“I could try and weave together a blanket of colorful words to describe Girl Tones and how talented they are but I’m just gonna say Girl Tones is f***** dope, dude.”

“Sister duo Girl Tones know how to throw — and trash — a party.”

“...the duo’s allure is only multiplying with each release.”

The name on everyone’s tongue, Girl Tones today releases their latest new single “Got It.” Grinding, harsh and positively filthy, the song sees sisters Kenzie and Laila confidently taunting anyone who dares to stand in their paths. Released via Parallel Vision and Big Loud Rock, Girl Tones continue to cement themselves as what’s next in rock music — Stream.
On today’s single, Kenzie shared, “‘Got It’ is a very charged song for me. It was born out of anger and defiance. Ultimately it is about holding your ground in the face of uncertainty, and taking that leap of faith to fulfill your dreams.”

Shot frame by frame and completely hand-crafted by artist Chloe Tyler, the “Got It” stop-motion video is essentially a demented arts and crafts project. Drawing from the duo’s primary color aesthetic and leaning into the look of classic I Spy books and gaming tables, there are meticulous lyrical Easter eggs throughout. Deceivingly cutesy, much like Girl Tones, each replay of the video reveals dozens of new elements to latch onto — Watch.

Currently underway, Girl Tones are out on the road supporting Silversun Pickups. Along the way, they will make their summer festival debut at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Austin City Limits and more, before joining Cage The Elephant for more shows together. Earlier this year, Girl Tones also spent time on the road with The Velveteers and hey, nothing. See all upcoming dates here and below.
Internationally, Girl Tones has signed with Matt Bates, the CEO of Primary Talent International, for representation outside of North America.

The Year Of The Radical Romantics is a document of the juicy, throbbing missives used to woo crowds from Sydney to Seattle on the globe-trotting There’s No Place I’d Rather Be Tour in support of 2023’s lauded Radical Romantics . The new album consists of live-to-tape studio versions of tracks from Radical Romantics in addition to highlights from 2017’s Plunge and massive new iterations of early classics performed by the musicians who accompanied Dreijer on tour — Minna Koivisto on keyboards; Romarna Campbell on drums; Maryam Nikandish and Helena Gutarra on keytars and vocals.Radical Romantics’ riotous, world-building videos introduced an unforgettable cast of characters. Accompanying Fever Ray (aka the white-suited Casanova) are wannabe-womanizer Romance, clockwatcher Main, witchy Snusis, and axe-wielding bombshell Demona Lisa. The Year of Radical Romantics offers a culmination of these character’s arcs with a pair of videos directed by longtime longtime Fever Ray creative visionary Martin Falck. The visuals find the misfits navigating group therapy sessions led by therapist Ebba. These sessions are soundtracked by blistering versions of fan favourites from Fever Ray’s beloved self-titled 2009 debut album: “I’m Not Done (Therapy Session” and “Now’s the Only Time I Know (Therapy Session).”
A vinyl edition and a The Year Of The Radical Romantics publication is available to pre-order. The publication, designed and edited by Fever Ray and Falck, dives deeper into the creative process behind the making of the Radical Romantics universe. The publication showcases initial sketches and the trials and errors that shaped the characters seen on stage, in photographs, and music videos. It also features press photography, cover shoots, editorials, and exclusive behind-the-scenes imagery captured by Fever Ray, the live band, and photographer Nina Andersson.
Falck says of the publication: “Creating the characters for the Radical Romantics era has been a true labor of love. Bringing them to life, watching them experience love, heartbreak, death, and even getting fired, has been an absolute joy. Working on this publication has given us a chance to reflect on our own creative process, and we’re so excited to share it with you.”

