SPINAL TAP II: THE END CONTINUES FILM AND ALBUM OUT SEPTEMBER 12 WITH APPEARANCES BY PAUL MCCARTNEY, GARTH BROOKS, TRISHA YEARWOOD

PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM HERE

July 31, 2025 – Fictitious heavy metal legends Spinal Tap team up with music icon Elton John for an epic re-recording of the band’s classic cut “Stonehenge,” released today via Interscope Records. A music video for the song, featuring footage from the film, is also out today – watch the clip HERE

The soul-stirring single will appear on The End Continues, the forthcoming album for the mockumentary Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, out September 12 to coincide with the film’s theatrical release. The 13-track set includes nine brand new songs and four reinvented favorites featuring additional guests Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood. Pre-order The End Continues HERE and find the tracklist below.

A new trailer for the movie, featuring a musical clip of “Stonehenge” premiered last week at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2025 after Rob Reiner and Paul Feig’s panel “Directors On Directing.” Watch the trailer HERE.

Destined to become an instant cult classic, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues picks up 41 years after the release of 1984’s groundbreaking This Is Spinal Tap, when now estranged bandmates David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel, and Derek Smalls (Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer) are forced to reunite for one final concert. Documentarian Marty Di Bergi (Rob Reiner) returns as well, to try to capture his favorite metal gods as they contemplate mortality. Joined by music royalty like McCartney and John, Spinal Tap wrestle with their checkered past to put on a concert that they hope will solidify their place in the pantheon of rock ’n’ roll.

“Stonehenge” looms large in Tap lore thanks to a prop gaffe captured in the first movie, where the band ordered an 18-foot high version of the monument but instead received an 18-inch one. They’ve performed the song many times since, with rocks of various sizes, and Tufnel even appeared on NatGeo’s 2008 Stonehenge: Decoded special to share his theories about the mysterious megaliths. For the new recording of the song, John brings his most arena-sized vocals to the mix, lording over shredding guitar, swirling synths, pounding drums, shrill pan pipes, and a full-band medieval jam session. Tufnel still holds down the eerie spoken parts.

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues will open in theaters and IMAX® nationwide on September 12, following a recent limited theatrical re-release of This Is Spinal Tap newly restored in 4K resolution. The original film — directed by Reiner and written/improvised/performed by McKean, Guest, and Shearer — released to critical acclaim and went on to become a cult classic that has directly inspired actual metal bands like Metallica, spawned the “turn it up to 11” idiom, and been referenced in pop culture ever since. In 2002, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry.

Meanwhile, Tap have played on, reuniting for various tours, charity gigs, festivals, and TV appearances (including SNL and The Simpsons); collaborating with the likes of John Mayer, Cher, Slash, Adam “MCA” Yauch, and members of Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, and Metallica; and releasing three albums: 1984’s This Is Spinal Tap, 1992’s Break Like the Wind, and 2009’s Back from the Dead, which was nominated for a Best Comedy Album GRAMMY® Award (all three charted on the Billboard 200).

Alternative pop artist Myah announces debut LP + shares "glitter" with cinematic video out now

ALTERNATIVE/INDIE POP ARTIST

MYAH

ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM

I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M FEELING

DUE OUT AUGUST 29

& SHARES SHIMMERING LOVE SONG

"GLITTER"

WITH CINEMATIC BONNIE & CLYDE-INSPIRED VIDEO

Today, Los Angeles-based alt/indie pop singer-songwriter and filmmaker myah announces her debut album i don't know what i'm feeling due out August 29. With the announcement, the artist shares glistening track "glitter" out now with its cinematic official music video, inspired by Bonnie & Clyde.

The forthcoming punchy LP is a confessional, bittersweet reflection on the highs and lows of love and self-discovery. Through 17 tracks, the musician captures falling in and out of love–the butterflies, joy, turbulence, heartache, anger and everything in between–as she comes to terms with love not always being the fairytale it appears to be. Myah shares, "It touches on the crisis you experience as you start to get older and realize that romance and love aren’t what you’ve been told your whole life. It’s toxic and devastating and confusing; it can feel like you’re on top of the world one day and then like your whole world is falling apart the next."

A cohesive body of work, each song seamlessly flows together to weave a true, heartfelt story of love and loss and navigating through one's twenties. Myah continues,"Every song is intertwined from start to finish and it’s meant to be listened to in order. It’s designed so that when people finish the album, they’re left wondering where I am now, and the truth is, I don’t know either. Because, well..i don’t know what i’m feeling."

Often donning glitter, myah has become known to leave a shimmery trail. "Glitter" is a pure love song with a glossy melody. Myah explains, "It was inspired by someone telling me they found my glitter in their apartment and thought of me. That really stuck with me, the idea of glitter as my calling card. It’s about those small, physical traces that stay behind when you’re in love."

