
Use my NEUROSCIENCE BASED AAAA formula

FROM BIRTH TO 1 YEAR - your child needs the 1st A - ATTACHMENT
• Hold your baby skin-to-skin as much as possible
• Carry your baby in your lap as much as possible
This will minimize CRYING

FROM 1 TO 3 YEARS – your child needs the 2ND A – ATTENTION
• Make eye contact and smile whenever you can
• Follow your baby around
• Play with your baby
This will minimize TANTRUMS

From 4 to 7 Years – your child needs the 3rd A – AFFECTION
• Give your child lots of hugs and kisses
• Say “I love you”
• Be gentle, kind and loving when they don’t listen or can’t learn
This will minimize their ANGER

From 8 to 18 years – your child needs the 4th A – ACCEPTANCE
• Do not compare or criticize
• Look for your child’s strengths and appreciate them
This will minimize their MOBILE USE

Help your child to be GOOD by changing your parenting as your child grows.

Type GOOD and share this now – so that those who call your child BAD - understand and change themselves.

5 TRICKS to make your baby LOVE VEGETABLES

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Dr Debmita Dutta - Parenting Expert (@debmitadutta)

5 TRICKS to make your baby LOVE VEGETABLES

1. Eat lots of vegetables when BREASTFEEDING

The taste of food that you eat during breastfeeding is flavours your breastmilk
Your baby loves your breastmilk and will fall in love with food that they tasted through breastmilk

2. Start with SWEET VEGETABLES like carrots and peas

Babies are supposed to dislike foods that have a pungent or bitter taste.
Most poisonous foods taste bitter or pungent and so disliking these tastes ensures that they do not accidentally eat something poisonous.
Sweet foods are rich in calories and since babies need a lot of calories – their brain tells them to like sweet vegetables.

3. Offer small servings of vegetables every day

Allow them to get familiar with the taste

4. Offer vegetables at snack time instead of meals

Babies are very hungry at meal times and need food that fills them up quickly and gives them lots of instant energy to play.
They get impatient with vegetables that are primarily fibre and water. Because they take too long to eat and give barely any energy.
It is better to serve vegetables as snacks when they are not so hungry

5. Offer vegetables as finger foods

Babies love anything that they can pick up and put in their mouth
Offer vegetables as sticks that they can chew on. This will make them love vegetables.
Be careful to avoid choking.

Does your baby love vegetables?
Let me know in comments.

If your child does not say SORRY

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Dr Debmita Dutta - Parenting Expert (@debmitadutta)

If your child does not say SORRY

They are not STUBBORN

They just need you to use the neuroscience based 3R formula.

Use it and stop people from criticizing your child

The 3R formula

1.The first R is RESPECTFUL

Be RESPECTFUL when you explain their mistake
Do not shout and scold
If you shout – your child feels like you are attacking them
That makes you the villain
They become the victim.
Since victims don’t say sorry.
So your child does not say sorry
They just start blaming you for shouting
Speak softly and respectfully to your child.
When they are calm and safe – they will see their mistake and find a way to fix it

2. The 2nd R is REPAIR

Allow REPAIR
As soon as your child says sorry - immediately forgive and forget
If your child thinks you will remember the mistake and keep poking them about it later
Why will they say sorry?

3. The third R is RELATIONSHIP

Build your RELATIONSHIP with your child
When you make a mistake say sorry
If you say sorry – you get back sorry.

Type 3R and do this now

Transform your child and stop people from criticizing them and calling them STUBBORN and ARROGANT.

This is parenting with neuroscience

It can change the way people talk about you and your child
