The behaviours shared in these slides are also a sign of low self-esteem

You must work on building your self-esteem urgently because without high self-esteem - even the most talented and capable child will remain a failure.

This is the time to build your child’s immunity

This is the time to build your child’s immunity

The season is changing and infections are in the air

Save your child from sickness due to season change by using my 5S formula to build immunity

The 1st S is SLEEP
Ensure that your child gets at least 10 hours of sleep every night

The 2nd S is STRESS
Reduce your child’s stress by understanding them so that you can support them and don’t keep scolding them

The 3rd S is SUNLIGHT
Make sure your child plays outdoors in the sunshine for at least one hour every day

The 4th S is SOIL
Let your child play in the mud. Avoid indoor play zones

The 5th S is SUGAR
Avoid added sugar. Prefer fruits for the sweet taste
.
Type 5S
And share this now

So that your child’s friend’s parents see it and also start using the 5S formula

If your child’s friends catch fewer infections – your child will be less sick too

Are you a Helicopter Parent?

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Dr Debmita Dutta - Parenting Expert (@debmitadutta)

Are you a Helicopter Parent?
1. Are you constantly focused on ensuring that your child is the best at everything?
2. Do you insist that your child follows all your instructions?
3. Are you always trying to make your child perfect?
Then you are a helicopter parent

You may be thrilled with the results that you get with your child when they are in pre-primary and primary school.
Because your involvement will get your child A+ and 10/10
But when your child goes to high school – you may find their marks dipping because –

1. Your child has ANXIETY
They are worried that if they do badly you will be unhappy
Their anxiety makes them make silly mistakes

2. Your child is not used to THINKING
They have always been following your instructions without asking questions
Not thinking makes them lose marks in tricky questions

3. Your child wants to be PERFECT
They are used to an adult level of perfection
Aiming for perfection leads to them focusing on a few chapters in a few subjects. They miss out on finishing their syllabus before the exam.

If you want your child to ace exams in high school and beyond –
1. Don’t do everything for your child – let them learn by doing – this teaches problem solving
2. Encourage them to ask questions and challenge the rules – this teaches critical thinking
3. Allow them to make mistakes so that they can learn from them – this builds resilience

Remember the goal of parenting is not to get your child the first prize.
The goal of parenting is to build an AMAZING BRAIN

Do you want to build an amazing brain for your child?
Start Parenting with Neuroscience
Type PB if you want details of my Parenting with Neuroscience course for the parents of 0- to 7-year-olds.
Share this so that those who say you are not doing enough for your child see this and realize that you are doing the right thing