“A jolt of energy for the group, and a return to the soul-pop sound that has defined some of their most well-loved hits” Billboard
“Fitz and The Tantrums take fans on a funky lunar voyage” Rolling Stone
Los Angeles, CA (June 25, 2025) – Multi-platinum band Fitz and The Tantrums have released their eagerly anticipated sixth studio album Man On The Moon. The 14-track collection is available beginning today via Atlantic Records. Listen HERE. Alongside the album’s release, Fitz and The Tantrums have unveiled an official visualizer for “Young Days,” comprised of footage of the band preparing for album release and their summer headline tour. Watch it on their official YouTube channel HERE.
“I decided I was simply going to write for my heart and for my soul and nobody else,” shares frontman Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick. “At this point in our career, myself and the band feel we have complete creative license. Because, c’mon, nobody knows what the rules are anymore. So I’m not going to chase some vapor in the wind. I’m going to just do what I want.”
“We’ve never wanted to be stuck in a box. We refused to do that,” adds co-lead vocalist Noelle Scaggs. “With this project, we’re daring to be different.”
Fitz and The Tantrums made their triumphant return to late night television earlier this week to perform the album’s lead single “Man On The Moon” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Watch the unforgettable performance HERE.
The group will be celebrating the release of Man On The Moon all summer long on a 31-city headline tour that kicked off last night in San Diego, CA. The Man On The Moon Tour will visit major markets across North America, before wrapping on August 31 in Austin, TX. Aloe Blacc and Neal Francis will appear as special guests on select dates. Ax and the Hatchetman, SNACKTIME, and Gable Price and Friends will provide support. A complete list of upcoming live dates and ticket information can be found HERE.
Fitz and the Tantrums set the stage for Man On The Moon with the surprise release of swaggering track “Ruin The Night” in March. The band formally announced the album in May in an exclusive interview with Billboard, and unveiled the LP’s infectious lead single “Man On The Moon”. The song’s official animated visualizer, brought to life by Kidmograph, is available to watch HERE. The group gave fans a final preview of new music with the release of “OK OK OK” last month. Man On The Moon’s early releases arrived to widespread praise from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Tonight, Flood Magazine, and Grammy.com, who spotlighted the LP as a “must-hear album”.
Man On The Moon follows Fitz and The Tantrums’ 2022 studio album Let Yourself Free. Since their inception, the quintet have delivered hit after hit, including the 4x-Platinum “HandClap,” 3x-Platinum “Out of My League,” Platinum-certified “The Walker,” and Gold-certified “Moneygrabber.” With a fresh new album and a headline tour that’s already lighting up stages across North America, Fitz and The Tantrums are making this summer one to remember.

HOWARD JONES’ “DREAM INTO ACTION” (FARMYARD SESSIONS)
DUE OUT AUGUST 22nd VIA CHERRY RED RECORDS
GLOBAL “DREAM INTO ACTION” 40th ANNIVERSARY TOUR
KICKS OFF IN SEPTEMBER IN UNITED STATES
(New York, NY) – In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of new wave icon Howard Jones’ best-selling album, DREAM INTO ACTION, Cherry Red Records is set to release a limited edition orange-colored double vinyl on August 22nd. Dubbed “Farmyard Sessions,” the 20 track double LP contains 16 tracks that were previously only available on the bonus CD of 2018’s sold-out DREAM INTO ACTION Superdeluxe box set. These tracks were recorded at Farmyard Studios in the UK and have not been made available since 2018. An additional four tracks include special mixes and versions. The artwork contains previously unseen images from the original DREAM INTO ACTION photo shoot with Simon Fowler. Please see below for the double vinyl track listing. Please click here to pre-order; please click here for product images.
Howard Jones’ groundbreaking 1985 album, DREAM INTO ACTION, peaked at #2 in the UK charts and cracked the US Top 10. It went on to spawn global hit singles, “Things Can Only Get Better” (which experienced a resurgence after being featured on an episode of Netflix’s Stranger Things) and “No One is to Blame” as well as “Life in One Day” and “Like to Get to Know You Well”.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of DREAM INTO ACTION, Howard Jones will soon embark on a global tour. The tour kicks off in the United States in September and will feature support from alternative pop favorites, Haircut 100 with SiriusXM First Wave DJ Richard Blade opening the show with his world-renowned DJ set (line-up for the United States only). The United States tour dates kick off at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Tuesday, September 2nd. Please see below for the global itinerary to date.
1985 was also the year Jones performed at Live Aid, Wembley Stadium, alongside such legendary acts as David Bowie, Paul McCartney, and Phil Collins. Earlier that same year in February, Jones performed live, keytar in hand, at the Grammy Awards from L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium with Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock and Thomas Dolby as part of the “Synthesizer Showdown,” performing a medley of their hits.
Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. He first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English songwriting and pioneering synthesizers with “New Song”. His first two albums HUMAN’S LIB and DREAM INTO ACTION were worldwide hits. HUMAN’S LIB reached #1 in 1984 in the UK and featured the hits “New Song,” and “What Is Love?” In 1985, Jones released the follow-up, DREAM INTO ACTION, which quickly became a Top Ten Platinum album in the United States and featured the smashes: “Things Can Only Get Better,” “Life In One Day,” “No One Is To Blame,” and “Like To Get To Know You Well.”
Howard Jones has sold upwards of 10 million albums worldwide and continues to make new music and tour the world. Jones has performed on NBC’s top-rated morning and nighttime shows respectively, Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His ubiquitous hits can be heard in such high-profile television series and films such as “Stranger Things,” “Breaking Bad,” “Watchmen,” “The Carrie Diaries”, “Superstore” and “Bumblebee”. Howard Jones’ most recent studio album is DIALOGUE, which was released in September, 2022. DIALOGUE is the third album in a trilogy of electronic releases from Jones with multi-media project ENGAGE coming out in 2015 and studio album TRANSFORM out in 2019. DIALOGUE garnered serious coverage in outlets such as Spin, Stereogum and more.

