Today, Wisp finally unveils her debut album, If Not Winter, a labor of love for the shoegaze genre, as fast as that may be, made by one of its biggest fans and burgeoning stars. Along with the album we get an official video for "Black Swan," Watch "Black swan" here and listen to If Not Winter here.
Wisp is living her highest fantasy, sat at the table with her idols (by the end of September she'll have played on the same stages as both Slowdive and Deftones, two of her biggest inspirations), so it's appropriate that If Not Winter heightens its diaristic lyrics with elements of medieval fantasy. At its core, it's a quest, throughout which she picks up magic talismans or holy grails from villages she can now call home. Ethereal yet extremely close to the heart, it's a triumph of brave exploration and experimental cartography. Wisp has already shared album tracks "Breathe onto me," with a lustful, distorted drone, "Save me now," her grungiest track to date which caught the eye of NPR; "Sword," an expansive overture to the record; and "Get back to me," perhaps the sunniest, sun-splitting-through-the-clouds moment on the record. If Not Winter is sheathed in armor that mirrors the heavier tones Wisp brings onto this record, while still maintaining the delicacy of flowy white lace underneath that her whispered vocals imply.
Inspired by a thriving community of artistic friends, mentors, and collaborators, If Not Winter finds Wisp synthesizing disparate sonic universes into a singular and evocative aesthetic. Incorporating the melodic sophistication of pop's most versatile songwriters, folk's narrative poetry, and the hierarchy-smashing communal ideals of hardcore, If Not Winter is a landmark release from one of 2025's most vital young rock artists.
Of the album, Wisp says, "If Not Winter is a look into my diary entries and all of my childhood dreams. Evoking feelings of limerence, nostalgia, infatuation to the highest levels — it's a vulnerable reflection of my most inner thoughts and memories I wanted to eternize, to look back on, and for everyone else to relate and find meaning in."
"Black swan" and the accompanying video play with light and dark, and the feeling of the unknown. Since Wisp became Wisp not too long ago, she's struggled with the idea of being perceived by so many other people as such, which takes her simultaneously away from and closer to her true self. The public light is blinding, but the eyes adjust, it's clear that staying true to one's self is the only path forward.
Watch the official video for "Black swan" here.
Having just made her debut appearances at Coachella and Bonnaroo (one of the lucky few to get to perform this year), Wisp also recently announced extensive headlining tour dates. These are in addition to previously announced shows supporting System of a Down, KORN, Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold. Find full tour dates here and listed below.
Inspired by the likes of Whirr and Slowdive, Wisp has crafted a distinct and sophisticated sound that strives to realize the expansive possibilities of rock music. Pigeons & Planes rightfully predicted that “it is only a matter of time before Wisp becomes Gen-Z’s go-to ethereal fix,” while Notion declared that she is “bringing shoegaze back with a vengeance.”
Wisp has graced the global cover of Apple Music's New Music Daily playlist, reached ~500 million streams across all platforms, was named an artist to watch by NYLON, Pigeons & Planes, Spotify Lorem Artist To Watch, Amazon Breakthrough Artists, Consequence Artist of the Month, and YouTube Music Artist On The Rise Trending, She's been featured in print in The New York Times and the LA Times, graced the cover of Alt Press's recent Winter edition, and has been featured across the web in Rolling Stone, Stereogum, PAPER, Brooklyn Vegan, and many more.
Her debut single, "Your face," hit #10 on the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs: a telling indicator of her immediacy and powerful melodic instincts. "Your face" now sits at over 110M streams on Spotify alone, she has amassed over 250M total cross-platform streams and has reached a quarter of a million followers on Instagram.
In May of 2024, she played her live debut in Los Angeles to two sold-out crowds of die-hard fans wearing homemade merch. Just three months later, she played her first major festivals at Lollapalooza, Levitation, Camp Flog Gnaw, and Corona Capital. She's even headlined her own sold-out shows on three different continents: North America, Europe, and Asia.