Its matching music video unfolds like a movie–inspired by Bonnie & Clyde, 1950s and Scooby Doo–complete with a cliffhanger ending and comedic moments. Myah says, "I like curating experiences versus a singular aesthetic. My last music video, 'dodging bullets,' was a medieval epic, whereas glitter has more comedy and is a bit softer. It's not what you would expect after releasing something so gory, and that's the point. I don't want anyone to be able to guess what world I'm going to transport them to next."

Watch "glitter" (Official Video)

myah is both a musician and an accomplished music video producer who has worked with a long list of illustrious artists including The Marias, Kehlani, Tinashe, Steve Aoki, Oliver Tree and more. Raised in South Florida, myah's sound blends alternative rock, pop, and pop-punk melodies with midwest emo inspired guitar riffs and pulls inspiration from a range of artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foxing and Modest Mouse. Earlier this year, her fan-favorite music video for "the lobby" won a Telly Award and garnered over 160K views.

Now, stepping in front of the camera, myah is ready to introduce herself as she tells her story on her own terms with her first official studio album. Through a soft pop, lush soundscape, myah immerses listeners in a dreamlike, romantic world soaked in nostalgia, honesty and self-awareness to share her experiences, explore the difficulties of pursuing art, and express herself, as well as offer a place of comfort and understanding for her growing fan base.

Myah's empowering debut album i don't know what i'm feeling is due out August 29. The latest taste of the project, "glitter," is out now. Don't miss more from the rising musician and filmmaker–connect via InstagramYouTube and TikTok.

ANNOUNCING FIRST HEADLINE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

SURROUNDING UPCOMING PERFORMANCE AT SHAKY KNEES

AND TWO SOLD-OUT NIGHTS IN NYC — SEE ALL DATES HERE

“Revitalising the distinct ’80s basslines and sharp guitar riffs of The Smiths and Joy Division, Melbourne’s Radio Free Alice have staked their claim as a rising force…they’ve displayed their strength in transforming nostalgic, gritty post-punk sounds into something much more

sleek and concise."

“Why the f*ck would you come to one of their shows? You come for the precise post-punk riffs. You come for the endless energy and enthusiastic lyrics. You stay to watch one of Australia’s most exciting guitar bands in years up close.”

Today, Australian new wave/post-punk band Radio Free Alice announce their new EP Empty Words, available everywhere on August 20, 2025. The second preview of their third EP arrives today in the form of “Toyota Camry,” a single lashed with bright guitars and 80s-inspired backing vocals, globally premiered on BBC 6 Music last night. The song’s official music video accompanies the release, directed by the band’s creative partner Finn Robilliard.

This news arrives in tandem with the announcement of the band’s first headline North American tour surrounding an upcoming performance at Shaky Knees in Atlanta, GA, this September and two sold out headline shows in NYC (the first selling out in 24 hours). Earlier this week, Radio Free Alice knocked their debut UK headline tour out of the park with six sold out headline shows in London and a newly announced slot at Reading and Leeds Festival.

Vocalist Noah Learmonth shared that “Toyota Camry” was inspired by a line from author Mark Fisher that he always found incredibly accurate: “everyone is bored but nothing is boring.”

“We recorded it with Peter Katis (Interpol, Bloc Party, Frightened Rabbit) in Connecticut in a house that resembled the one in ‘Monster House’, a horror movie for kids about a haunted house I watched growing up,” Learmonth continues. “Around the house were scattered Polaroids of other bands Peter had recorded albums with, legendary bands, like Interpol. Constantly stumbling across these fading Polaroids in the cutlery draw or whatever in the old wooden house felt weirdly fitting for the song — the song’s about lost futures, haunted by the past.”

The upcoming EP’s title-track was released in March after being recorded during downtime between shows in London. It was  produced by Ewan Pearson (M83, Stella Donnelly, Depeche Mode). Empty Words features two unreleased songs “Regret” produced by Ali Chant (Dry Cleaning, Perfume Genius, Soccer Mommy) and “Chinese Restaurant” both recorded in Bristol, UK, this year and together form a bold step in Radio Free Alice’s wildly consistent output.

Off the back of their 2nd EP Polyester (2024) - which has hit over 2.5 million streams across its four tracks on Spotify alone since its release in August with support and acclaim from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music (New Music Fix), triple j, FBi Radio, Triple R, Clash, the cover of DORK (UK), Complex, Pigeons & Planes, NME, Rolling Stone, The Line Of Best Fit and many, many others — Radio Free Alice toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, joined the The Killers on tour across Australia, and co-headlined a national run with Big Special. Throughout it all, plus the acclaim on their singles “2010” and “Johnny,” the highest kudos might have come from The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s leader Anton Newcombe, who told the band they were “not shit” after accidentally catching one of their headline shows on Gadigal Land in Sydney.