Today Post Animal release their amazing new album IRON – the first album made with original band member Djo / Joe Keery in 7+ years. When Post Animal began recording IRON, it was the first time all six original members were in the studio together for nearly a decade. In 2017, Joe Keery left the band to focus on acting as Stranger Things began to take off, and has since made music under the moniker Djo. Three band members also relocated away from Chicago, while they all explored other projects and toured with other friends. But in 2024, the six musicians started right back up at the beginning, rediscovering that uncompromising closeness of connection they all shared. The product of a few straight weeks together in the middle of the woods in Indiana, IRON not only finds Post Animal reunited with Keery, but is the embodiment of their renewed and ironclad connection.
With each band member bringing in song ideas, and taking turns on lead vocals, IRON was written and produced by the five members of Post Animal and Keery. It was engineered by Dalton Allison & Charles Glanders, and mixed by DJO co-producer Adam Thein & Allison. “This record felt like a revitalization of our friendships and our band,” Hirshland says. “We always work collaboratively, but it’s amazing how reintroducing Joe into the mix brought back that dynamic from 2017.”

SCALP’s ‘Not Worth of Human Compassion’ LP out now
SCALP's Not Worthy of Human Compassion is out July 25
Stream album focus track “SHACKLEROT”
"caustic" - BrooklynVegan
"...the grind album you have been searching for. Scalp are on another level." - HMHQ
"an absolute scorcher" - Consequence

Coining the phrase “WEST COAST DEATH VIOLENCE” as a tagline for your band is as intimidating as it is ballsy, considering the long list of heavy music gods that have influenced legions. But SCALP stands tall, channeling predecessors like Nails, The Endless Blockade, Iron Lung, HM-2 leaning death metal, the work of the Burdette brothers (specifically Deathreat and His Hero is Gone), Craft and Dead in the Dirt, reducing them to a molten plasma that swallows or leaves everything engulfed in flames. In an era where hardcore has abandoned rules but is still a patchwork of pastiche, SCALP is blazing trails and redefining extremity.
With Not Worthy of Human Compassion, out today on Closed Casket Activities, SCALP return to the catchy, vein-bulging nihilism that marked their debut Domestic Extremity, adding in the technicality found on the follow-up Black Tar. The result is a flag-flown high and an amalgamation of the maximal elements of heavy music– a full-on siege by way of death metal, grind, d-beat and powerviolence seen through the blood-soaked and grimy lens of negative hardcore. Musicality aside, a book called The Lucifer Effect cast a long shadow on the record. Written by Philip Zimbardo, the tome details the infamous Stanford Prison Experiment, examining the human factors that could make anyone susceptible to paths into shadow. Nothing is more terrifying than an evil genius, and Not Worthy of Human Compassion is as maniacal as it is learned, calculating and precise as a cut from a scalpel.
Listen / share focus track "SHACKLEROT"

SCALP began in the most organic of ways in 2018– after forming a Halloween band for fun, the internal chemistry led to a new death metal-oriented project. And just like anything worth a shit, it took on a life of its own, leading to the debut LP Domestic Extremity recorded by none other than Taylor Young. Drawing on personal experience in addition to the darkness of the pandemic era, the record was a success in a time when the live show wasn’t an option– when the pandemic took hold of our lives and left the world plenty to be pissed off about. The band’s follow up, Black Tar, found the band pushing towards uncharted badlands, developing their sound further and toying with the limitations of genre. So far, SCALP has taken those monolithic recordings to crowds at Sound and Fury Festival, at gigs supporting Nails, Weekend Nachos and The Body, and their own headlining dates.
Featuring thirteen new tracks clocking in under twenty minutes, SCALP’s grip tightens around the neck until the knuckles go white, emblematic of classic tension and release. Not Worthy of Human Compassion, the band’s third LP, is out today on Closed Casket Activities.