PRE-ORDER / SAVE: https://frostchildren.ffm.to/sister
(July 30, 2025) - Sibling duo Frost Children share the new single “WHAT IS FOREVER FOR,” which marks the third offering from their forthcoming album SISTER due September 12th via True Panther / Dirty Hit. “WHAT IS FOREVER FOR” premiered on BBC Radio 1 on Jack Saunders’ New Music Show and arrives with a music video directed by Frost Children’s own Angel Prost starring Angelina Hoffman. The latest single follows “Falling,” which arrived with visuals by Lotus Blossom and “CONTROL,” which threw the door open to the SISTER era and arrived with a video directed by Ben Turok.
Speaking about “WHAT IS FOREVER FOR,” Angel of Frost Children shares, “I like the imagined scenario of a romantic on-and-off fling in a faraway place demonstrating some kind of disregard for Forever. EDM has always had this ethos of “We only have Tonight”, which we agree with. It’s not quite apocalyptic, but there’s some sense that nothing really lasts forever, in a beautiful and sometimes sad way. You shouldn’t force Forever or stretch a moment any longer than it happens— the sudden pause is what makes the party obsessional.”
SISTER is saturated in the golden age of EDM and blog house that Angel and Lulu Prost grew up listening to at home in St. Louis. The forthcoming full-length delicately weaves strains of emo, electro, and pure pop sonics while exploring close-to-home themes of co-dependence, consistency, and change through their lyricism. The third full-length is an exhilarating return to those first sounds that moved them, echoing with the reverence and refinement of two formidable artists crafting exactly what they want to hear. But it’s also a striking portrait of Frost Children’s singular creative partnership: as bandmates, as roommates, as symbiotic savants well-versed in the art of what Angel calls “twin telepathy.” Boldly revitalizing and revolutionizing a too-often-devalued subgenre, Frost Children are delivering their most forthright and full-bodied identity statement yet. As Lulu puts it: "This is so confidently what we love, and what we breathe.”
The duo cut their teeth in the New York City nightlife scene, frequently performing well before they had a full-length project out. Those shows eventually led to the organization of their Frost Fest, which was a two-night extravaganza with performances from Danny Brown, Lip Critic, Nation, MGNA Crrrta, Feardorian, and Babymorocco. As their following grew, so did their creative community – collaborating with the likes of the aforementioned Porter Robinson, Danny Brown, Fever Ray, Thrilliam Angels, Eliminate, Dorian Electra, and Jane Remover over the last few years. Frost Children have also been working with pop star Kim Petras, who just shared the track “Freak It,” produced by the duo.
Frost Children bring that energy from the stage directly into the studio during their creative process. Their debut album SPEED RUN, released in 2023, is packed with propulsive power and cheeky lyricism. That same year, the duo released Hearth Room, showcasing their musical dexterity with stripped-down and acoustic tracks written in a wholesome manner alongside their parents. SISTER melds the sensitivity and songcraft of Hearth Room with the vigor of SPEED RUN and puts forward an arrestingly personal vision for modern dance music that transcends nostalgia and trend-chasing.
For the last few months, Frost Children have been bringing their explosive live show to stages around the globe – and it’s not over yet. The duo performed at Primavera in Spain, to which Billboard stated, “Taking a punt on a random act who turn out to be your new favorite artist is one of the greatest joys of festivals, and Frost Children will have been that for many this weekend,” Governors Ball in New York City, along with DJ sets in London and Toronto and performances at Summerfest in Wisconsin, Piknic Electronik in Montreal, Pop Messe in Czechia, O days in Copenhagen and more with sets at OFF Festival in Poland and Boiler Room with The Dare, Hudson Mohawke and Avalon Emerson in Vancouver on the horizon. Full round-up below, and tickets can be found HERE.
Check out “WHAT IS FOREVER FOR” and pre-order / save SISTER above, see upcoming live dates below, and stay tuned for more from Frost Children coming soon.