Formed in Gadigal Land/Sydney in 2020 before making the move to Naarm/Melbourne, Radio Free Alice — Noah Learmonth (he/him; vocals, guitar), Jules Paradiso (he/him; guitar), Michael Phillips (he/him; bass, saxophone), and Lochie Dowd (he/him; drums) — continue to make their mark with their wildly consistent output and vital live performances. Their debut self-titled EP (2023) was nominated for Best Independent Punk Album or EP at the AIR Awards and quickly followed up with Polyester (2024). They’ve played countless festivals across Australia and Europe, with their US debut at SXSW earlier this year, and additional touring with Royel Otis and Sorry.

IT'S NEVER OVER, JEFF BUCKLEY | Rare Solo Performance at The Middle East to Screen Immediately After the Film, Only in Theaters

IT’S NEVER OVER, JEFF BUCKLEY - 26 MINUTES OF REMASTERED, PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED FOOTAGE FROM A RARE SOLO PERFORMANCE WILL SCREEN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE FILM ONLY IN THEATERS FOR AN EXTREMELY LIMITED TIME

Magnolia Pictures will release IT'S NEVER OVER, JEFF BUCKLEY in theaters on August 8th, 2025

NEW YORK, NY (July 30, 2025) - Very few were fortunate enough to witness Jeff Buckley live, but those who did often described it as transcendent, jaw-dropping, and emotionally shattering. As part of the theatrical release of IT’S NEVER OVER, JEFF BUCKLEY, Magnolia Pictures will proudly present 26 minutes of exclusive, remastered footage from a rare solo performance at The Middle East in Cambridge, MA, filmed on February 19, 1994, six months before the release of Grace. This previously unreleased material will screen immediately following the film and will only be available when the film hits theaters on August 8th, for an extremely limited time, offering both longtime fans and newcomers alike a rare opportunity to experience Jeff Buckley’s raw, unfiltered brilliance.

“Discovering this footage felt like a dream,” said the film’s Oscar-nominated director, Amy Berg. “I was instantly transported into that room, witnessing a barely discovered virtuosic talent alongside just a handful of others. I was left speechless—and more than a few tears were shed. It’s an absolute pleasure to share this newly mastered footage and give audiences the chance to experience it on the big screen.”

IT’S NEVER OVER: JEFF BUCKLEY covers the life of the rising young star with an otherworldly voice and boundary-pushing artistry, who left the '90s music world reeling when he died suddenly, at age 30, after the release of his critically acclaimed debut album “Grace.” Told through never-before-seen footage from Buckley’s archives and intimate accounts from his mother Mary Guibert, former partners Rebecca Moore and Joan Wasser, Jeff’s former bandmates, including Michael Tighe and Matt Johnson, and luminaries like Ben Harper and Aimee Mann, IT’S NEVER OVER, JEFF BUCKLEY illuminates one of modern music’s most influential and enigmatic figures.

Buckley launched his career at a tribute to his late father, folk musician Tim Buckley, but quickly became a rising star himself and signed to Columbia Records. His only studio album, “Grace,” was released to astounding reviews and challenged conventional ideas of genre and gender. His intimate and influential cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” further catapulted him to fame. Still, under pressure to produce his second album, he retreated to Memphis to escape the spotlight and the ever-growing glare of the public eye. In a tragic accident, Buckley drowned in the Wolf River in Memphis in 1997, leaving behind an unfinished second album and a legion of devastated family, friends and fans. Over the decades since his passing, Buckley’s legend has continued to grow, and a whole new generation of fans has begun to discover his music through all-new channels, including social media. Berg’s evocative and sensitive portrait of Buckley makes space for both existing fans and newcomers alike, lifting up and celebrating his timeless body of work.

A Topic Studios and Fremantle Film, IT’S NEVER OVER: JEFF BUCKLEY is directed by Amy Berg, and produced by Ryan Heller (A REAL PAIN), Christine Connor (NUCLEAR FAMILY), Mandy Chang (THE MONA LISA CURSE), Matthew Roozen (A MOUTHFUL OF AIR), Jennie Bedusa (THE SPACE WITHIN) and Amy Berg. Executive producers are Mary Guibert, Alison Raykovich, Brian A. Kates, Michael Bloom, Jennifer Westin, Maria Zuckerman, Brad Pitt, Ian Stratford.