KIM PETRAS RELEASES NEW SINGLE “FREAK IT”
KIM PETRAS
RELEASES NEW SINGLE “FREAK IT”
LISTEN TO “FREAK IT” HERE

July 25, 2025 – New York – Primed to electrify clubs and set dancefloors ablaze this Summer, GRAMMY® Award-winning pop powerhouse Kim Petras unleashes a brand-new single entitled “Freak It” out now, listen HERE . “Freak It”is co-produced by Kim Petras, Nightfeelings, Margo XS, Frost Children and written by Kim Petras, Nick Weiss, Madison Love, Margo Wildman, Angel Prost and Lulu Prost.
Kim Petras adds, “‘Freak It’ was supposed to be the last track on the album and that was that. Then I started playing it live and the fans went insane. At some point, I just had to give in. I wrote and produced it with my friends, which made it even more fun to finally put out. I miss the chaos and joy of artists like LMFAO and Avicii, and honestly, I just want to lose my mind at clubs this summer listening to this song. The fans yelling at me to release it basically did me a favor. God was definitely in the studio that day.”
The fan excitement for the single has built into a fever pitch after Kim has teased the single on the road, with help from Frost Children jumping into surprise performances in Boston and San Francisco. Inspired by Euro club culture, the frenetic synths power up the soundscape as the bass thumps with no shortage of energy. The lyrics protest “Freak the whole arrondissement,” demanding you to “Freak It” from the “penthouse floor to the basement.”
It continues a scorching summer for the star by following up “Polo.” Upon release the hyperpop banger earned critical acclaim with plugs from Grammy.com and more. Billboard touted it on “Queer Jams of the Week,” going on to proclaim, “Everyone please welcome back Experimental Kim Petras !” and Rolling Stone touted it on “All The Songs You Need To Know This Week.”
This Summer, Kim took over PRIDE festivals across the country, performing new music for the first time and exciting fans from West Hollywood to Boston in addition to World Pride Music Festival this year. Continuing to make her mark in the fashion world, Kim mingled with biggest celebrity names in the world at the Balenciaga couture show, and DJ’ed the official Balenciaga after party with recent collaborator Margo XS. She also made an iconic appearance opening the Ottolinger show at Berlin Fashion Week.
About Kim Petras:
Kim Petras finds and shares her own kind of solace through pop music. Long before emerging as a history-making GRAMMY® Award-winning global sensation and elite songwriter, she grew up in rural Germany. Isolated, lonely, and misunderstood, she found refuge and connection in pop, studying and obsessing over goddesses a la Madonna, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, and Gwen Stefani. By immersing herself in the music and intently tuning into the lyrics, she even learned English from watching Britney Spears. The world initially got to know Kim in 2017. Launching a quiet grind, she vaulted to the forefront of pop music and culture on her own terms. She shattered all expectations and reached superstar status when she joined forced with Sam Smith on “Unholy.” It toppled the Billboard Hot 100 at #1, went 2x-Platinum in the United States, and even garnered a GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” She captivated with a procession of acclaimed projects such as Clarity, Slut Pop, Feed The Beast, Slut Pop Miami, and fan favorite TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. Speaking to her impact, she graced the covers of Sports Illustrated’s coveted Swimsuit Issue, Cosmopolitan, OUT Magazine, WWD, and more. Emerging as a style icon, she made headlines every time she appeared at an event like the Met Gala or CFDAs. Piling up billions of streams, selling out tours, and resonating with a devout global audience, she has quietly become one of her generation’s most impactful stars. Now, she ignites what promises to be her biggest, brightest, and boldest era yet with “Polo” and her upcoming third studio album for Republic Records.

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES ON SALE NOW!

July 25, 2025 – On New Addiction, rock siblings The Haunt - aka Anastasia Grace Haunt [vocals] and Maxamillion “Max” Haunt [vocals, guitar, production] - don’t just play heavy, they embody it in all its forms. Produced by Kevin Thrasher (Escape the Fate) and Josh Diaz, with mixing by Joel Wanasek (Sleep Theory, Ice Nine Kills), the band’s debut album is drenched in a death-defying blend of industrial, metal, and alternative rock, and explores depression, dead-end relationships, anxiety, and the toils of the modern world. The heavy topics are showcased in the album’s released singles “Own Me,” “Going Under,” “Bad Omen,” “Teeth,” “New Addiction,” and “Masochistic Lovers” (featuring Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate), the latter of which is currently shooting up the Active Rock charts at #29. Listen to New Addiction HERE.
The Haunt is rounding out a jam-packed year of festival appearances at Download and Rock For People, and sold-out shows in the U.S., U.K., and Europe, with a handful of headline tour dates starting July 25th and wrapping December 21st. Along the way, catch the band’s energetic live shows at Louder Than Life and WRIF RIFF FEST. Be the first to hear the new music off New Addiction live by purchasing tickets HERE.
The Florida-based duo has, naturally, been musically linked since birth, eventually forming the band AnastasiaMax in 2015 over a shared love of hard rock, garage rock, and blues-hewn influences like Amy Winehouse and The White Stripes. With Anastasia only 12 years old, they played clubs across their home state of Florida and soon toured the world alongside acts like Palaye Royale – eventually adopting a name that more closely mirrored the vulnerability, rage, darkness, and sinister mystery of their sound. Accolades came quickly, with Kerrang! heralding The Haunt for their “gothic edge, flashes of punk vibrancy and riot grrrl attitude,” and Rock Sound dubbing them a “Breakout Artist,” while their prolific musical output has helped their singles and EPs garner more than 40 million streams. With the release of New Addiction, The Haunt’s continues to build on their fearless evolution, steadily building a global cult following with their intense live shows and genre-defiant sound.