Trailblazing electronic artist Alison Wonderland officially announces her highly anticipated fourth album ‘Ghost World’, set for release October 3rd, 2025. Following blistering singles "Get Started," and the quickly becoming-live-fan-favourite “Again? Fuck.”, the album news drops alongside the at once introspective and hopeful tones of the buoyant “iwannaliveinadream”.
Described by Alison as "psychedelic future bass," "iwannaliveinadream" is "all about trying to escape reality for a small amount of time because right now the real world feels too noisy. This song sounds nostalgic and dreamy," explains Alison.
Watch the epic “iwannaliveinadream” video shot & directed in New Zealand by award winning filmmaker Conor Pritchard HERE:

‘Ghost World’ is the feature length embodiment of the community Alison has built throughout her career, a safe space for all walks of life, for outsiders of every stripe, for those that don’t quite fit the mould as well as those who just like to rave & lose themselves in her music. Written during a time of major change the album speaks to the power and energy of creating your own reality, your own world to seek refuge and ultimately finding connection and community with like minds. It’s about keeping your head up; it’s about dancing through the pain; it’s about being there for the people you love and care for and holding them close.
“I often feel like I’m wandering this earth trying to find my home, both artistically and personally” says Alison “..sometimes it feels like the search will never end, I want people to know that while you’re on that search, there is place of refuge here for you, with us, in Ghost World”.
“I am forever grateful for the people who listen to my music and allow me to continue to create, to exorcize complicated feelings and emotions through my art and - yes - my ego death haha. I am only here because you are.“
Across 14 tracks ‘Ghost World’ is Alison’s most varied, confident, ambitious, and decidedly on the pulse collection of tracks to date, including a few soon-to-be-revealed collaborations to surprise fans..

Global pop sensation Chappell Roan has released one of the most anticipated songs in her growing discography—the official studio recording of her new single “The Subway”, out now on Amusement / Island Records. A gut-wrenching ballad that fans have been clamoring for since she began performing it live last summer, “The Subway”, produced by and co-written with Daniel Nigro, is another immaculately crafted home run that puts Roan’s once-in-a-generation talent at the forefront. The song tells the story of the quiet heartbreak of literal and metaphorical missed romantic connections and the pain that endures through the small daily reminders everywhere. Lyrically at her utmost vulnerable, Roan cleverly captures the disorienting grief of moving on with some of her most heart-felt songwriting yet and a vocal performance that defies any expectations. Her flair for the dramatic reverberates as her gentle soprano musings turn into full volume iconic catchphrases, “I made a promise, if in four months this feeling ain’t gone, well f*ck this city, I’m moving to Saskatchewan!”. Fans started to catch on that the long awaited single would soon be released as posters, murals and red tresses were spotted around New York last week and a video of a moving truck in Saskatchewan went viral. Yesterday, Roan launched a limited edition copper metallic 7” that quickly sold out, featuring “The Subway” (Side A) and previously unreleased “I Hate It Here”(demo) (Side B).
LISTEN TO “THE SUBWAY” HERE
Alongside, the song comes Roan’s most ambitious official video yet, shot on location in Manhattan, New York. Directed by Amber Grace Johnson (Jorja Smith, FKA Twigs, Lolo Zouaï), “The Subway” video is a high-camp love letter to New York and the one that got away, all shot on 35mm film. Throughout the video, Roan’s infamous red locks are shed, exposing the lovelorn singer in iconic New York moments, doing anything but blending in and literally getting dragged. On the subway she sees ghosts of her past and visions of her future self; in the outside world, she is plagued with garbage and rats but still remains in pursuit of that once special feeling.
WATCH “THE SUBWAY” OFFICIAL VIDEO HERE
Roan shares, “The cliche of 'the girl that got away' barely scratches the surface for me with this song. I wrote it as I was stumbling around New York with a broken heart and I kept envisioning us on every street, fire escape, coffee shop, park and yes… the subway.“
Last week, Roan announced a string of U.S. live dates this fall with multiple all ages shows in New York, Los Angeles and Kansas City, Missouri. The newly announced pop-up shows include a four-night takeover at Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, NY on September 20th, 21st, 23rd, and 24th, crossing the midwest with a two-night stay in Kansas City at the Museum and Memorial Park on October 3rd and 4th; and wrapping with two nights at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on October 10th and 11th. As with previous Chappell Roan headline shows, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to organizations that provide support and resources for trans youth.
