Day 19: Merging #domagick
This morning’s ritual was a little different. Today I invoked both Ashtaroth and Bathin and drew them both through me in a meditation that brought the light from both of their sigils into me. Day 28: Blah, blah, blah, Holy Hell Fuck, blah #domagick
Today began with the invocation of Bathin. Of course I woke up late due to a massive sinus headache. I got it to calm down for a few hours and listened to a two hour ebook for mistakes, then sent corrections off to the narrator. Then I spent a few hours working on the indie publishing guide for occult authors that I’m putting together. Day 27: Bathin -Inspiration #domagick
Bathin has been surprisingly inspiring during my work with him. There are three more days to the #domagick challenge and I’ll almost be sad to stop working with both Bathin and Astaroth.
It was the same routine today as it was yesterday. I did my invocation then went about my day carrying his sigil. Again – no exercise or chakra balancing today, but I’m hoping to get back to that tomorrow.

Day 25: The Momentum Burns #domagick
Producing this much material — it’s liberating. I feel like I’m washing out my brain. I love it when I’m in the middle of a story and it’s just flowing out of me like water from a faucet. The downside to producing so much in such a short time is, of course, burn out. That’s the danger right there. These huge highs of productivty can crash into crippling depression, or worse, periods of inactivty. The stalemate. It’s the thing all creatives fear. Day 24: Word Wrangling #domagick
I waited to do my invocation to Bathin until early this afternoon, after having written almost 3000 words, and found myself flooded with revelations about the book I’m working on. This was a good thing because it provided direction on which book is coming next. I thought it was Order of Eurynome, but it appears it’s actually Ba’al Collective. So there’s that. I am seeing more clearly what The Watch is actually about, and it’s not where I started. This is a good thing.

Day 23: Lack of Persistence #domagick
Today Bathin told me that my own lack of persistance was standing in the way of my good fortune and success. You know how I often talk about how Daemons can be archaic or vague when answering questions? Yeah – well that wasn’t the case. He was pretty blunt about it. If he had been a person it would have sounded like, “You are your own problem. You stand in your own way because you haven’t been persistent.”
To which I probably would have said (and did think), “But I work hard and I produce!”...

Day 22: Say Gnomes! #domagick
Now that I’ve likened a shower with poor water pressure to a circle of gnomes pissing on someone’s head, I can’t stop thinking, “Say gnomes! Say gnomes!”
Today was a productive, but boring day. When I got home I was so friggin’ tired that I again fell asleep watching the news, only to wake up three hours later and think, fuck – I have shit to do! So I got up and did my chakra balancing meditation before feeding the cats, doing some chores, and ordering my groceries.

Today was just a really bizarre day. It challenged my endurance, and yet I got a great deal done. It also made me evaluate some of my priorities and challenged my own perceptions of my career. I have been doing some “secret” work slated to be released in a book coming in early 2018, and today I finally sat down and got the supplies I need to give the project the polish it needs. Readers want pretty, polished magick in pictures. Not the raw, crudely cut out cardboard magick that happens with experimentation.