“The hardest part of the music industry at all levels is getting people to care about your music, and Roan has given audiences reasons to care – whether it’s the music, the over-the-top aesthetic, or the inspiring backstory of a woman from Missouri coming to terms with her identity.” - BILLBOARD
Following a breakout year punctuated with a GRAMMY win for Best New Artist, “Pink Pony Club” hitting #1 at Pop Radio on the 5th anniversary of its release and queer country anthem “The Giver” debuting at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, global pop phenomenon Chappell Roan has announced a new string of U.S. live dates this fall with multiple all ages shows in New York, Los Angeles and Kansas City, Missouri.
The newly announced pop-up shows include a four-night takeover at Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, NY on September 20th, 21st, 23rd, and 24th, crossing the midwest with a two-night stay in Kansas City at the Museum and Memorial Park on October 3rd and 4th; and wrapping with two nights at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on October 10th and 11th. Full list of dates below.
Roan shares,
“I am sooo excited to bring Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things to New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles!!! I love these three cities so much and wanted the chance to do something special for them this year.
Since I started performing, I have always wanted my shows to be a party that everyone is invited to, and the only way to do that is to keep ticket prices affordable and away from scalpers. The Fair AXS ticketing process for these shows is one measure we are taking to ensure tickets end up in the hands of fans who actually want to be there.
With these shows we’re also giving $1 per ticket to organizations that provide resources and support for trans youth <3 It is so important that I give back to the Trans community as they have given me so much throughout my entire career. “
Ticket registration opens on Thursday, July 24th at 12:00pm EST / 11:00am CT / 9:00am PT through Fair AXS. Fans must register by Sunday, July 27th at 11:59pm EST / 10:59pm CST / 8:59pm PST for the chance to purchase tickets. The announcement follows the release of Roan’s hotly anticipated 2025 single “The Giver”, a country-inspired anthem that marked a bold sonic shift and cemented her reputation as one of pop’s most fearless genre experimenters. First performed at her Saturday Night Live debut performance, the track arrived with a hotline teaser, national billboard campaign, and limited-edition vinyl series showcasing Roan in various over-the-top service roles – from plumber to private investigator - and landed NPR’s #1 spot ranking the best performances from the 50th anniversary season.
The character of Chappell Roan, in all her fabulous glory, truly began to take shape with 2020’s “Pink Pony Club,” a song about a small town girl who finds belonging at a West Hollywood go-go bar that was inspired by Chappell’s real-life experiences in LA. A critical smash, Roan’s debut album The Rise And Fall of a Midwest Princess (Amusement / Island Records) established Roan as a breakthrough singer, songwriter and performer who could combine fantasy with self-reflection, with songs like “Casual”, “Red Wine Supernova”, “HOT TO GO”, “My Kink Is Karma”, “Naked In Manhattan” and “Kaleidoscope”. Her highly conceptual theatrics and costumes for both live shows and performances on SNL, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and the 2024 MTV VMAs set the internet alight. A larger-than-life performer inspired by drag and burlesque, Chappell Roan has a reputation for making every show into a dance party that everyone wants to join.
This new run of shows marks Roan’s first headline dates since her record-breaking 2024 festival season, where she drew some of the largest crowds at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Gov Ball and more. She recently headlined Primavera in Barcelona and is set to headline Reading & Leeds Festivals and Edinburgh Summer Sessions, along with appearances at Øya Festival, Way Out West, Pukkelpop and more. Her Midwest Princess Tour, which spanned North America and Europe from September 2023 to October 2024, earned widespread critical acclaim for its theatrical visuals, queer celebration, and sold-out venues.