Tickets are on sale for previously registered Fair AXS users from August 5 through August 7. Learn more at axs.com/chappellroan2025. Roan has also teamed up with Cash App and Visa to offer Cash App Visa Cardholders an exclusive discount. Fans can use their Cash App Card at checkout to automatically get 15% off, which will be credited back to their Cash App balance. For more information on the Cash App Card discount, please visit cash.app/exclusives/chappellroan.
Roan shares, “I am sooo excited to bring Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things to New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles!!! I love these three cities so much and wanted the chance to do something special for them this year.
Since I started performing, I have always wanted my shows to be a party that everyone is invited to, and the only way to do that is to keep ticket prices affordable and away from scalpers. The Fair AXS ticketing process for these shows is one measure we are taking to ensure tickets end up in the hands of fans who actually want to be there.
With these shows we’re also giving $1 per ticket to organizations that provide resources and support for trans youth <3 It is so important that I give back to the Trans community as they have given me so much throughout my entire career. “
This new run of shows marks Roan’s first headline dates since her record-breaking 2024 festival season, where she drew some of the largest crowds at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Gov Ball and more. She recently headlined Primavera in Barcelona and is set to headline Reading & Leeds Festivals and Edinburgh Summer Sessions, along with appearances at Øya Festival, Way Out West, Pukkelpop and more. Her Midwest Princess Tour, which spanned North America and Europe from September 2023 to October 2024, earned widespread critical acclaim for its theatrical visuals, queer celebration, and sold-out venues. A full list of previously announced international tour dates is available at www.iamchappellroan.com.
“The Subway” follows Roan’s hotly anticipated 2025 single “The Giver”, a queer country anthem that debuted earlier this year at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. First performed at her Saturday Night Live debut performance, the track arrived with a hotline teaser, national billboard campaign, and limited-edition vinyl series showcasing Roan in various over-the-top service roles – from plumber to private investigator - and landed NPR’s #1 spot ranking the best performances from the 50th anniversary season.
The character of Chappell Roan, in all her fabulous glory, truly began to take shape with 2020’s “Pink Pony Club,” a song about a small town girl who finds belonging at a West Hollywood go-go bar that was inspired by Chappell’s real-life experiences in LA. Roan’s ascent to the top felt quick to some, but “Pink Pony Club” finally reached #1 at Pop Radio on its five-year anniversary of release and has become a defining part of her story. A critical smash, Roan’s debut album The Rise And Fall of a Midwest Princess (Amusement / Island Records) established Roan as a breakthrough singer, songwriter and performer who could combine fantasy with self-reflection, with songs like “Casual”, “Red Wine Supernova”, “HOT TO GO”, “My Kink Is Karma”, “Naked In Manhattan” and “Kaleidoscope” earning her 2024’s Best New Artist Grammy. Her highly conceptual theatrics and costumes for both live shows and performances on SNL, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and the 2024 MTV VMAs set the internet alight. A larger-than-life performer inspired by drag and burlesque, Chappell Roan has a reputation for making every show into a dance party that everyone wants to join.

THE DARE CONFIRMS NEW DANCE EP & RELEASES "TAMBOURINE"
“TAMBOURINE” DEBUTS TODAY
PLAYING LOLLAPALOOZA, LEEDS, READING, AUSTIN CITY LIMITS AND MORE IN AN EXPLOSIVE YEAR OF SOLD-OUT LIVE SHOWS AND PARTIES

August 1, 2025—The Dare’s new dance EP, Freakquencies: Vol. 1 , is set for release August 22; pre-order vinyl here and pre-save on streaming here . The first song, “Tambourine,” debuts today; listen/share it here .
