The Antlers' "Hotel" now streaming at Spin

Pixies Announce Fall 2014 North American Tour Dates

PIXIES ANNOUNCE LEG TWO OF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR,EXTENDING GLOBAL TREK TO FALL 2014 "Indie Cindy," Band's First Album In More Than Two Decades Hits The Streets "Pixies serve up all the gooey melodies, crunchy riffs, and space-age weirdo tendencies that made them so irresistible in the first place.  Get this album.  A-"  - Entertainment Weekly LOS ANGELES, CA - Monday, May 5, 2014 - It's not even a year since Pixies surprised L-R: David Lovering, Joey Santiago, Black Francisthe world with "Bagboy," the band's first new song in a decade, and they have hardly stopped to take a breath since.  More new music surprises followed in the forms of EP-1EP-2 and EP-3 culminating with the April 29 release of Indy Cindy, ("...well worth the wait..."  USA Today), their first studio album in 22 years, plus ten innovative music videos, and sold out tours across Europe, Australia, North and South America - but they're not done yet. Today Pixies announce a second wave of North American dates that will include a special evening under the stars at the famed Hollywood Bowl on September 28.  For registered members of Pixies Fan Club, ticket pre-sale begins today; the public on-sale is set for this Friday, May 9.  Log onto www.pixiesmusic.com for complete purchasing details.
Pixies - Black Francis/guitars, vocals, Joey Santiago/guitars, backing vocals and drummer, backing vocalist David Lovering - will be joined on these dates by touring bassist Paz Lenchantin who joined the touring lineup in January.  Royal Blood will open on the bulk of the tour dates; for the Hollywood Bowl show, Gogol Bordello and Cat Power will provide support.

Deap Vally Announce In-Store Performance At Amoeba Hollywood On May 13Band Prepares for Spring Tour with Band of Skulls

Los Angeles based rockers Deap Vally are excited to announce an in-store performance at one of LA's premiere cultural landmarks and record stores, Amoeba Hollywood. The duo will perform on May 13th at 6:00 pm. The girls of Deap Vally will also be signing copies of their debut album Sistrionix following what is sure to be a head-turning performance at the famous record store.
Deap Vally are continuing their conquests on the road with the imminent arrival of their US tour dates this spring with Band of Skulls. The Los Angeles duo are touring in support of Sistrionix, which was released in 2013. The band will be playing shows in San Francisco (May 22 at The Grand Ballroom at the Regency) and in Chicago (Jun 5 at Park West), among many others. For the band's full tour itinerary, see below.

Hundred Waters have announced they will celebrate the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album  The Moon Rang Like a Bell  (May 27th on OWSLA) with a free three day event Memorial Day weekend at Arcosanti, an "urban laboratory" located 70 miles outside of Phoenix. The brainchild of architect/philosopher Paolo Soleri, Arcosanti was established to demonstrate how urban conditions could be improved with minimal destructive impact on the earth. Hundred Waters will host the three day event, which includes daily workshops, hikes, parties, and musical performances from How to Dress WellMajical Cloudz, ESKMO, Alvin Risk, Julie Byrne, Kodak to Graph, Suno Deko, and, of course, Hundred Waters. Admission and accommodations for the event are free, available in limited quantity via a sign up on the event's website (link below). This event is the first installment of FORM; an artist curated platform imagined by Hundred Waters & Family. FORM brings together artists of all mediums to perform, create, and collaborate at unique and inspiring locations around the globe.
The band will follow the release event with a full US tour, including headlining shows on both coasts and everywhere in between, in addition to coveted slots at Pitchfork Festival and Capitol Hill Block Party (full dates below).