East Coast indie rock duo Joyer, the project of brothers Nick and Shane Sullivan, are excited to announce their new album, On The Other End of the Line…, out October 24, 2025, via beloved tastemaker label Julia’s War Recordings. On The Other End of the Line… was recorded at Palisade Studios in Chicago and produced by Slow Pulp’s Henry Stoehr. “Cure” is the first preview of the upcoming LP, which name drops the record’s title across twinkling and twangy guitars, expressing curiosity and compassion for the tiny moments that bind the world together.

“This song is about loneliness and searching for connection in any and every place. I wrote this one from the perspective of a made-up character, but it definitely has some personal feelings mixed in,” Shane Sullivan explains. “I was thinking a lot about how a small or seemingly inconsequential interaction with a stranger at a bar or a customer service worker over the phone can be meaningful or fulfilling.”

An official music video for “Cure” accompanies the track’s release, which immerses its viewer in a hazy, yellow-tinted New York City. The nostalgia-invoking video features the band performing on a rooftop among scenic shots of the city, pigeons, laundry and various everyday sights. Similarly to the track, the video shines light on the small moments in someone’s life and how impactful those moments can be.

Joyer is a longstanding, cult favorite of the East Coast DIY scene. Since their inception in the late 2010s, Nick and Shane have become known for touring with bands like Horse Jumper of Love, Wishy, and villagerrr while releasing consistently bigger and louder indie rock records like 2024’s widely acclaimed Night Songs. With On The Other End of the Line…, they strip things back to take things to the next level and create songs bursting with melody and emotion in the process.

Joyer will hit the road this winter, supporting Teethe with villagerrr across the Midwest. For more information, see below and follow Joyer on Instagram at @joyerband.

(July 30, 2025) - Following the announcement of their debut album no scope, which will arrive on September 26th via Ghostly International, crushed share the new offering from the project with “cwtch.” The new single is swirling with synths and emotional lyrics vocalized by Shaun Durkan with harmonies from vocalist Bre Morell. “cwtch” is the second taste of no scope following the duo’s lead single “starburn,” which arrived with a video directed by Luke Orlando and was highlighted by The New York Times, Stereogum, Alternative Press, Pitchfork and more. crushed also recently stopped by The Lot Radio for a guest DJ session.

Speaking about the new single, Durkan shares, “‘Cwtch’ is a Welsh word meaning an embrace with a sense of offering warmth and safety, a safe place. I wrote the song during a period where I was really struggling to ‘live life on life’s terms.’ A time when learning new ways of coping with difficult feelings felt like an enormous challenge, and returning to self destruction sounded like returning home."

This September and October, crushed will join Cafuné on their North American tour for a run of 19 shows with performances in Washington, D.C., Montreal, Chicago, Denver, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, Brooklyn, and more. Tickets are available HERE

Recording out of various homes, not fixed to any single location (Morell from Texas, now based in Los Angeles, and Durkan in Portland, Oregon), crushed write the songs they want to hear, tuning from shared taste for trip-hop, Britpop, electronica, and the canon of '90s alt radio, a desire for emotionality, and an instinct for when it sounds right and honest; when it means something real to them. no scope embodies Morell and Durkan’s trust in one another and in their craft. A "no scope" kill in the video game lexicon is achieved by shooting a sniper rifle at close range without scoping in on your target, an apt metaphor for two artists following their pop impulses, shooting from the hip with precision. On the triumphant no scope, crushed take life's best shots with their strongest work, wielding melodic, open-hearted hooks through a maze of breakbeats and spliced sound design with unprecedented immediacy and clarity. Next level, unlocked.

no scope follows extra life, the 2023 EP and debut collaboration between Morell, who also fronts the band Temple of Angels (Run For Cover Records), and Durkan, who has produced for others (Topographies, Young Prisms) following the 2010s run of his former band Weekend (Slumberland Records). Their first batch of songs together saw a groundswell of support, finding early fans in Pitchfork, NPR, and Ghostly International, who signed the band and gave extra life a wider physical release in 2024. extra life is home to the tracks “waterlily,” which received a remix from Real Lies, and “milksugar,” which received a remix from DJ Python last year. crushed capped the year with their first-ever shows in the UK, and tested new material and live arrangements in early 2025 as the album was finalized.

Written throughout the slow-simmering breakout, no scope finds the band driven to refocus, refine, and level up, to deliver on extra life's promise. Morell and Durkan started songs remotely, then alternated sessions between their living spaces and co-producer/mixer Jorge Elbrecht's house, a first for them after exclusively self-producing. Elbrecht brought his accomplished ear for melody and structure (credits include Japanese Breakfast, Hatchie, and Weyes Blood), helping them narrow down dozens of demos. More a culmination than a debut, no scope feels refreshingly unguarded and fine-tuned, a modern work from two artists coursing the crosshairs of life in real-time.