“Freakquencies: Vol. 1 is the first installment in a series of EPs aimed directly at the dancefloor,” The Dare says. “These four tracks were made for and spun at various Freakquencies parties around the globe. They marry some of my latest and greatest loves: French touch, big beat, electro and acid. Whatever gets you there.”
The sonic extension of his now-legendary New York party Freakquencies, the EP is The Dare’s first ever project-length dance release. The EP features four tracks—including today’s “Tambourine,” the forthcoming MC5-sampling “Kick” and more—that emulate the buzzy club nights, which have become a pillar of New York night life since their inception at the Manhattan basement bar Home Sweet Home. The party has seen sold-out editions in Mexico City, London, Paris, Barcelona and Los Angeles, most recently blowing out a run of iconic Brooklyn venues—Public Records, Elsewhere, Knockdown Center and 3 Dollar Bill. Recent nights have seen The Dare team up with guest DJs Doss, Danny L Harle, Dylan Brady, Kelly Lee Owens and Fcukers, among many others.
Freakquencies: Vol 1 comes on the heels of What’s Wrong With New York?: Afters, the deluxe version of The Dare’s critically acclaimed debut album, which arrived last year to extensive praise from the likes of NPR , The New York Times , PAPER and more. The Dare’s long-awaited and highly anticipated debut took the world by storm, featuring the ubiquitous first single “ Girls ”—now a bona fide hit with 62 million streams on Spotify alone—alongside fan favorites “ Perfume ” and “ Good Time .”
The Dare has toured the record around the world, with explosive festival sets at Coachella and Primavera Sound as well as a completely sold out seven-night residency at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right and a run of dates with Justice in California. The rest of the summer will see The Dare take his live show to additional festival stages around the globe, with dates at Reading, Leeds and more, plus an appearance at Austin City Limits in the fall.
The Dare is the solo project of vocalist, songwriter and producer Harrison Patrick Smith. Bursting onto the scene with his global hit “Girls,” his much lauded The Sex EP drew widespread praise from critics and fellow artists alike. He has shared stages and collaborated with Charli xcx, Yves Tumor, Brutalismus 3000 and a host of others, and his legendary DJ sets have soundtracked parties for Gucci, Celine, Yves Saint Laurent and many more. The past year has seen him joining Charli xcx at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, sitting front row for a number of shows at Paris Fashion Week and, most recently, producing PinkPantheress’ album standout “ Stateside ” from her mixtape Fancy That and remixing Justice’ “ Mannequin Love ” from the electronic duo’s 2024 LP.
More from The Dare is imminent.

Special Request - the alter ego of respected and beloved DJ and producer Paul Woolford - has remixed “Still The Same,” the single by Goldie’s project Rufige Kru which features guest vocals courtesy of the acclaimed, BRIT Award-winning rap artist CASISDEAD.

Watch the official visualizer HERE .
Known for his huge house anthems as Paul Woolford, and heavier dancefloor fillers as Special Request, this remix tastefully layers sections of CAS’s bars with rolling breaks and a heavyweight bassline.
The original version of “Still The Same” features on the recently-released, acclaimed album Alpha Omega by Rufige Kru. Consisting of twelve groundbreaking new tracks which bring together Goldie’s unerring dancefloor suss and the impeccable technical prowess of Submotive (real name James Davidson), Alpha Omega is Rufige Kru’s deepest outing so far – a reminder of exactly why drum and bass remains the most exhilarating, groundbreaking and electrifying music on the planet.
Upon its release, new album Alpha Omega was praised by the likes of DJ Mag, who hailed it “an impressive record from an artist still innovating over three decades into his career” in their review of the album, and Music OMH noted: “capturing urban claustrophobia as well as wide open, dystopian soundscapes with unerring accuracy, the invention is flowing as freely as it ever has.”
