Another God-Damn Post About Millennials #generations #crazyoldlady
“The current generation will be the death of us all!” – said of every generation by the previous generation.
I keep reading article after article bitching about millennials. That is, the generation born after mine (Gen X). I’ve concluded, after much consideration, that every article I’ve read is wrong. It’s not millennials that are the problem. It’s just people.
Employers have had the same problems with employees since the dawn of time. Some people are hard workers – others are not. Having b...
Day 2 – Bathin Invocation + Divination #domagick
March 2, 2017
So early this morning (8:30 is early for me), I went into the temple first thing (after feeding the cats) and did my invocation to Bathin. Then I pulled a tarot card asking for direction. I pulled The Hierophant, which tells me I’m going in the right direction. The Hierophant, in its spiritual aspect, suggests the need for regular practice or contemplation on the matter at hand. And a great deal of introspection.
I am wondering if creating an amulet to remind me of my purpose i...
Day 1 – #domagick
So yes, I am posting a day late for March 1, 2017, but I did do the work. Just didn’t find time to write it up yesterday. Not enough spoons you know? But you’ll see why in a minute.
I started the work with a basic sigil launching meditation just to throw my intention out into the world. I started with Ashtaroth, visualized her sigil blazing yellow and orange until it envoloped me. Then I launched it outward into the world. I moved to Bathin after about ten minutes and did the same thing. All...

New Release: Lake of Fire #demonolatry #magick
Jump into the Abyss and learn to communicate and path work with the Daemonic Divine through ascension practice.
In Lake of Fire: A Daemonolater’s Guide to Ascension, Daemonolatress S. Connolly discusses the practice of ascension in theory and technique. Included are ascension formulas, meditations, astral work, dream work, and fear facing rituals meant to help the practitioner traverse their own lake of fire, and stare into the abyss. Also included is commentary on the practice of ascension,...

Things Are About to Get Cryptic #domagick
I caught myself red-handed. There I was saying to myself, “I have just as good a chance as any! I’m successful! ”
And then crippling self-sabotage rolled in and scoffed at me. “Ha! You think you’re good enough? Do you actually think this is something for you? You’re a complete fucking fraud and you suck, my friend. Don’t delude yourself. You’ll see that when the results come in. I guarantee it.”
So there I was, deer in the headlights at a crossroad. I had to decide if I was going to run back...

Guest Post: Veronica Smith #horror #reading #WiHM8
How would you describe yourself if you were “speed dating” your readers? I’m kind of quiet, I don’t post much myself on Facebook or Twitter but I share other posts. I’m a bit of a loner.
What’s something fans would find fascinating about you? I sleep inWonder Woman pajama pants. That’s kind of my thing that everyone laughs about. My sleep pants are always the most hideous ugly thing. When these wear out I’ll try to find something even uglier.
What is your favorite thing abou...

Serial: Home is Where the Haunt Is [Part 2] (A Haunted Cottage Mystery)
Home is Where the Haunt Is – Part Two by Audrey Brice
“I’m not crazy,” Ken said. Despite the fact that he felt maybe he was, he wasn’t telling Alex that.
Alex was quick to answer. “I didn’t say you were. I just think maybe you staying up there by yourself isn’t such a good idea. If you want, I can come up on Friday and stay the weekend…”
“Only if you bring a camera, some voice recorders, and a digital thermometer.” Ken had considered this carefully before calling Alex. Now, only two hours aft...

Guest Post: Secret Confession: I’m Not a Woman in Horror #WiHM8
“Why did you pretend to be a man?”
The question, posed after the release of my Gothic novel Verland: The Transformation https://www.amazon.com/Verland-Transformation-BE-Scully/dp/1460907000 , thrilled me. After all, I’d gone to the trouble of choosing a cryptic social media “author” picture; I pretzel-twisted my bio and write-ups to avoid the Great “Her-She-Ms.-Ma-am” Pronoun giveaway; I’d written a pretty muscular novel. Okay, a transgender novel with some muscle, perhaps.
It’s not that I di...

The Art of Weapons #WiHM8
A. F. Stewart is an author of speculative fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, horror). Her published books include Horror Haiku and Other Poems, the Killers and Demons series, and Ruined City.
Ah, what to say about weapons. Such a splendiferous array of choices to use to end the life of a hapless character from poisons to guns to chainsaws, and on and on. To date I have shot, poisoned, stabbed, cursed, ripped off heads, cut out hearts, staked, sucked out souls, disemboweled, strangled, blown up, and ro...
