New Release: Taming Trish! #bdsm #erotica #eroticfiction #sexy

Taming Trish by Anne O’Connell

Master Hildolf has had his share of challenging submissives, but none of them as disarming as Trish, a pragmatic psychology undergrad he met at a coffee shop. Friends Eric and Brad bet Master Hildolf that training Trish in time for Mistress Antoinette’s High Protocol Ball is impossible. He disagrees and takes the bet. But Hildolf isn’t prepared for what Trish puts him through, or how he feels about her. Will he be able to tame Trish in time? Or will she fail her...

The Year End Update #writinglife #amwriting #amediting

It’s that time of year again – where I let my readers know where I’m at and how ambitious I’m feeling for the next year. If you’ve been following for some time you know that my ambition is always bigger than there are days in the year, and hours in those days. What can I say? When I dream, I dream big.

So let’s take a look at what I have going on for each pen-name, where I’m at in the schedule, and all that happy stuff, shall we?

On the Anne O’Connell front – Taming Trish (Book 4 in the Gilde...

Man Behind the Mask Giveaway! #horror #giveaway

man-behind-the-maskThe ‘80s brought us the horror genre’s golden period: the best films, directors, cheesiness, soundtracks, and the sexiest scream queens. We especially held the women of those films close to our hearts. Still do.

Featuring all-female contributors, stories in The Man Behind the Mask anthology include ‘80s-style clichés: masked killers, peepers, perverts, toolbox killers, killer clowns, window-watchers, sister-touchers, geeks, cheerleaders, big-breasted women, men with big knives (to compensate...

For Writers: How to Keep Reading While Writing

::Yes, two reading posts one after the other. I’ve really been focused on reading this year.::

At twenty-three, fresh out of college and trying to make a go of my writing career, I was burnt out on reading. After all, when you’re an English major, despite the creative writing emphasis, you tend to take a lot of literature classes. I read tens of thousands of pages those four-and-a-half years I spent in college. Those thick books, printed on thin paper in tiny print cost almost $100 each at th...

Slacking on Reading

Haha! Not really. I’ve just been reading stuff that’s yet to be published. But last night I got back into the swing of things andfinished two books I’ve been slowly meandering through for almost a month now. That makes 51 books this year, counting the ones that I’ve worked on for the publishing house, and have been released. They count, right?

Learning to Juggle Pen Names

Being a writer is tough enough with one pen-name. Juggling four of them can be quite the challenge. I started out the year with a carefully planned schedule meant to give each pen-name equal time for the year. But that all fell apart when that schedule was derailed. Now, on the verge of completing Taming Trish, I am looking at what I’ve completed this year, and what has fallen to the wayside and I’m thinking to myself that no matter what I’ve scheduled, four pen names are difficult to keep up...

The Daemonolater’s Guide to: Spirit Keeping, Daemonic Possession, and Daemonic Prayer

That’s right! It’s time for more Daemonolater’s Guides. The Daemonolater’s Guide series is mostly unplanned and random, and whatever comes into my inbox with frequency will usually have a guide written about it. That way when the question comes up again (as it usually does), I can point someone to The Guide and save myself the repetitive task of having the same conversation over and over.

The project has not only cleared out my inbox, but it’s also done a great job of educating people about t...