Goldie is currently touring across the UK and Europe this summer, performing both live and DJ sets. He’ll return to the U.S. this fall with scheduled appearances at III Points Festival in Miami, FL on October 17 and at DUCTWORK at SILO in Dallas, TX on October 19. About Rufige Kru:
One of the most revered names in breakbeat science, Rufige Kru rewired the dancefloor for the first time back in 1992 with the hardcore classic ‘Darkrider’. Back then, Goldie’s musical partner was hip hop fanatic Linford Jones. “He had a fantastic record collection,” remembers Goldie. “I had a field day going through his records and pulling out breaks.” Engineer Mark Rutherford – who also worked with Peter Gabriel and Mark McLaren – was another early collaborator. The partnership yielded pivotal hardcore moments like ‘Ghosts Of My Life’ and ‘Terminator’ (still considered one of the key moments in the evolution of drum’n’bass). It’s a testament to the alchemy itself, that no matter who Goldie has worked with – or taken under his wing – the Rufige sound remains consistently forward-thinking and innovative. Though Goldie’s groundbreaking debut album ‘Timeless’ and its 1998 follow-up ‘Saturnz Return’ broke through into mainstream success, he continued the sonic explorations of Rufige Kru with two had found a new musical partner, Heist/Strider mainman Jim Muir. And then, of course, there was the first all-time drum’n’bass classic of the new millennium: Rufige Kru’s 2001 masterpiece ‘Beachdrifta’. Recorded with Danny Goldstein, it was a record that – like ‘Ghosts’ or ‘Terminator’ before it – just turned everything upside down. So much so that, in 2017, when Goldie played two memorable nights at Ronnie Scott’s, the live rendition transformed the venerable jazz club into a 4am rave. “Sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle,” recalls Goldie. “That was one of those times.” Now he’s done it again with the new record. Turning drum’n’bass inside out, reframing the breakbeat, setting the agenda all over again. “I’ve travelled with James (Submotive) through every angle of this game and now he’s a formidable partner in the Rufige Kru echelon….boss levelz.” “I’ve gone back to my roots,” concludes Goldie. “That’s a beautiful thing for me. I’ve spent a lot of time honing my craft, developing these concepts, assembling all these moments. But that sense of possibility – what kept me going in the early days – is still there. I’m still as excited by this music and where it can go as I was all those years ago. The only limit is my imagination.”

Today, Canadian-Colombian pop auteur Tei Shi enlists Philly producer and percussionist Gloorp for the official “Drop Dead” Remix, out now on all DSPs. Gloorp injects his signature high-octane flair into the empowering and unapologetically honest track, layering in chaotic fills, polyrhythms, and cascading textures, twisting the original into a fractured, fever-dream-like production.
Tei Shi shares, “I started listening to Gloorp while backstage at shows over the last year. I'd be getting ready in the greenroom, getting myself hyped up for the show and ‘Gloorp em Up’ would get me so pumped and in a really cool headspace. Noah (who produced my new album with me) is from Philly, so he was on Gloorp early and showed me his music.” She adds, “It feels super cinematic to me...like a score for a really wild movie. I love that he was down to remix ‘Drop Dead’ and I *really* love what he did with the stems -- turning everything into percussion and playing it live on a drum pad. I feel like I'm a pop star in a video game when I listen to it.”
The news follows the release of Tei Shi’s collaborative bilingual Summer anthem “222” ft. Loyal Lobos, as well as last week’s tour announcement. Tei Shi shared via socials that she will embark on a headline tour this Fall in support of her upcoming album Make believe I make believe, out August 29th. The 12-date trek includes nine newly announced shows, kicking off in Los Angeles on Sept 26th and making stops in Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Toronto, Mexico City, Vancouver, San Francisco, and more before wrapping in Portland on November 23rd. LISTEN & SHARE: OSEES - "FIGHT SIMULATOR"
YouTubeOSEES today have shared their new single "ABOMINATION," from their upcoming LP ABOMINATION REVEALED AT LAST , out August 8th via Deathgod. The new track is an off-kilter, blood-pumping explosion of angular guitars, pummeling drums, and unnhinged vocals. "ABOMINATION" follows previous single "FIGHT SIMULATOR," which earned praise and support from Brooklyn Vegan, Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit, and more.
"A LOVE LETTER TO DR STRANGELOVE. A BIG FUCK YOU TO WAR MONGERS EVERYWHERE," Dwyer says of the track. "WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO LINE UP WITH JOHN VALLE WHO HAD A GRIP OF OLD TROMA VIDEO PROSTHETICS AND A GREAT IDEA. HE SMASHED THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK UNDER TIME CONSTRAINTS AND DURESS AND STILL MANAGED TO GET LLOYD FUCKING KAUFMAN TO STAR IN IT WE ARE BLESSED WITH THE MAN’S CONTINUED VIRILITY AND SELSE OF HUMOR. THANKS LLOYD, THANKS JOHN VALLE AND CREW THE SONG SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, I THINK WAR FOR RESOURCES, WAR FOR RELIGION, WAR BASED IN FEAR, WAR BASED IN GREED. THERE IS NO RIGHTEOUS WAR . THERE IS ONLY WAR. ITS A STORY AS OLD AS TIME. OR AT LEAST AS OLD AS HUMAN WEAKNESS."
The 12 tracks on ABOMINATION... are a hypnotic, maniacal, and propulsive attack on the senses–a fitting reaction to a world suffering from genocide, environmental collapse, state sanctioned violence, progressing technocracy, and more. The album was recorded by Enrique Tena Padilla, Mario Ramirez & Dwyer, mixed by Padilla and Dwyer, and mastered by JJ Golden. OSEES are John Dwyer (vocals/guitar/synths), Tom Dolas (guitar/samples/keys), Tim Hellman (bass), and Dan Rincon (drums).
"Well this album just channelled out of the mist of atrocities swirling around the planet right now," songwriter John Dwyer explains. "AI empathy, genocides, social media data collection & addiction, the alignment of tech billionaires with the fascist overlords and their armada of dogs, civilians being kidnapped by bootlicking thugs, the death of due process...the list goes on and on. It's been a long year already."
The band have a massive amount of tour dates lined up for this year, including shows at LA's Teragram Ballroom (7/17 + 9/30), Brooklyn, NY's Warsaw (10/25 + 10/26), and many more. The band will also be playing Glastonbury Festival on June 27th, which will be filmed and livestreamed on the BBC iPlayer. Full routing is below and tickets can be purchased here.

HAERTS RELEASE JULIAN KLINCEWICZ - DIRECTED MUSIC VIDEO FOR “WOMAN ON THE LINE” with JENN WASNER of FLOCK OF DIMES TODAY
HAERTS RETURN
ANNOUNCE LAGUNA ROAD TO COME OUT 10.3
JULIAN KLINCEWICZ - DIRECTED MUSIC VIDEO FOR “WOMAN ON THE LINE” with JENN WASNER of FLOCK OF DIMES OUT TODAY
A FOURTH ALBUM FRAMING A CONFESSIONAL PORTRAIT OF FAMILY, MEMORY, AND THE SACRED MESS OF GROWING A LIFE TOGETHER

Today, the indie pop duo Haerts, reveal the Julian Klincewicz-directed music video for “Woman on the Line” HERE. Known for his years-long continued work with Haerts as well as Beyoncé, Virgil Abloh, and the latest Tame Impala “End of Summer” music video, Julian Klincewicz delivers a very intimate portrait of Haerts.
"Working with Haerts has been my longest running music collaboration, and one that always reinvents itself naturally - whenever I hear a new song, whatever direction it pulls, I always feel something deeply personal that inspires something visual, and there's always a two way understanding between Nini & benny. Sometimes it's a simple as a portrait - slowed down to feel every nuance of emotion. Sometimes it's like pulling a thread. With this video - the song strikes some deep personal chord, and there's a nakedness - uncovering one's emotions, just like taking off make up in the mirror." - Julian Klincewicz
The duo returned with the announcement of their fourth album Laguna Road, which will be released October 3rd. Thematically, the album frames a confessional portrait of family, memory, and the sacred mess of growing a family together. The duo, composed of Nini Fabi and Benny Gebert, wrote and recorded the album at home on Laguna Road, in the in-between spaces of everyday family life. They left the house in early 2025, having completed the album, to return to New York.
About “Women on the Line”, Nini Fabi explains: “The song is about taking ownership of my story and the choices that shaped me as a woman. It’s about the distance between how things look and how they feel - the pressure to keep it together while inside your world is coming apart.
It’s about isolation, acceptance, and the fragile nature of truth, and it came from a moment when I let it all fall apart.”
“Laguna Road is about looking back, a “piecing it together” album. Sonically we moved away from what we had done on our previous records. We wanted this album to feel raw and vulnerable. The songs move slowly and we leaned into that with a light hand on production.” adds Benny Gebert.
Nini Fabi explains: “I was sitting on the steps at Laguna Road, the house we had just moved into with our daughter. On paper, I had everything: a beautiful family, a home with the lemon tree, the hummingbirds, and the piano in the living room. But I was numb, isolated, and anxious in a way that felt permanent. I was at the edge of my thirties and on the verge of some kind of breakdown, and I kept asking myself how I had ended up here."
In the coming months, more singles will be shared leading up to the full Laguna Road album release on October 3rd.
About Haerts:
Haerts is the creative union of singer/songwriter Nini Fabi and multi-instrumentalist/composer Ben Gebert - a duo born in Munich, Germany, and artistically reborn in New York City. Lifelong collaborators, Fabi and Gebert, began weaving songs together as teenagers under the name Nini&Ben, a prelude to what would later become Haerts.
After moving to Brooklyn, they signed with Neon Gold and Columbia Records, where their debut single “Wings” took flight in 2012, becoming an early blog-era anthem and receiving heavy rotation on KEXP and SiriusXM. Their first EP, Hemiplegia (2013), produced by St. Lucia’s Jean-Philip Grobler, further revealed their luminous sound. The track “All the Days” was featured in the 2013 film Carrie and was crowned “Song of the Summer” by Elle magazine - a testament to the duo’s cinematic sensibility and emotional pull.
Their self-titled debut album HAERTS (2014) followed to critical acclaim, establishing the band as masters of melancholy-drenched pop - intimate yet expansive, nostalgic yet timeless.
With a voice like a memory and music that echoes wide open spaces, HAERTS has toured across the U.S. and Europe, sharing stages with London Grammar, Rhye, Washed Out, Shout Out Louds, and Michelle Branch. They’ve performed at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Governors Ball, carving out a space for their ethereal anthems on the world’s biggest stages.
In 2016, they released POWER/LAND, a visual EP made in collaboration with artist Julian Klincewicz (Beyoncé, Virgil Abloh, Miu Miu), blending analog film and dream-pop textures into a multidisciplinary narrative. Their creative partnership continued with the evocative video for “For the Sky,” a song featuring Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear that was hailed for its haunting beauty.
Their second and third albums - New Compassion (2018, Arts & Crafts) and Dream Nation (2021) - delved deep into themes of personal evolution, longing, and spiritual endurance, reflecting the band’s ever-growing emotional landscape.
Haerts’ music has found a lasting home in pop culture, with placements in Good Grief, Moonshot, 13 Reasons Why, Love, Simon, Pretty Little Liars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Hightown. Their live performances have graced The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS), Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC) and further cemented their role in the modern indie canon.
In 2020, Gebert released his solo album, Triptych, via Arts & Crafts, a meditative and minimalist work that was nominated for a Libera Award. Two years later, the duo left the city and relocated to Pasadena, California. There, at a house on a quiet stretch of Laguna Road, a new chapter began. It’s from this place - sun-washed and soul-searching - Haerts’ fourth forthcoming album Laguna Road was born. Moving further away from the synth sounds of their earlier albums, the music on Laguna Road - centered around its confessional lyrics and warm, introspective vocals - is a fusion of minimal instrumentation and expansive string arrangements.
